MATHILDE'S POV
I woke up from the noise outside. The bed I was in was different from the place Cardin had for the meantime,
He wasn't with me. After turning my head, I see familiar weapons that came from JNR, with mine leaning on the other side.
"How did I get here..." I hold my head feeling like I just hit it with something hard or like I fell on the floor.
".......Maki- MAKI-!?" I ran outside the door and gasped
"Yang...Weiss..." I can't really explain how I felt
But I miss my friend...I thought after that I could have been sent to Japan or Maki would be here.
I clenched my fists together and smiled at them, and let out a big sigh.
I don't know what else happened after having her meet the Headmaster,
"She's back to your world if you're worried about your friend... it seems like she had powers that belonged to this world..." Oscar walks up to me with his cane in hand, and I look away
I still... have opinions about the truth.
"It's good to see you too here Mattie, atleast our medical assistance is already covered." Weiss says, sitting on the table eating ramen
"Hey..." I walk to the dining room and notice that it's made in a specific manner
"Sit down and eat. You've been all over the place," I turned to Cardin and covered my mouth seeing his apron similar to Ren, but it's obviously a spare that he was forced to wear
I failed miserably laughing and holding his apron, reading it while he blushed.
"Knock that shit off!!" He screams at me
"I never thought that Pink would
look good on you!" I say, and Nora hugs me
"I GOT THE PICTURES!" She tells me, and I sweat drop.
I might need a new scroll.
"Well, I'm just glad that you weren't speaking the way we couldn't understand..." Ruby sighs in relief
"Well, you picked up quick of my cooking." I compliment Cardin that looked away
"Don't go taking all the credit. You nearly burned the pork slices!" Nora corrects him
"Forgive him, Nora. He has an ego." I smile, and they all continued to chat about their time in Beacon.
It has been a year...

Everyone in Japan knows I'm an Ajin, I wonder how my parents are doing...
Kei, I'm glad that I dont have to worry about anything since it confirms that im the one that was only sent here.
"Mattie?" I blink and see everyone look at me
"You seemed out of it." Ren points out
"We heard what happened, that you got possessed by someone...? And that you started speaking a language that Ozpin knew." Yang scratches her head
I look at all of them and then set down my chopsticks
"To say it bluntly...I'm not from this world..." I say to start
"Ozpin only told us that you were the same as him, being immortal and all." Jaune says, and I shake my head
"Mine is a more complicated situation... starting with that, a friend of mine was the one originally from this world. She was my best friend since we were children. She has the same old forgotten magic as Ozpin." I look at Oscar, who had been Ozpin listening in
"In my world, my kind Ajin, is a.....threat, as they say, but we look exactly like the same as the normal people, except that we Ajins do not die...which means suitable for human abusive experiments." I hold my hands together, and look at Cardin
"I had to fit in to hide from our government until I had to save my friend from a car crash and in my theory... may have triggered her to activate a spell to bring me here." I look at Yang and Ruby
"And then I opened my eyes, I was in that bullhead heading to Beacon and met you two..." I sigh out, looking at my food, no longer having the appetite,
"That's why you were being weird when we first met! When I met you the second time, you were toned down weird, but woah..." Yang says, amazed
"So you have people like you in your world with their own Fro's??!! That sounds really fun!" Nora tries to brighten the mood, but it's clear to me that the others knew something darker
"So the Immortality thing, would they just be born...or...?" Ruby stops her sentence
"To find out that a person is an Ajin, they must die first...in my country there were 2 officially documented but I wasn't one of them... after that incident and when my friend was possessed by the body with magic, she confirmed that I've been documented as an official Ajin." I say, and Cardin grips his fists together
"That story you told me..with what your parents did...were they real..." He asks
"... Yes." I say, and Ren had to walk out the door, and everyone was silent
I sigh, moving the back of my hair
And then clap my hands together.
"Cheer up, you guys! It might have been an accident, but it saved me from being a government test subject!! The past is the past, so don't get all moody for me!!" I say, and it elevated things a little
"Besides, it's not like my friend just can come here on command and bring you with her just so you could beat up my parents. My world is much more complicated and is much more equipped to handle a knucklehead like you." I say, looking at Cardin, who looks away
"I didn't say crap!" He says, and I poke his cheek while he's blushing
"Watching this is so weird..." Jaune says
"For the first time, you actually said something right..." Weiss sighs
"You two clearly don't see the vision." Yang smirks
And then Ozpin walks up to us, I still just look at him
"How long are you two staying? Maybe you'd like to come join us in our journey..." Ozpin says
"...Who the hell is this kid?" Cardin points at him, and a sweat dropped from my face,
"No, we will be going back from Beacon after I venture to Atlas-" I say but was cut off my Cardin
"You never told me that, What are you doing in Atlas anyway?" He asks, and I wish he understood to ask questions later, which drew suspicion to Ozpin towards me,
We both looked at each other, and I stood up,
Hiding information from each other won't solve the status of the future, pettiness, and ego aside
He is also the man who hid me behind even after all of those deaths caused by me.
