Its a normal day of any other
The sun was bright, providing light to the surface and bringing food to the plants through photosynthesis
The clouds were passing, it's shadow faster than people's assumption
The inhabitants are living their lives like how they used to be. There are schedules that some follow while others broke
It's just a normal day...or is it?
Irene POV
[You are forbidden to meet Lloyd Garmadon]
My eyes widened as a feeling of disbelief and curiosity rose in the pit of my stomach, pulling an unfamiliar feeling into my throat
[What do you mean?] I internally asked as I narrowed my eyes
It's been a few days since I have met Lloyd. I would visit every afternoon and play with him, then ended up going back to the monastery at the early hour of evening
He could be a bit troublesome but he is a good kid. Stubborn, yes and obedient? Yes
I don't see a problem why I would be forbidden, I did not do anything that could be against destiny
[You are strictly forbidden from meeting the protagonist of the show as doing so would disrupt the natural course of events and possibly result in unforeseeable consequences]
I narrowed my eyes, softly putting down the brush I am holding
"I... can't? But I can still help right?"
[Your assistance is welcome, but you shall be forbidden to make a personal acquaintance with the protagonist henceforth, until the program gets underway]
I nodded my head. Sysa wanted me to stop meeting Lloyd until the start of the episode, but I can still provide help to him
I am content with that, but what about Lloyd?
Third person POV
Lloyd Garmadon. A young simple boy tangled into the strings of fate where it plays with his life
He is a young boy misunderstood, and grows up with less discipline than normal kids his age
He knew he had a father, when he was young, he would receive letters providing information about his father and his mother's short reassurance
He barely knows his mother, he has never seen her face. While her father on the other hand was famous, which is why he has posters at some corner of the village, posters of his achievements in his early days or posters of warning
At first, the topic of his father slowly slipped from the minds of the innocent. It was until the news from months ago about his appearance being the dark lord has risen, bringing a slight fear in the hearts of others
Lloyd, who saw that as an opportunity to intimidate others, grabbed that hilt of a sword larger than his body and swung it blindly
Its dangerous to play with a sword, especially without any intention of stopping
He only uses that opportunity for stealing candy though
It's been a few days since a certain female has not visited him. She would send letters as a way of communication because she is busy for the current month
It was a bit lonely for Lloyd because she would always find ways for them to have fun in the room, but he tries to understand her
Irene is like a big sister Lloyd never had, or she could be his mother
She cooks him meals, sometimes they cook together but mostly it's just Irene with him watching her
They will play around the room for some board games that Irene has. Monopoly, Snake ladder, etc
She read him bedtime stories with moral disciples that would help him grow
She reminded him to brush his teeth because apparently, his teeth have some tooth decay from him consuming candy daily. Thankfully, Irene has a special toothpaste that she bought from Sysa's Shop Storage
She would sing him lullabies, letting him sleep before she went back to the monastery
It was fun while it lasted. So currently, Lloyd was reading another letter about Irene's words of comfort and apologies
He tries to understand, but he could not help finding himself stuck in a darkness of loneliness like in the past at his boarding school
Where is she?
He looked around the room Irene rented for him, the room that was bright when she came, has turned into a place where he felt suffocated
Its so different when Irene is present. Everything felt alive and warmth with her around

A swift movement of a figure dances through the obstacle in a room, avoiding the sharp corner of the tables and the cabinets that sticks to the taller wall
Her brunette hair fading to a gingered color bounces as she grabs a sharp object and directs it to the wooden board in front of her
Her shining locks styled to a ponytail, with a light yellow apron protecting her petite figure
With an innocent smile that did not fit the dark shadow on her face, she swung the sharp object, watching the victim take all the hit
Behind her is a certain white haired male who does not dare to disturb her, with a black haired boy trembling behind him
A dark aura surrounded the small body of the female, her smile soft yet tight. She is clearly annoyed by something none of them knew
Her movements were fast and forceful, the sound of wood getting tortured meet the ears of the two boys who only wanted to be taught at cooking, even the one who does not learn anything
It was a scary sight
It did not take a while before the others came with the exception of their sensei who stays to meditate in his room
Jay felt a shiver running down his spine the moment he felt the familiar dark presence of his sister
"Uh oh" He muttered as he hid at the corner of the doorframe and watched as the others went in the kitchen, unaware of the danger that lurks when the source of the dark aura snaps
"What is going on?" Nya asked as she watched with a confused expression
Zane and Cole shook their head, also clueless
"We do not know" Zane said, staring with pity at the wooden cutting board he knew Irene just brought days ago
"Woah, you look like an angry wife, Irene" Kai said, laughing lightly at her current behavior
His comment causes Jay to send a sharp glare at the boy, when he was about to argue with Kai like daily. Irene stood still
Jay's face paled when he caught a sight of Irene's face which is filled with a look of deep thought then he wildly shook his hand to warn the others, knowing that Irene is planning for their 'punishment', but it was already too late
The room's temperature dropped, that even Master Wu could sense the change in his absence
Then before the ninja can know it, they are sitting at the front of the gate, their position similar to meditation
"Cole, you're back is too stiff" Cole heard Irene's voice before she whack his head with a small stick she found
"Ow!"
