"Ah hyung!", Jimin hissed as he gritted his teeth.
"Will it be fine?", Yoongi asked inspecting the huge cut that Jin is stitching now.
Jimin got this cut from the sword while practicing on his right side.
"It will take some time to heal. You should be careful Jimin", Jin said while glaring at Jimin.
"Don't do that hyung. It's an accident", Yoongi saved Jimin from his hyung.
Jin sighed as he continued stitching the wound.
"Why is the pain killer not working yet?", Hobi asked.
"It will take some time", Jin said as he finished his work.
"Jimin-ah, how are you feeling now?", Hobi asked as he held Jimin's face.
"Fine, hyung. The pain is reducing", Jimin said.
"Don't butter us. Take proper rest today", Yoongi said as he turned the Tv on.
They were in Jimin's room.
Taehyung and Jungkook were still sleeping.
Yuri and Aera were in the kitchen baking.
Hanam was making breakfast.
They didn't know about what's happening with Jimin.
"Good morning", A grumpy Namjoon came in.
He heard all the three ladies wishing him back.
"Sir, I'll help you", Hanam came to help but he dismissed her.
Aera and Yuri were busy in decorating.
He smiled and started boiling water for his morning coffee.
As the water was boiling, he was taking out the coffee powder.
The jar slipped from his hand, in the attempt to catch it, he clumsily disturb the boiling water, making the kettle fall.
Something happened that he didn't want to imagine.
The boiling hot water fell on Aera's left foot as she screamed out loud.
"Oppa!!", she lost her balance but Yuri held her.
Everything appeared in slow motion to Namjoon.
"Baby, Jin!!! Yoongi!! Come fast!", Yuri held the sobbing Aera in her arms.
Hanam rushed to the sink with a tub.
Namjoon came back to his senses as he rushed to Aera.
He lifted her up and rushed to the dining room.
He made her sit on a chair as Hanam rushed in with the water.
Yuri was forcing Aera to keep her badly burnt feet in the water.
"Please... please it hurts", Aera cried while holding Yuri's hand.
"No baby", Yuri shook her head as she started tearing up.
Everyone rushed downstairs as their heart stopped.
"Ice. GET ME SOME ICE", Jin rushed to his sister.
Jungkook ran into the kitchen.
"Princess", he held Aera's shoulder as she was already curled up in pain, she was sobbing badly.
"Look here, kitten", Yoongi knelt infront of her.
Jin forced her to look up.
Their felt their breathing hitch.
The pain in her face made them feel like dying.
"H-hyung", Jungkook ran in with ice, his hands trembling and wiping his tears.
"Oppa! Oppa! Please make it stop, oppa", she cried out.
Yoongi started to mix the ice in the water.
"Ahh!", She tried to take her foot out but Jin held it tight.
"Tae, get my bag", Jin said as Taehyung ran upstairs.
"Breath, baby", Jimin said as Hobi went close to her and hugged her close to him.
"Can you listen to oppa? Follow my breathing", Hobi said as she tried her best to follow his actions.
Tae came back with Jin's bag, handed it over to him and leaned against a wall, unable to see her in this state.
Only her cries could be heard throughout the room.
"What is this hyung?", Jungkook asked as he saw him preparing some injection.
"Local anaesthesia", Jin said as he instructed Yoongi to hold her leg tight.
"Oppa please", Aera cried as Hobi hugged her tight burying her head in his torso.
She cried out loud as he injected it a little above her ankle.
"That's it, it's done, baby. Good girl", Hobi patted her head as she tried to calm herself down.
"Give her some water and something to eat. Jungkook, come here. Get this medicine", Jin wrote the prescription and gave it to Jungkook who wiped his tears and nodded his head.
He went out of the house as Hanam went into the kitchen to get her food.
"Here, baby", Jimin gave her a glass of water.
Her hands were shaking as she himself fed her and wiped her mouth.
"Yuri, go and have breakfast. You said right, there's something important today", Jin said sniffling.
"I'm fine. Work can wait", she stood up.
She went towards Namjoon, who was standing there like a statue.
"Joon", she touched his shoulder.
He came out of his trance.
He looked at Aera for the last time and went out of the room.
"O-oppa", Aera mumbled.
"Yes princess?", Jin smiled making her smile a little.
"The pain is reducing", she leaned forward and hugged him.
"I'm glad", he mumbled kissing her head multiple times.
Yoongi wiped her face with tissues and kissed her forehead.
"Joonie oppa is so hurt", her eyes turned glossy again.
Jin wiped her tears as he mumbled, "He'll be fine once you are fine".
"Tae", Yoongi called him as Tae wiped his tears and caressed her head.
