After getting discharged from the hospital, Shehnaaz went to Advait's house with Sidharth.
"Shehnaaz are you sure? Tumhe lagta hai Advait humari help kar paayega?" Asked Sidharth stopping his car in front of Advait's house.
Shehnaaz thought for sometime and said, "I seriously don't know. Uske grandfather ko souls dikhayi dete the. Aur toh aur sirf woh hi tha jis ko mujhse bhi pehle feel hogaya tha ki humare ghar mein kuch hai. Uske diye hue tabeez ki wajah se main itne din uss ghar mein survive kar paayi. Main nahi jaanti woh humari kuch madat kar paayega yaa nahi lekin mujhe yakeen hai ki iss halat mein humein aage kya karna chahiye, yeh suggestion woh zaroor de paayega."
Sidharth nodded in yes and said, "I think you are right. Let's go."
They went to Advait's house and rang the doorbell. Advait opened the door and saw them. He immediately understood the reason of their arrival by just seeing their faces.
"Advait hum....."
Advait stopped Shehnaaz showing his hand and said, "Samajh gaya. It's about Sana, right?"
Both Sidharth and Shehnaaz nodded in yes but they wondered how he knew it.
"Advait beta, kaun hai?" Asked his father from inside.
"Papa don't worry. Mere colleagues hai. Office ke kaam se aaye hai." Replied Advait.
Then he looked at them and said, "Come inside. Mere room mein chal ke baat karte hai."
Sidharth and Shehnaaz nodded hearing that.
Advait took them to his room and closed the door.
After sometime...
"I'm sorry for your loss." Said Advait to Sidharth and Shehnaaz after hearing the whole story from them.
Shehnaaz looked down sadly while Sidharth kept his hand on her shoulder to give her strength.
Then he looked at Advait and said, "Main kabhi sapne mein bhi nahi soch sakta tha ki Sana humare saath aisa kuch karegi. Paata hai usse dukh pohucha hai hum dono ko saath dekh kar. Lekin aise humare bacche ko maar dena, apni hi behen ki jaan le ne ki koshish karna...... Aisi toh nahi thi meri Sana."
Advait sighed and said, "Sidharth woh tumhari Sana nahi hai. Woh ab ek atma hai, ek bhatak ti atma jo bas apna pyaar wapas paana chahti hai aur uske liye woh kuch bhi karegi, kisi bhi hadh tak jaayegi....... Haan tum dono chaho toh main aur tabeez de sakta hoon tumhe. Par yeh koi solution nahi hai. Sana ki atma ab pehle se bhi zyada khatarnak ban chuki hai. Itni si bhi galti matlab Shehnaaz ki zindagi ko daav par lagana."
"Nahi Advait. Main Shehnaaz ko ek aach tak nahi aane dunga. Kuch toh solution hoga iska."
"Hai solution." Said Advait. "Dekho Sana ki atma sirf uss ghar se judi hai. Toh tum dono agar woh ghar chhor do, Shehnaaz ki jaan ko koi khatra nahi hoga."
"Matlab hum woh ghar chhor de?" Asked Shehnaaz.
"Yeh pehla option hai. Par iss se kya hoga? Sana ki atma saalon tak bhatakti rahegi, tadapti rahegi. Mere khayal se yeh sahi nahi hai. Hum sab ko mil ke usse mukti dilani chahiye."
"Mukti hum kaise dila sakte hai uski atma ko?" Asked Sidharth.
Advait thought for a while and then asked, "Ek baat baataiye. Sana ke marne ke baad uske last rites thik se hue the na?"
Sidharth and Shehnaaz nodded in yes.
"Phir bhi uski atma ko mukti nahi mili. Matlab kuch aisa hai jo usse mukt nahi hone de raha. Sayad badla jo woh Shehnaaz se lena chahti hai uske Pati ko chheen ne ke liye. Yaa phir kuch aur..... Jo bhi ho, agar usse mukti dilani hai toh hum sabko uss ghar mein jaa ke waha ek puja rakhni hogi. Sana ki mukti ke liye." He said further.
"Iss puja mein koi khatra......"
Advait didn't let Sidharth finish and said, "Hai. Iss puja mein aap dono ka hona zaroori hai. Aur Shehnaaz uss ghar mein gayi toh definitely usse khatra toh hai."
