Naina sat outside ICU while her father was inside being treated by the doctors. She was still in daze and felt as if several things happened within a flash of time. Last night when she had served dinner to her father , she had never ever imagined that the morning would change her life. Everything changed suddenly as if it was a script written by destiny. Till now She had not even accepted Sameer's apology and destiny made her father chose him as his soulmate.....Kuch cheezein zindagi me achanak hi ho jati hai.
Naina in mind : Kaisi ajeeb parishthi hai.Papa ander ICU me hai , aur Sameer ke sath mera rishta bhi jud gaya. Akhir bhagwan ki ye kaisi marzi hai. Kyun mujhe chain se jeene nahi de rahe hai wo.Agar Sameer se risgta jodna hi tha toh papa ko takleef kyun di. Jis Sameer ke liye maine itne saal sangarsh kiye , usey mere papa ne mere liye khud hi chun liya. Wo bhi tab jab abhi tak main usse naraaz hun. Mujhe nahi malum mera dil kya chahta hai , par filhal Papa ko khone ka darr dil ko khokhla kar raha hai....
Naina mummered to herself : agar Papa chale gaye toh main bahut akeli ho jaungi.
Sameer sat beside her with a bottle of water and handling her said : Mere hotey huye tum kabhi akeli nahi ho sakti ho.
Naina looked at him with a blank face and took the bottle from him.Sameer sat beside her but remained quiet.
Suddenly Naina asked : Tumne ghar pe bataya ya nahi , Nanu chinta kar ràhe honge.
Sameer : abhi paani lene gaya tha toh maine ghar pe call kiya tha. Nanu se bhi baat huyi .....aur maine unhe mere aur Papa ke beech huyi baaton ke barey me bhi bataya.
Naina glanced at him but remained quiet and Sameer noticed that Naina was still not ready to share her pain with him. He softly held her hand and said : Nanu humesha kehte hai ki kabhi kabhi paristhithi humare hath me nahi rehti hai. Tab sabkuch upar waley ke hath me chor dena chahiye.....Itna mat socho. Sab acha hoga aur sahi hoga.
Naina mumerred : mere hath me toh waise bhi kabhi kuch nahi raha hai. Aaj pata nahi kya hoga.
Suddenly they saw Tauji ,Taiji , Bela and Preeti rushing towards them.
Bela ran and hugged Naina who started sobbing seeing her. But Preeti was stronger. May be it was the effect of pain and boulders that life had bestowed on her that made her believe that life is so unpredictable that one should be ready for any misfortune.
Preeti : Himmat rakh Naina . Insan toh bas bhagwan ki katputli hai. Chinta mat kar....Tauji thik ho jayenge.
Tauji saw Sameer and asked surprisingly : Tum kaun ho ? Doctor ne kya kaha ?
Sameer couldnt find out how to introduce himself when Preeti interfered : Tauji , Ye Sameer hai. Humlogon ka friend hai. Iska ghar Rakesh tauji ke ghar se paas me hai toh madad ke liye sabse pehle yahi aaya. Aur toh aur agar ye nahi aata toh sochiye ki Naina akeli kya karti.
Taiji : O bai....tumhara bahut bahut dhanyawad. Main toh tumhe us din dekhte hi samajh gayi thi ki tum ache ladke ho.
Tauji : Main zara doctor se baat karta hun.
Before he could move , doctor stepped out of ICU and came towards them. All moved towards him.
Tauji : Doctor , Rakesh kaisa hai. Kya hum usse mil sakte hai.
Doctor : Dekhiye wo filhal serious hai. Aur unki stithi nazuk hai. Humlog lagatar monitor kar rahe hai but agar 48 hrs me puri tarah se stability nahi aayi toh hume kuch aur sochna padega.
Abhi humne echo ki reports dekhi hai aur ek specialist doctor ka intzar kar rahe hai.
Naina uttered : wo thik ho jayenge na.
Doctor : we are trying our best. Par wo aksar Naina Sameer ka naam le rahe hai. Ek ghante baad visiting hours hai , main suggest karunga ki wo dono unse mil le.
Taiji (shockingly ) : O bai...
Tauji : par aisa kyun ? Wo dono...
Taiji : O bai....ab ye sab batein baad me hongi. Abhi sahi waqt nahi hai.
Doctor suddenly turned towards Sameer and said : aap hi Sameer hai na , mujhe aapse kuch baat karni hai.
Sameer nodded and went with him.
