Me and Olhade kept our gazes locked in an intense staredown for a small bit, before I quickly created the Venomous Scythe and infused it with 'Abyss Magic'. Afterwards I spun the scythe in a fancy manner, before swinging it behind me.
Olhade sharpened his glare towards me, getting a tighter grip on his swords handle, before taking a more suitable position to start a battle in.
And then, after a couple of more seconds passed by, me and Olhade launched at eachother - my scythe and his sword clanging loudly and sending an intense wind from our weapons meet point.
The fight had begun.
Me and Olhade began to exchange blows with our weapons, neither of us using any skills or magic during this time.
The reason for the lack of magic and skills probably was because Olhade wanted to see what I can do in a fight without any 'fancy tricks' before he began using any of his magic and skills that I was able to observe while he fought against Wezrall and Odale.
That being said - even without his skills and magic, he was very powerful.
I was barely managing to overpower him in terms of physical strength, which I suppose meant that when it came to stats - he most likely outclassed me.
As we continued exchanging blows, we also began to move around the 'battlefield' - leaping from one place to another while keeping up the pressure on eachother by not giving any breathing room.
It was slowly beginning to get repetitive.
However, eventually I managed to break an opening at Olhade, immediately activating my 'Limitless Acceleration' skill to strike his armour, which not only sent him flying back, but also left a significant mark on his armour.
However, it seems as though luck wasn't on my side, as the damage that I managed to leave onto his armour immediately disappeared as the mark healed in a strange morphing way.
Then, Olhade laughed, standing up tall as I landed back onto the ground a bit away from him.
[Olhade] "Impressive - you managed to not only spot an opening to attack me in, but also managed to do it quickly enough for me to not notice.... Very impressive."
He stated, before tightening his grip on the swords handle. Afterwards, a crimson black aura appeared around him.
I quickly braced. It seems like the repetitive method of exchanging blows was now over and we had made to utilisation of our skills.
This crimson black aura though....
I didn't quite understand what exactly it was supposed to be.
However, I didn't have much time to think about it, as Olhade launched himself at me with even greater speed than before.
I quickly sunk into my own shadow, dodging the incoming strike before leaping out of a shadow behind Olhade and attempting a downward strike, only for Olhade to quickly turn around towards me and successfully parry the attack.
My eyes slightly narrowed as I scuffed.
[Olhade] "It'll take more than just a fancy Teleportation trick to beat me-"
He stated, before being struck from the side - sending him into a tree. In the split second that I entered my shadow, I had quickly used my skill 'Dupe' to create a perfect duplication of myself that would leap out of a different shadow, incase Olhade had blocked my attack.
In other words - I had predicted the parry and created a counter measure for it.
I quickly made the duplication disappear, as Olhade got back up and brushed off his armour.
[Olhade] "A sneak attack... You knew I would block your attack, didn't you?"
I shrugged with a slightly smug expression.
"Who knows?"
I replied before taking a defensive position. Olhade scuffed under his helmet, before the light damage on his armour faded and he launched himself at me once more - attempting to go in straight for my head.
This move confused me, as I didn't understand why still decided to keep up close range combat even though we had begun using our skills...
Well, it didn't matter.
As soon as Olhade got close enough, I quickly used 'Shadow Manipulation' to call out a Shadow Beast, that pummeled Olhade up high into the air, before catching up with him and beginning to pummel him around in the air.
After a small bit, the shadow beast punched Olhade back into the ground, before landing infront of me. This shadow beast that I had just summoned was a bit different from the others.
It was more human like - it was build like a human, looked like a human and was the size of a human. He also was also dressed like some sort of 'ninja' which was because I simply thought it would look cool.
Being able to choose what your shadow beasts look like is very neat. Well... To some extent anyway.
Olhade climbed out of the small crater that had been left by him after crashing into the ground, before laughing lightly.
[Olhade] "Interesting... So you can summon creatures to do your bidding.."
He stated, before standing up tall and raising his sword up into the air, as the crimson black aura engulfed it as well, before making its blade morph into a much bigger sword - one that greatly resembled a Great Sword.
Afterwards, he launched himself into the air, before coming crashing down onto me and the Shadow 'Ninja'.
I quickly leapt back, while the Shadow Ninja leapt into the air as Olhade crashed into the ground with a heavy impact.
Afterwards the Ninja attempted to strike Olhade from the back, only to be completely skewered by Olhade, who created multiple crimson black spikes from his back.
After the Shadow Ninja disappeared into the air, Olhade looked towards me, before dashing at me, beginning to swing his now Great Sword around like some sort of a light feather.
Or... With ease - if you want to describe it like that.
I was managing to evade the swings with relative ease, however there were a couple of close calls as the speed at which Olhade attacked seemed to had increased.
After a bit of Olhade attacking relentlessly and me dodging, I decided to stop being a coward and used 'Limitless Acceleration' to quickly get behind Olhade, activating 'Black Hell-Storm' at point blank range, as it absolutely desimated the area where Olhade was standing.
I remained in the air using my 'Overworld Detection' to try and see if he tanked the attack or dodged it, however out of nowhere Olhade grabbed me by my arm before throwing me away into a tree, making me drop my Scythe in the process as it disappeared.
After that, Olhade pushed through the smoke results of the 'Black Hell-Storm' - his armour looking like there had been absolutely nothing done to it - not even a scratch was present in it.
After he walked a bit closer towards me, I got back up onto my feet.
