"Yo, here" FM passes me a piece of paper "What's this?" "It's a picture, I drew it" I inspected the picture, it was a sketch of Kiriko eating a donut, nice drawing, "give this to her, say that you couldn't get your mind off her, because that may be slightly true" I grabbed the drawing and shoved it into my pocket, "Hey, easy" "Dude we are always late, I'll pick up Kiriko" "A-okay" I pulled out my phone, and called up Kiriko "Hey Kenji, what's up?" "Nothing much, do you have a ride to dinner?" "You know I never did think about that" "If you want I can take you" "That'd be okay" "Great, see you then" I exhaled, as I saw FM messing around with the flashbang "You want to go back?" "After you and Kiriko get together, then I'll leave" "Ok" "Anyways, I'll slaughter some Hashimoto scum, I don't want them intruding in on your romantic dinner date", "jeez ok" "In fact, I'll do it right now, It's also 9:15, and the restaurant she wanted to go to is 30 minute away, and her place is about 15 minutes away, so I were you, I'd hit the road, like right now" "oh crap" I grabbed my keys, slid over the counter and rushed to my Supra, peeling out of the parking lot and into the sunset .
Kenji POV (the original one)
After grabbing everything I need I headed out and tossed a toy Kawasaki H2R on to the asphalt, it slowly grew to life size and I hopped on,I followed P-kenji and then diverted to the port, where the Hashimoto were building their underwater base, they are covering it as a port renovation project, however, I'm gonna put a stop it, I slowed down as I got to the fish market, I grabbed the toy Kawasaki and walked in, only to be grabbed and pushed into a door, I was going to fight back, but I don't know where I am, and I left the flashbang Writer gave me at home, which means I'm stuck in whatever this place is, a loudspeaker spoke overhead "Welcome! Welcome! You might be asking where you are, welcome to the Pool Rooms! The Hashimoto's first Liminal underwater torture chamber! Please, make yourself at home, since you won't be able to see it again, goodbye!" I looked around, and saw only tiles and small shallow bodies of pool water, the whole landscape was enveloped in a sort of turquoise light, the room spoke to me in a way, I walked around, to see the same things over and over, like I'm in an infinite loop, I punched the wall and it broke, only to reveal a new scape, this time on a much bigger scale, I feel like I'm alone but someone's here at the same time, "Those sick bastards" I kept walking, feeling a sense of unease, but comfort, there are dark corners, that make me feel hostile towards those places, I soon began to feel entranced, I pulled out a flashlight and continued, it got darker, but I could still make out stuff, the sloshing of water along with the eerie atmosphere made me extremely cautious, I slowly raised my rifle, ready to pepper anyone who decides to face me off, but nobody came, and the rooms got brighter, "what if I just..." I grabbed a c4 remote explosive and threw it on the ceiling, I backed up a bit and hit the remote, I hear a boom and grapple shotted up, it hit something, and I feel relief, I clambered out of the hole, only to find out that there are MORE LEVELS ABOVE, I yelled in anger and defeat, and then, in my ultimate wisdom realized, "wait, I can make portals" GODDAMN IT. I FORGOT I CAN MAKE PORTALS AND SPENT GOD KNOWS HOW LONG IN THIS WRETCHED PLACE, but I can't leave this place standing, I made a clone army and sent them out to blow up the place using c4, I walked through the water, and over tiles, "Phoenix 1C109, all c4s placed, ready at your discretion" "Copy Phoenix 1C109, fire in the hole" I hear rumbling and the ground under me shook extremely hard, the walls crumbled and water gushed out, I made a portal to the surface and ran through, ending up in the control room, "Shit! The Pool Rooms are collapsing! Someone blew up a bunch of supports and the rooms are breaking down!" I began firing on the control room, killing the director first, then executing all the staff, and I found someone that should have died a long time ago, my father, "son? Kenji?" I was blinded by my pure rage, and savagely killed my father, firing all the bullets in my rifle, before repeatedly stabbing him. I left the remains of the failed Hashimoto base. I wonder how P-Kenji is doing?
