Mazikeen grumbled as she crossed her arms and stared at Ratchet,
"I still can't leave?!"
Ratchet sighed and looked at her,
"Maze, you are still recovering,"
"Why am I still on lockdown in here?"
Barricade laughed as he walked in,
"You do realize that everyone was serious when they said you were on lockdown for a month?"
Mazikeen huffed,
"I can take care of myself,"
Ratchet sighed,
"Maze, I know you can. But you must heal,"
Barricade nodded,
"I won't say this again. But Hatchet over here is right. I can feel the discomfort you have. Your arms still hurt from the burns,"
Mazikeen grumbled as she sat down,
"This whole besties bond is not as fun as I thought it would be,"
Barricade laughed and turned on his holo-form to hug her side,
"Come on, turn that glare off. Hatchet, can I please take her for a ride? I'll get Jazz to come with us. Two Cybertronians!"
Mazikeen's eyes immediately brightened, and she stood up,
"Pleaaaasssseeeee,"
Ratchet groaned as he looked at the pleading faces of the two,
"Oh my primus. Fine! Go get Jazz,"
Barricade laughed and turned off his holo-form,
"I'll get him, I think he was training with Prowl,"
"Don't start fights with Prowl!"
Barricade smirked and tugged at their bond teasingly,
"Me? Never,"
Mazikeen laughed and watched as he left. Ratchet pointed a digit at her,
"You know the rules-"
"Yeah, yeah. Stay with Cade and Jazz at all times, don't fly away or teleport miraculously away. Don't get hurt anymore unless I want to get offlined. You always tell me,"
Ratchet sighed,
"Mazikeen. We all care about you. I have seen a lot of destruction in my life, but so have you. Yet, you stay the same. I don't want to see an Earth without you in it,"
Mazikeen smiled softly at him and patted his servo,
"Ratch, I'm like a rash, I don't go away,"
Ratchet sighed,
"No matter how much we try,"
Mazikeen laughed and winked at him,
"Never ever,"