"Kai, your muscles are tense"
"Ouch!"
"Jay, you are trembling"
"AH!!!"
"Zane... Good job"
Nya watches with amusement inside the monastery as the petite female 'punish' the boys for some apparent reason that none of them do not know
Master Wu was also watching from his room, finding the suffering of his students, hilarious, especially with a girl smaller than them teaching them a lesson
The ninja did not know what was wrong. Cole and Jay blaming Kai for calling Irene an 'angry wife' in her current behavior because they thought it was the reason Irene got mad. Kai finding her behavior adorably horrifying, and Zane seeing it as a lesson to never speak of something obvious to someone that has a bad day
Overall, no matter how much Irene forces them to meditate, the three boys were the impatient ones to actually never try at those hours
That was the second time they encountered an irritated Irene. And they sure hell would love to not encounter it again
Time Skip
Days passed with Irene sending letters to Lloyd, with the boy also sending her some even with his handwriting scribbles
It was beginning to get lonely for Lloyd, so instead of waiting for Irene like he originally had planned, he decided to roleplay like his father and steal candy from other villages
So he packed what is essential and efficient for his travel, and left the inn without telling the owner with Irene unaware of his current plan
Currently, Irene is checking her status inside her room, using her 'Skill Points' to add a few levels to the skills she found relevant for their upcoming mission

Irene was about to close her status when she heard the cheers of the ninja. She raised an eyebrow, and stood up
She opened her shoji and went out into the hallway, sensing Master Wu's quick aura passing her room towards the loud cheers
She hummed, following the aura to the room and peaking inside, only to see the four colored ninja playing another video game
She pursed her lips as her eyebrows furrowed at the situation. The ninja's are playing, in a dark room, surrounded by an unhealthy snack called 'pizza'
These boys Irene shook her head at the boy's unhealthy habit, but found herself leaning against the doorframe and watch as Master Wu silently sneaking to the tv and unplugging it
The ninja groaned simultaneously at the loss of their game
"Aw, man!" Cole groaned as him and Jay stood up in shock
"What? What happened?!" Jay whined
"It took us three hours to get there!" Cole whined together with Jay as they plump themselves back to their sitting position
"Why would you do that? Why?" Jay whined and accused, glaring at Master Wu with the others whining
"Just because Lord Garmadon escaped through a vortex doesn't mean he won't return one day for the Golden Weapons of Spinjitzu" Master Wu reminded
"But Sensei Wu, ever since he's been gone, Ninjago has had nothing but peace" Zane said, as Jay agreed
"Yeah, peace is boring. There's no one to save, there's nothing to do" Jay said as Cole lay on the floor covered with mattresses with his arm behind his head
"We can train tomorrow" Cole suggested
"Never put off until tomorrow what can be done today" Master Wu said softly, a quote that will have to be buried into the ninja's mind in the near future
Irene glances at the other three ninja, seeing their face of conflict and deep thought, it seems that they are comprehending that quote. However their minds are not well trained enough to understand, but they will in the near future
"Well, I was gonna eat this pizza tomorrow, so if that's the case..." Cole trailed off while holding a pizza he grabbed that was laying on the floor, and attempted to take a bite
Irene's face twisted in slight disgust as she glared at the pizza
"No pizza for you!" Master Wu exclaimed as he spin and thankfully saved Cole's stomachache by kicking the pizza away from Cole's grasp
The pizza landed on the floor outside the room on the hallway where the shoji was open, with Irene almost getting hit by the pizza if she did not step to the side
Cole turned to the direction of the pizza, only to see a figure standing behind his head, he turned and connected eyes with the familiar warmth of a grey stone
Irene smiles, picking the pizza and the other trash that lays on the corner and shoving it in a trash bag she got from her 'Space Inventory'
"In order to reach your full potential, you must train" Master Wu added
