The sun slowly rised as the warm colors lit the sky, light filling the bounty which still flew through the sky. The battle yesterday being somewhat forgotten as the peaceful morning began. They had finished cleaning up the corridor of elders and were planning on setting for home.
Boboiboy--who happened to be one of the first few awake--stood at the deck of the ship, resting his head in his arms as he watched the sun rise and relished the beautiful scenery, the cold air picking at his.
He'd then look down at the new clothes he was given from the night before, still feeling a lot more clean from the much needed shower from the night before. Lloyd had given him some green pajama pants that has some platypus with a pant imprints on it, and jay had given him a sea-blue long sleeve shirt with a cloud imprint on it.
They were nice, and he was more than thankful that they were even letting him stay. But they did say he was part of the team now so.. mabey he should just, let it be?
"Good to see I'm not the only early bird on the team now" a voice spoke, with boboiboy turning only to be greeted by none other than jay; cup of coffee in hand.
"Oh! Morning jay" boboiboy said, hand on his chest as he took a moment to breath; the other having scared him for a minute there. "Mornin', also sorry if I scared you.. I tend to do that sometimes" jay replied, walking beside the other and leaning against the top of the bulwark.
"So.. you're the first one up normally?" Boboiboy decided to ask, looking over to the other and not having much of a struggle since jay wasn't actually that much taller than him. "Yep, although sometimes nya or zane wake up earlier than normal too, but most the time its just me.. soo, whats your reason for waking up this early anyway?" He'd reply, genuinely curious why someone boboiboys age would wake up this early.
"Uh- well when I get the chance I do sleep in.. but I guess lately I've just been too used to waking up early that it's just like normal.. you know?.. normally back at TAPOPS I'd get forced to wake up early and when I was training with tok kasa it was just as early! If not mor----..but, I would have to do the same.. so.. I think that's why" boboiboy explained, before realizing that he was rambling again.
"Sorry for rambling..." he'd continue, with jay simply laughed and gently elbowing the younger's shoulder. "Don't worry about it! The others normally joke about me being the "chatter box" of the group anyway, I'm used to it... so.. what's TAPOPS anyway?" Jay asked out of curiosity.
Boboiboy smiled brightly, and the rest of the morning went by faster than he expected, not even thinking about the homesickness he felt before, or the worry of him being a problem from before.

"Look out!! Tamagoyaki comin' in hot!!" Kai exclaimed, tumbling through the door and almost dropping the plate of rolled fried eggs as he did. Only to thankfully slide them onto the wooden top of the Kotatsu as he slide on his back after actually falling.
Zane would simply laugh as he stepped inside the room--tray of food in hand--soon after kai, with the others laughing with him at kais clumsiness. "Well I did warn you not to rush" Zane commented, with kai moving from a laying position into a siting one as he rubbed the back of his head. "Yeah, yeah. I know zane" he'd mumble in response.
Zane would soon sit-down beside kai, placing the tray down on the table with the rest of the breakfast. And after a prayer, they ate.
"So, I'm guessing you all already suspect what you will be doing today?" Wu asked, only to get multiple groans in response and a very confused no. Misako shaked her head, before pouring some more tea into her cup and doing the same for wu's and nya's; who happened to be beside her.
"I don't get it.. is there something bad happening today?" Boboiboy questioned, going through his memories for anything that could've gone wrong in their last battle. "No kid.. just cleanup duty.." kai admitted with a sigh.
Boboiboy simply gave kai a look, "well that's great! We should help them!" Boboiboy said only for kai to whisper in his ear "it's not that we don't want to help, infact we'd love to.. it's just our sensei.. goes a little over the top with it and uses it as a chance to train us till we break". Which only made boboiboys face contort into a mix of realization and fear.
"Well seeing as you all know, eat up. It will be a long day ahead of us" and with that wu took a final sip of his tea before getting up and walking out the room.

Their first stop was at ninjagos theme park, or at least one of their more famous ones that just so happened to be one of the snakes targets. It was fully day now, with there still being a small cold nip in the early morning air.
As for the theme park itself, rides were partly broken by seeming left alone after a bit of destruction. Anything holding food was ransacked, with other things being straight up ruined and raided. Overall the theme park was in a mostly mess as nobody really focused on cleaning it up; people would mostly focus on their villages/cities and homes after all.
