It is said that life does not stop whether someone is there or not, but ever since Haseena has refused Anubhav, it seems as if Haseena's life has come to a standstill.
It may have been just a few weeks since that incident, but for Haseena, every day of that week felt like a year.
Neither Anubhav was standing under her balcony for a week, nor did he follow her to college.
Now he does not even goes to the terrace to see her. Sometimes, if both of them accidentally came across eachother, he would behave like strangers and walk away.
It was not easy for Anubhav to do all this but he had no other option.
Whenever she came in front of him, he acted as if it didn't matter to him anymore.
All this was making Anubhav feel more depressed, but he still kept everything intact. He used to go to the shop early in the morning every day and returned late at night, although his father was very happy seeing his dedication in his work. But only Anubhav, Karishma and Ashok knew that all these were just tricks to avoid Haseena and nothing else.
One fine day Haseena went to Anubhav's house with a special dish which is a normal gesture in the neighbourhood of India.
Luckily Anubhav too was at home.
Haseena knocked their door which was open.
Anubhav who was seated there watching TV got surprised finding Haseena there. But he didn't let the surprise came on his face and called his mother.
Anubhav: maa koi aya hai.
Anubhav casually moved back his gaze upon the TV.
Maa came out from the kitchen.
Maa: Are Haseena...kuch kaam tha?
Haseena: ji vo humne pehleli baar Kothimbir vadi banaiee thi toh...
Anubhav remembered the coriander he sent her with his letter.
He still didn't reacted.
Maa: are waaah! Tum Maharashtrian kahana bhi bana leti hu?
Haseena: ji koshish karte hai. Vaise bhi Dhaniya hume bohot pasand hai.
Maa:(confused) kya?
Suddenly Ashok came , who was on Anubhav's bike.
Ashok went surprised seeing Haseena there.
Anubhav: Tumhe samaan lane bheja tha ya banane bheja tha jo itna samay lag gaya?
Ashok: Ab aa gaye na.
Anubhav: Maa hum chalte hai.
Maa: ruk jaa ab ye Kothimbir wadi kha ke jaa.
Anubhav: nahi maa humara maan nahi hai.
Anubhav started leaving.
Haseena: ek baar chakhenge bhi nahi?
Anubhav didn't stopped and spoke while sitting on the bike.
Anubhav: Maa hume bhook nahi hai, aate hai.
Maa noded and he left leaving Haseena with a sad face.
Ashok: Ab vo bhav de rahi thi toh kahe natak kar rahe the?
Anubhav remained silent.
Ashok: naraz ho ka uss se?
Anubhav smiled sarcastically.
Anubhav : Naraz hone ka Hak nahi humare paas.
Both went to the shop.
At evening, when Anubhav and Ashok both were busy with the customers Haseena came there with Salma.
Haseena: Vo...jhumke dekhne the.
Anubhav: Ashok...inhe jhumke dikha.
Ashok: hum?
Anubhav: toh kya 4-5 Ashok hai yaha?
Ashok: nahi...hume laga vo tumhare customer hai.
Anubhav: customer, customer hota hai Vishal, usme humara ya tumhara kuch nahi.
Anubhav got busy with other customer.
Ashok: ek min Haseena ji...bas ye customer nipta dee.
Haseena noded.
While Anubhav was attending other customers Haseena was constantly looking at him and he knew that she was looking at him but he didn't reacted.
Salma: vaise aapi...sirf jhumke chahiye the yaa kuch aur bhi.
Haseena looked at Anubhav.
Haseena: jo chahiye vahi toh nahi mil raha hai.
Anubhav: Ashok vo customers mai dekhluga, tu dekh inhe kya chahiye.
Anubhav finished dealing with his customers and then went to Ashok's customers.
While Ashok went to Haseena and Salma.
Ashok: kahiye kaise jhumke dikhau apko?
Haseena was sadly looking at Anubhav.
Ashok looked at Anubhav and then Haseena, he huffed.
Ashok: mam apko kuch dekhna bhi hai?
Haseena: Salma ko dikhaiye.
Salma: par aapi hum toh yaha apke liye aye the.
Haseena looked down with sadness.
Haseena: humara filhaal man nahi hai tu dekh le.
Anubhav turned around to keep some things that's when his eyes went on the mirror which reflected Haseena's reflection.
She was sad and also a pinch of furrow was seen on her face.
Anubhav:(pov) mai toh pyaar le kar aaya tha, tumne tadap chuni, mere liye bhi aur tumhare liye bhi.
Other customers slowly slowly started leaving the shop after getting what they wanted and now only Haseena and Salma was left there.
Salma: Aapi hume toh kuch samajh he nahi aa raha, hume toh sab pasand hai.
Haseena: hume toh ek he pasand aaya hai par...
Anubhav looked at her for a while and then took off his gaze from her.
Anubhav: dukaan badhane ka samay ho raha hai mam...pasand aa raha hai toh lijiye varana ap jaa sakti hai.
Haseena looked at him with the frown.
Haseena: Salma jo pasand aya hai jaldi le.
Salma: par ap bhi toh lijiye.
Haseena: Salma jo hume khubsurat banata hai vo aaina he humse kho gaya, ab hum saje bhi toh kiske bharose?
Anubhav huffed.
Anubhav: madam ap humara samay barbaad kar rahi hai. Agar kuch nahi pasand aa raha hai toh jaiye yaha se.
Haseena: ap aisa kyu kar rahe hai humare saath? Apko pata hai hum yaha kuch khareedne nahi aaye hai.
Anubhav: kuch nahi chahiye toh Please chali jaiye yaha se. Kyu ki waqt zaya karne keliye waqt nahi hai humare paas.
Haseena: par apne toh kaha tha ki apko hume dekhna accha lagta hai.
Anubhav: ap kis baremein baat kar rahi hai hum samjh nahi paa rahe hai. Ap jaa sakti hai.
Haseena: hum Abbu se jhoot bol kar aye hai.
Anubhav: vo apki samsya hai ap humse kyu baat rahi hai?
Ashok: Anu...ab tumhara bohot ho raha hai.
Anubhav: ye madam ka toh pata nahi ye kya keh rahi hai... Aur ab tu bhi bohora gaya hai.
He rolled up his sleeves and took his helmet.
Anubhav: hum ghar jaa rahe hai, dukaan badha ke tum bhi ghar chale jana.
He started leaving but suddenly Haseena held his hand.
He looked at her and she looked into his eyes.