Barricade walked down the halls and heard baby cries. He winced and walked to the noise to see Bluestreak holding up Aaron and Hope in his holo-form arms. Bluestreak looked up at Barricade and sighed in relief,
"Barricade! Help me! You have been around Maze a lot! What can I do to get them to be quiet?"
Barricade laughed and knelt down close to them. Hope and Aaron stopped crying and looked at him with wonder in their eyes. Barricade tilted his head,
"They seem to have stopped,"
Bluestreak sighed in relief,
"Oh praise Primus. How did you do it?"
Barricade laughed,
"Bluestreak, kid. They stopped as soon as they saw me close to them. I don't think that holo-form is something they want. Transform and hold them in your servo,"
Bluestreak frowned,
"But should I not hold them in a smaller form for their comfort?"
Barricade shrugged,
"They know you as your true form, as Maze likes to say. Aura probably wanted you to show them the real you as soon as they were born,"
Bluestreak sighed and put them in Barricade's servo, and he quickly transformed, and Barricade softly put the twins in his servo,
"There,"
Hope giggled and held a hand to Bluestreak's digit while Aaron quickly fell asleep,
"Wow,"
Barricade chuckled and nodded,
"Yes, now. I am going to locate Jazz-"
"Woah, really?"
Barricade nodded,
"Yes, why are you shocked?"
Bluestreak shrugged,
"You two don't get along at all,"
Barricade grumbled and crossed his arms,
"It is not my fault. He simply seems to have an issue with me,"
Bluestreak smirked and nodded,
"I will come with you. He is the godfather of Aaron and Hope,"
Barricade smirked,
"Hey, did Prowl see the two sparklings?"
Bluestreak shook his head,
"No, he was on a mission,"
Barricade smirked,
"Oh, this is going to be good,"
Bluestreak tilted his head,
"What do you mean?"
Barricade smirked and put a servo on his shoulder,
"My newest friend, just wait and see,"
Barricade quickly sped up, and Bluestreak followed behind him. They got to the training room and saw Prowl and Jazz leaning against the wall, talking. Barricade smirked,
"Oh, Prowl!"
Prowl grumbled and turned to glare at Barricade,
"What do you want?"
Barricade smirked and immediately gently grabbed the twins from Bluestreak,
"Babies!"
There was a giant thud, and Barricade cackled,
"Works every time!"
Bluestreak gasped,
"Prowl!"
Jazz sighed,
"I forgot he did that,"
Barricade laughed again and handed Bluestreak Hope and Aaron,
"Thank you for this, Bluestreak, I needed that,"
Jazz glared at Barricade,
"What are you doing here?"
Barricade smirked and shrugged,
"Well, I was coming over to talk to you. But! I saw an opportunity to get a prank on my twin, so I had to strike,"
Bluestreak sighed,
"Why did Prowl go into recharge?"
Barricade shrugged,
"Shock? I don't know, don't really care, it was just funny to see,"
Jazz crossed his arms,
"Why did you want to talk to me?"
Barricade smirked proudly at him,
"I got ol' Hatchet to agree to my wonderful plan,"
Bluestreak and Jazz looked at him in confusion,
"What plan?"
Frenzy popped up,
"Squishy can go on a drive with us!"
Jazz glared,
"Lil M is not going anywhere with you alone,"
Barricade smirked,
"Which is why you are coming with us,"
Bluestreak slowly backed away from the two glaring mechs and left the room. Jazz crossed his arms,
"Why would I agree to spend time with you?"
Barricade smirked proudly and gestured to the symbol that was on full display on his chasses,
"Oh, dearest Jazz. It's not just spending time with me, but spending time with my best friend, Squishy,"
Jazz growled,
"It's Maze, not squishy,"
Barricade shrugged,
"She is fine with being called by Squishy, as I am fine with her calling me Cade,"
Frenzy nodded,
"Yeah! It is in the fake contract of friendship that Squishy claims to have written in her processor,"
Jazz growled again but nodded,
"Fine. But only for Lil M,"
Barricade smirked,
"But, of course,"
They walked in silence to the Medical Bay and opened to see Ratchet scorning Mazikeen. Mazikeen immediately brightened at seeing the two,
"FINALLY! What took so long?"
Barricade laughed,
"Prowl fainted,"
Ratchet sighed,
"What did you do?"
Barricade smirked,
"I only wished to show him the two human sparklings,"
Mazikeen laughed and nodded her head,
"Good job, Cade,"
Barricade smiled proudly,
"I know,"
Jazz sighed,
"Well, let's get going,"
Ratchet pointed a wrench at the two,
"If she comes back with so much as a scratch I will put you both into stasis lock!"
Barricade and Jazz immediately nodded, and Mazikeen stepped onto Jazz's servo,
"Let'g goooo!"
Jazz chuckled and smiled at her,
"You really are excited, Lil M,"
Mazikeen nodded,
"I have been locked up for a WEEK! Let me outttt!"
Jazz laughed, and Barricade followed behind. When they got out into the open, the two transformed into their alt-modes and Mazikeen plopped down in Jazz's passenger seat. She smiled in content as they drove.
"You sure you don't wanna ride with me?"
"Cadeee, stop,"
"What?"
"Sh,"
"Fine,"
Jazz turned on his holo-form and handed her a penny,
"Penny for your thought?"
Mazikeen burst out laughing,
"You kept my penny?"
Jazz smirked proudly,
"Of course I did,"
Mazikeen smiled and grabbed the penny and shrugged,
"It's so weird. Megatron is defeated, so is Starscream, shockwave, and soundwave...so...what now?"
Jazz sighed,
"Optimus is trying to get a better treaty going, which you are aware of obviously...and we are all hunting down Decepticons that might have been hiding,"
"Don't forget I'm giving you some hidden base locations!"
Jazz rolled his eyes but nodded at Barricade's voice in the comms,
"Yeah, so when that is over, I don't know what will happen,"
Mazikeen nodded,
"Well, I guess we will figure it out when the time comes,"

Mazikeen smiled brightly at him and smirked,
"Soooo, can I fly now?"
Jazz frowned,
"What? No!"
"Hatchet will offline both of us!"
Mazikeen smirked and she put on Phoenix,
"What he doesn't know won't kill him,"
Jazz sighed,
"Lil M,"
Mazikeen looked at him,
"Pleeeeeeaaaaaaaase?"
Jazz felt a tug at his spark but he shook his head,
"Nope,"
Mazikeen pouted and tugged at the bond she shares with him,

He could hear Barricade's laughter and he glared at the radio,
"Oh shut up,"
Mazikeen opened Jazz's door and took flight right above him and smiled in joy,
"Fuck yeah!"
Jazz laughed. Barricade smirked,
"A race?"
Mazikeen immediately nodded. They started driving/flying faster and raced down the road. But then again. Nothing good ever stays good for Mazikeen. There was a bright flash. Jazz and Barricade screeched to a stop and transformed in a panic as they saw Mazikeen poof away,
"MAZIKEEN!"
Barricade screamed out as a pain entered his spark. Jazz immediately helped him up,
"Barricade?"
Barricade grunted,
"Oh, frag this scrap,"
Jazz frowned in concern for the first time ever to the mech in front of him.
"What is it?"
Barricade grunted,
"Something is wrong with the bond,"
Jazz frowned,
"The one with Lil M?"
Barricade nodded,
"Y-Yeah."
They watched as the mark on his chassis glowed and was replaced by a new one that they were both familiar with from tales of old.
