"Doctor ne ye kaha hai ki..." Saanvi pauses.

"Ki?" Akruti says impatiently.

"That we're pregnant." Saanvi says, a smile shooting up on her face. "Congratulations Akku tum masi ban ne waali ho!" Saanvi hugs Akruti.
(Congratulations Akku, you're going to become an auntie!)
"Chalo Akku, humare sone ka time ho gaya hai." Varun says.
(Come on Akku, it's time to for us to sleep.)

"Please don't stop tonight." Akruti whispers into his ear, pushing him away slightly and running away into the en-suite.
"Babe-urgh." Varun whimpers.
"Mmm, mommy likes to tease *moan*." Akruti says seductively.
"Babe don't do this." Varun whimpers even more.
"Babe let me get changed." Akruti says.

"Theek hai maa, pehli rasoi mein kya banau? Aapki aur Papa ki man pasand cheez kya hai? Aur jo meetha hai woh Varun ki pasand ka bana dungi." Akruti asks.
(Okay, mom, what should I make for my first meal? What is yours and Papa's favourite dish? And for the dessert I'll make Varun's favourite dish.)
"Mujhe toh bhindi bohot pasand hai aur Papa ko paneer, Varun ko toh.... tum jaanti ho na usse toh kya pasand hai, uss hissab se bana dena." Mrs Bharadwaj smiles, teasing Akruti.

"Haa woh Halwa. Theek maa. Aapka bohot shukriya." Akruti says as she touches Mrs Bharadwaj's feet for blessings.

"Tum banao mujhe kya mein toh sirf gale laga raha hoon aur kisi ne dekh bhi liya toh kya? Meri biwi hai todha sa pyaar toh kar sakta hoon na." Varun defends himself.

"Woh bahu-" Mrs Bharadwaj enters the kitchen.

"Maa-" Varun immediately backs away from Akruti.

"Lagta hai galat kamre mein aa gayi, oh yeh kitchen hai... Varun tumhara bedroom nahi. Bahu ko kyu sata rahe ho?" She says sternly.

"Beta hume bhi sikha dena." Mrs Bharadwaj smiles.
"Arrey mujhe bhi toh taste karne do." Varun says.
"Haa lo." Akruti serves him.
"Mmm, bohot tasty hai." Varun says.
"Itna tasty hai toh mujhe bhi chakne do." Akruti says.
