"I had to Logan, I tell him everything!" I yelled.
Two days since I had lost my virginity and we were already fighting.
"Yeah, well you could have considered that he's in love with you and he's going to kill me!" Logan sat down on one of the bar stools in my kitchen sighing.
"Look, if I know him right, he'll be a little mad at you, and not talk to you, and give you the cold shoulder etc. but he won't hurt you... I hope." I thought for a while. "Yeah, OK maybe you should watch out. But come on, I only told him we were back together."
"Yeah, you're right."
"See?" I walked over to him and wrapped my arms around him. "There's nothing to worry about," I said inches away from his face just before kissing him.
"OK, let's go upstairs."
I laughed and kissed him some more. We walked over to the stairs and I pulled away.
"Wait."
"Huh?" He started kissing my neck.
"Have you told any of your friends? About- I mean, the sex part?" I asked him.
"Of course." He started kissing me again. I pushed him off.
"Of course?" I got offended. "So you get to tell all of your friends but I can't tell my only and best friend?"
"Yeah well none of my friends are in love with me," he said into my neck.
"I'm sorry, I don't wanna do this right now."
He sighed and we sat down on the steps. "You can't treat him like that," he said. "You've got to let him go."
"I can't. I need him."
He frowned. "You have me."
"You don't know me like he does. Anyway, I have plans with him after like an hour."
He stood up. "Yeah I should get going."
"OK," I said smiling and standing up as well.
"I'm trusting you Lucy."
I opened the door and kissed him. "You should." And then I closed it behind him.
As soon as I did, I checked my phone. Blake hadn't texted me or anything, so I decided to call him. I dialed his number and waited for him to answer. He didn't for a while, but when I was just about to hang up I heard his voice.
"Hey," he said casually
"Hey, so when are you coming over?" I asked.
"Oh, right. About that..." He paused. "I'm sorry but I'll have to cancel."
I frowned. "Oh, how come?"
He chuckled awkwardly. "I have a date."
My world crumbled. He had a date. He liked someone. He didn't like me anymore. He didn't care about me anymore. He was going to kiss her and he was maybe even going to... do things with her. Maybe he'd marry her. Maybe he'd have kids with her and name them something cute like Dorothy or something. And they'd live happily together for the rest of their lives and I'd never see him again.
"Um, Lucy? You there?" I suddenly heard.
"O-oh yeah... yeah- I heard you. Um, yeah, with who?" I sat down swallowing a lump in my throat.
"Um, it's just this one girl. Michael had suggested I'd ask her out, but I didn't since... you know." He cleared his throat. Who was Michael again?
Oh wait yeah he was one of his friends. But that was the least of the things on my mind. He still liked me.
"Oh, uh, yeah-yeah of course. So.. so um, where are you headed?" I asked with my eyes squeezed shut.
"Just like... Taco Bell or something."
"Okay, well... have fun," I said making a fake smile. I hoped he wouldn't have fun. I hoped she was rude and mean and smelt bad.
"Thanks," he quietly said. "I'll see you later then?"
I smiled "Yeah, you owe me a night out."
He laughed. "All right, bye."
"Bye."
This was a disaster. He couldn't be dating someone. Especially if she was pretty. I had to stop this.
But how would I? I'd have to wait, that's for sure. There was something weird about this though. There was school tomorrow. At least they couldn't be out together for too long. For now I'd just sit on the couch and watch some TV.

The next morning I couldn't think about anything else but Blake's date. When I saw Logan I walked the other way because I knew he'd know I was lying when he would ask me if I was OK. And he would find out that I couldn't stop thinking about Blake and then he'd get angry. I didn't find Blake for the first two classes but then I finally saw him at lunch. He was with somebody.
"Hey... Blake," I said as I approached him.
"Um, hi Lucy, this is Gabrielle," he said while gently rubbing his forehead. He was nervous.
But now I could see why he was. She turned around. She had long, brown hair, blue eyes, perfect lips, fabulous eyebrows, she was tall and then she smiled. She was so beautiful I almost started questioning my sexuality. Oh, my god. This was worse than I thought.
"Hi, I've heard so much about you," she said to me with such a beautiful voice. One thing was for sure. She was way out of Blake's league.
"Oh-uh, hi." I looked at Blake, raising my eyebrows. She had heard so much about me. They had gone on one date. He had talked about me. "Um, so I'm gonna go..." I pointed at Logan. "So yeah. Enjoy... yourselves or whatever."
I blushed so hard I had to almost run away from them. Damn, that was embarrassing.
I sat down next to Logan who was sitting next to some of his other friends.
"Hey, babe," he said and kissed me.
"Hi."
"Hey, how you doing, I'm Dan," some random guy next to me said and put out a hand. I shook it.
"Hey. Lucy," I replied, smiling.
"We know," another guy said who was sitting directly across from me.
I raised my brows at Logan. "Great."
At that moment I saw Ellie walking towards us. All eyes were on her when she came over. "Got back together I see," she said smiling. "Really thought it wouldn't happen after... You know." Then she looked at Logan and said "It was great by the way." Wow, she had gotten real bitchy. I wondered if the good girl attitude was all an act.
He stood up and started getting defensive. That's when everything got quiet. Every single student stopped talking.
"No, Logan it's OK," I said calmly stroking his arm.
She laughed. "Oh, so you're that deep in his lies?" Logan sat down, but I could see he was holding back every desire to punch the shit out of her. For me.
"Let me tell you what, when the two of us had done fucking for the first time, he said, to my face, that it had been better than it would ever be with you."
People started oohing and laughing, but I kept calm.
I stood up, facing her. "Yeah, well when the two of us had done fucking for the first time, he said, to my face, that, and I quote, you were nothing compered to me." I started getting aggressive so I tried calming my self down.
She pouted and tilted her head. "Ow, and you really believed that?"
I laughed and shook my head. "You know what?" Then I turned around, grabbed my coke and splashed it at her. Then calmly said, "Fuck you," and sat back down.
I felt really good about myself for a moment there. A bunch of people rooting for me and getting a bunch of good looks, but when I looked around, I realized.
Blake. He heard the whole thing. He knew.
I could see his eyes and I could've seen from a mile away that this was not good.
