Smokescreen glanced over at Mazikeen,
"So, you excited about those two finding out?"
Mazikeen sighed as she glanced at the two sleeping girls,
"I am just hoping that they stay safe, I'll have to work on shields for them,"
Smokescreen immediately put his hand on hers,
"Comet, stop it. You don't have to constantly worry about everyone else,"
Mazikeen sighed,
"I do, I always have. I don't know how to stop,"
Smokescreen smirked and sped up,
"Well, let's just focus on putting a smile on your lil face,"
Mazikeen laughed and smiled at him,
"Whatever you say, Axel,"
Smokescreen smirked,
"That name is growing on me,"
Mazikeen laughed and Alexandra groaned,
"Are we there yet?"
Mazikeen chuckled,
"No, get Sophie up, we will in like another hour,"
Alexandra immediately elbowed Rosalyn and she yelped and glared at Alexandra,
"Hey!"
Mazikeen chuckled and then looked out the window. She gasped when she saw a familiar car,
"Axel?"
"Yeah?"
Mazikeen unbuckled her seat belt,
"We have some company,"
Smokescreen frowned and looked to see the car following them at a distance,
"B-"
"Sh,"
Smokescreen frowned,
"What's the plan?"
Mazikeen glanced at the two in the back seat,
"You two. No matter what, you need to listen to Axel, he's in charge,"
Alexandra narrowed her eyes,
"What's going on?"
Mazikeen sighed,
"Turns out that we don't have time to get back to the base before the secret is out,"
Rosalyn frowned,
"What?"
Mazikeen patted Smokescreen's dashboard,
"Axel, get them outta here as fast as possible,"
Smokescreen's holo-form frowned,
"What? I can't do that comet! I'm not ditching you,"
Mazikeen narrowed her eyes at him,
"Yes, you will. I'll come find you after, I'll be fine. It's time for round four,"
Mazikeen tried opening the door, but Smokescreen kept it locked,
"Smokescreen. Now."
Smokescreen sighed but opened the door for Mazikeen to immediately jump out and have Phoenix completely encase her and flew over to where the police car was,
"MAZIKEEN!"
Smokescreen locked his doors and sped away, turning off his holo-form and the two screamed. Mazikeen landed in front of Barricade as he transformed,
"So, what brings you here?"
Barricade lowered his guns and looked at her,
"The Decepticons left me for dead. Megatron called me a failure for being unable to capture you. I see the way you care for Cybertronians, and I wish to make amends,"
Mazikeen narrowed her eyes but disengaged Phoenix and crossed her arms as she looked up at the former Decepticon,
"Why should I trust you?"
Barricade sighed,
"There is a reason you did not immediately shoot, and there is a reason Smokescreen is not here with you."
Mazikeen sighed and sat down on the floor in front of him, and looked into his optics,
"My gut was telling me something. I think it was telling you something, too,"
Barricade nodded as he sat down in front of her,
"There is something bigger than us coming, not right now...but within the next two months,"
Mazikeen nodded,
"Yes, it appears so. Okay, you want to prove yourself?"
Barricade nodded. Mazikeen took out a small round object,
"I was going to give this to my brother. I didn't feel the need to do it anymore...so here, give this to Frenzy,"
Barricade immediately let his mini-con out, and Frenzy gently grabbed it from her,
"What is it?"
"It's pretty much a panic button. If it starts beeping, I'm in trouble. If I don't see you, I'll know you are not on our side,"
Barricade nodded as he transformed back into his alt-mode,
"You call, we come,"
Mazikeen smiled and patted his hood,
"Good talk,"
She watched him drive away before hearing the engines of Smokescreen, she quickly turned to see Smokescreen driving fast with her cousin and Rosalyn in the front with guns pointed forward. Mazikeen tilted her head as he abruptly stopped, and Alexandra, along with Rosalyn, hopped out and ran to her,
"Are you okay?!"
Mazikeen laughed as they hugged her,
"Yeah, why wouldn't I?"
Smokescreen transformed and crossed his arms,
"You could have gotten hurt fighting Barricade all by yourself, I can't have that,"
Rosalyn smirked,
"Yeah, it didn't take long for us to convince lil Smokescreen to take us back to you,"
Alexandra nodded,
"Yeah, all we had to say was that we have guns,"
Mazikeen facepalmed and looked up at Smokescreen,
"That's all the convincing you needed?"
Smokescreen raised his servos up in defense,
"Hey! They had weapons, so we were all set!"