As for boboiboy himself, he couldn't help but look down at his new attire, while he was wearing the same blue long-sleeve from earlier; which he managed to keep on despite the others constant denial. He was given some cargo pants that lloyd happened to have, with the addition of his original boots he had beforehand; which he was thankful that they weren't too messed up after all that. And finally upon his head was his iconic orange dino hat.
"Okay! Let's get teaming out the way shall we?" Lloyd announced, not wasting time and turning towards their newly reformed and updated group. "Cole, zane, you two think you can handle the heavy lifting?" Lloyd said, and not surprisingly getting the response "are you kidding?!" From cole, who was already aware of how strong he was; he was the elemental master of earth for cryin' out loud! Zane however, nodded "I think I can make do" he'd calmly reply.
Lloyd nodded, "okay, then you two focus on the rides, mainly the metal ones first" he'd instruct, and with that the duo were on their way.
"Jay, you and nya can work on anything technical.. and kai can go with you two to clean up any actual damage nearby" lloyd said, knowing how kai acted with jay being around his sister and making sure to stop him from yelling about jay being paired With her; as she had only tagged along to help "lighten" the blow of overloading work wu planning to put on them.
With the trio leaving it was just lloyd and boboiboy remaining, "and we'll be focusing on cleaning up anything torn or messed up" lloyd explained, with Boboiboy nodded in response; just glad to be able to interact with another one of the ninja he hadn't interacted much with.
And it wasn't long till their cleanup began, with boboiboy working alongside lloyd. Apparently from what the green ninja had told him wu would be checking up on them every once in a while; which while it was worrying it might help.
Now that he thought about it, he hadn't actually helped clean up after a fight like this in a while.. normally it would be chaos. Gopal whining only for fang to yell at him, Yaya and ying making a challenge out of it to see who could whatever job they were assigned better; only for the duo to go from being competitive to telling each other they did better than themself and hugging it out.
Boboiboy sighed, he couldn't help it. With all the drama before regarding chen and the tournament of elements he hadn't been able to think about how homesick he actually was. "Are you okay boboiboy?.. you've sort of spaced out for a minute there" lloyd asked, while he was dealing with his own problems regarding the recent loss of his dad, it was better to look out for someone else who was having his own issues with being somewhere unknown to him than leave him be.
"Huh?.. I did?" The elemental user replied, having been carrying some of the torn up carpet-like fabric that once belonged to some of the food-stands tents. "Sorry.. just some memories.. it's no big deal though!" Boboiboy continued, although he did have an idea on how to make this a lot easier for them.
"Boboiboy, you don't have to-" lloyd started, in an attempt to get boboiboy to explain, only for the other to cut him off. "Elemental Power! Boboiboy cyclone!" He'd exclaim, changing to cyclone and using his wind manipulation to blow the fabric around and into a pile.
Lloyd sighed, he supposed him trying to get boboiboy to tell him the truth could wait.

"Annnd done!" Cyclone said, lifting the last piece of fabric he could find onto the pile, and just in time too as sensei wh approached the duo with one peticular goal set in his mind.
Now with the knowledge of thorn and quake being able to create their own elemental dragons wu wanted to focus on getting the rest of boboiboys elementals--aswell as hopefully boboiboy himself--to do so too. But of course, he was wise and knew that it would of course come in due time, so instead he focused on teaching the elemental user spinjitzu for now as it would help as a safety net for whatever setbacks his powers could infac5 have; after all, nobody could have that much power and not have something bad happen as a result. As for lloyd, wu wanted lloyd to manly help boboiboy to get a better understanding at his new teammate.
"Soo what exactly are we doing?" Cyclone asked, standing beside lloyd, it might be best to note now that the shirt jay had given boboiboy was now a short sleeve with the cloud imprint on it now having a tornado imprint as if the tornado formed from the cloud, his cargo pants did shorten to knee height and weren't sagging over his boots like before.
"Right, boboiboy, do you happen to have any problems with your powers? I simply want to know now so I don't make such a mistake later" wu asked, with Cyclone nodding and not surprising wu in the slightest. "Other than the energy drain--which I guess is natural after a fight--there is one issue.. if I split for too long i-er the others too i guess, suffer from memory loss" he explained.
