Jazz transformed with Bumblebee as Sam, Mikaela, and Rover ran inside. He looked at Bumblebee,
"Do...do you really think she forgot everything?"
Bumblebee looked over at the house before looking back at Jazz,
"I hope not,"
Jazz sighed and sat down,
"I...I don't think I can handle her forgetting me, Bee,"
Bumblebee sat down next to him and put a servo on his leg,
"What you two have...she will never forget,"
Jazz looked over at him and sighed,
"Our bond isn't that strong...look over there, Barricade is here before us."
Bumblebee sighed and looked over at the police car,
"Why not try talking to him?"
Jazz grumbled and shook his head,
"No,"
Bumblebee rolled his optics,
"You should,"
Jazz shook his head,
"I don't want to,"
They heard cars rumble and spotted the twins speeding over to them and quickly transformed,
"Where is Aero?"
Jazz and Bumblebee stood up and placed their servos on the twin's shoulders,
"Sunstreaker, Sideswipe, we can't go inside yet,"
Sunstreaker frowned,
"She's confused,"
Sideswipe nodded,
"And scared because she's confused,"
Tex climbed up onto Sideswipe's shoulder and crossed his arms,
"I want to see my mom,"
Jazz sighed and picked up Tex,
"I know, Tex, I do too...but we were all told to stay here and wait,"
Tex grumbled and looked over at Barricade's alt-mode,
"So why can Barricade go inside using his holo-form?"
Jazz's optics widened in shock,
"He what?!"
Tex nodded,
"Yeah, he's inside talking to my mom right now. She's calmed down a lil bit, but she's still confused,"
Sunstreaker glared at the house,
"We should be in there with her,"
Bumblebee sighed,
"We were told by Will and Ratchet not to go inside until they tell her and come out to talk to us. We technically should not be in our regular form,"
Sideswipe sighed,
"Maybe not...but I just want our sister back with us,"
Jazz sighed,
"I want her back, too,"
Ironhide drove over to them and grumbled,
"You four idiots better transform back. I hear Will coming,"
They all grumbled in protest but quickly transformed back with Tex now in Jazz's driver's seat. Jazz felt his spark drop when he spotted Barricade leading Mazikeen outside, quickly followed by the group of humans. Mazikeen's eyes went to Sunstreaker and Sideswipe first, and she glanced up at Barricade and whispered something to him,
"Who are they?"
Barricade chuckled,
"You can answer that yourself,"
Mazikeen frowned in confusion but shrugged,
"Okay, I know they are Autobots, but...they are different too,"
Sam laughed,
"Oh, you got no idea, come on sis, I want you to meet someone,"
He quickly grabbed Mazikeen and dragged her over to Bumblebee,
"Maze, this is Bumblebee. He was my guardian for a couple of years after Mission City,"
Bumblebee transformed and knelt down in front of her and waved his hand to her,
"Hello, Maze,"
Mazikeen's eyes brightened,
"Hi Bee! Glad to see you got your legs back,"
Bumblebee winced at the distant memory but shrugged it off,
"Thank you, happy to see you back,"
Mazikeen patted his leg,
"How much trouble has Sammy gotten himself into?"
Sam gasped,
"What the fuck?!"
Bumblebee chuckled,
"A lot,"
Mazikeen glanced at her brother,
"I can believe that. But thank you for protecting him, Bee. I owe you one,"
Bumblebee shook his head and put his servo next to her,
"Family helps out family,"
Mazikeen smiled brightly at him and nodded,
"You got that right,"
Mikaela smirked,
"Bee saved our skins a bunch of times. Sam over here got us back into two other battles,"
Mazikeen stared at her brother,
"What the fuck Sammy,"
Sam raised his hands in defense,
"Hey! Trouble follows me like it does you,"
Mazikeen sighs,
"It runs in the family, I guess,"
Tex immediately opened Jazz's door, even after Jazz protested and ran over to his mom, jumping onto her,
"Maze!"
Mazikeen laughed and hugged him back,
"Hello, lil one. What's your name?"
Tex felt pain flow through him at the question, and Mazikeen frowned as she felt it,
"You okay?"
Tex nodded slowly,
"Y-Yeah...I guess...it's just weird,"
"What is?"
Tex sighed and glanced over at Jazz,
"I haven't seen you in a while, and I'm just happy you are back,"
Mazikeen chuckled and patted his head,
"Happy to be back,"
Everyone looked at the exchange in grief, knowing that Mazikeen didn't recognize her son, but he knew her. Tex smiled at her,
"My name is Tex. I'm still young, but I can beat anyone up,"
Mazikeen chuckled and smirked at him,
"I definitely believe you there. How old are you?"