"Phir koi zaroorat nahi hai puja rakhne ki." Said Sidharth. "Pehla option hi thik hai. Hum woh ghar chhor denge."
Shehnaaz, who was silent since a long time, finally said, "Nahi Sidharth. Yeh puja toh hum rakhenge. Main dilaungi apni Behen ko mukti."
"Shehnaaz have you gone crazy?" Asked Sidharth with disbelief.
"Main jo bhi keh rahi hoon, soch samajh kar hi keh rahi hoon Sidharth. Sana Behen hai meri. Main uski atma ko aise hi saalon tak bhatak ne ke liye nahi chhor sakti. Main chahti hoon uski atma ko mukti mile."
"Aur agar iss puja ke dauran tumhe kuch ho gaya toh? Why don't you understand? I can't lose you. Tumhari life se zyada mere liye kuch bhi important nahi hai."
"Par mere liye hai. Meri khud ki life se zyada important hai apni Behen ki atma ko mukti dilana." Said Shehnaaz making Sidharth quiet. He understood that she would do this even at the cost of her own life.
Shehnaaz looked at Advait and said, "Advait tum baatao. Humein kya karna hoga iss puja ke liye? I want every single detail."
"Honestly main zyada nahi jaanta iss puja ke baare mein." Replied Advait. "Mere DadaJi ke paas yeh power thi. Woh atmayo ko dekh sakte the, agar kisi ke upar kisi atma ka saaya hota tha toh just touch kar ke baata sakte the. Yaaha tak unhe yeh bhi paata tha bhatakti atmayon ko mukti kaise dilate hai. Unn hi ke muh se maine iss puja ke baare mein suna tha. Lekin ek baar kisi gusse se bhari hui atma ko mukti dilate waqt unki jaan chali gayi. DadaJi ke yeh powers mere andar bhi hai. Iss hi liye mujhe pehle din hi paata chal chuka tha Shehnaaz ke upar kisi atma ka bura saaya hai. Bachpan mein jab Papa ko yeh baat baataya ki mere andar Dadaji ke powers hai toh woh darr gaye. Woh nahi chahte the ki main DadaJi ke raaste pe chalu. Isliye maine kabhi inn sab ko le ke studies nahi kiyi aur na hi kabhi koi experiment. Isliye sayad main yeh puja na kar paau."
"Tum nahi karoge toh aur kaun karega?" Asked Sidharth.
Advait paused for a while and said, "Mere Chachu. Meri tarah unke paas bhi DadaJi ke powers hai. Unhone tay kiya tha ki woh DadaJi ki legacy ko aage badhayenge. Isliye Papa ne unse rishta tod diya. Par mujhe pata hai woh kaha rehte hai. And I know woh tum dono ki help zaroor karenge."
"Hum kab mil sakte hai unse?" Asked Shehnaaz.
"Abhi raat hone wali hai aur raat ko woh kisi se nahi milte. Kal subah mil sakte hai hum." Replied Advait to which they nodded.
"Ok then. I think we should leave now." Said Sidharth and they both stood up.
"Kaha jaaoge?" Asked Advait.
Sidharth and Shehnaaz looked at each other.
Then Sidharth said, "Kar lenge kuch manage. Kuch dino ke liye kisi hotel mein ruk jaayenge."
Advait smiled and said, "Uski zaroorat nahi hai. Jab tak sab kuch thik nahi ho jaata, tum dono mere ghar mein ruk sakte ho. Main Papa ko kuch bahana bana dunga."
Sidharth and Shehnaaz agreed as it was the safest place for them to stay.
That night, Advait made them stay at their guest room. When Sidharth entered the room, he saw Shehnaaz talking on phone, standing near the window.
"Haan Mummy sab thik hai..... Haan ultrasound karwaya tha..... Woh mera phone kharab hogaya tha aur Sidharth busy the, isliye sayad nahi laga hoga.......hmm..... Baby thik hai...."
Shehnaaz kept her hand on her tummy and teardrops fell from her eyes remembering about her baby. It was being difficult for her to talk to her mother. Her voice was getting chocked. She was not being able to hide her pain anymore.
"Hmm...... Mummy mujhe bohut neend aa rahi hai..... Haan aap bhi apna khayal rakhna...... Good night."
Saying that Shehnaaz hanged up and started crying silently.
Sidharth went close to her and asked, "Tumne Mummy ko nahi bataya miscarriage ke baare mein?"
