Mazikeen held on tightly to the pillar as she saw the ground get further and further away,
"Oh shit shit shit shit, I am never going to hear the end of this,"
She held up a new ring and pressed on it,
"Hey, bestie, buddy, I'm in need of that favor!"
She groaned as she didn't get a response back,
"Oh, this is so getting me in trouble,"
She tapped her mask for the comms,
"Optimus?"
"Mazikeen! Sentinel claimed to have offlined you!"
"Oh, please, I'm pretty much immortal at this point...but I need you to listen closely. I know you are fighting right now, but I need you to hear me,"
"I am listening,"
"I don't blame you. Sure, I'm still pissed that you didn't mention the whole space bridge shit to me, but I don't blame you for how Sentinel turned out to be."
"Mazikeen...I am at fault-"
"Oh, shut up Optimus, everyone makes mistakes, our mistakes make us all the more human!"
"That's what your brother told me,"
"Well, I did pretty much raise that kid aside from my parents. But I want to also tell you one more thing,"
"What is it?"
"I give you my full fucking permission to date my cousin after this shit is over-"
"W-What?!"
"Oh please, I'm not blind, Optimus. You both care about each other! So! After this shit, you go talk to her, apologize for being an idiot, and fucking confess to her!"
"Mazikeen...why are you telling me this?"
Mazikeen looked down again and sighed,
"I don't know if I'm coming back...but I'm not giving up just yet,"
"Mazikeen? What do you mean?"
"Just focus on your fight with your old mentor. I know you are right now, but yeah, bye, Optimus,"
She cut off the line and pressed her mask again, and smiled nervously as she saw how far up she was going,
"Hey, Will! My favorite person in the world,"
"What the fuck did you do this time?"
"Oh, you are going to laugh so hard,"
"Oh, no,"
Mazikeen winced,
"So, uh...you see...I want you to try looking up for the control pillar,"
"What?"
"Yeah, um. Once you see it...let's just say...you will find me,"

Will looked up,
"Hey! Does anyone see the control pillar?"
Epps squinted his eyes,
"No?"
Sunstreaker and Sideswipe slid by them and stopped,
"What is it?"
Will sighed,
"Mazikeen is on the comms with me and said that when we find the control pillar, we find her,"
Sideswipe narrowed his optics and saw it,
"HOLY SCRAP!"
"What? What is it? You found it?"
Sunstreaker nodded,
"YEAH! IT'S FLYING HIGHER IN THE SKY!"
Will cursed,
"MAZIKEEN WITWICKY YOU GET OFF THAT FUCKING PILLAR NOW!"
"Oh, that's the best part...I'm kinda stuck,"
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN STUCK?"
"I may or may not...Sort of...possibly...have not taken into account EMP bombs affecting my new flying device,"
Will felt his heart stop,
"Tell me you're kidding,"
"I'm not,"
Will kicked a stone, and Eddie looked at him,
"Will?"
Will shook his head as he continued speaking into his comm,
"Mynx. You find out how to get off of it right now! GET OUT OF THERE!"
"Will! I can't! I have a plan, though! And it requires a lot of praying, so just pray, yeah?"
Will sighed and ran a hand through his hair,
"Mynx,"
"It's okay! Just uh...I wanted to say my goodbyes, just in case it doesn't work, yeah?"
"No, it will. I don't know what your fucking planning, but it will!"
"Will! It's okay! I'll be fine. I love you, and I love our boys. I need you to make sure everyone gets out of this, and I know it's almost finished. I'll finish it up here."
"Maze-"
"Hush, everything is completely for sure under control right now."
Will closed his eyes and sighed,
"I love you too,"
"You better,"
He heard the line go dead and let out a scream that turned heads. Epps immediately pulled him into a tight hug,
"Lennox!"
Will shook his head,
"Maze is up there! She's up with the control pillar!"
Jazz walked up to them and felt his spark drop,
"What?"
Barricade ran over to them,
"I NEED A RAMP! I NEED TO GET UP THERE!"
Will looked at the frantic Cybertronian,
"Barricade, we can't get to her,"
Barricade shook his head,
"No, but when she fucking comes down, I'm catching her, and I know just how to!"
Jazz glared at him,
"And how the fuck do you know?"
Barricade looked at him,
"Because I've done it!"

Mazikeen has never been more thankful for her force-shield devices than right now. She slowly loosened her grip when she saw that she was above the clouds,
"This better work,"
She took out her twin guns and sighed,
"Primus, let me not go splat, amen,"
She let go of the pillar and shot it. She felt a painful tug at her spark as it exploded. She felt something hit her and closed her eyes as she felt the air against her as she fell. Then there was a bright light and someone screaming her name. She opened them slowly and saw black hair fill her vision,
"Ham,"
"HOLD ON CRAZY!"