"Three,"
Mazikeen felt a pull at her heart and nodded at him,
"Very big. I betcha that Annie loves playing with you,"
Tex smiled at her and nodded,
"Yep, every time we visited Sarah and Will, Annie and I did things together,"
Athena sighed sadly at walked over to the two,
"Come on, Tex, let's go see Annie,"
Tex frowned and sighed,
"Okay, okay, grown-up talk stuff, yeah yeah,"
Mazikeen chuckled at his reaction and watched as the two left. Mazikeen glanced at Barricade,
"Wh-"
Barricade shook her head,
"That is a long story,"
Mazikeen slowly nodded,
"Okayyy,"
Ironhide was first to transform, and he knelt down in front of Mazikeen,
"I'm Ironhide,"
Mazikeen smiled brightly at him,
"I remember! You showed me your big cannons, and I told you I would show you mine after. I don't have any of my shit with me right now. Sarah banned my weapons from her house, so they are still in the shed."
Ironhide chuckled and smiled at her,
"I believe you. You showed me all of them a while ago,"
Mazikeen frowned, and she nodded,
"Yeah...I guess I did,"
Ironhide put his servo down next to her and patted her head,
"Don't worry, Maze. You will remember soon enough,"
Mazikeen sighed and crossed her arms,
"I'm not a fan of everyone knowing me more than I know them,"
Athena laughed,
"Suck it up,"
Mazikeen rolled her eyes and grabbed something from her pocket,
"Hey! I still keep my bingo in my pocket!"
Athena's eyes widened, and she immediately tackled Mazikeen,
"NO!"
Mazikeen laughed,
"Get off of me!"
Sarah sighed,
"Aura,"
Athena pouted but got off of her and helped Mazikeen up,
"Now. Let's see what we got here,"
Mazikeen opened up the card, and her eyes widened in shock,
"YOU FELL OUT OF A TWENTY FOOT BUILDING?!"
Athena winced,
"M-"
"YOU HAVE A ROBOT SPOUSE?!!!!"
Athena's eyes widened,
"YOU HAVE THAT IN YOUR BINGO CARD?!"
Mazikeen looked at her in shock,
"Who the fuck are you dating?!"
Athena winced and blushed,
"His name is Bluestreak...don't worry, you already threatened him,"
Mazikeen narrowed her eyes,
"Time to do it again!"
Athena groaned,
"May!"
Mazikeen glared at her, and then Sunstreaker and Sideswipe decided they had enough and transformed,
"Hi!"
"Hello,"
Mazikeen's eyes narrowed at them, and she stepped closer,
"What are your names?"
"I'm Sideswipe,"
"Sunstreaker,"
Mazikeen slowly nodded her head,
"How did we meet?"
Sideswipe smiled at her,
"We met cuz you randomly appeared out of thin air during a battle we were having with the Decepticons. We took you back to base after learning you were working with the Autobots,"
Mazikeen nodded and looked at Sunstreaker,
"You're both sad...why?"
Sunstreaker and Sideswipe shared a pained look before kneeling down in front of her,
"We almost lost our sister. She came back...but she's not the same,"
Mazikeen felt a tug at her heart but ignored it,
"Well, what are the steps for you Cybertronians for grief? Is it similar to humans? Just tell your sister that you will always be there for her, no matter what's going on with her,"
Sideswipe and Sunstreaker felt their spark pull at them painfully before they felt Rosalyn's presence trying to calm them down. Sunstreaker nodded his head,
"She knows,"
Sideswipe smiled sadly and nodded,
"She always knows no matter where she is. We will always have her back,"
Mazikeen smiled brightly at them and nodded,
"She's very lucky to have you as her brothers,"
Mikaela couldn't take it anymore and pulled her over,
"Come on, one more to introduce,"
Mazikeen slowly nodded,
"Alright, who?"
Mikaela stopped in front of Jazz,
"Maze, this is Jazz, the one you saved,"
Jazz slowly transformed and knelt down in front of her with a small smile,
"Hello, lil lady,"
Mazikeen felt her heart stop at seeing him, but she smiled,
"Hi, Jazz,"
"How are you feeling?"
Mazikeen shrugged,
"As good as I can for forgetting five years of my life,"
Jazz chuckled,
"Yeah, that doesn't sound that fun,"
Mazikeen smiled,
"Yep, don't recommend it. Are you okay? You almost got offlined by Megatron,"
Jazz smirked and crossed his arms,
"Gonna take more than Megatron to take me down,"
Mazikeen smirked,
"Oh yeah? Have you seen Phoenix? I can so take you down,"
Jazz's optics brightened under his visor,
"Oh yeah? That a challenge Lil M?"
Mazikeen nodded her head,
"Hell yeah, it is,"
Will sighed,
"Mynx, wait until you are fully cleared before you start challenging everyone,"
Mazikeen glanced at Will and shrugged,
"Hey! I have a lot of catching up to do. Five years of it,"
Sam laughed,
"Oh, you are sure in for a treat then,"
Mazikeen tilted her head,
"How so?"