Shehnaaz nodded her negatively and said crying, "Nahi baata paayi Sidharth. Agar baata ti toh saara sach baata na padhta. Aur abhi main yeh sab baata ke unko pareshan nahi kar sakti. Ek baar sab kuch thik ho jaaye, phir dekhte hai."
Sidharth wiped her tears lovingly and then gave her a tight hug providing her the warmth and comfort she needed.
Shehnaaz wrapped her both hands around his back and buried her face in his chest.
"Humare hone wale Bacche ke saath aisa kyu hua Sidharth? Woh iss duniya mein aane se pehle hi humse dur kyu chala gaya? Yeh jo bhi ho raha hai iss mein uski toh koi galti nahi thi. Phir usko itna badi sazah kyu mili?" Said Shehnaaz crying.
"Sayad yeh hi likha tha humari kismat mein." Said Sidharth sadly. "Par woh jaha kahi bhi hoga, apni Mumma ko dekh ke proud feel kar raha hoga, kaise woh usse bachane ke liye akhir tak ladi. Aur agar Bhagwan ne chaha toh woh humare paas zaroor wapas aayega."
Shehnaaz broke the hug and asked looking at Sidharth with teary eyes, "Sach?"
Sidharth nodded in yes and gave a long kiss on her forehead.
"Abhi so jaate hai. Saamne bohut badi ladai hai jo humein jeetni hai." Said Sidharth further to which Shehnaaz nodded in yes.
They went to the bed and lied cuddling with each other.
"Sidharth! Hum Sana ko mukti dilane mein kamiyab toh honge na?" Asked Shehnaaz.
"Zaroor honge." Said Sidharth hugging Shehnaaz more tightly. Though he was giving her strength, from inside he was very much scared. He was scared to lose Shehnaaz who had already taken a big risk by agreeing for the 'puja'.
"Chahe jo ho jaaye, main Shehnaaz ko kuch nahi hone dunga. Kuch bhi nahi." He said in his mind and looked at Shehnaaz who had fallen asleep by then.
He chuckled seeing her sleeping face and pecked her lips.
Soon he also fell asleep.
Next Day...
Sidharth, Shehnaaz and Advait came in front of a small, broken house.
"Yeh hi hai tumhare Chachu ka ghar?" Asked Sidharth pointing towards the house.
"Haan. Asal mein unhone apni puri zindagi atmayon ke upar tarah tarah ke researches karne mein guzar diyi. Isliye khud life mein kabhi thik se settle nahi ho paaye." Said Advait. "Anyway, andar chalte hai."
Advait knocked at the door and his uncle opened the door. As soon as Sidharth saw him, he became shocked. It was the same man who came in front of his car that night. Now he understood the meaning of his words. That night he was talking about Sana.
"Chachu mujhe pehchana? Main Advait." Said Advait as he was meeting his uncle after a long time. There was a chance that he might not recognise him.
But his uncle didn't reply to him and looked at Sidharth and Shehnaaz.
He immediately widened his eyes and said, "Maar degi... Maar degi tumhe.... Woh bohut gusse mein hai..... Bhaag jaao, bhaag jaao."
"Chachu main inn ko aap hi se milane laaya tha. Hum andar aaye?" Said Advait.
His uncle stayed silent for sometime and then said, "Aa jaao.... Aa jaao...."
They all went inside. After that Advait slowly explained everything to him.
"Sirf aap hi hai jo yeh puja kar sakte hai. Please inki madat kar di jiye." Said Advait at last.
"Padso amavasya ki raat hai. Kisi bhi atma ki mukti ka sab se accha samay. Padso raat ko hum yeh puja rakhenge. Lekin......"
Advait's uncle stopped suddenly.
"Lekin kya?" Asked Shehnaaz.
"Maut aa sakti hai..... Tujh pe." Said Advait's uncle pointing his finger towards Shehnaaz.
Sidharth got scared hearing that and held Shehnaaz's hands tightly.
But Shehnaaz didn't get scared and said bravely, "Paata hai."
"Phir bhi tu yeh chahti hai?" He asked once again.
"Haan. Mujhe bas apni Behen ko mukti dilani hai. Kisi bhi haal mein." Said Shehnaaz firmly.
"Toh thik hai. Puja ki taiyari suru kar do. Padso raat ko milte hai. Uss hi ghar mein." Said Advait's uncle and they all prepared themselves.
