Chapter 7:
Troyian's POV:
After Jacey called me I invited her over and we talked about May.
May was my best friend until she passed away.
After we had finished talking I hugged Jacey.
I'm not sure why, but something felt right about the hug.
I started pulling out of the hug but truthfully I didn't want it to end.
I stopped before we were fully apart.
Her face was just inches from mine.
I could see her every perfect blemish.
Her green eyes breath taking and her light hair contrasting with them perfectly.
We sat for a moment but then something came over me.
I have to kiss this girl.
I connected our lips and kissed her.
I just pecked her but her eyes told me she wanted more.
She then proceeded to lunge herself at me.
We kissed and gosh it felt amazing.
Troyian, you are straight! Don't let those damn primary school rumors be true.
I pulled away and immediately regretted it.
"Jacey! No! I'm straight!" I yelled as I pushed off her.
"Apparently not" she laughed.
"No Jacey, I am straight." I said forcefully.
"Well I'm not going to force you into anything but just looking at what happened then, I don't think you are straight" she giggled.
"Well I am. I have a boyfriend" I stated and her face became angry.
"Yeah I know. Gosh I'm so stupid. Sorry about this, I'll leave you alone from now on" She said as she went to leave.
She walked fast across the tired, old carpet and just as she was almost at the door I grabbed her arm.
"Don't go." I begged.
Truthfully I really didn't want her to leave.
She was the first person who I could actually talk to.
Like have a real conversation with.
Her face softened.
"Listen, I have feelings for you that you probably wouldn't like. I need to stay away from you unless you want me to want to kiss you every single second that we are together." She said.
I blushed.
God dammit.
"Please just stay. I've had a rough night." I said as I started tearing up again.
She rushed to me and hugged me in such a loving way.
"Do you want to talk about it?" She asked and I shook my head.
I awoke on an uncomfortable, crusty couch on a person's lap.
I looked up and saw Jacey.
Jacey?
As I remembered the events that had taken place last night she began awakening.
I quickly got off her lap and walked into the tiny bathroom.
I locked the door behind me and slid down the door.
"You are straight Troyian. You are not into girls." I chanted quietly.
*flashback*
"Troyian I have something to tell you" Amber stated.
"Well okay! What is it?" I asked cheerfully.
"Well it's private. Come to the book room with me?" She asked and I nodded.
The book room was a small room in between two classrooms.
I contained nothing but books.
I guess that's where it got its name from.
I walked from the small playground we were playing in and followed Amber up the stairs to room 5.
Room 5 was for year 5's only.
We walked into the book room.
"Okay so what is it you wanted to tell me?" I asked
"Uh, well I know it isn't normal but I can't stop thinking about you. I think I like you, like as in more then a friend like." She answered.
"Wait so you have a crush on me?" I asked.
She nodded.
"Oh. That's okay! And it's perfectly normal. Don't feel ashamed." I laughed.
She kept stepping closer to me and then she kissed me.
I felt sorry for her so I kissed back.
She pulled away and smiled.
"Thanks" she spoke softly.
I just smiled back.
We walked out of the room together and noticed that Dan was standing at the small window you could use to see into the book room.
"Dan!" I gasped.
"I'm sorry but I'm telling everyone" he laughed evilly.
*end flashback*
Amber didn't have a problem with the rumors.
I on the other hand did.
I still don't know why Dan hated me so much.
"Troyian are you in there?" Jacey's sweet voice asked.
"Yeah just give me a minute" I said
"Uh well we are already 2 hours late" she spoke.
Late for what?
School!!
"Oh no!" I yelled as I rushed into the room where Lillia was staying.
I ran in and noticed she wasn't in the bed.
"Lillia!" I yelled.
Jacey walked in behind me.
"Oh yeah a little girl walked out of this room at like 7am so I got her ready and walked her to school. I didn't even know who she was, she kind of looked like you so I assumed she was your sister." She stated.
"If you were up at that time why didn't you get me up?" I asked as I turned around to face her.
"You looked too cute" she giggled.
"Oh I'm gonna get you!" I yelled as I started running towards her.
She started running away and giggling more.
"Stop! Your making me giggle!" She laugh-yelled as she continued running away.
She eventually ran into the crummy room where we began and I tackled her onto the bed.
I tickled her and she kept giggling.
"S-stop!" She laughed.
She eventually turned us over and pinned me down.
I stared at her in shock.
She began leaning in again and I completely ignored the alarm bells going off in my head.
"Oh! What's going on here?" Sam laughed as he wandered into the room with a brown paper bag.
Jacey leaped off me and began giving him the evil eye.
"Oh. Hey Sam!" I stuttered nervously.
"Hey, I noticed you weren't at school so I ditched and brought you some food." He shrugged.
"Uh Jacey this is Sam, Sam-" I was cut off by Jacey.
"I believe we have already met" she growled.
Mmm, she looks good when she growls.
"Oh Jacey! Listen I'm so sorry about the other day. Things got way out of hand and I'm really sorry" Sam apologized.
I just sat quietly and observed an angry Jacey whilst eating my food.
"Whatever." She sassed.
"So why were you two nearly making out before I got here" He winked at me.
"Wait why aren't you upset. I mean I'm basically stealing your girlfriend." Jacey questioned.
I looked at him and asked if I could tell her about this whole situation.
He nodded so I explained everything to her.
"So you aren't dating?" She asked
We both shook our heads no.
She smiled evilly and winked at me.
"Now you're fair game" She laughed.
