Reina was free, sure, free of the bonds that had encased her soul and caged her abilities; yet the mental scars that marred her mind were ones that she didn't ever think would go away. Refusing to face them in a rational way, she decided to go about things in the only way she had ever really known how; revenge.

Once healed, she swore she'd make Hell itself tremble—what she would do to her former captors, to her sister, would send the very world recoiling in disgust.

She just needed to ignore the fact that not everything she was fighting was external—for the demons that now plagued her mind would put up a valiant fight of their own, one she would most certainly attempt to dismiss.

But whether she could actually do so or not would be a battle in its own regard.