"Headmaster, please trust me with the Relic and deliver it to the General, I fear that Havens' defense are...untrustworthy..." I tell him, and his eyes became wide
"What did you find? Are you saying that the Academy will be attacked?" He responded in english, causing the others to look at me
"Wait, what? Mattie, we're supposed to wait for Huntsmen to go get the Spring Maiden." Ruby says
"Yea, what are you saying? You can't get through the vault- wait-" Jaune stops himself
"Unless you are making Fro do it." Ozpin says and looks at me, still expecting an answer
"That is the plan. Yes, unlike all of you, I am immortal. And Fro and I travel quicker. Getting to Atlas will be easy with any means necessary...I do not wish to get any of you involved in a fight you won't be able to win." I say, and Ozpin looks down, thinking
"Not happening, whatever you're thinking or planning, it's not happening, not like you can keep up or anything, that pipsquek can easily throw you to the wall if she wanted to." Cardin says, pointing at Ruby, that glares at him offensively
"The threats that is the majority is still Grimm." I tell him
"What does Grimm have to do with this? Grimm or people or the general doesn't matter. You were out there on your own for how many days, and then Fro started killing you, and then you got possessed, I'm saying that you need someone to keep you in check." He says, and I rub my forehead
I was wrong. This would have been easier if I had kept my mouth shut.
"We were actually going to meet the Headmaster about the council agreeing to put up this mission. How about seeing how that goes before you think of something stupid, kid? " Qrow says, and I sigh
"You have a position of this part to make a decision along with us, Miss Loisel, I will put your suggestion in mind if it were to happen." And then Ozpin disappeared now, revealing Oscar
"Those idiots are probably on their own now with their job and stuff. It's just me unless you want me to pull them by their tail." Cardin looks at me
"The more the better -" I cut Ruby off
"Let's see this meeting first... What happened to coming without asking with those three?" I ask him
"Oh right, you weren't there - for some reason, they got their hands in some Huntsmen licenses and a job." Cardin says
"WHAT?!" The others exclaimed, and I look at Qrow
"That is something we'll talk with the Headmaster..." I say, and he nods in agreement

I had my weapon inspected by Ruby, and she is still amazed with how I can weild it without aura,
"Technically, it helps with Fro's lack of defense. She may be invisible to the eye, but a clean shot in the head I will be casting her again...there are things that she can't time right, like forgetting she can phase through it but she prefers dodging." I say, and Ruby nods, looking around
"She's not around if you're looking for her." I smile
"Say if I bring Fro into petal burst, do you think we'd be invisible?!" Ruby asks, and I sweat
"Ruby....Fro is a frog type of Ajin...she jumps high and far..." I sweat and pat her in the back
"Don't worry, I'm sure she'd be happy to give you a ride." I say, and she awes at the Haven Auditorium
We all entered the building to see Headmaster Lionhart, I then cast Fro to look around, but I kept my eye on him, to which he noticed,
I look at everyone and frown.
"Cardin, for whatever is going to happen... I want you to know that I love you..." I whisper, holding his hand while the both of us are at the very back
He didn't respond, but I could feel him looking at me and held my hand a little tighter, to which I did the same.
"...Thank you all..for coming... There... there seems to be more of you than the last time..." The Headmaster greets us, but from the way he's acting, I have a hunch that he doesn't know who Oscar is.
"Well, you know, the more the marier, so what's up with the council..." Qrow asks, and then I close my eyes, setting into Fro's perspective, and there was a floor underneath the building
I look around to see a possible entrance of it
"Mom?" Yang asks, and shots were fired towards a bird and then revealing itself to be a woman
"That's your mother...?" I ask Ruby, who shakes her head and points at Yang, I never thought they had separate mothers.
"Raven..." Ruby mutters, and everyone got their weapons out
"What is going on..." I ask, and the woman looks at me and then a Qrow
"If you're going to shoot me, shoot me. That was insulting." She says, walking down the stairs
She talks about making a choice, how Headmaster Lionhart looked at all the evidence he had, and made a decision.
I grip my weapon into its sheild and spear form.
But when I did, I was suddenly on the wall with a blade pierced to my chest.
Specifically to my heart.
"MATTIE!" I hear everyone scream, and I try to pry her hand off
"I've learned about you long enough." Raven then slashes the wall, showing a red orb that shot a fireball hitting Ruby
My breathing began to shake, seeing Cinder, Mercury, Emerald, and another girl.
"Hello boys and girls..." Cinder looks at everyone and then back at me
My sight slowly dimmed away, but I felt her take the blade off my chest as I fell on the floor regenerating.
"GET AWAY FROM HER!" I hear Cardin scream, and then Cinder pierced the blade to my brain, reviving me fully
"I thought... Salem wouldn't attack the Academy that sooner..." I mumble, and she smiles
I clenched my fists, looking up at her
There is no other choice.
