After that day, Jimin moves in with Jungkook. They stay in the same room as Jungkook lived in a studio apartment, big enough for two. Jimin was apprehensive about staying with Jungkook but something about the man made him feel protected. He had nothing with him other than his wallet and phone. Jungkook provided him with the things he had on him.

Jungkook had a hard time seeing Jimin walk around in his clothes. Jungkook's shirt was too big for the tiny boy and it made the man want Jimin more but Jungkook had promised Jimin that they would do nothing more than cuddle or the occasional kiss.

Jungkook was true to his word. He didn't touch Jimin in any vulgar way. He even stopped teasing Jimin about the erotic stories that Jimin wrote about them. It was fun when Jungkook would tease and then go home but now they were living together, sleeping in the same bed and Jungkook knew that his teasing wouldn't stop at that and he would want to try it with Jimin and right now wasn't the time to indulge in his pleasures, Jungkook genuinely did care about Jimin and what the boy wanted. Jungkook wanted them to be long term, to be forever and he would wait for them to be intimate whenever Jimin was ready.
For now, they are roommates who are dating and who genuinely liked and cared for each other.

Jungkook's friends and family are surprised to know about Jimin. Taehyung, Jungkook's friend and colleague, was soon Jimin's close friend. They bonded instantly. Taehyung never imagined Jungkook with anyone. Jungkook was a stern, cold hearted man to everyone except his family and friends. Jungkook never encouraged anyone to flirt with him or approach him for a relationship. Everyone was sure Jungkook would die alone with no partner by his side.
His friends were intrigued about this new boy in Jungkook's life. The person he let move in with him but they soon understood why. Jimin was indeed a soft hearted person who could melt anyone's cold heart like butter. They were happy that Jungkook found someone who complimented his life perfectly.

Jimin was happy to hear about Jungkook from Taehyung, because even though he was attracted to Jungkook, he didn't know for sure how Jungkook really is - what if Jungkook was a perverted officer who preyed on unsuspecting vulnerable civilians. Jimin was cautious in the beginning but now he knew Jungkook loved him just as much as he loved Jungkook

And then one day Jimin decides to go to his house to get his things by himself. Jungkook had warned him before to not do that, to take him with Jimin if the boy wanted to go, but Jimin wanted to fight his battle by himself, he didn't want to drag Jungkook into his mess more than he already had. Besides, Jimin believed his parents would just scold him and then kick him out after allowing him to take his things. He didn't expect to get attacked by his mom, not even in the least

Jimin messages Jungkook before he leaves for his parent's house. Jungkook was in an important meeting with the chief of police and assistant commissioner and had kept his phone on silent. Jungkook's heart picked up pace when he saw Jimin's message after nearly 3 hours of it being sent. Jungkook immediately calls the boy only for it to be unanswered and the second time, the phone was switched off. Jungkook ran

Jungkook didn't know which house Jimin lived in, since he always dropped Jimin a bit away from the house. Jungkook didn't care, he knew Jimin wasn't safe there so he left to the neighborhood and started screaming Jimin's name. He knew he could have first searched the boy's name in their computer system to get the address but his adrenaline had kicked in and he didn't want to waste any time. He calls the ambulance and backup on the way there, fearing the worst. The neighbors had come out due to his screams for Jimin and they directed him to the house. He rang the bell and shouted but Noone answered the door but when he threatened them that he would call the police, Jimin's mom opens the door. Jungkook immediately rushes in despite her protests
"Jimin! Jimin! Please! Baby are you here?!"
"I will report you for trespassing!" Mrs Park screams
"Do whatever you want! I just want to see Jimin! Jimin!" Jungkook says looking inside every room
"He left..."
"No..." Jungkook shakes his head "...his phone is here... so are all his things... he wouldn't go without taking what he wanted... Where is he?!"
Mrs Park just shrugs her shoulders "I don't know where that fag went and I don't care!"
Jungkook clenched his fists but controlled himself from punching her. He didn't care about her, he had to find his Jimin. He paused, trying to hear for any noise on top of the irritating lady who was yelling at him to leave the house
That's when he hears it, a whimper. Jungkook bolts to the kitchen and opens the storeroom closet and his heart breaks - Jimin was gagged and tied up, visible bruises on his face and evidence of the boy being slapped and his hair being pulled.
"J-Jimin..." Jungkook falls onto the floor as he tries to get Jimin from the tiny space, Jimin's body is wedged in there. Jimin had fainted due to lack of oxygen
By then the police and ambulance had arrived
Jungkook immediately takes Jimin into the ambulance asking the rescue team to do what they needed to do before he tells the police what he had witnessed and what he knew. Mrs Park still acted as if she did nothing wrong in disciplining her child
"The Parks are straight!" She justified
Jungkook punched her then but that wasn't recorded in the documents.

Jimin woke up in the ambulance and panicked but on seeing Jungkook, he burst into tears. Jungkook lovingly hugged the boy as he tried to calm Jimin down.
"I'm sorry I am late..." Jungkook whispers, making Jimin cry harder "...I promise she won't hurt you again...she will be locked up for a long time..."
A restraining order was placed against the woman

Jimin was resting after all his initial treatments at the hospital
Jungkook's dad was also there to see Jimin
"I am going to marry you and give you my name...." Jungkook says to Jimin making Jungkook's dad grin with pride for his son
"....Parks might be straight but this Jeon is gay for his Park..."

"Keep smiling... you look beautiful..." Jungkook says caressing Jimin's face
"Will you marry me Jimin? Marry me and be mine forever.."