Naina 's heart almost stopped beating and she looked at him with expectation and fear. He too glanced at her and signalled Preeti to handle her.
Doctor took Sameer inside his cabin and asked him to sit.
Sameer (nervously) : Doctor sab thik hai na.
Doctor : Dekhiye Mr Sameer , maine jo bhi bahar kaha wo bahut sadharan tarike se kaha , par sacchayi ye hai ki patient is serious. Pulse bahut unstable hai.Abhi 48 hrs bahut nazuk hai. Stability aane ke baad bhi hum 3 din unhe observation me rakhenge.Aur sabkuch thik raha toh discharge mil jayega. Par phir bhi 2-3 hafte no movement. Complete bed rest.
Sameer (nervously) : aur agar stability nahi aayi toh ?
Doctor : phir shayad hume surgery karni padegi.Pacemaker bhi ek option hai.Lekin problem ye hai ki unka BP aur sugar dono high hai.
We cant take the risk of surgery. Kya wo sugar patient the ?
Sameer (hesitantly ) : Ji ye toh Naina se puchna padega.
Doctor : waise aap kaun hai...aapka baar baar naam lete hai. Unka koi beta nahi hai ?
Sameer : Main bhi unke bete jaisa hi hun , waise wo mere hone waley Sasurji hai. Unka beta filhal bahar hai. Par humlog usey contact karne ki koshish kar rahe hai.....waise Doctor fees aur baki charges ki chinta mat kijiyega. Wo sab main dekh lunga.
Doctor smiled softly : Dont worry ,apki hone wali wife ne admission ke samay kuch paisa deposit kiya tha. Haan agar surgery huyi toh zarurat padegi.

When Sameer came out the cabin , Naina rushed to him and stood infront of him staring at him with lots of question in her eyes. Sameer looked at her eyes and said : Papa thik ho jayenge .Tum tension mat lo. Sab thik ho jayega .
Naina looked into his eyes for truth and uttered : Tum jhut bol rahe ho na.
Sameer looked at the timid girl , who seemed scared ,hopeless and engrossed in a deep pain. He had many a times felt same for his Nanu.So he was well aware of this pain. He couldnt stop himself from hugging her and whispered : Sab thik ho jayega Naina. Thoda himmat aur sabr rakho.
Naina too couldnt hold back her pain amd sobbed like a child calling out for her father. Sameer pinned her to his heart and tried to console her.
But there was three more people who were shocked to see them together.
Though Sameer Naina parted soon and were seated outside ICU slong with Preeti, but Tauji ,Taiji and Bela were busy in a private talk which was a side effect of the hug.
Tauji : Beena , ye ho kya raha hai. Ye ladki toh hath se nikal gayi hai.
Bela tried to defend : Darr gayi hai bhai sahab , stithi thoda shant ho jane dijiye , phir main usse baat karungi.
Taiji : O bai...Rakesh babu bhi toh usi ka maam le rahe the. Koi na koi baat toh zarur hogi. Hum usse puchenge....waise ladka acha hai , Maheshwari pariwar ka hai. Agar koi baat bhi hai toh humare liye toh faide ki hi baat hai.Bhaithe bithaye Naina ke liye ladka mil jayega.
Tauji got angry : Tum bhi hadd karti ho Beena . Wahan Rakesh bimar hai aur tum yahan rishte karwa rahi ho ? Ho sakta hai ki uski tabiyat is ladke ke wajah se hi bigdi ho ? Mujhe sari baatein samajhne do ,is tarah uchalne ki zarurat nahi hai.
Taiji : Obai...jiske ghar me do do ladkiyan ghar pe bhaithi ho wo hospital
Toh kya kahin bhi ladka hi dhundhegi.
Aap jyada gussa mat kijiyega. Ladka hath se jana nahi chaiye.

It was around 7 am when Munna and Swati came and saw Sameer Naina and Preeti sitting outside ICU. Swati hugged and consolled Naina and Preeti and Munna took details from Sameer. Soon Pundit was also there. They met Tauji Taiji and Bela chachi too.
Tauji : Bela Anand aur Arjun ko khabar ho gayi hai kya ?
Bela : ji abhi tak toh nahi. Par unka phone aayega din me toh bata dungi. Mere paas toh unke hotel ka numbèr nahi hai. Aur Arjun bhi ghar pe phone zarur karega.
Taiji : Haan par usey bhi toh aane me waqt lagega.