[Olhade] "Impressive show of skill, if I have to say. You're definitely not to be underestimated."
He laughed lightly under his helmet.
[Olhade] "But what will you do if I step up the difficulty of this fight?"
He asked, as a light grey shine covered his entire body for a second, before dissipating. I scuffed before using 'Limitless Acceleration' to dash past him, using my physical strength to rip off his arm. Or at least... That's what should have happened.
Instead, Olhades arm remained intact, while the right arm of my fake human body suddenly flew off, causing my eyes to widen as I gasped in shock and leapt back, away from Olhade.
Wezrall, Odale, Iyka and Frindel who were all still watching the fight, also slightly gasped to themselves upon seeing this.
I shed a sweat, as Olhade turned around to face me, laughing lightly under his helmet again.
'What the hell was that? I thought I ripped off his arm...'
You did... However, it seems like it backfired.
What?
How is that even- wait...
That Light Grey glow...
I looked at Olhade with a serious expression.
"That what happened just now... Is it some kind of reflection skill?"
Olhade looked a bit surprised.
[Olhade] "Impressive, you caught on fast."
He then stabbed his sword into the ground next to him.
[Olhade] "You are correct - it is my Individual Skill 'Reflection'. Once I activate it, all damage I sustain will automatically be reflected back at the one who caused the damage. Or in other words..."
"You're completely untouchable..."
I finished his statement for him, which caused Olhade to laugh before picking up his sword once more.
[Olhade] "Now then... Have at me!"
He shouted dashing at me.
I quickly restored the lost arm of the fake body before leaping back, beginning to dodge each of Olhades consecutive attacks.
This was bad - I was practically forced to only dodge or block, I couldn't damage him at all if all damage would be reflected.
'Ancient One, find a way to beat Olhades reflection skill.'
Already on it Master.
I need you to last out a bit longer against him.
Last out?
That's easier said than done. Olhade was getting faster and more accurate with every single swing of his sword. While continuing to dodge and lasting against Olhade while the Ancient One finishes his calculations wasn't very hard on the surface level, the simple fact that I wasn't able to anything that would damage him even a little bit, made this task a bit hard.
I quickly used 'Shadow Manipulation' to create some distance between me and Olhade, while the Cursed Paladin crashed his sword into the ground, cracking the earth underneath him.
Frindel got a little more pissed, while Wezrall and Odale looked more concerned.
[Wezrall] "This is bad... Maybe we should intervene-"
[Odale] "No, remember what Lord Faofa said. No matter how bad the situation gets, we are to not get involved."
Wezrall sighed, stepping back a bit, while Frindel puffed up her cheeks lightly in annoyance.
[Frindel] "That's such an annoying order..."
Odale sighed.
While he himself was worried about Faofa, he also had enough faith in him to come out on top against Olhade.
Meanwhile, I had figured out something. The summoned Shadow Beasts didn't count as a part of me, so all damage they dealt to Olhade would reflect onto them not me.
I was using this knowledge to my advantage and continuously summoned a Shadow Beast after a Shadow Beast, keeping Olhade busy while the Ancient One continued his calculations.
'Kinda running out of time here Ancient One—!'
Quite literally.
My Magical Energy was beginning to start dropping fast, from the amount of Shadow Beasts I was continuously summoning.
Give me a little bit more time - I am almost done.
Little bit more time?!
I'm struggling over here to keep him away from me and you're telling me to keep buying you time?!
I scuffed eventually, as Olhade easily ripped through all the summoned Shadow Beasts and before I could summon more to face him, closed the distance between us in an instant.
I scuffed again, before deciding to play a little gamble.
"Go Ifrit- incinerate my enemy!"
I shouted, before activating my Arc skill. Blue flames shot from my body, before forming into the knight spirit who immediately roared before creating a halberd of blue flames and blocking Olhades strike.
Olhade looked a bit surprised, as he struggled to overpower Ifrit. I landed a bit away of the duo, looking towards them with a cold stare.
[Olhade] "So... You command the Demon King of Flames huh..? Interesting..."
He stated, before letting go of the locked state and with a spinning slash, easily striking Ifrit down in one attack, causing Ifrit to retreat to my body quicker than I had expected.
[Olhade] "But it's not enough!"
He stated, leaping in towards me, before unleashing a massive explosion that turned into a massive tornado of black lightning which then morphed into a giant light pillar, which lit up the entire area around.
The followers of Faofa and Kio watched in shock as the pillar slowly disappeared, leaving a smoke screen. For a couple of seconds, it was silent. Everyone watched in anticipation to see what was the outcome from that intense attack.
Then, a silhouette pushed through the smoke, revealing the one to have survived, being Olhade, who pushed through the smoke and stood tall - uninjured as he looked down at the dome that the others were inside of.
Wezrall and the others immediately gasped, in disbelief that their master had been defeated.
Olhade just let out a loud laughter, while Frindel was beginning to fume with rage.
[Olhade] "Your master is dead! Now then.. who wants to face me next?!"
He shouted loudly, awaiting an answer. The others tensed up, seemingly about to go in for a strike and continue the fight.
However... Before they could do anything, a red sparkle appeared behind Olhade for a second.
Then, I dashed in upclose from behind him.
"You let your guard down, you weakling."
I stated as Olhades eyes widened. He attempted to turn around and activate his 'Reflection' skill once again, however didn't make it in time.
Confirmed.
Using the Individual Skill
