Mazikeen walked up to Will and the director of National Intelligence, Charlotte Mearing,
"Director Mearing, Colonel Lennox,"
Mearing nodded her head,
"Commander Mynx,"
They stopped in front of Optimus,
"Optimus, you remember Charlotte Mearing? Our Director of National Intelligence?"
Mazikeen narrowed her eyes at the lack of a response from him. Mirage sighed,
"He's in a bad mood. He's-a not talking to anybody today."
Mearing crossed her arms as she glanced at Mirage,
"What is this, the silent treatment?"
Ironhide crossed his arms,
"We've seen that, and this is not that."
Que nodded,
"Definitely not. No silent treatment is ever like this,"
Ironhide growled,
"This is worse. Prime! Make something of yourself!"
He banged on Optimus's hood, and they stepped back as he transformed Ironhide whistled,
"He's pissed."
Optimus crouched down in front of Mearing, Will, and Mazikeen,
"You lied to us. Everything humans know of our planet we were told had all been shared. So why was this found in human possession?"
Mazikeen looked down, and Will touched her arm as he sensed her grief. Mearing stared back at Optimus,
"We were in the dark on this also. It was Director Only clearance at Sector Seven until now. The bag."
The small assistant looked at her,
"Which bag?"
Mearing sighed,
"Birkin. Green ostrich! My God... This is a secret few men knew, and fewer still remain alive. Allow me to please introduce to you two of NASA's founding mission directors and astronaut Dr. Buzz Aldrin, one of the first two men to step foot on the moon. Sir? Optimus Prime."
Mazikeen and Will looked in pure disbelief at what was unfolding in front of them. Buzz looked around in amazement at Optimus and Ironhide,
"From a fellow space traveler, it's a true honor."
Optimus nodded,
"The honor is mine,"
Mearing walked onto a raised platform,
"Our entire space race of the 1960's, it appears, was in response to an event."
A NASA official nodded,
"Our astronauts investigated a crashed alien ship. No survivors on board."
Buzz nodded and crossed his arms,
"We were sworn to secrecy by our Commander in Chief."
The official glanced between Mearing and Optimus,
"A total of thirty-five people knew the real plan at NASA."
He pointed to the part of the ship Optimus recovered,
"Soviets managed to land unmanned probes. Somehow, they must have... picked up that fuel rod."
Mearing nodded,
"We believe the Russians deduced that the rod was a fissionable fuel assembly, believed they had it mastered, and tried to harness it at Chernobyl."
Mazikeen frowned and stepped up,
"Director,"
Mearing turned to her,
"Yes?"
"The Russians had the technology. They had weapons that looked like Cybertronians forged them."
Mearing nodded,
"We will talk after,"
Mazikeen nodded her head. Another NASA official continued speaking,
"We landed six missions in all. We took hundreds of photos and samples. We locked them away forever when the moon program was shut down."
Ironhide crossed his arms,
"Well, did you search the crash vault?"
The NASA officials, Buzz, and Mearing all looked away from their optics. Optimus stepped closer to Mearing,
"The ship's name was the Ark. I watched it escape Cybertron myself. It was carrying an Autobot technology which would have won us the war. And... its captain."
He put a servo on the railing near Mearing as she stared at him,
"Who was the captain?"
"The great Sentinel Prime. The technology's inventor. He was commander of the Autobots before me. It's imperative that I find it before the Decepticons learn of its location. Our Autobot spacecraft has the ability to get there. And-"
He looked at Mazikeen,
"You must pray it's in time."
Mazikeen felt a spark of guilt hit her as she glanced away and Will put a hand on her shoulder gently. Mearing nodded,
"Go ahead with the operation. Commander Witwicky, follow me,"
Mazikeen nodded, and the two left. She glanced at her two brothers, who were looking at her with concern, but she shook her head at them. Charlotte looked at Mazikeen as they left. She told her assistant to stay back while she talked to the young commander.
"Mazikeen, what did you see out there? You went with the Autobots, I assume,"
Mazikeen nodded her head,
"Yes. I did. I believe that there is a mole in NEST, a human one-"
"We found him. Kaitlyn Simmons found him, and he is now in prison for life."
Mazikeen sighed in relief,
"Good. I saw the weapons firsthand. It was a lot, and I fear that some organizations are trying to replicate the weapons that the Cybertronians use,"
"Why use the term Cybertronians instead of Autobots?"
Mazikeen looked at her,
"Because, Charlotte, the weapons that Autobots use are also being used by Decepticons, they are universal to their species."
Charlotte nodded,
"Okay. Mazikeen. I want you to know something,"
"What?"
"If the Autobots act up more because of this newfound information and if you can no longer control them, I will be forced to strip you of your power. You will be only a Captain once more, maybe not even a Captain. You will no longer represent them, and we will find someone who can put them in line."
Mazikeen felt her heart freeze at the idea, but she nodded,
"Understood, sir,"
Charlotte nodded,
"Good. I will see you again when the Autobots come back from their expedition,"
Mazikeen nodded, and the two left. Que knelt down near her,
"You okay, young Maze?"
Mazikeen sighed and looked up at him with a soft smile,
"Yeah...I will be. I just need this drama to be over with,"
Que chuckled and patted her head softly with his servo,
"Optimus and Ratchet just left to go to your moon. Why don't you go talk to Sunstreaker and Sideswipe? They wouldn't stop looking over to where you left with the director,"
Mazikeen sighed and nodded,
"Okay, thanks, Que,"
Que smiled and nodded his head,
"You are welcome, Maze. You should also try talking to Jazz. The fella was worrying us with all his worrying over you,"
Mazikeen sighed,
"Yeah, we spoke yesterday,"
Que smirked and narrowed his optics at her,
"And?"