P-Kenji POV:
I arrived at Kiriko's apartment, which was right next to mine, so no biggie there. I calmly knocked on the door, but inside I was freaking out, I heard from inside "Come in! I'll be out in a bit" I opened the door and walked in, my eyes began to start burning from the amount of Incense and essential oil diffusers, I whispered screamed "FUCK!" I then rubbed my eyes a couple of times and explored the apartment, there were many pictures of Kiriko and her family, I was a tiny bit jealous, I wish I had a family like that, and then I hear a door knock, I pulled out my sidearm, expecting a Hashimoto Clan member, but I heard a feminine voice say "Kiriko, it's me" I quickly looked in the peephole and then looked at the pictures, it's Kiriko's mom. I hear the door open and I immediately get put in a chokehold, "WHERE IS MY DAUGHTER?!" "ShE'S (Cough) CoMiNg OuT (Cough) (Cough)" I hear the door open, "Kenji! I'm ready- MOM! GET OFF HIM!" I heard some swatting and I finally got a breath of incense, and then started coughing, since I inhaled incense, "Who are you?" "My name is-" Kiriko cuts me off "My new private Chef!" "private chef?" "private chef??" "yeah! My private chef!" I stood up and cracked my back a bit, Kiriko's mom spoke up "Your lying" "Fine, I'm going on a date with him" I sighed a bit "Anyway's the reservation's at 10:00, and we are 10 minutes late, if you want we can do this later" Kiriko's mom snapped "No, you are staying here, where you will explain how you met, what you work as, and why you think you are worthy of my daughter" Jeez, overprotective much? "Ok" I turned to Kiriko, who was mouthing "Sorry" to me, I just shook my head, and turned to Kiriko's mom, "My name is Kenji Rioku, I used to work as an IT manager and I'm now looking for some more ambitious roles, honestly, I don't think I deserve Kiriko, she's waaaayy outta my league, I'm honestly thankful that Kiriko agreed to this, we met when I was attacked by the Hashimoto Clan, I was on the verge of death, but your daughter saved me, I am indebted to her, the least I could do is make sure she doesn't feel alone" "Where are your parents? Any Siblings?" I pulled up a picture on my phone, where my sibling's and mom's shrines were laid out ""oh, I'm sorry ""It's fine, I've come to terms with it ""What about your father?" "I'd prefer not to say" "What is it? Drugs? Murder? Trafficking?" Kiriko mumbled "mom, stop it" Kiriko's mom yells "No! I need to know! He could be a bad person!" "It's ok Kiriko, I'll answer, where do I begin, my childhood till 13, my life was amazing, me, my mom, 2 siblings and my father, I loved it, but then my dad ran up a debt with the Yakuza, he was forced in, and the downhill began, it got worse and worse, My mom tried to protect us, but one can only take so many beatings, one day, I snapped-oop" My phoenix flew out "Dude! Now's not the time" Phoenix whispered "Dude I've been in there all day, I need to stretch my wings" "Fine, but don't interfere" "Gotcha boss" I turned to Kiriko's mom, whose face was pale, "You have one of those animal spirits too?" "yeah" "Alright, well continue" "Where was I? Oh right, I snapped and fought back, I knocked out my father, me and my family packed up everything important and sped away, only to be t-boned and flung out of the car, the car rolled into the water, and everyone died, except for me, I ran away and never looked back, there was nothing to look back to, I went to college, got a good job, ans settled in, I left my job because I had to interact with pretty terrible people, and here I am, starting anew" I gestured to everything, Kiriko's mom look satisfied, "My name's Asa, welcome to the family" I shook her hand, and nodded to Kiriko, we went to leave the house, but Asa called me "Kenji, a moment please" I walked over, "Please, protect my daughter with your life" "Don't worry about it", I left the apartment and slid down the railings, Kiriko was waiting below, "hey Kiriko, let's go, we're late" "alright! Hurry up!" I followed as Kiriko ran to a random Honda Civic, "This is your car right?" "Nah, that is" I tapped the unlock button on the fob, and the supra let out a little Beep beep, "no way, a supra?" "Yep, well, let's go!" I slid into the driver seat and revved the engine, before speeding off, driving dangerously fast, I swerved between trucks and people, "Wooah! Slow down!" "The dinner is non-refundable" "Speed up! Speed up!" I skidded to a stop in front of the restaurant, and quickly jumped out, Kiriko tailed behind me, I burst through the door and held up my holophone, with the reservation on the phone screen, A waiter walks up to me "Hello sir, thank you for coming, we were about to give your table to someone else, (Fast forward a normal dinner with a lot of flirting) I dropped off Kiriko and nodded to her "Hope to see you sometime soon" I walked back to the Supra and a portal appears in front of me, FM came out and said, "Get in, drive the car in" I drove my Supra through it and I pulled out (AYO????), I was greeted by my apartment, "Yo, Future Kenji, what's up?" "I need to leave" "What?" "I need to leave this time, I've spent too much time" FM's body began to flash different colors and he dropped to the floor, "my atoms are not quite fazed with being in a different timeline with another instance of an exact copy" "Oh" "I'll teach you one last lesson" "What?" "One thing beforehand, I compiled all the data in my brain related to cooking, another thing, I need to teach you better fighting skills" "Really?" He tossed my 2 kodachis and took me to a collection of fruits, starting with a watermelon and getting smaller and smaller, I inspected the 2 swords, he pulled out his, "first, spar with me" "Okay" I advanced, and swung, only to get blocked and got stunned as FM smacked he in the side of my head with the Kodachi, I staggered back, I held up as FM chipped away at my strength "Time to up the ante!" my phoenix yells, charring a bit of FM's suit, and burning the floor underneath us, I yelled "Phoenix! Cook 'em!" I charged at FM and I swung, missing before I was slapped in the back of my head" "GGs, I'm gonna teach you how to use Kodachis" I turned to the fruit, "I'm gonna throw these up, slice them in half" I nodded, FM chucked the watermelon up, I sliced it with ease, then a cantaloupe, then a banana, then an apple, and the final test, a grape, He tossed the grape up, I sliced it perfectly in half, "Your fruit killing skills are remarkable" "Thanks man" I saw FM grab a Flashbang, "Your leaving?" "I am actively disintegrating, I have to leave" he approached me and hugged, I responded too, "This was fun, messing with my past-self I gotta go, Fortune Favors the Brave" He waved, I waved back "Your the best wingman I could have ever asked for" "Damn straight" FM hooked up his tape deck to a speaker, playing Ice Cube's "Good Day"

A/N: What's up everyone! I hope you like this small Time-Travel Saga, It was pretty fun working on it, I'll try to implement some more lovey dovey stuff after researching on google for about 5 minutes tops, hopefully I can roll out that Lemon in the next few chapters, along with there being slowly less action, and a little more plot development, I felt as if I'm dodging Kiriko a bit too much in these few chapters, anyways, I got a gift for you, THINK FAST CHUCKLENUTS!