Tauji : Naina tumne paiso ka kya socha hai. Paise wagerah hai ya...
Naina uttered softly : Filhal Mere paas hai Tauji. Par thoda time nikal ke bank bhi chali jaungi.
Bela : aiss karo , tumlog ghar ho ke aao , kuch kha lo. Yahan bhaithe rehne se toh kuch hoga nahi. Thoda aaram bhi kar lo. Phir aa jana.Tabtak koi ek yahan ruk jayega.
Sameer : ji aaplog ja ke fresh ho lijiye , main yahan rukta hun.
Naina : Main ruk jaungi. Tumlog jao. Sabko kaam pe bhi jana hoga. Main manage kar lungi. Tumhe Nanaji ka bhi khayal rakhna hai.
Sameer : Wo Thik hai , aur unke sath Ramdhari hai. ...par main yahan ruk raha hun. Waise bhi Papa ko tumhari bahut chinta hai. Tumhe akele dekh ke aur pareshan honge.
All were shocked to hear "Papa " from his mouth and Tauji couldnt hide his shock.
Tauji : kiske Papa.
Preeti : ye Rakesh Tauji ki baat kar raha hai. Tauji ne ICU me Naina ka hath Sameer ke hathon me diya tha.
She then narrated all that Rakesh wished for both of them.
Bela : Tujhe kaise pata chala , tu toh humare sath aayi thi.
Preeti : jab doctor Sameer se baat kar rahe the toh maine thoda bahut suna tha. Phir Naina se pucha toh isne bataya.
Tauji (angrily) : Rakesh ne hume toh kuch batane layak samjha hi nahi.
Taiji tried to control his anger : O bai...abhi in baaton ka waqt nahi hai. Waise thik hi hai. Mujhe toh Sameer pehle se hi pasand hai...Ek kaam karo , abhi Main aur Tumhare tauji rukte hai. Tumlog ghar ja ke thodi der aaram kar lo.
Though Naina was not ready but she was convinced by Swati and Preeti.
As they came out of the building , Munna asked Sameer : yaar ye sab achanak kaise hua.
Sameer : shayad unke mann me khud ke liye darr hoga aur kal raat unhone meri aur Naina ki baatein suni thi. Naina ki chinta ne shayad unhe ye faisla lene kd liye mazbur kiya hoga.
Pundit : Naina ne kuch kaha kya ?
Sameer : Nahi....Naina ne koi jawab toh nahi diya par unki baaton ko nakara bhi nahi. Wo filhal kuch nahi soch rahi hai..
Munna : tumne usse kuch pucha kya ?
Sameer took a deep breath : abhi ye sahi waqt nahi hai. Haan par maine Nanu ko sari baatein batayi hai.
Preeti and swati too were talking to Naina.
Swati : Chinta mat karna Naina ,sham me phir aaungi. Aur khane ki chinta mat karna. Main bana ke le aaungi.
Naina : Thank you Swati , par uski zarurat nahi hai. Main manage kar lungi. Waise bhi abhi bhukh nahi hai.
Preeti : aur tujhe lagta hai ki tu khud se kha legi. Bewakoof nahi hai. Aur ab toh tauji ne tumhari zimmedari Sameer ko di hai. Wo tujhe aise hi bhukhe bhaithne dega kya ?
Naina : papa ne bhawnao me beh ke bol diya hoga. Wo thik ho jayenge toh ...
Swati : toh ? Toh kya ???? Manaa kar dogi ?
Naina glanced at them but kept quiet.
Preeti : Hosh me reh ke hi kuch kehna ya karna. Aisa kuch mat keh dena ki Wo hurt ho jaye. Subah se hi pajama aur tshirt me idhar se udhar daud raha hai aur Arjun bhaiya ki zimmedari puri kar raha hai....aur ab ye mat kehna ki dikhawa hai.
Swati : par usey kaise pata chala.
Naina narrated her about the call she made thinking it to be Tauji 's number.
Swati : dekha....ye bhi bhagwan ki hi marzi thi.
Naina (sadly ) : aur papa jo ander hai , wo kiski marzi hai ?
Preeti (sadly ) : Duniya me har kisi ke sath jo bhi hota hai , sab unhi ki marzi se hota hai. Usme insan ka koi bas nahi chalta hai.

Soon munna swati left for home , and Pundit offered to drop Preeti and Bela.
Saneer asked Naina to sit in his car and walked forward when Naina stopped him. He halted and looked at her with a questioning look .
