The next day ,I stay in bed until 1pm, not feeling like doing anything. I didn't sleep in the night actually.
When I finally decide to get out of bed, my phone vibrates and the screen lights up, showing a new text message from Zayn.
What happened Charlotte ? What did you do to make him break up with you ?
I roll my eyes before answering back.
None of your business. How is he ?
A few minutes later, my phone vibrates again.
He's angry. Very mad at you but at least he's not sad. What the hell is wrong with you ?!
I sigh in relief. That went exactly how I wanted then, he's not heart broken and crying over me.
I throw my phone on my bed and head to the bathroom.
I spend the day in bed, crying and watching romantic movies, eating chocolate and ice cream. I sound so depressed.
At 5pm my phone rings. It's an unknown number.
"Hello ?"
"Good job Charlotte, you're faster than I expected" a lady says. The psycho. Shit.
"I did my part of the deal. Now do yours. "
"Of course honey, it's already done. Your friends are safe now, but your remain under supervision. "
I open my mouth to say something but she immediately hangs up.
Great so now I've lost my best friends and my boyfriend. And Hanna is mad at me.
At 8pm I finally decide to go outside for a walk. I stop at Starbucks and order an iced chocolate. When I exit the café, I run into someone and spill my drink on him.
"Oh my god, I'm so sorry ! I'll clean it !" I apologise. I raise my head towards the man who looks at me with wide eyes.
Damn it !
"Harry ?!" I shout
"Charlotte" He stares at me with a glare.
"Be careful ! You wasted my drink ! I'll have to pay for another one now" I snap rolling my eyes.
I walk away and he catches up with me by grabbing my arms.
"You were all nice and polite until you realised it was me who ran into you. So it's all about me right ? You're not like this with everyone ?" He says quietly.
"Like what ?" I jerk away
He rolls his eyes and sighs, annoyed.
"Goodbye Harry"
I glare at him and leave.

A week later
This weekend, I decide to go to some friends' house from university.
We spend the evening watching TV, eating popcorn and drinking beers. These guys are pretty cool actually, I should hang out with them more often.
"Yo Rosalie, change the channel !" A tall guy that I've never met before shouts to my friend from P.E
She giggles and grabs the remote.
"Stop !" I shout when I see Harry and the boys on the screen. They're doing an interview.
"Oh it's your boyfriend !" Ethan smirks.
"He's not my boyfriend anymore. We broke up" I say in a sad voice
I focus on the TV to hear what they're saying.
"So Harry, I heard that you're single again ?"
"Wow I see the news travels fast" I whisper and Cassie nicely shakes my shoulder.
Rosalie turns the volume up and we all remain quiet to listen to the interview.
"Unfortunately yes." Harry answers looking down
"So do you want to remain single or have you got another girl in mind" the guy smirks and Harry chuckles. I gulp and everyone glances at me.
"Hm I'm going to stay single for a while"
I sigh in relief but he continues.
"I'm fed up of all these relationships. I want a true and lasting one, with someone that is mature enough to talk to me when something is wrong."
Oops. I gulp again and blush.
"Euh I think I'm going to go" I say embarrassed.
No one says a word, they just give me a friendly smile.
"See ya Char'" Nick says
"It was nice having you" Ethan adds
Rosalie stands up to accompanies me to the door and pulls me into a hug.
"Don't worry it'll be alright"
"Thanks Rose" I smile and leave the house.
They were all so nice, it was good to be with them tonight.
I miss the others though. I miss Louis teasing me, I miss Niall laughing at everything, I miss Liam being the daddy and trying to calm Louis down even if he ends up doing the same thing, I miss Zayn being so sweet and caring. I miss Hanna too, she hasn't answered my texts since our last talk on the phone. I don't even know if she's aware that we broke up.
And most of all I miss Harry. I miss hearing him chuckle and his husky voice when he's just woke up, I miss seeing his dimples appear when he smiles, I miss his soft and pink lips on mine. I guess I will have to be used to it now.
On my way back home, I decide to call Hanna once again. Finally she picks up.
"Hey Hanna..."
"Charlotte, hey..." She answers a little bit... Embarrassed ? "I'm sorry for ignoring you this week... I guess I was just surprised by what the boys told me"
"It's ok Han'. So you know about Harry and I ?"
"Yes but I'm still trying to figure out what happened. He loves you and you love him, it should be simple"
"It's complicated..." I sigh
"Explain then. I have time"
"I don't want to talk about this Hanna. Anyway how's your grandma ?" I try to change the subject.
"Ok... Much better, she left hospital yesterday"
"That's great ! Have you visited her already ?"
"I'll go tomorrow"
"Oh ok well say hello from me"
"Sure ! Oh Louis is calling me, I have to go"
"Hmm your Prince Charming" I giggle and I'm pretty sure she must be rolling her eyes playfully.
"Shut up, we're just friends"
"Of course Han'" I agree ironically.
"Bye sweetie" she giggles
"Byeeeee"
I hang up and smile. Finally someone that is not mad at me for what I did to Harry.