"Wait- so like after you're done spliting and you had split for too long you forget? Or is it during?" Lloyd asked, somewhat confused. "During, it kinda starts off as small things but really it can be a big problem if i--er the others--don't merge back" Cyclone replied, much to Lloyd's concern.
"I see.. well if that's the case..." wu started, brusing his beard with his hand as he thought for a moment. "While I was originally planing to try and get you and the others to learn--the elementals of course--how to create your own elemental dragons, that could wait, after all there is another thing I was planning to teach you" wu continued, much to cyclones confusion.

"SPINJITZU?!"
Boboiboy was shocked to say the least, looking upon the makeshift course from the broken material. Mabey kai was right about him suffering today, but he supposed it would be kinda worth it...
"Well this will be interesting" Cole commented, as him and the others were somewhat done working and after hearing what their sensei planning, couldn't help but watch the youngers suffering. With the group sitting amongst some of the piled up trash that they needed to throw away nearby.
"Lloyd, a demonstration please" wu asked, with the green ninja nodded before running toward to go through the course. Leaping ontop of metal piles that they had scoured from the once messy amusement park, and dodging some spinning wooden contraptions that jay and nya had worked on; and the such. Before finally ending the course after jumping off a spinning wheel that was lay down on the ground.
Of course lloyd did contemplate on whether or not to use actually spinjitzu afters to be a bit of a show-off, but he decided against it as he was only showing boboiboy how to get past the course, nothing more.
Sensei wu would then begin to walk away, sitting down on a red mat before picking up the kettle of tea he so happened to have beside him. |"where did he even get that??"| the elemental hero couldn't help but think out of confusion and curiosity.
"Now then, you must complete the course before I finish my tea" wu explained, pouring some of the green tea inside the kettle into the teacup he happened to bring with him. Boboiboy nodded, even almost doing the TAPOPS salute again. However before he could start the course, wu raised a hand to stop him.
"There is one more thing you must know, you cannot use your elementals for this course. The others, have done the same without theirs and you should be able to fight even without your elements, not to mention whatever knowledge you have will most likely fade onto them like a river into a lake" wu explained, with boboiboy nodding his head understandingly.
"Hey, don't worry boboiboy, it might take a few.... okay, mabey more that a few trys! but, you'll get it eventually" lloyd spoke up, placing a hand on boboiboys shoulder and trying to best to hype him up. Meanwhile the orange hero sighed, "right, just don't laugh at me if I fail" he asked, with lloyd laughing and giving boboiboy a fist bump. "No promises" lloyd said before finally leaving, with boboiboy rolling his eyes at that.
"You sure he'll be okay? I mean, he's younger than us" Cole commented, laying chest down ontop the rubble they were on. "Oh come on, you don't believe in the kid?" Kai remarked, sitting upright with his back laying against some rubble. "No, no, of course not!.. I'm just saying.." Cole instantly replied, waving his hands in a sort of "im sorry" motion.
"Come on guys, im sure he'll do fine! We just gotta try our best to cheer him on!" Lloyd said, walking up to the group before sitting down in the spot between kai and cole. "After all he's around the same age as me soo" lloyd started, with Cole commenting "yeah, but you technically have the same age as us". Only for the earth ninja to be cut off by nya waving her hand in his face--as she happened to be sitting beside him--while saying "that's enough you guys! He's about to start!!".
Boboiboy held his breathe for a moment before exhaling, he could do this, he had too. He also couldn't help but hear the others cheering him on in the background, but decided to stay focused on the task at hand. He then sprinted foward and onto the first spinning wheel, avoiding the first swinging object--most likely a hanging piece of tied up cloth--before jumping over the next.
After avoiding another one of the swinging objects on the wheel, jumped off and into the mass of rotating wooden objects that so happened to have sticks attached to them. But without a 2nd thought the orange hero continued foward, avoiding most of them until he reached the end of that one.
He had the misfortune of a few of them hitting him on his arm, back, & leg, but he was still able to keep going. Jumping onto the next spinning wheel he had not choice but to deal with a different verison from the one before. Only this time there were more wheels with a sort of curved piece of wood attached to it; for safety reasons.
With boboiboy managing to get past it he jumped onto the next obstacle and continued to jump from one metal pile to another.
