The first thing I see when I wake up is him. He has long, caramel hair and warm, brown eyes. He's sitting in a chair next to the bed I'm in.
We're in a small shack, I can see the boy from the box in a bed adjacent to mine.
"Thomas?" I ask.
The boy looks surprised. "How do you know Thomas?"
"I... I don't know."
"Um okay-"
"He's my brother," I say, interrupting him.
"He's your brother? How do you know? Can you remember anything else?"
"I can only remember the metal room with all the containers and my name and Thomas."
"Well then, love, what's your name?"
My heart skips a beat. Did he just call me love? I can't help but notice how adorable he is, but I just woke up and I don't remember anything, I can't like anyone yet.
"Y/n. My name is y/n."
"Well y/n, the names Newt, welcome to the glade."