Mazikeen rolled her eyes,
"Let's go, we are late anyways,"
Alexandra smirked,
"Don't worry, this means that all you have to do is tell us the names of everyone else!"
Mazikeen sighed and rolled her eyes,
"Let's just go,"
Smokescreen laughed as he transformed back and opened his doors,
"Hop in,"
They quickly climbed in, and Mazikeen glanced at the two youngest,
"You two need better guns. I'll give you some after everything settles down at base. Axel, can you let someone know that we are almost there?"
"You got it, Comet,"

Jazz finally pulled up to base with Fig. He got out as Jazz transformed, and Fig patted his leg,
"Good talk, buddy, I have to make sure everything has been prepared, you go get the Autobots ready,"
Jazz nodded and knelt down beside him,
"I will, thank you for the talk,"
Fig smiled at him,
"Anytime, big guy,"
They separated and Jazz walked into the rec room and immediately noticed how different it looked. everything was pushed to the side and a large table was set up with birthday decorations. Chromia smirked when she was the first to spot him,
"Hey! You are finally back! You have to check in with Aura for your task, 'Hide and I were tasked with getting the decorations set up,"
Jazz slowly nodded,
"Where is Aura?"
Ironhide looked at him and pointed to the ledge overlooking everything,
"She's up there,"
Jazz nodded and walked up closer to see the black and blue-haired woman with a clipboard,
"Hey, Aura,"
Athena looked over at him and smiled,
"You are here! Perfect! I need you to make sure that Mazikeen stays surprised. You are the distractor if she and Smokes come early. I don't think they will, but still. I told Smokes to tell me when he's close. Also! Give me my godson!"
Tex laughed from Jazz's shoulder and easily jumped onto the platform, and Athena picked up Tex,
"Okay! Tex, I need your eyes on this too! Oh, and Jazz! Can you make sure Mudflap and Skids understand how important this is?"
Jazz chuckled and nodded,
"Yes, I will,"
"Also! Did you get May something for her birthday?"
Jazz smirked,
"Don't worry about that,"
Athena narrowed her eyes at him,
"Hm, okay. Get going!"
Jazz chuckled and nodded,
"I am, I am,"
Athena watched him leave and looked at Tex,
"So, what did he get her?"
Tex chuckled,
"Something that Fig helped him out with,"
Athena nodded in approval,
"Good, I trust Fig even if I never met him,"
Tex chuckled and nodded,
"Yep!"
It took them all a few more hours but Athena got the text from Smokescreen that they were almost there,
"PLACES EVERYONE! SHE'S ALMOST HERE!!!"
Will laughed,
"Good, because Morshower said that he gave her his gift,"
"Do you know what?"
Will shrugged,
"Nope,"
Athena slowly nodded,
"Okay,"
Kaitlyn ran up to them in excitement,
"I saw on the scanners that Smokescreen is pulling up!"
Elisabeth smiled from her position below them,
"Come on! Places!"
Elisabeth was quickly joined by Eddie, Epps, Will, Kaitlyn, and Athena. They saw Smokescreen drive in and out of the car came Rosalyn, Alexandra, and Mazikeen. Athena's jaw dropped at seeing the youngest Witwicky,
"ALEXA?!"
Alexandra immediately looked over and spotted Athena,
"Hey!"
Athena stormed over to her and grabbed her ear,
"NO CALL?! NO LETTER?! DO YOU KNOW HOW WORRIED I WAS?!"
Alexandra yelped,
"EAR! Oh my god! You are just like Maze!"
Athena glared at her and finally let her go,
"You better explain missy."
Rosalyn quickly walked up to her best friend and smiled nervously,
"How about later?"
Athena sighed and pulled Alexandra into a hug,
"Happy birthday, squirt,"
That caused everyone to immediately stare at the two, Mazikeen chuckled and smirked,
"Hey! I'm literally your best friend and I didn't hear a happy birthday!"
Athena glared at her and punched her arm,
"You didn't tell me that baby Alexandra here is alive,"
Alexandra groaned,
"Not this again,"
Mazikeen shrugged,
"I literally just found out before coming back here,"
Will sighed,
"Well, if you would let us all wish you a Happy Birthday, that would be great,"
Mazikeen laughed, and she walked over to her squad and new friends,
"Thank you,"
"Happy birthday, Mynx!"
They all pulled her into a group hug. Mazikeen laughed as she hugged them all back. Kaitlyn smirked,
"Let's get going. We have a feast to get to!"
Mazikeen tilted her head,
"Who cooked?"