"First spinjitzu master be damned he's actually doing it!!" Cole exclaimed, getting up and yelling "yeah kiddo!! Keep going!!" while raising his fist in the air. Zane would simply chuckle in response, "looks like someone's happy" he commented.
"Well can you blame him? I don't think any of us got that far on the first try.. except for mabey zane and lloyd" kai replied, although mumbling the last part.
After hearing cole's yelling behind him, boboiboy couldn't help by look back at the group, smiling as he saw cole cheering and even pulling up jay and kai to help him do so.
"Wait.. BOBOIBOY LOOK OUT!!" Kai yelled, with the elemental boy seemed confused only to turn around at get hit by a cushion-like object. Resulting in him getting almost launched off the course and hitting the sandy ground of the theme park.
While the group of ninja freaked out and went down to get if the youngest was okay after getting hit pretty hard, wu couldn't help but sigh. While it was going pretty well, you couldn't expect it to be that easy on someone's first try; even if there were someone as powerful as the kid.
"Hey kid you okay??" Kai asked, sliding to a stop a kneeling down to check up on the younger, who simply coughed and moved to sit upright before coughing out a mass of sand. "Yuck, I got it in my mouth!!" Boboiboy remarked, trying his best to get the sand out his mouth only to little success.
The others couldn't help but somewhat laugh at boboiboys sandy misery, with kai eventually sighing and helping the younger up. "Alright, alright, jay can you get a water bottle?" The fire ninja requested, with jay walking away while saying "already on it".
While boboiboy was still spitting out sand, wu had already managed to get up and walk over to the others. Coughing, the sensei managed to grab the ninjas attention much to his delight.
"I suppose you know what mistakes you made?" Wu asked, with boboiboy nodded. "I lost my focus for a minute and foward about that stupid thing in the middle of course... and now I got a face full of sand" he replied, with wu quietly chuckling at how the younger ended it.
Boboiboy sighed, however wu shook his head. "Now then, do not let your failures bring you sorrow, after all, your mistakes and misshaps are what can lead you to your success.. if one cannot see the progress they made, one cannot see what the future has in store" wu explained, turning to walk back to his spot.
"We shall continued to train with the course until you're able to fully complete it, but for now take a minute.. after all.. you still have sand in your mouth" wu continued, with boboiboy only then remembering the very situation at hand and spiting more sand out much to the others amusement.
"Now then, as for the result of you take his moment to rest aswell.. we aren't done after all" wu remarked, much to the rest of the groups fear.
And with that he simply walked away, just in time for jay to return, water bottle in hand.

It was sun-set by now, with the sky a warm mix of blue, yellow and pinks. The theme park was actually clean by now, and while wu had left to discuss any problems they had found to the owner of said park. The ninja were left to take a break, however lloyd and boboiboy were still training despite the cleanup being done.
"I don't get it... I completed the course.. so how the heck is that going to help me well.. you know?" Boboiboy commented, raising his arm to block a not too hard hit from lloyd.
The elemental hero had actually completed the course! And it only took him, what?.. 3 hours and mabey 40 to 45 tries? Either way the course did get hauled off with the rest of the junk in the end.
The green ninja sighed, lowering his head to avoid a hit to the head before sliding to the side to move behide boboiboy. The dino hat wearing child would attempt to back-slap lloyd only for his hand to be caught by the green ninja.
Lloyd smiled, "you'll see, just... think about doing the steps without the course?" He'd say, with boboiboy looking down to think about it. Allowing the green ninja to drop kick him, tripping the hero up and kicking him back and onto the ground.
While boboiboy regained his sense of breathing after that, lloyd held a hand out to help the other back up. Once he had pulled the other up he said "just don't think about it to much dino-boy, you'll get it eventually".
"Wait- I'm sorry dino-boy??" Boboiboy questioned immediately, with lloyd laughing at the others reaction. "What you don't like it? I mean" the green ninja would smirk before getting ahold of the hero's hat much to the others dislike. "I mean, you do wear this... how do it look?" Lloyd continued, putting the hat on his hat like how boboiboy would wear it.
While the other was somewhat upset about how the other had done it, he couldn't help but laugh at the face lloyd was making while he had his hat on. "Alright, you look stupid.. now give me my hat back!" Boboiboy replied, managing to snatch the hat from the green ninja, before placing it back in its rightful place on his head.
