it had been a few days since my birthday and the meeting, draco and mattheo had returned to hogwarts to finish their tasks while me, theo and enzo stayed at the manor.
i walked into the kitchen, greeted by enzo who was sat at the table i sent him a small smile and went to grab some fruit from the fridge before sitting down at the table with him
'so how come you didn't go back to school aswell?' i asked, hoping i wasn't intruding
'well i've finished my task so it would just be a waste of time really' he replied nonchalantly
'oh so are you not doing OWLS then? i thaught that was a really big deal?' i questioned
'i mean exam scores aren't really gonna be worth much when the dark lord kills everyone and burns down the whole school' he let out a kind of sad chuckle
'oh yeah, i guess your right' i replied sadly
'sorry i kinda dumped that all on you there' he said, letting out a deep breath
'hey, no, it's fine. i mean it's a lot for all of us' i reply, giving him a small smile
'yeah' he mumurs
theo joined us in the kitchen, sitting next to me and helping himself to my food
'you alright?' he asks enzo who was staring into space
'oh yeah, i should probably go tho' he said, collecting himself
'sure' theo replies
'see you in a bit enzo' i smile and give him a little wave, which he returns
suddenly i remembered that daphne asked me how my birthday went and i never updated her, i get out my phone to talk to daphne but theo quickly snatches it off me, swiping to open the camera. as i'm reaching to try and get it back he's spamming photos, both of us ending in a laughing pile.
'there, our kids are gonna treasure these photos one day' he chuckles out and i cant help but smile at the thaught