"Babygirl, anything else hurts?", he asked.
Everyone looked at her.
She shook her head.
"Sir", Hanam came in with the food.
"It's enough", Jin said as Yoongi nodded his head and removed her leg from the water tub.
Hobi started feeding her while Yoongi ordered Jimin to eat too as he needed to take medicines.
Jin went upstairs to Joon's room.
The room was almost destroyed.
Namjoon sat there with his eyes red.
"Her screams and cries still echoes in my ear. It must have hurt like hell, right hyung?", He asked.
Jin navigated his way through the broken things and say beside him.
"A lot. The burn is bad. And moreover it's on her feet where there are so many nerve endings", Jin said.
"I should've got it. Not her", Namjoon yelled with anger.
"No one should get it. But it happened anyways. Namjoon, she'll be fine. Don't worry and stop blaming yourself", Jin pulled Namjoon for a hug.
"H-hyung, please make sure it didn't leave a scar on her", He asked with teary eyes.
"I'll try my best", Jin said as he stood up.
"Let me be alone", Namjoon said.
"I'll arrange the guest room for you and send the food there", Jin said as he went out.
By the time Jin reached there, Jungkook was already there with everything he asked for.
Yoongi had already removed her anklets as it could disturb her feet.
"I'll apply this so it will prevent infection", He smiled at Aera as she smiled back and let him do his work.
It was around night.
No one went to work.
The atmosphere was gloomy.
They made Aera sleep and Jimin have his rest.
Namjoon still didn't face anyone.
He was standing in the balcony of the guest room.
He heard the room door open.
He rushed in to hold Aera in his arms.
"Little one, how did you come here?", He asked worried as he made her sit on the bed and knelt in front of her.
"Yoongi oppa dropped me here. He's worried about you. Everyone is", She cupped his face in her hands.
He looked through her eyes as his eyes turned glossy.
A lone tear escaped his eyes.
One after another, he started crying pulling her in his embrace.
"I'm sorry. So sorry. Forgive me, Aera", he kissed her head and forehead while crying.
"Oppa, please stop it. It was not your fault in anyway", she wiped his tears as he shook his head.
"No. What if something worse happened huh?", He asked looking at her.
It broke her heart.
"Oppa", she smiled wiping his tears and pulling him in her embrace.
She patted his back as she let him relax in her heart beat.
"Nothing happened to me right? See, I'm fine and good. This will heal in a few days. Then I'll challenge you for a hockey match along with kookie oppa", she smiled as he nodded his head.
"Now smile for me. I want to see your dimples", she said ruffling his hair.
He smiled as his dimples peeked out.
Without wasting a second, she kissed his dimples, making him shy.
She giggled and hugged him tight.
"Glad to see my cutie oppa back", she said with a wink.
A knock was heard.
"Come in", Namjoon said as he stood up.
Jin came in with food ates and her medicines.
"Figured out you both need some alone time", he kept everything on the table.
He kissed her head and inspected her foot.
Yoongi came in with her clothes.
He kept them on the bed, kissed her cheek, gave Namjoon a shoulder squeeze and went out.
"If you need any help, call me", Jin said as he went out.
Namjoon brought the bean bag infront of her and sat there taking the food plates.
They had their dinner, conversing with each other.
After dinner he kept the plates away and wiped her hands and mouth.
"Why did hyung get these clothes here?", He asked.
"I asked him", she said.
"Yeah shorts will be better instead of pants. Call me if you need help" he nodded his head as he went inside his closet to change.
He came back with the matching shorts, making her laugh.
He discarded her pants and bra in the laundry.
"Take this", he gave her medicines.
She had them finally after throwing a little tantrum.
He made her lay down and kept her burnt foot on a soft pillow.
She nodded her head in satisfaction.
He laid beside her.
She cuddled with him making him relaxed.
He patted her back, lulling her to sleep while he was wide awake.
He occassionally kissed her head to calm himself down.
"I promise to be better", he said.
It was morning when Namjoon's sleep was broken by the knocking on his door.
He woke up groggily and opened the door in a half sleepy state, ready to curse out his brothers.
When he opened the door his eyes widened as he his behind the door shyly as he was shirtless.
Lily stood there worried.
"How is she?", she asked.
"Fine, uh, can you give me a moment?", he asked scratching his neck.
She said yes.
He closed the door a little and rushed in to cover up his sister properly and pulled over a shirt for himself.
He opened the door again as he smiled and welcomed her in.
Lily sat beside Aera as she caressed her head.
"You are fine, right?", she asked.
Namjoon hummed.
"I took a leave today. We all three will enjoy ourselves", Lily smiled as Namjoon nodded his head.
"Thank you", he said with a smile.