"Uh, remember when we did a little thing called the Tornado of Creation? I thought that was pretty insane" Kai started, smiling confidently as if it's an achievement worth dying for
"Oh. You four have merely scratched the surface of your full potential. There are still so many secrets you have yet to unlock. You haven't even begun to tap into what powers your golden weapons hold" Master Wu sighed and shook his head at his four hopeless students who were casually laying on the floor minding their own business and barely listening to his words
Irene's eyebrows furrowed as she grabbed a pizza that is being heated by Kai's Sword of Fire
Seriously? She shook her head in a disrespectful way the ninja used the weapons
"You wanna talk secret powers? Check this out" Cole grabbed his Scythe of Quakes and used it to plug the tv on so they can resume their game
"Don't worry, Master. We will be ready when Lord Garmadon returns" Zane reassured
Master Wu sighed as Irene groaned, taking out the same small stick she used to whack their heads days ago
"Weapons are weapons. They are used to fight and protect. Not to be used as something...disrespectful" Irene said lowly, the temperature dropping a bit as the four ninja slowly turned to Irene who stood behind them
"Also, show respect to your sensei and listen to his scolding, because if I even caught all of you ignoring his lesson..." Her face darkens as the ninja tremble on their spot
Before she could continue her plan, she felt Nya's aura running towards the room. She stopped activating her 'Intimidating' skill at the same time Nya went in the room, panting
"Guys, Lord Garmadon, he's returned! He was spotted approaching Jamanakai Village!"
Irene's eyes widened as she recalls this familiar episode. It's the start of the show, then it means that...Lloyd!
There was chaos, the ninja were tripping at each other to prepare themselves for the battle as Nya stared at them with a look of deadpan at their reaction
Irene contemplated for a second before she turned to Master Wu
"Elder Wu, can I come? There could be some victims that need medical attention" She asked as Master Wu stared at her and nodded
"You may, but be careful" He agreed. Irene smiles and hugs Nya who overheard their short conversation and she follows the ninja
She secretly grabbed a cloak from her 'Space Inventory' and covered herself. She is wearing her usual outfit, except the light yellow cardigan that she hid in her skill
She follows the ninja as they run on the stairs that are connected to multiple gates below where that dragon occupies with Master Wu following her from behind
Irene giggles when Cole dropped his Scythe of Quakes when he jumped on his dragon he named 'Rocky'
Rocky was thrilled to see Irene that the dragon eagerly nuzzled his snout to her awaiting hand. Irene laughs, pinching Rocky's cheek and gingerly picking the Scythe of Quakes to hand it to Cole who was watching the interaction between the two
"Wanna ride with me once?" Cole suggested as Irene chuckled
"I would love to, but what about my brother?"
"He can live" Cole simply answers which erupt a series of giggles from Irene who recalls the glares that her brother would send at any boys who were close in her safe circle
{Please? Just this once} Rocky rumbles, nuzzling onto Irene's chest, his eyes pleading. Irene smiles at the dragon's request and nodded
"Okay then, I'll help him first then I'll come back" Irene said as she hurriedly went to her brother's dragon gate
"Sweet!...Great job Rocky" Cole cheered, patting Rocky who confidently puffed his chest
Irene saw her brother attempting to jump on 'Wisp', his lightning dragon but ended up face planting on the ground for jumping too much and not calculating the distance of his leap
"Are you okay?" Irene asked softly as she helped Jay stand up. Jay nodded with a groan
Irene helped Jay sit on his saddle seat behind Wisp's back. Jay, who found her walking away from him, stared at her in confusion. Irene would normally sit with him
"Where are you going?" Irene pointed at Cole's gate
"Cole invited me to travel with him for once, I could not deny it" Irene smiles sheepishly as Jay's face shadows
"What-" Before he could finish his sentence, Wisp flew off first followed by Zane's dragon 'Shard'
Rockey took off, flying towards Irene and lowering his body from where she is. Then without hesitation, she jumped, landing safely behind Cole who cheered at her stunt while Jay was screaming for her life as if he is the one jumping