Sam smirked,
"Got a little surprise for you. She just texted me saying she's almost here,"
Will groaned,
"I thought I told you that she can't be coming so soon,"
Mikaela smirked,
"It's adorable that you think that's going to stop either of them."
Mazikeen narrowed her eyes,
"What are you talking about?"
Sunstreaker laughed,
"You will just have to figure that out yourself,"
Mazikeen narrowed her eyes at them but turned back to Jazz,
"Do you know what they are talking about?"
Jazz raised his servos in defense,
"I am staying out of the family stuff,"
Mazikeen looked over at Sam in realization,
"Mom and Dad?"
Sam pulled her into a small hug,
"Don't worry about them, they are safe,"
Mazikeen sighed in relief,
"Good."
They heard the roar of an engine and turned to see Ratchet and Optimus pulling up. Ratchet's doors opened, and Epps and Fig came sprinting out,
"MYNX!"
Mazikeen smiled in relief,
"Epps! Figgle!"
She hugged them tightly as the two sighed into the hug. A weight lifted off them as they held their sister. She pulled away and smirked at them,
"You both look like you aged a million years!"
Fig gasped dramatically and slapped her arm,
"How dare you?! Not OUR fault you lost five years of your memory,"
Mazikeen chuckled and glanced between the two,
"I missed a lot, huh,"
Epps sighed and wrapped an arm around her shoulder,
"You did, kid, but we will help you through this healing process,"
Fig smirked,
"But first! We got a little surprise for you, part two!"
Mazikeen frowned in confusion,
"Part two?"
Mazikeen heard a door open and close and turned to see Alexandra getting out of Optimus's alt-mode with hesitance,
"Alex?"
Alexandra smiled softly at her,
"Hey, cousin,"
Mazikeen threw her arms around her in a hug,
"You idiot, why did you let us think you were dead?"
Alexandra sighed,
"I was in a coma for a hot sec. But I'm back now, and I have something that belongs to you,"
Mazikeen let go of her cousin and frowned,
"What is it?"
Alexandra smiled and held out Phoenix's device,
"Phoenix!"
She immediately grabbed the device and pressed the button to deploy her. Mazikeen's eyes brightened at seeing Phoenix alright,
"Phew, it worked!"
Phoenix laughed and crossed her arms,
"Of course I worked, you created me,"
Mazikeen chuckled and looked at her,
"Hey, you can explain everything that has happened to me!"
Ratchet immediately transformed and glared at her,
"Ep ep ep, we don't know how that could affect your mentality,"
Mazikeen rolled her eyes,
"Oh, come on, what's life without a little risk?"
Ratchet pointed his digit at her,
"You can not do anything risky for ten years. I've had enough of your stunts the past few months,"
Mazikeen crossed her arms,
"Oh, come on. I want to remember,"
Ratchet stared at her,
"You will with time, you must rest,"
Mazikeen stared at him and turned to Eddie,
"Eddie?"
Eddie sighed and put a hand on her shoulder,
"Maz, you do need some rest. A lot has happened,"
Mazikeen sighed,
"I want to remember,"
Optimus transformed and knelt down in front of her,
"Mazikeen."
Mazikeen turned to him and nodded her head,
"You have done a lot for us from the moment you met us. Let us help you. You must rest and heal before you can do any activities. As much as we also want you to remember everything, I want you to not over-exert yourself. You are our friend, Mazikeen,"
Mazikeen sighed,
"God damn. You are as good as Will."
Will laughed and patted her shoulder,
"Get some rest,"
Jazz felt his spark tug at him painfully, but he pushed his emotions aside and nodded,
"Take a small break, lil M,"
Barricade nodded and patted her shoulder,
"I can feel your exhaustion,"
Mazikeen tilted her head,
"How?"
Barricade smirked,
"That's for you to find out,"
Mazikeen grumbled and punched his shoulder,
"Bully,"
Barricade chuckled,
"Sure, sure,"
Sarah grabbed her hand,
"Come on, I'll take you back to your room,"
Mazikeen sighed but allowed the mother to drag her away. Optimus turned to Ratchet,
"Ratchet?"
Ratchet sighed,
"Her memory is blocked. It appears that giving her power back to her has proven to have side effects, as we see in her right now. We can only hope that it will remain short-term. That something can push away those blocks,"
Jazz frowned,
"How about Tex?"
Ratchet sighed,
"I don't want to put him through that. He is but a sparkling."
Optimus sighed,
"We will have to remind her of the good times,"
Epps nodded,
"Yeah, we can do this. Do not worry, Optimus. Mazikeen is strong and fucking stubborn. She will be back before you know it,"
Jazz sighed and nodded,
"She will,"
