"you guys fucked where?!?" yeonjun yells, and he had every right to. i wasn't in my right mind, and i allowed him to chew me out as i scrubbed off the couch.

last night, wooyoung end up leaving despite me begging him to stay, he assumes we can see each other tomorrow and now it's the next day and i remember how we made love on the couch.

"suddenly i wish you was back to the you're non sexually attractive self, that san use to read books on couch."

"yeonjun, im sorry." i said whipping the table now, since i'm already cleaning,"it won't happy again,it better not."

we stare at eachother before bursting into laughter," like dick was too good to go upstairs." i laugh shaking my head before correcting him," finally he allow me to top,"

"wow." yeonjun says flopping on the couch adjacent from the one i cleaned. "It was...unexpected. But, Yeonjun, it was more than just that. Last night was special."

Yeonjun raised an eyebrow, a silent prompt for me to continue. Taking a deep breath, I found myself smiling at the memory, the warmth of the moment still fresh in my heart. "We said 'I love you'," I revealed, the words feeling just as powerful now as they had then. "And before you ask your favorite line... yes, I do love him."

The room fell silent for a moment, the weight of my confession hanging in the air. Yeonjun's gaze softened, and I could see the genuine happiness for me in his eyes. "Well, damn," he said, a broad smile spreading across his face. "That's... that's really something, San. I'm happy for you, truly."

"Thanks." i said sitting on the couch.

"So no more guilt about the plan."

The mention of the plan immediately shifted the atmosphere, the laughter and lightness fading as quickly as it had come. The pit in my stomach, a constant companion since the plan's inception, grew heavier. Yeonjun's words, though delivered with his usual straightforwardness, felt like a punch to the gut. "I gotta tell him, I just need to find out when," I admitted, the weight of my secret pressing down on me with renewed force.

"Soon or never," Yeonjun echoed, his voice a mixture of seriousness and concern.

"Yeah, I know," I muttered, rising from my seat with a heavy sigh. "Maybe he'll understand," I added, though deep down, I knew he wouldn't. He'd hate me for it. He'd probably throw a punch, and then Jimin would come along and make it ten times worse than Wooyoung ever could. Maybe I should hit the gym or take boxing classes or—

"You're going on a date with Taehyun," Yeonjun's voice interrupted my spiraling thoughts, his expression a mix of confusion and concern, his eyebrows furrowed in a puzzled frown. I mirrored his expression, feigning innocence. "Date?" I chuckled lightly. "No, we're just hanging out today. Why do you ask?"

"Beomgyu texted me and mentioned it," Yeonjun replied, glancing at his phone. "Maybe he's being overdramatic. I think he likes Taehyun."

"Aw, that's cute. Yeah, no, Taehyun and I are just hanging out," I clarified, my tone lightening with amusement.

"Yeah, because you have a boyfriend," Yeonjun pointed out, a smile tugging at the corners of his lips.

"Yup, now I should get ready for this hangout," I said, brushing off the topic before making my way upstairs.

I pulled on a black graphic oversize shirt, a piece I was certain belonged to Wooyoung. With a shrug, I slipped it on, the fabric draping loosely over my frame. Peeling off my pajamas, I traded them for a pair of black cargo pants, the familiar weight of them comforting against my skin. Retrieving my Vans from the depths of my closet, I laced them up quickly before bounding down the stairs.

"You're starting to dress like your boyfriend too," Yeonjun commented, his gaze lingering on my outfit choice. I couldn't help but roll my eyes at his observation. "Well, I'm wearing his shirt," I retorted, a hint of defiance in my tone.

Securing my Vans snugly, I tugged at the laces before making my announcement. "I'm taking the car!" With that, I dashed out the door.

As I arrived at the arcade, Taehyun greeted me with a bright smile, his eyes sparkling with anticipation. He was dressed casually yet stylishly, sporting a fitted black hoodie with a colorful abstract print, paired with distressed jeans and pristine white sneakers. His dark hair was tousled, framing his face in a way that exuded effortless charm.

"Hey, you made it!" Taehyun exclaimed, his voice laced with excitement as he took in my appearance. His gaze lingered on me for a moment "You look cute today, San.", his words sending a flutter of warmth through my chest. "Thanks."

"You're welcome." Taehyun chirps .

Despite his casual demeanor, I couldn't shake the nagging thought of what Yeonjun had said earlier. Did Taehyun see this as a date too?

Before I could dwell on it further, Taehyun reached for my hand, his touch grounding me in the present moment. With a reassuring smile, he led me towards the array of flashing screens and buzzing machines, eager to immerse ourselves in the world of video games.

As Taehyun and I engaged in a spirited game of air hockey, I couldn't help but feel a surge of adrenaline coursing through my veins. The puck darted back and forth between us, the sound of our laughter echoing through the arcade. With each swift movement, I managed to outmaneuver Taehyun, scoring point after point with a sense of satisfaction.

"Haha, I win!" I exclaimed, a triumphant grin spreading across my face as I glanced at Taehyun, who shook his head in playful disbelief.

"I let you win," he retorted with a playful smirk, his eyes sparkling with mischief.

"Yeah, right," I chimed in, a playful scoff escaping my lips as I nudged Taehyun's shoulder.

