"Wash the dishes.” They may say.
“Clean your room for the whole day.”
“Internet is bad for you.”
“We’re watching our TV so shoo!”
Parents, parents, what a drag.
All they ever do is nag.
“Go do this and go do that.”
“Eating fries will make you fat.”
“Vacuum, work, cook and clean
Or when we get home we’ll be mean.”
Though parents really love to nag,
Their intentions really aren’t that bad.
They say those things with us in mind,
Although to us it isn’t kind.
They shower us with love and care,
It being abundant like oxygen in air.
Parents are lookouts for all the wrong
This world produces all day long.
They steer us clear from the wrong path
But disobeyed, they erupt with wrath.
Parents love us all the time,
No matter if we commit a crime.
Their only wish is for us to succeed,
So love them back and pay them heed