"Hey guys!! We're heading back to the bounty now!!" Nya called out, with lloyd yelling back "yeah, we'll be there in a minute".
"Well.. looks like it's time to go bbb" the green ninja comment, sighing. However, the elemental hero had another thing in mind. As lloyd started walking foward he couldn't help but hear something behind him with a faint glow, only to turn around to witness a small spinning orange tornado approaching him.
"What the-" lloyd exclaimed, no wasting at time to move back. However the tornado started to deform before vanishing completely, with boboiboy falling foward and onto the ground.
The duo went silent for a moment, "did you jus-" lloyd started only to get cut off by boboiboy "yeah.. i did..". The duo then started to smile, "how did you do that?!" Lloyd exclaimed, helping boboiboy onto his feet. "I don't know! I just thought I'd mimic what you guys normally do any..." boboiboy replied.
"Haha! You did it!!" The green ninja repeated, with the duo at this point sounding like two little girls who had discovered something new.
"We gotta tell the others!" The elemental hero exclaimed, not wasting any time to run foward with lloyd following behind. "Hey! Wait up!"

Kai and the others had just helped haul some of the supplies that the owner had given them as payment for their help with Cole. When nya had walked up to the duo, "you did tell those two we were going right?" The earth ninja asked, placing the wooden box he was holding down and turning to face the other.
"Yeah.. though i do think something happened.. could've sworn I heard those two squealing like little girls" nya replied, and she couldn't help but laugh at the thought of what on earth had those two freaking out.
"Speak of the oni" kai said, noticing the duo running towards the bounty, sometimes falling and sometimes jumping while yelling something to the other. "Pft, something crazy must have happened if those two are reacting like that" jay commented, walking up to the trio with zane as they had just finished working on getting the bounty ready to go.
"Guys!! You won't believe what happened!!" Lloyd exclaimed, climbing over the side of the ship, with boboiboy following behind. "Alright, alright, calm down, what could have been soo impor-" Cole began only to be cut off by lloyd yelling "boboiboy used spinjitzu!!".
There was a bit of silence for a moment after that before kai exclaimed a stretched out "WHAT?!". "Oh boy..." nya muttered, although happy for bobiboy managing to do so.. she knew how her brother would react; she had seen him do this before after all.
"No way you did?!" "That's amazing" "Good job kiddo" were the things said by the other ninja only for kai to catch them of guard by picking up the younger and pulling him close. "I can't believe you did it.. and I missed it!!" Kai exclaimed, putting boboiboy back down and over-dramaticly falling onto cole. Who simply dropped the fire ninja and smirked, with jay laughing at the other on the deck.
"Has he done this before?" Before asked, turning to nya who nodded as a yes. She could act upset at her brother all she liked, but she couldn't help but laugh when kai kept on the act on the ground.
"What's all the commotion about?" Another voice spoke, with the owner of the voice being none other than their sensei wu. "Sensei, you won't believe what happened! Boboiboy used spinjitzu" Zane said, helping kai up. "Dude are you crying" Cole whispered to kai who spat back "no! You are!" Before falling face foward onto the deck again.
"You broke him" jay whispered to cole, resulting it the earth ninja wacking the lightning one in the back of the head. Meanwhile kai simply groaned in pain on the ships deck.
Meanwhile wu had walked towards boboiboy, "is that so?" The elder asked, with the elemental hero replying "Yes sir..".
Wu closed his eyes as he thought for a moment before a faint smile appeared on his face and he opened them. "I see, then we shall continue to train until you can fully use spinjitzu" wu explained, with lloyd swinging an arm over the elemental boys neck afterwards.
"Now then you all enjoy yourself, I believe we are done for the day" with that wu left, and with another thing accomplished who knew what the future had in store!

FINALLY, I think the issue with this chapter is I didn't exactly know what to do.. I know it isn't a lot but I hope it was good enjoy for you guys!!
But the next chapter will sure be something!.. I mean.. :) no spoilers...
Anyway, I thought it might be nice to have some chapter regarding boboiboy obtaining some ability as I couldn't think of a way to show boboiboy obtaining any other elemental dragons! T-T
But they still will show up, just after a Timeskip!