Undeterred by Taehyun's claims, we moved on to the claw machine, determined to claim our prizes. To our surprise, my steady hand and sharp focus paid off as I successfully snagged two plushies from the machine, one for each of us. I give Taehyun the tiger plushie and I decided to keep the other one.

"This one will be for Woo," I declared, holding up the wolf plushie with a grin, knowing it would make Wooyoung's day.

As we settled back into our playful banter, Taehyun's curiosity got the better of him. "You and Wooyoung are close," he observed, his tone casual yet probing.

I took a deep breath, seizing the opportunity to lay out the truth. "Yeah, we're dating," I admitted, watching Taehyun's reaction closely.

His eyes widened ever so slightly, his mouth forming into an 'O' of surprise. "Wow, that makes a lot of sense," he remarked, a hint of realization dawning on him.

"What does?" I pressed, curious about his sudden insight.

Taehyun chuckled nervously, his cheeks flushing pink. "Don't tell him I told you, but he sketches your face a lot in class," he confessed, his words tinged with a mixture of amusement and embarrassment.

a warm blush spread across my cheeks. "He does," I asked in awe , unable to hide the fondness in my voice.

"Don't tell him I said it," Taehyun requested, his tone almost conspiratorial. I nodded in agreement, offering a reassuring smile. "I won't but that's actually cute," I added, unable to resist acknowledging the sweetness of Wooyoung's gesture.

As the day unfolded, Taehyun and I battled non-stop in Dance Dance Revolution, our competitive spirits fueling the friendly rivalry between us. The arcade buzzed with energy as onlookers cheered and music filled the air, creating an exhilarating atmosphere. With each step and move, we danced with fervor, the flashing lights and pulsating beat adding to the excitement of the game.

Eventually, as the arcade began to wind down and the crowds thinned out, we reluctantly called it a day, our laughter echoing through the emptying arcade as we made our way towards the exit.

The soft breeze carried the faint scent of blooming flowers, mingling with the distant hum of traffic in the background. the air took on a gentle chill typical of a spring evening in the city.

"I had fun, Taehyun. We should do this again so I can beat you in DDR," I teased, a playful glint in my eye as I nudged him jokingly. Taehyun snorted in response, his laughter mingling with mine as we exchanged banter, the camaraderie between us undeniable.

After exchanging goodbyes, I made my way to my car, the sound of my footsteps echoing in the quiet arcade. Humming contentedly to myself, I reached into my pocket for my keys, my mind already drifting to thoughts of the next time Taehyun and I would face off in friendly competition.

However, my peaceful reverie was abruptly shattered when, out of nowhere, I felt a forceful shove against the hard brick wall. Before I could react, a sharp blow to my eye left me reeling in shock and pain, the sudden attack catching me completely off guard.

My hand cupped my throbbing eye, a groan escaping my lips as pain shot through me. "What the hell!?" I yelled, my gaze locking onto the familiar figure before me. My good eye widened in shock as I realized it was him. "What do you want?"

Standing up, I braced myself as he pushed me, his anger palpable as he stared me down. His voice was filled with venom as he accused, "You think you can barge into Wooyoung's life and take what's mine!" Mingyu's words cut through the air like knives, each syllable laced with bitterness. He lunged forward, pushing me harder, nearly knocking the air out of my lungs. "You don't deserve him," he spat, his fists flying as another blow landed against my already battered body.

Summoning every ounce of strength I had left, I managed to utter, "I'm not using him," but Mingyu's grip only tightened, crushing my hand and eliciting a pained whine from me. "Tell me another lie," he demanded, his eyes blazing with fury.

"I'm not using—ow," I attempted to protest, but another punch cut me off, leaving me reeling. Desperation flooded my senses as I struggled to defend myself, but Mingyu was relentless, seizing my other hand before I could strike back. "I know about the 'Wooyoung must die' thing," he sneered, his words sending a chill down my spine. "How would he feel when he finds out you were trying to actually poison him?"

"That wasn't on purpose," I protested, my voice strained as I kicked out in a feeble attempt to defend myself. Mingyu's response was swift and brutal, his foot connecting with my body with a force that sent me sprawling to the ground, blood staining the pavement beneath me. "You better not lay a hand on him," I warned, my voice trembling with defiance. "Or I'll beat you up ten times worse than this."

As Mingyu walked away, a mix of anger, frustration, and humiliation swirled within me. I felt lightheaded and pathetic, unable to defend myself against his brutal assault. Hunching over, I reached for my phone with trembling hands and dialed his number, hoping he would pick up.

Beside me, Yeonjun couldn't hide his concern, his glances filled with worry as he shook me gently. "I'm awake, no need to do that," I muttered, my voice strained with exhaustion as I stared blankly out the window.

"Just making sure you don't sleep ," Yeonjun remarked, his tone tinged with frustration as he stole another glance at me."Did he say who told."

"Just keep your eyes on the road," I murmured, my gaze fixed on the passing scenery outside."And no." I hummed.

"I think you should—" Yeonjun began, but I cut him off, my voice firm and determined. "No, I'm going to fucking find out who told, and why Mingyu out of all people," I declared, the anger simmering beneath my words palpable.

"S- San," Yeonjun sighed, his tone laced with concern as he watched me pull out my phone and open up the chat.

Ignoring his apprehension, I scrolled through the messages, my mind racing as I searched for any clue that could lead me to the source of the betrayal.
