A few days later
After the meeting with Sakura, Gojo couldn't stop thinking about Sakura at all. He thought these weird feelings would go away with time eventually
But as time went on, he was proved to be wrong. That girl was haunting his thoughts for days now
Her dazzling smile, delicate facial features and her colourful beauty captivated his heart. Her personality was something he found quite amusing
She was like a firecracker. You never know what to expect from her. This moment she can be happy and the next moment she can throw tantrums. Which he found really cute
And something that was the biggest turn on for him was her strength and cursed technique. She was a vessel like Yuji, but she was a vessel of a true beast
But as much as he knows, the tailed beast is more like her friend. She can control it and the spirit of the beast guides her. It also lends her its strength which makes her so strong
He was in his own world thinking about her when he felt a tap on his shoulder. He looked back and smiled
It was Rin
She was looking at him with worried eyes. Her warmth is the same as he remembered from years ago. She is a person very dear to him because he knows she genuinely cares for him
"Are you okay, Gojo-kun? You look distressed. I called you a few times but you didn't respond. Is there something bothering you? You know you can tell me right?"
Rin said, her smile was as kind as he always remembered
Gojo smiled, he was about to tell her he was okay when he paused
"Where is Ito senpai and Akagi-senpai?"
Rin tilted her head in confusion
"They are at a mission... Why? Do you need them? Should I call -
Gojo quickly shook his head and made Rin sit right in front of him. He thought a bit more about if he should do this. But his heart knew he could trust Rin. She was like an elder sister to him and would never judge him
So he took a deep breath before starting
"I want to tell you something, Aiko senpai. But please don't be mad at me"
He said, giving her a look that looked kinda like a kicked puppy
Rin's heart instantly melted. She is a loving girl. She loved all her kohais like her own little siblings, so it wasn't much of a surprise when she promised him she won't be mad
"Well... You see senpai, from the day I met her, I can't stop thinking about her"
Rin tilted her head, a little confused and excited
"Oh, you liked a girl, Gojo-kun? She must be a lucky girl to make the Gojo clan head fall for her. Who is this girl? Do I know her?"
Rin asked with a giggle, which he returned with one of his grins
"You do. It's Ito senpai's sister... "
Rin's eyes instantly went wide with shock and fear. She was literally terrified. She quickly shook her head
"N-no, Gojo-kun... Anyone but Sakura-chan. Anyone but her. You can get anyone you like, just not her Please. You know how Kakashi would react if he knew about this right?"
She asked in a panicking voice
But Gojo was stubborn too
He stood his ground
"But I really do like her. What's the problem to give it a try. If she likes me we can work something out. And Ito senpai can't always keep her away. She's a grown ass woman. She would eventually date someone "
Gojo said, to which Rin just shook her head again
"It's not like Kakashi would stop her from dating. But he won't let her date you... You know how you are with girls right? Even if you do like her, he won't let you date her.... Because...."
Rin stopped at that. Her eyes held a look of sadness. The sudden mood change made Gojo raise a brow at her
"Because?"
She looked at him for a moment before sighing. She unbottoned her blazer, leaning more on her chair in a relaxing position.
She smiled sadly as she started
"You see, our Sakura-chan is kind of like a hopeless romantic. There was a boy she loved and another boy who loved her... They were in the same team... But that guy she liked went rouge... So she tried her best to bring him back... In the process she made the boy who loved her promise her to bring him back.... "
Underneath his blindfold, Gojo had wide eyes
"She... She is just like mine... Did she also have a Friend like Suguru?"
He thought to himself, remembering his former best friend
"The rest is history... But all I can tell you is she had many heartbreaks in her life... More than she ever deserved."
All this, Rin said while looking outside the window beside them. A serine look on her face
She then looked at Gojo with a gentle smile
"So you see, Kakashi wants to protect her from such heartbreaks... Not only Kakashi but also Obito. He also loves her like a little sister... He won't allow you either. "
It was quiet for a moment. Both of them in their own thoughts
"She might be one of the strongest, Gojo-kun... But her heart is fragile like glass... She can kill a dozen special grade curses without a drop of sweat but can't take a nother heart break. It would distroy her"
Gojo nodded again. he knew the feeling all too well
"That's why her heart is being protected by all of us. She's the youngest in the house hold. The candy of everyone's eyes."
Rin explain
"I promise you I won't break her heart like that guy"
Rin's eyes widened and she quietly gasped when she heard him say that. In all her life of knowing Gojo Satoru, she'd never seen his so genuine and serious... Maybe once before
"I know hoy it feels when someone really close to your heart betrays you. I won't ever do anything as such "
Gojo determinedly said
"I know she's not just a fling, senpai. Because if she was, It wouldn't be hard for me to forget her smile, the cute dimples she gets when she giggles, the way she blushes when she finds something funny. Her giggles wouldn't sound like bells in my head till now..."
He said, a silly grin plastered on his face
Rin had look of pure shock and disbelief on her face. In her mind, there was chaos
"Holy cow! He's talking like how Obito talked to me when we were teenagers"
She screamed in her mind
"Please give me a chance to prove I truly like her, Aiko-senpai. I promise I won't disappoint "
Rin was quiet for a moment, judging him head to toe.
"He does look genuine... Why would he lie anyway. He could get any girl he wants and I've never seen him talk so passionately about anyone other than Sakura-chan"
With these thoughts, she smiled at him
"Okay... I'll help you if you promise to keep her happy"
Gojo's smile widened
"Really. Great... So how can I make her like her"
He asked first thing
Rin sweat dropped
"Way to cut the chase"
She thought to herself giving him a smile
"You don't need to do anything... Just take off your blindfold "
Rin said, making his jaw slack
"What? That's it?''
"Well, Sakura-chan has one weakness in men... That's a pretty face. You have that. You don't need anything else "
Rin said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world when Gojo almost had a heart attack
But judging from her reaction, it's pretty clear that she was telling the truth so he didn't question it
But an arrogant smirk came to his lips
"But Gojo-kun, she's gonna be your student. How will you date your student?"
This is the same question that bugs him to no end. Getting a girl is not a big deal for him, but this was a serious problem
Because it's still frowned upon to date a student
"Gojo-sensei!"
Both Gojo and Rin got a little startled hearing that loud call
It was none other than, Itadori Yuji
"Sensei. There is a serious mission. The principal said to take you with us. We have to take care of some kind of toxin"
Yuji explained enthusiastically
Gojo sighed, giving his student a smile before looking back at Rin
"I'll talk to you later, Aiko senpai. And thank you for this... For everything you did for me for so many years"
Rin just smiled at him warmly
With that he got up and left
