Dear diary,
The day was... brutal. Just brutal. The only thing that got me through the day was the few blank memories of the world, the sunny beaches, the heat beating down on kids running around with no care in the world, the cyan blue sea washing up pink and white shells that when blew bellowed like a new shinny trumpet.
But alas, that's gone. The worlds now in ruins, wars raging on and on, bombs raining down like hail stones on a stormy day. Our enemies are called vampires, they suck blood out of us until we're nothing but shrivelled up prunes. Their leader is called Farrow but they Sean to call him Lord. He's a ruthless, heartless leader who doesn't care if any of his men die.
Today my roommate didn't return. I fear they where killed in the rubble and debris of one of the many deserted and destroyed cites. Just hours ago, I saw a lower ranking soldier clearing out their stuff. I bide my time, my hope fading that they will return.