They all shared a look and Epps smirked,
"Let's just go eat,"
Mazikeen slowly nodded. Elisabeth smirked as she brought out a blindfold,
"Oh hell to the no!"
Eddie smirked,
"Oh calm down, I-"
Mazikeen immediately put her hand over his mouth,
"Not a word from you mister,"
Everyone laughed and Smokescreen finally transformed,
"I'll meet you there!"
Will looked at him then the two youngest recruits and sighed,
"Of course, you showed off before,"
Smokescreen raised his servos,
"Hey! That wasn't on me,"
Mazikeen gave him a look and he immediately left
Eddie laughed and blindfolded Mazikeen and grabbed her hand,
"Relax, it's just us. Trust us,"
"I better not hit any walls like the last time,"
"Hey! That was years ago!"
"Bobby! Wipe that grin off your face!"
Epps gasped,
"How dare you accuse me-"
"Bobby, don't try denying it,"
"Whatever, Will,"
They laughed and they slowly walked into the rec room and Alexandra and Rosalyn gasped in wonder at the decorations. They saw the large table and were confused by the large seats and the small ones on the table. Eddie smirked and finally took off her blindfold,
"Ta-Da!"
Mazikeen gasped as she looked around the rec room,
"Woah, you all did this?"
Will chuckled and shook his head,
"We had a lot of big help,"
Athena smirked proudly,
"I was the one with the clipboard,"
Mazikeen laughed and nodded,
"So it was all you,"
Will gasped,
"Hey! Prime and I planned everything too!"
Mazikeen's eyes widened,
"Optimus helped too?"
Sunstreaker and Sideswipe finally came out of the shadows,
"Hey! We all helped!"
Then all of the Autobots came out of hiding, with one having his servos closed over one very important person. Mazikeen narrowed her eyes,
"What you got there, Ironhide?"
Ironhide smirked and brought his servos down next to her before opening them for her to see Fig pop out and tackled her in a hug,
"MYNX!"
"FIGGLE!"
The two laughed from the floor, and Mazikeen smiled happily at all of them,
"Thank you! Everyone, this is extremely nice,"
Optimus smiled and placed his servo down for her to climb onto it,
"You have helped us for a long time now. We all wanted to return the favor."
He set her down on the table and the rest of the humans were helped up and Bluestreak immediately yelled out,
"TIME TO PARTAY!"
Athena laughed at his enthusiasm and Jazz immediately started playing music. All the humans started eating at the table and the Autobots sat and talked to one another and the humans in front of them. Alexandra smiled happily as she talked to Optimus for the first time and Rosalyn was intrigued by the twins and tried getting Sunstreaker to talk to her with just as much enthusiasm. Mazikeen glanced around and smirked when she saw that Mudflap and Skids were put at a smaller table,
"So, whose idea was it to put the Terrible Twos at the kid's table?"
Prowl smirked,
"Mine,"
Mazikeen nodded,
"Wonderful idea, beautiful,"
She felt a small tug at her heart and tilted her head in confusion when she glanced around and immediately spotted Smokescreen in his holo-form talking to Eddie. Mazikeen laughed and smirked,
"Hey, Axel!"
Smokescreen immediately turned and looked at her with a bright smile on his face,
"Yeah, Comet?"
"Tell them what happened at the party before Alexa and Sophie came,"
Smokescreen immediately stopped and crossed his arms with a pout as everyone stared at the two,
"Nope!"
Alexandra immediately stared at the two,
"Hey wait! I want to hear!"
Eddie smirked,
"I do too,"
Smokescreen groaned and immediately appeared next to Mazikeen and sat down on the floor next to her chair,
"Nope,"
Mazikeen laughed,
"Oh, come on, Axel, it's not that bad!"
Sunstreaker narrowed his optics,
"Do we need to offlin-"
"No! No offlining Sun! We talked about this,"
Optimus nodded his head,
"We do not offline humans,"
Smokescreen sighed and blushed,
"It's embarrassing,"
Athena cackled,
"Oh, now I need to know!"
Mazikeen glared at Athena,
"Hey!"
"What?! I remember the D word situation!"
Everyone stared at the two girls in confusion, and Mazikeen blushed and shook her head,
"Times five,"
Athena's eyes widened,
"Oh, you poor innocent Cybertronian,"
Smokescreen groaned,
"It was horrible,"
Eddie smirked,
"I am so happy I didn't have to meet her,"
Mazikeen glared at him,
"You are lucky I didn't make you meet her when you met Sammy and Mik,"
Eddie raised his hands in defeat. Arcee smirked,
"I still want to know what the lady said that is making you so flustered,"
Tex laughed,
"Oh! Rover just sent me a video he took of it!"
