He sighed and sat down next to me.
I gave him an encouraging smile because he looked like he needed it.
"Okay so my name is Zayn Malik" He said waiting for my reaction.
"Sound familiar...?" He asked studying my face.
"Kinda" I said furrowing my eyebrows unsure of what he wanted me to say.
"Me, Niall, Louis, Harry, and Liam are...are um......moving to Michigan!" He stuttered and finished off with fake enthusiasm.
I folded my arms because he was obviously lying.
I waited for him to continue.
"Okay..Me, Harry, Niall, Louis, And Liam are..."
"Zayn it's okay just tell me" I said getting lost in his brown eyes.
"Promise me I won't loose your friend ship?" He said staring back at me.
"I promise. What is so bad that you can't tell me?" I asked getting confused.
"I'm ridiculously famous" he said quickly, gauging my reaction.
I laughed, I couldn't help it. I fell back on the bed and after a few moments I sat back up and tried to sustain my giggles but miserably failed.
"I'll prove it to you" he said confidently.
I waited this would be good.
He pulled out his phone and played a song.
He raised both eyebrows and gestured to his phone.
I giggled again.
"Fine do you have any siblings?" He asked.
"Well you wouldn't call her that but-"
"Perfect go get her" He said rather eager to prove to me he was 'famous'.
I walked out and dragged Lyla in to...the empty room?
"What the hell?" She grumbled.
"I have.." I said looking under the bed "something to show you" I said confused.
Then Zayn came out of the closet.
(Ha ha not like that)
Lylas eyes widened to the size of saucers. "Oh screw Ryder! You're... You're...-"
"You're leaving" I stated pushing her out the door.
"Okay so what are you a YouTuber?" I asked as I rolled my eyes and sat down next to him.
"Charlie Ryder's here" Lyla sang through the door.
Shit.
"Oh God" I said looking at Zayn with widened eyes.
"You have to go down the latter!" I said frantically.
I rushed him to the window only to find the latter was gone. Lyla you bitch.
"Oh God" I whined running a hand through my hair.
"Who's Ryder?" Zayn asked.
I sighed. Well Ryder was going to meet Zayn.
I opened the door to a smirking Lyla.
I walked down stairs and to the front door.
I opened it so only I was revealed.
"Hey char-" he stopped when I opened the door to reveal Zayn.
"Lyla was telling the truth" he said angrily.
What?
"You know I thought she was lying but the picture is perfectly clear so don't worry I'll leave you alone" he said angrily walking away.
"Ryder wait!" I said going after him.
"What a shame" Lyla said stoping me dead in my tracts.
"What did you say to him" I growled.
"Shouldn't you be asking where mom and dad are?" She smirked.
"Don't worry they only went out for a bit so it's just you me and pretty boy here" she smiled devilishly.
"Good no one to stop me from doing this" I went to slap her but Zayn grabbed my wrist.
"What are you doing?" I hissed at him.
"Saving you from regret" he said letting go.
I sighed. "You know I'd ask you what your problem was but I've already diagnosed you as a lunatic!" I screamed at her.
"I told you lay off Ryder" She smiled.
"I swear to God I am going to slap her." I said looking at Zayn.
"So Charlie? Are you dating Ryder or Zayn?" She asked playing a game I didn't want to engage in.
"Or maybe even Tommy?" She faked gasped.
I breathed angrily because I was going kill this girl.
"Actually I was thinking about going for Jackson" I spat making her face grow red with anger.
"What about going for Jackson?" Jackson said walking downstairs.
"Jackson?" I gasped in a high pitched voice "where..where were you?" I said caught completely off guard.
"Upstairs in Lylas room. What's going on?" He asked taking in the scene before him.
"Charlie is saying she wants to steal you away from me because she's jealous" Lyla said innocently looking up at her boyfriend with big blue eyes.
"Oh hell no Jackson-"
"No Charlie! What the hell happened to you? First you're mean to Lyla, then you punch her,
You get mad at me for no reason, And now you're trying to break us up!" Jackson said out raged.
"No mate you've got it all wrong" Zayn said stepping in front of me and up to Jackson.
"Woah.." Jackson said warily. "First in not your mate and second you need to back the hell up." He growled.
Zayn glared at him and didn't move an inch.
"Zayn" I said grabbing his arm.
"Zayn come on let's just go" I said pulling him to the living room. He didn't brake eye contact with Jackson until they were out of sight.
"Who the hell was that guy" he said turning to look at me.
"Ex best friend" I sighed.
"And your step sister?" He guessed.
"Sadly" I sighed.
"What a bitch" he breathed.
"Um I'm staying at the Angelo D'vil
Grand suite at the top if you want to stop by tomorrow." He smiled.
"Oh and it's the second one not the first believe me you do not want to go there" he rolled his eyes.
"Okay I'll see you tomorrow" I said and gave him a quick hug good bye and when he left with a feeling that I wasn't sure I wanted to feel.
I sighed. May as well go after Ryder and fix the mess Lyla made.

Ryder's pov
I found a smile on my face as I went to go see Charlie.
She was like a breath of fresh air in my shitty life.
I knocked on the door and smiled down at my feet.
I looked up as someone opened the door and my smile faded.
"Hi Ryder" Lyla said sweetly. She was quite the actress.
"I'm here to see Charlie" I said as her facade broke momentarily but she quickly smiled again.
Then a look of sadness washed over her face. Lyla was pretty but was she a bitch.
"Does Charlie know you're stoping by?" She asked confused.
"Yeah why?" I said cautiously.
"Ryder I think you should come back later" she rushed.
"Why what's going on?" I growled.
"She's kinda in the middle of something. Her boyfriend from New York came to visit her and there um you know" And I did know what she was implying, but I didn't believe her.
"Lyla cut the crap and go go Charlie" I barked.
"Fine" She said like she was going to prove me wrong.
A few moments passed before Charlie appeared in the door way with a nervous smile on her beautiful face.
I smiled at the sight of her I knew Lyla was lying.
"Hey Char-" I said and the smile disappeared from my face as the door opened all the way that revealed a dark haired guy.
I could feel the anger boil inside me.
"Lyla was right?" I growled.
The rest was a blur. I was so angry and she wasn't even there to stop me from what I did next.
You can call it getting into old habits or what ever you want but I knew I'd regret it later when I was left with the bruises the next day.
I went into the part of town I use to consider my home despite my 'home' was with and drunk abusive father and a broken mother.
I went into the old ally where a few drunks were passed out and and a Circle of people were fighting down the ally at a clearing.
After kicking five people's ass I decided I was tired and to go home.
I don't know why she had such an effect on me but I didn't like it.
