Chapter 18
“You got it?” I asked after we broke up from the huddle.
“Uhh…yeah I guess” said Zane scratching the back of his head.
“You betta have cos I worked hard to make it cool and dramatic” I said.
Mason rolled his eyes.
“Ok…Dad you go to the front and spy on em…make sure you block em out of your head” I ordered Zane (Dad).
“Do I have to be called Dad?” he moaned.
“Yes now go!” I whisper yelled.
He groaned but ran to the front of the house, hiding behind a bush.
“Ok…there’s a store open around the corner” whispered Mason.
“Let’s go” I whispered and we ran to the store.

“Zane, where are the targets?” I spoke through the ear piece, while scanning the shelves.
“What happened to Dad?” Zane asked amused.
“Fine. Dad where are the targets?” I asked again.
He groaned. “I had to ask…Mud, Cow and Pinocchio are in the living area”
“Dad!! You have to repeat what you say!!” I said.
“Really Roxy?” asked Dad in disbelief.
“Yup”
He sighed. “Mud, Cow and Pinocchio are in the living area, I repeat Mud, Cow and Pinocchio are in the living area”
“Awesome, we’re still in the store tell me if they move or anything! I repeat tell me if they move or anythin” I whisper yelled.
“You didn’t repeat the same thing” said Mason smirking.
“I made I simpler now shut it and find the damn thing!” I whisper yelled.
He gave smirked again but shut up.
Where the hell is it?!?
“Found it” said Mason.
I looked around. “Where are ya?”
“Come and find me” he said.
“This is no time for games Mase”
“Fine then…I’ll guess I’ll stay here”
I sighed. “Coming”

“Am I getting warmer?” I asked walking around the aisles.
“How can you? You’re already hot”
“Oh shut up. We gotta be at the frickin house now!”
I was at the fifth aisle when I spotted what we needed, but no Mason…
“I found it” I said.
Arms circled my waist.
“Get off and let’s go” I said trying to pry myself free.
He sighed and took a deep breath in my ear.
“Get off me now or I’ll rip your frickin head off”
“Same old diss…” he whispered huskily.
My wolf begged me to kiss him.
But no way!
I got out of his grip and grabbed the thing we needed, I grabbed 5 of them and tossed the shopkeeper £40. It was way more than what it costs but oh well…we’re loaded anyways.

“Finally!” Zane whisper yelled.
“Sorry, Mase was messin bout” I replied.
Zane smirked and so did Mason.
I rolled my eyes.
“Go distract em while we sort the kitchen out” I ordered Zane.
“Kay, hurry up” he said getting up.
“Oi! Take your ear piece out” I called after him, still whispering though.
“Oh yeah…why did we get these?”
“Cos they’re cool and spy-y” I answered.
He rolled his eyes, took it out and handed it to Mason.
“Actually…go to the games room, it’ll keep em occupied” I said to Zane.
Zane smirked and left.

“Really Roxy?” asked Mason in disbelief.
“Yup, to be a spy you gotta dress like one” I said handing Mason some black clothing.
He groaned and walked into the bathroom.
I grinned and walked to my wardrobe. I pulled out some black leather trousers, a black tank top and a black leather jacket with some black converse.
Mason came out wearing a black leather jacket, black pants and overall he looked so hot!! Shit! I did not just say that. Scrap that!
Mason smirked. “You like?”
“Oh shut up” I said pushing past him to the bathroom.

I came out wearing my spy gear.
Mason looked at me and studied my body.
I grinned. “You like?”
He rolled his eyes and I grinned even wider.
“Let’s go!” I said sneaking out of my room.
We tip-toed downstairs and into the kitchen.
“Got the butter?” I asked Mason.
“Oh yeah!” he said smirking and nodding his head.
I rolled my eyes. “Let’s get to it!”

{They’re coming} said Zane mentally.
“Oh shit! We gotta hide” I whispered to Mason.
“Where?” he asked, he looked under the sink.
“No. Not again” I whisper yelled.
“It’s the only one” he said dragging me under there. He sat down and placed me on his lap, he closed the door and it was proper dark.
{They’re all downstairs, they’re coming in the kitchen} Zane informed me.
“They’re coming” I whispered to Mason.
He nodded and leaned his head on my shoulder.
I rolled my eyes but I kinda liked…touching…him.

That’s weird…
“AAHHHHHH!!!!” I heard my brothers scream.
I laughed my head off and Mason chuckled.
“What the fuck?!?” shouted Eric.
“What the hell is this?!?” screamed Vince.
{Queue the honey!} I said to Zane.
I burst the door open and grabbed the honey from my pockets. I squirted my brothers then Mason pressed the fan on.
They were covered in feathers, glitter, sparkles, sequins, paint. Anything I could get my hands on basically.
I laughed so hard my stomach hurt.
They looked like sparkly chickens out of a weird kid’s dream!
“What the fuck?!?” screamed Eric.
“Roxy…” said Haden walking closer to me.
I took a step back.
“I want a HUG!!” he ran towards me.
But I was too quick. I pushed Mason forward and he was a sparkly chicken too.
“HAHA!!” I laughed.

I didn’t get anything on me…too quick.
“She even made code names for ya” laughed Zane.
“Who’s who?” asked Eric.
“Well…Eric. You’re Mud” I said.
Everyone laughed except for Eric.
“What about me? Got to be betta than Mud” laughed Vince.
“Vince. You’re Pinocchio” I said grinning.
Vince’s smirk dropped and everyone laughed.
“Haha!! Pinocchio!!” laughed Haden.
“Well…let’s see bout yours. Who’s Haden?” asked Vince.
I grinned. “Haden. Haden’s is cow”
Everyone laughed except for Haden who frowned.
“I’m not a cow” he whined.
“You sure about that?” asked Zane.
We laughed.

Mason had left thankfully!! I had to kick him out of the house, literally. Let’s just say…he weren’t very happy.
“Zane…?”
Me and Zane were sitting on my bed.
“Yeah Roxy?” he asked.
“Remember when you said Mason was a player…how come you let him come here and stuff?” I asked remembering how angry he was when I told him who my mate was…
“Well…we have two packs near us. I thought you meant another one…he’s such a player…he mates with other wolves’ mates. He steals them and forces them to join his pack…he gets rid of them…he’s…” he sighed.
I placed my head on his shoulder. “Is Mason like that?”
“No, he’s actually quite good. Most males especially alphas would force their mate to join their pack…he hasn’t really done that. And he hasn’t marked ya”
I sighed. “Night Zane”
He smiled. “Sweet dreams Roxy”
He kissed my forehead and left. I snuggled into the covers and fell into a deep sleep, after the bed behind me dipped.