Mazikeen and Smokescreen gasped in horror,
"WHAT?!"
Tex cackled,
"Oh, this is too good!"
Jazz narrowed his optics at Smokescreen, and he shrunk down. Mazikeen glanced at Smokescreen,
"Okay! Fine. Judy was convinced that Axel and I were dating,"
Fig gasped,
"Oh my god! Tex YOU HAVE TO SEND ME THAT VIDEO!!!!"
Tex laughed and smirked at him,
"How much are you willing to give me for it?"
"I'll trade you with a video I took of Eddie running around in his underwear after losing a bet!"
Eddie gasped,
"YOU HAVE WHAT?!"
Mazikeen cackled,
"We all do,"
Eddie gasped and turned to Mazikeen,
"MAZ?!"
Mazikeen shrugged,
"I found out about it after you left, sooooo, that's my defense,"
Tex landed on Fig's shoulder and shook his hand,
"You got a deal,"
Will laughed,
"Fig you have to send that to the group chat,"
Mazikeen blushed and grumbled as she sat in her seat, and Sideswipe smirked,
"So, that was what Rover was talking about?"
Mazikeen sighed,
"Yeah,"
Fig started laughing,
"Oh my sky! He looks so confused, oh, this is precious!"
Smokescreen groaned and his holo-form disappeared as he put his servos up to his face in embarrassment,
"Why Primus? Why?"
Mazikeen shrugged,
"Buddy frag like I know,"
Elita-One laughed,
"Awe, Smokescreen, don't take it to heart, you are too young for Maze,"
Smokescreen gasped,
"What do you mean too young?"
Ratchet stared at Smokescreen,
"In human terms, you are still a teenager,"
Smokescreen pouted,
"Hey! I look fantastic,"
Mazikeen laughed and winked at him,
"Sure you do, Axel,"
Smokescreen groaned,
"I am never living this down,"
"Nope, never,"
Smokescreen glared at Bluestreak as they all laughed at him. Jazz stayed silent as he felt a pair of optics on him, he turned and saw Prowl studying him and he rolled his optics at his close friend. It took them all a while, but they settled down at the table to have more fun discussions. Until Arcee's holo-form appeared next to Mazikeen,
"We have gifts!"
Mazikeen yelped at the sudden voice of her friend next to her and she looked to see Arcee smiling proudly at her,
"Gifts?"
Eddie laughed,
"Yeah! Gifts!"
Arcee immediately handed Mazikeen a box and smiled at her,
"This is from Chromia, Elita, and I,"
Mazikeen slowly opened it and smiled largely at the leather gloves,
"Woah, these are nice!"
Arcee smirked proudly and turned to see her two sisters pop up behind her.
Mazikeen smiled and brought them into a small group hug,
"Thank you!"
Elita-One sighed,
"You are welcome,"
Chromia smirked,
"I better see some blood stains on those gloves,"
Mazikeen laughed and Will immediately shook his head,
"No! No blood stains!"
Mazikeen slowly nodded,
"Of course not,"
She winked at Chromia and they laughed. Will sighed. Ironhide slowly set something down next to Mazikeen and she looked to see a small Bazooka,
"OH MY SKY!!!!!!!!!"
Will's eyes widened,
"Oh no,"
"OH, NO!"
Eddie sighed,
"Oh no,"
Ironhide smirked proudly,
"Oh yeah!"
Mazikeen immediately picked up the Bazooka and cackled,
"FRAG YEAH! THANKS IRONHIDE!"
Ironhide smirked proudly,
"You are very welcome, Maze,"
He popped up right next to her.
"Hurry up and get this over with,"
Mazikeen laughed and immediately hugged him,
"Thank you! I really love it,"
Ironhide smirked,
"I knew you would. I used some extra parts lying around and created it with the help of Jolt,"
Mazikeen looked at Jolt, and he smiled at her,
"Yeah, it is all reliant on electricity, so it's easy to charge,"
Mazikeen smiled largely and turned to Jolt,
"Get over here so I can give you a hug!"
Jolt chuckled but was quick to pop up next to her, and she tackled him in a hug.