Mazikeen felt arms surround her as they did a nose-dive.

Barricade started speeding down the streets,
"Frenzy! I need a ledge! Calculate trajectory!"
"Calculating!"
Barricade looked up and finally spotted two people falling, and he laughed,
"Hah! Wings is here!"
Bᴀʀʀɪᴄᴀᴅᴇ's Mᴇᴍᴏʀʏ
Barricade was driving right under Mazikeen as she flew,
"Squishy! Are you sure you don't want to come in?"
"Yes, I am,"
Barricade rolled his optics but chuckled as he drove. Then, there was a giant pop sound, and Mazikeen and Barricade looked up at the sky and saw a figure falling. Mazikeen gasped and immediately flew up,
"PHOENIX! HOW DO I CATCH THEM!"
"They are falling too fast. Grab them and fall with them, nose-dive, and then even out our wings!"
Mazikeen nodded, caught up with the falling person, and grabbed her,
"I GOT YOU!"
She took in the black hair and scars all over her face and body. She tipped them into a nose-dive and slowly opened up Phoenix's wings as they started to plummet down faster. She slowly angled their bodies and winced,
"CADE! WE ARE COMING IN TOO FAST! YOU NEED TO CATCH US!"
"KEEP GOING! I'LL CATCH YOU!"
Barricade sped up and transformed right before they crashed into the ground, catching the two in his servos as he put them closely to his chassis and groaned at the impact. Mazikeen groaned and put Phoenix away as Barricade turned on his holo-form to inspect the human on his chassis. Mazikeen put a hand on the young teenager,
"Hey, you okay?"
The person opened their eyes, and Mazikeen and Barricade gasped as they saw the Red and Turquoise eyes.
The girl immediately screamed and backed away from the two,
"Who are you?!"
Barricade rolled his eyes,
"We saved your life, show some gratitude,"
The person frowned,
"You saved me?"
Mazikeen nodded,
"Hell yeah, we did. What's your name, kid?"
"Hey! I'm not a kid. My name is Samantha Lim, but you can call me Sam or Ham. You?"
"Mazikeen Witwicky, but call me Maze,"
"Barricade,"
Eɴᴅ ᴏғ Mᴇᴍᴏʀʏ
He sped up and made sure to stay near them as they got closer to the ground. He looked ahead, and his optics widened,
"WINGS! PULL UP MORE! WATCH OUT FOR THE BUILDING!!!!"
He saw her start tilting to the side to get away from it and growled as he jumped off a ramp and transformed,
"This is going to fragging hurt,"
He opened his arms and felt the impact against his chassis as he crashed into the building with the two in his arms. Barricade groaned as he slowly opened his optics and immediately turned on his holo-form as he heard footsteps running toward him. He ran to where the two were as he made his servos set them on the floor gently,
"Mazikeen! Samantha!"
Samantha groaned as she rolled off of Mazikeen and slowly opened her eyes,
"Wha?"
Barricade softly helped her up and kept her steady,
"Put away your wings and tail,"
Samantha groaned and rubbed her eyes but did as he told her,
"Where? What? When? What the fuck?"
Barricade rolled his eyes and smiled at her,
"Welcome back to our Universe,"
Samantha groaned,
"That hurt like a mother fucker,"
Barricade sighed,
"Yeah, it did,"
They heard people yelling Mazikeen's name and turned to see Will, Eddie, Epps, Fig, Sam, Mikaela, Athena, Elisabeth, Alexandra, Rosalyn, and all the Autobots behind them. Samantha frowned in confusion,
"Who the fuck are you all?"
Barricade put a hand on her shoulder. Will was first to speak,
"Colonel William Lennox, who are you?"
Samantha glanced at Barricade for a moment but looked back at Will and stepped closer to him in the form of a greeting,
"Samantha Lim,"
Samantha's eyes widened as she remembered why she was there,
"Maze!"
Barricade looked at Will, Will understood and immediately put a hand on Samantha's shoulder,
"Hey, let's stand back and let Barricade handle this,"
Samantha frowned,
"B-But I helped her, right? Barricade? Barricade, please tell me I helped her,"
Barricade knelt down next to Mazikeen and put a hand on her shoulder,
"Mazikeen, wake up,"
No one spoke, only watched as a sense of dread fell onto them. Barricade shook his head and glared at her,
"Listen, Squishy. I did not just travel most of this stupid state or whatever it is called just for you to leave. You have to wake up right now or so help me, Primus, I will strangle you myself,"
He tried shaking her, but she didn't budge. He closed his eyes and leaned his forehead against hers,
"Mazikeen. Come back to us, wake up!"