Mazikeen sighed,
"Well, he gave me this lil speech about being careful and how he was gonna try harder to protect me,"
Que chuckled and nodded his head,
"Youngling, in all my time alive, I have never seen anythin like the bonds you have formed with us. I have never felt a bond like the one I have with ya, and I know that Jazz and you have somethin special,"
Mazikeen sighed and looked down at the ground,
"Thanks, Que...but...maybe in another life,"
Que frowned,
"What's stoppin you in this life?"
Mazikeen smiled up at him sadly,
"I won't be your liaison for long,"
Que frowned,
"What do you mean?"
"As soon as Optimus and Ratch come back...I'll be stripped of my stripes and the position of Liaison...I just know it...So, when they come back, please watch over my brothers, Jazz, and my son. I know you all will fight for me. But I don't want you to. Accept it the way it is like I am. I'll still fight for all of you until I die, just don't forget that,"
Que sighed,
"Mazikeen. None of us want you to die. You will survive this war just like we all hope to do,"
Mazikeen patted his foot,
"Not to worry, I've been fighting my entire life, and I won't stop,"
Que smiled,
"I know you won't,"
Mirage appeared near them and smiled at Mazikeen,
"Maze, where is Angel? She usually comes by,"
Mazikeen smirked and patted his foot,
"Don't you worry. She got a lil busy watching over some training, and she's on her way,"
Mirage smiled,
"Thank you,"
Mazikeen laughed,
"You are welcome,"
Will finally caught up to her and grabbed her arm gently,
"Hey, Sunstreaker and Sideswipe wouldn't stop bothering me, saying something was wrong. What's up?"
Mazikeen sighed and looked at him,
"Nothing too big to worry about,"
Will narrowed his eyes at her,
"Mynx,"
Mazikeen sighed,
"Okay, okay...Mearing said that if the Autobots pull one more quick-one on us...that she's gonna terminate my position as the liaison and take away my stripes,"
Will gasped,
"Mynx-"
"It's fine. I just have to have faith in them, right?"
Will sighed and pulled her into a brief hug,
"Optimus will do the right thing,"
Mazikeen sighed,
"I sure as hell hope so."
Will sighed,
"Come on, let's get you to your brothers,"
Mazikeen allowed him to drag her over to Sunstreaker and Sideswipe. The two immediately transformed into their alt-modes and turned on their holo-forms to hug her. Mazikeen chuckled in the hug and gladly returned it,
"Hey,"
Sideswipe frowned,
"What is it?"
Mazikeen shook her head,
"Let's not think about it,"
Sunstreaker narrowed his eyes at her,
"Aero,"
Mazikeen shook her head,
"Sh, it's okay. Let's just stay like this,"
They said nothing more as they hugged. Mazikeen couldn't help but feel the sinking feeling in her chest, and she knew that Sunstreaker, Sideswipe, Barricade, and Tex felt it.
"Okay, so we going to talk about it?"
"What?"
"The way that Jazz has not taken his eyes off of you since you came into the room,"
Mazikeen's eyes widened,
"What?"
Sideswipe rolled his eyes,
"Aero, we love you. But there is no way in Primus that you don't notice that,"
Mazikeen shrugged and looked around to spot Jazz speaking to Jolt and Ironhide while glancing over at her every few minutes,
"Okay, but he has just been on edge since I got captured again,"
Sunstreaker rolled his eyes,
"You should have seen him when we learned that Vincent was the one to kidnap you. Ironhide had to hold him back while Bluestreak was already punching him. Will and Eddie had to drag Bluestreak off of him,"
"They actually got him off?"
Sideswipe smirked,
"They waited until Vincent was unconscious before getting him off,"
Mazikeen chuckled softly and sighed,
"Yeah, I don't know what's got into Jazz lately, he's been acting weird,"
Sunstreaker crossed his arms,
"Weird how?"
Mazikeen shrugged,
"He's been hyper-protective, which is understandable, but I think he hasn't been recharging that well lately. Which is starting to concern me."
Sideswipe and Sunstreaker shared a look before facepalming,
"What? What is it?"
Sunstreaker sighed,
"You are hopelessly clueless,"
"Even as a human, you should not be this blind,"
Mazikeen gasped,
"What the fuck?"
They were interrupted by Phoenix landing right next to Mazikeen,
"Did you miss me?"
Mazikeen laughed and held out her hand,
"Yes, I did. These two are calling me blind,"
Phoenix shrugged,
"You are,"
Sunstreaker and Sideswipe laughed as Mazikeen's jaw dropped,
"What the fuck!"
Phoenix chuckled,
"I say that with, as you love to say, with much love, but you are clueless,"
Mazikeen rolled her eyes, and Phoenix went back into her device which landed on Mazikeen's hand and she promptly put it to her chest,
"You three are bullies,"
Sunstreaker chuckled,
"You will get over it,"
Sideswipe nodded,
"Once you become less clueless,"
Mazikeen glared at them and walked away with a dramatic huff. She could have said something to her brothers but she held back her smart remark because she wanted to surprise them with it,

Hi everyone! I swear you won't get tired of me :D. I wanted to make it clear that there will be a couple of changes to the movie. I hated that Sam and Mikaela broke up, I understood why, but at the same time, gr. So, Carly is still going to play a role but not as Sam's girlfriend. She just became friends with Mikaela and Sam when they were BOTH getting medals. Mikaela is a boss-ass bitch, and I love her. And questions, feel free to ask :)