He laughed and hugged her back,
"Okay, you are very welcome,"
Ratchet cleared his throat and his holo-form appeared next to Mazikeen and he held up a small spray,
"I have perfected that stupid temporary spray that you invented, so you better keep it near you at all times,"
Mazikeen smiled and immediately hugged Ratchet,
"Thanks, Ratch,"
Bluestreak smiled, and he put down a small box,
"This is from Prowl, Smokescreen, and myself,"
She opened the box and found maps and pictures,
"Woah,"
Prowl nodded,
"We understand that you like space and learning about us, so we decided to give you copies of what we have,"
Mazikeen immediately smiled at them,
"Thank you!"
Smokescreen hugged her again, and Mazikeen chuckled as she saw Bluestreak pop up and join the hug,
She laughed and glanced at Prowl, and he shook his head,
"I don't do hugs,"
Mazikeen shrugged,
"That's fine,"
Then Will, Epps, and Fig smirked as they surrounded her,
"Oh no, what did you three get me?"
Fig smirked,
"What? My presence isn't enough?"
Mazikeen rolled her eyes, and Will chuckled. He gave her a wrapped gift, and she glanced at it in confusion. Then she opened it and gasped,
"Oh?"
She opened it to see pictures from the very beginning of their time together in the army. She looked through them and looked at the three smiling at her,
"How?"
Will chuckled and wrapped an arm around her,
"What? You know we took a few pictures here and there. You really thought we didn't do anything?"
Epps smirked,
"We have been saving them for years,"
Fig nodded,
"Yeah! Waiting for the perfect time to give them to you,"
She flipped through all of them slowly and noticed the familiar faces of those they lost. She closed the book and looked at her three brothers-in-arms and pulled them into a tight hug,
"I love you guys,"
They chuckled,
"We love you too,"
Elisabeth smirked,
"My turn!"
She immediately brought up a box, and Mazikeen opened it to see new combat boots,
"Kaitlyn and I bought you some new boots. Yours are gross,"
Mazikeen laughed and hugged the two women,
"Thank you,"
Kaitlyn smirked,
"You are very welcome,"
Athena shoved them to the side,
"MY TURN!"
They all laughed as she gave Mazikeen a small box,
"Open it bitch!"
Mazikeen laughed, and she opened it to see a silver chain. Athena immediately pulled out Mazikeen's lightsaber, and it attached itself to the chain. Mazikeen's eyes widened,
"How?"
Athena smirked and crossed her arms,
"What? Ever since you showed me your lightsaber, I was counting down the days until you would lose it! Now! You won't!"
Mazikeen rolled her eyes but hugged her,
"Thank you, Aura,"
"You are very welcome, May,"
Eddie immediately gave her a small box and Mazikeen opened it and gasped,
"Woah,"
Inside the box was a small blue crystal. Eddie smirked,
"Add it to your collection,"
Mazikeen immediately hugged him and laughed,
"I will! Thank you, Eddie,"
"Anytime, Maz,"
Mudflap and Skids stood up, and she stared at the two,
"Oh no,"
They laughed and shook their heads,
"Our gift is that we will tell you in advance if we do a prank,"
Mazikeen chuckled,
"Acceptable, thank you,"
They saluted at her, and she chuckled. Optimus appeared next to her and handed her a package,
"Here,"
Mazikeen opened it and smiled largely at the Autobot symbol on a piece of clear wrap,
"This is what you call a temporary tattoo. However, I was able to create one that will be permanent,"
Mazikeen gasped excitedly and immediately hugged him,
"Thank you, Optimus!"
Optimus nodded his head and patted her back,
"You are welcome,"
They celebrated for another hour before they slowly started departing to sleep. Jazz soon noticed that Mazikeen seemed to be getting tired and put his servo down next to her,
"Come on, let's get you to your room,"
Mazikeen nodded and was quick to climb onto his servo and he walked them over to her room, Tex stayed behind for a few minutes to give the two alone time. Mazikeen entered her room, and Jazz's holo-form was quickly on her bed, sitting down,
"Come on over,"
Mazikeen tilted her head in confusion but sat down next to Jazz,
"What's up?"
Jazz chuckled nervously and held up a small box,
"I picked this up for you. I...um...thought of you when I saw it,"
Mazikeen immediately grabbed the box and opened it to see a triangular crystal.
Mazikeen gasped,
"Woah, it's beautiful. Thank you, Jazz!"
She immediately pulled Jazz into a hug, and he smiled softly as he hugged her back,
"You are welcome, lil M,"
They stayed in the hug for a long time until she slowly fell asleep in his embrace. He softly brushed the hair away from her face and smiled softly at her,
"My sweet spark,"