He pulled on their bond and gripped it tightly,
"WAKE THE FRAG UP MAZIKEEN WITWICKY! WE NEED YOU STILL!"
He felt something move within him. Pain erupted from his arms, but he kept holding onto the bond. He felt a gust blow by him as he finally felt someone pull back on the bond,
"Barricade?"
"It's me, Squishy,"
"I don't feel anything...I don't feel the burns on my arms...I feel nothing,"
"Well, I sure as hell feel pain,"
"Let me take some of it,"
"No. You need to open your eyes, Squishy,"
"I'm tired,"
"I know, Squishy...but you have people waiting for you over here,"
"Who?"
"Everyone, Squishy, everyone,"
"Won't they be mad?"
"Squishy, no one can ever stay mad at you,"
"Awe, so you do have a spark,"
"Shut up, Squishy,"
"You are literally in my mind. How the frag can I shut up?"
"Wake up and show me!"
"FINE! Pushy ass bitch!"
Barricade opened his eyes and gasped when he saw that the mark on her collarbone was glowing. He looked down at his holo-form and spotted the mark that he had also glowing.
"What the frag?"
Mazikeen groaned and opened her eyes,
"Now I fucking feel it,"
Barricade smirked and held out his hand,
"Oh, cry about it,"
Mazikeen glared at him,
"Maybe I fucking will,"
She grabbed his hand, and he helped her up slowly. Mazikeen winced and groaned again,
"Oh, that's definitely at least one broken bone,"
Sam ran up to her and pulled her into a hug,
"I'm going to kill you the next time you scare me like that,"
Mazikeen laughed softly and hugged him back,
"Sorry, Sammy, but I simply can not die,"
Sam sighed and glared at her,
"Don't push me off a building,"
Alexandra glared at Mazikeen,
"Yeah! I had to catch his fat ass,"
Mazikeen laughed as Sam gasped at her,
"I know, but I knew you would catch him. That's why I did that,"
Alexandra frowned,
"How did you know I would?"
Mazikeen smirked,
"You really think I wouldn't have a back-up with Phoenix?"
Will walked up to her, and Mazikeen winced,
"Hey, Will, I told you it would work!"
Will glared at her and pulled her into a hug,
"You are on clean-up duty for a month,"
Mazikeen gasped,
"What the fuck! I am injured!"
Everyone slowly walked over to them, and Athena glared at her,
"I think lock-down would be better,"
Eddie smirked,
"Yeah, some nice ol' staying in the medical bay for a month,"
Mazikeen rolled her eyes,
"Jokes on you! Ratchet loves me!"
Ratchet raised his servos in neutrality,
"I do not!"
Mazikeen smirked at him,
"You liar! I know you already scanned me!"
Ratchet crossed his arms indignantly,
"You have third-degree burns on your arms still, four broken ribs, a sprained left wrist, and a concussion,"
Mazikeen nodded,
"Yessir!"
Eddie turned to her,
"BURNS??!!!!!"
Mazikeen winced and smiled nervously,
"Yesssss?"
Alexandra sighed,
"I thought you sprayed your arms?!"
Mazikeen shrugged,
"Listen, listen, I don't know what Amy and Jolt did,"
Jolt narrowed his optics at her,
"Hey! We used your spray, and the spray just didn't fix the entire skin,"
Ratchet looked at Jolt,
"How bad were the burns?"
Jolt looked down at his feet,
"First degree,"
Everyone looked at Jolt, and then Mazikeen, and Mazikeen shrugged,
"Wouldn't be the first time,"
Will face palmed,
"IT BETTER BE YOUR LAST!"
Fig sighed and wrapped his arm around her shoulder,
"Let's just go relax, have some fun, and party! We just defeated the Decepticons!"
Mazikeen slowly nodded,
"Okay, sure."
Mazikeen spotted Samantha to the side of everyone, watching as she usually does. Mazikeen walked over to her and pulled the girl into a hug,
"Thanks for coming, Ham,"
Samantha chuckled,
"Yeah, anytime, I kinda gotta stay for a bit...It took me a while to find this universe again,"
Mazikeen laughed,
"I thought that you could transport through dimensions more easily when you were there before?"
Samantha shrugged,
"I forgot which one you were in,"
Mazikeen chuckled and patted her head,
"Don't worry, kid, I'll make sure no one has any issues with it. Just keep your wings and tail hidden for now,"
Samantha smirked and saluted at her,
"Aye, aye, captain!"
Mazikeen laughed and nudged her,
"Come on,"
They slowly left the building and looked at the Autobots. Jazz knelt down in front of Mazikeen,
"Lil M, can we talk for a sec?"
Mazikeen immediately nodded and stepped into his servo,
"Of course,"
