Aiden's Point of View:
When Alex agreed to the dinner I thought I would feel mad but my heart did something I never thought it would do...skip a beat. Yeah, I know that sounds like a romance novel or something but that was exactly how it felt the moment she said yes.
"Can you play with me?" Ana asked in her normal cute voice, while standing by her legs while looking at Alex with her puppy eyes. I could see Alex wanted to 'Awe' out loud but suppress herself.
"O-Of course cutie." Her always soft voice that sounds like velvet makes my legs feel weak.
"Okay wait here, Don't move." She warns with a 'rough voice' making me chuckled. At the sound of my chuckle Alex turned to look at me with a soft smile and red cheeks making her look more beautiful.
"Well dinner will come in about twenty minutes." The voice of my dad made me jumped as for Alex too.
"Yeah okay." I said stumbling over the words. I could see my dad and Jayden smirking in my direction but I choose to ignore them.
"Here! I brought these to play." Ana came running over to Alex almost falling but then she steadied herself with two Barbies in one hand and a small bag in the other.
"Ana you cant run through the stairs." I scold at her. But then she surprised me by waiving her hand in a way of dismiss what I just told her. My face must have been full of shock to make Alex started giggling. I had to suppress a smile because of her cute giggle.
I stayed in the couch while Jayden and Dad came to sit with me. The three of us probably look like creeps looking at Alex and Ana on the floor each of them with a Barbie in there hands.
"So what kind of clothes do you want today miss?" Ana said in her 'grown up' voice.
"I don't know what do you recommend?" Alex imitating another voice.
"Well I think this dress will be perfect."
"Oh I think so too."
The two of them were so into playing that didn't notice the bell of the door ringing. My mom answer the door revealing my older brother Mason with his boyfriend Ben. The two of them came and said hello and then started talking about how things were.
Now we where five guys looking at the girls still in their own world.
"Dinner is ready." Mom called for us to go. The couple went first and then my dad. I stayed waiting for the girls to finish and then we enter the dinning room. Ana was holding Alex's and my hand while leading us. There were only two seats next to each other so one of us wasn't going to have a chair.
"Oh, Ana wait I'll find you a seat." Mom went to find a seat but Ana had other plans.
"No, I want to seat on Alex's lap." Everyone was silent and Mom wanted to protest but Alex denied.
"No it's fine, come on." Ana sat on Alex's lap while holding her neck. Alex smiled softly like she was remembering someone.
"Alex?!" Mason said full of surprise. It was then that Alex notices the existence of the couple. Her eyes widen and her mouth open like a fish making me suppress a smile.
"Mr. Evans? W-What are you doing h-here?" Mason chuckled while Ben look at Alex with curiosity.
"Well I lived here my first eighteen years, and this is my parents house." He said smirking.
"He's you're b-brother?" She asked me in a shocked voice making me chuckled.
"Yes, sadly he is." I muttered making Alex slap my shoulder for the second time this night. All my family including Ben stand there with wide eyes knowing I never let someone do this to me. Everyone knows I'm very cold hearted but whatever.
"Don't treat him like that mister." She said in a motherly voice making me suppress a smile for like a hundred time today.
"Sorry, bro." I muttered to Mason who was watching with interest like the rest of the family. Alex smiled at me and patted my head.
"I'm not a dog." I say to her while taking her delicate hand and putted in her thigh.
" But you were good." She pouted while looking at me with sad eyes.
"Hey, hey its okay, I'm sorry okay. Please don't be sad." I pleaded. She sniffed and then her whole face change into a big smile.
"See? You really do have a good heart." She tapped my nose with her index finger. When she said that my heart started pounding so hard. I smiled a little without even noticing.
"Wow, that's the first time I've seen you smile dude." Ben said snapping me out of my daze. " I'm Ben by the way." He said to Alex, he is a small guy like three inches taller than Alex. He is a really cool guy and treats my brother good so that's what's important.
"Oh, I'm A-Alex." She reach her hand for Ben to shake it which he does. "So, are you f-family?"
"Basically, I'm Mason's boyfriend." Alex stays in shock and I could see my family starting to feel uneasy about how's she going to react.
"Are y-you serious? Do you h-have any I-ideas how many g-girls want to be with you? I mean I don't mind that your gay, my best friend is gay so... Why do all hot guys have to be gay? I mean the actor of White Collar , and...." I put my hand over her mouth to stop her to keep rambling. I couldn't help but feel a little jealous about the hot guy, but I had to suck it up. "M'sorry" she murmured.
Everyone started to laugh so hard, except Ana who was to entertained playing with a few strands of Alex's hair.
"You're so pretty." Ana said to Alex, who blushed a little.
"Awe, you're the one who's beautiful." Everyone was looking at them like they were angles, which they really look like.
That's how the dinner went away, with my Mom asking questions and Alex answering. She never asked really personal questions, just the normal about school and all. When it was time for me to take Alex to her house she had to say goodbye.
She went to everyone and gave them a hug and surprisingly my father was smiling the whole time. Finally she said goodbye to Ana who made her promise to play with her again which Alex obviously said yes.
We made our way to my motorbike and make the same routine by taking her by her small waist and hoister up and put her small hands in my waist. I turn a little watching her face turn deep red making me chuckled.
By the time we got to her house was about eight o' clock. I put her down by her feet while she gave me the helmet.
"T-Thanks for t-today." She smiled a little.
"Your welcome, I think my whole family loved you, even my dad who is practically a stone hard and Ana definantly loved you and also my brother's boyfriend..." I was cut off by her throwing her self at me by hugging me tightly. I was in shock but quickly react and hug her back. She pulled back and stare at me like she was mesmerize.
"I-I'll guess I'll see y-you in school." She said softly.
"Yeah..." I whispered back.
"B-Bye." She then surprise me by something I would never thought she would do, she softly kissed my cheek and her eyes widen like she realize what she did. She quickly send me a nervous smile and ran off to her house shutting the door.
I was still in shock by the kiss. I could still feel her soft lips pressed in my cheek leaving a lot of electric shocks. I unconsciously touch my cheek remembering. This time I didn't stop the smile that spread in my face. I drove to my house wearing that smile.
The moment I enter my house I ignore my parents and siblings asking me questions, I just went to my room and laid there thinking. I started closing my eyes letting sleep take over.
The last thing I saw before I fall into a deep sleep was the beautiful face of a smiling Alex.
I didn't fight the smile like every time in school or anywhere.
I let it show in my face letting myself know how happy I was.
That night was the best sleep I ever got, dreaming of a certain small beautiful girl.
Her being named Alex.
