I'm falling in love

You've spoken to Lauren a few times now,
In English, when I'm trying to write
I hear you, talking.
Lauren is my best friend,
And she is very pretty so therefore, receives a lot of your attention.
But sometimes, Lauren can be selfish or ignorant.
Especially because of the new friends we've been making.
She acts differently around them and
Around you.
So in English lessons,
I fall out of love with you,
Jealousy takes control of my pen and writes horrible things
That hide between the lines of my work.
Things I regret even thinking
By the time I'm tucked up in bed,
Reliving the day in my mind,
Surrounded by the dark.
I think about you and your smiling, azure eyes and I find that
I'm desperate to be
A reason why you smile.
But you haven't even said hello to me, so I close my eyes,
And meet you in my dreams instead.
