"Rip Stark" Y/n said crying comically
"In a few hours his brain would melt and pour out of his bleeding nose" The priest explained
"This is so sad" Y/n mumbled
"There's nothing I can do, but perhaps my brother can help" He said before the Swamp dude walks in.
"Nii-San don't you think this new bath tubs are too small" He said walking in while holding a cup?
"Is that a bath tub?" Y/n said trying not to laugh
"That thing can barely hold Stark's piss not like he'll be able to a few hours from now cos you know he'd be dead" Y/n said making Fern punch him.
"It's you guys! Nii-San these are the people I told you about" The swamp dude said.
"Did you get bitten? I told you to be careful" He said walking over to the Stark and healing him in a sec.
"Woah, nice trick" Y/n said
"Now we're even" He said as he walked off
"That was a neat trick but now we don't have to worry about poison anymore" Y/n said making all of them look at him confused.
"See" Y/n said raising his fist as it started to glow the same green, his three friends observed his hand.
"Wow"
"Y/n-san how did you do that?"
"That's how my magic works, if I see a spell I can use it. It doesn't have any special requirements all I have to do is see a spell to use it" Y/n said
"That's really overpowered" Stark muttered
"Nope, whenever I copy a spell it burns five times the mana to use that's spell than it would a normal person"
"That would put you at a disadvantage" Fern pointed out
"It would, and if you haven't noticed I have the lowest amount of Mana you'd probably come across" Y/n said
"Now that you mention I notice that your mama is lower than that of an average mage"
"But it doesn't run out" Y/n says
"I'm so confused" Stark said
(A/N: Time to explain Y/n's power finally!)
"So my mana is little but it doesn't run out, meaning it keeps on replenishing after I use it. If I were to use my normal spell or a spell I'm used to it'd take the regular amount of mana. But if I were to copy a spell I'm not familiar with it could take five times the mana on average if it was a really strong spell it'd take ten times. Which means there's a limit to how much attack I can fire off at once. To break it down take my manna reserve as a cup of water and take Frieren's as a bucket, if I needed to put out a fire in a kitchen I'd have to pour multiple cups of water because the cup can't hold enough water to put out the fire but at the same time the water in this cup which is my mana doesn't run out. So if I was fighting a beast that needs an attack larger than my mana's reserve I can't kill it in one-go and that's my opening the moment I fire off a large attack and my mana falters and runs out the split second between it running out and it replenishing is your best shot at killing me in a fight. But even with that opening you'd need to be faster and stronger than me to do that, I don't think any modern day mage could kill me even if I decide to not use spell in a fight. Now Frieren's own manna which is a whole bucket can put out the fire in one go due to its volume but it doesn't auto-replenish. Which means she could kill a beast I can't in one-go but in a drawn out battle she'd still be at a disadvantage against me. My mana reserve doesn't increase with training for reasons I can't disclose.

"I'm tired" Y/n yawned
"I'm gonna go settle down at the inn okay" T/n said walking away

"We need him, I'm not risking my brain melting again & Y/n technique might only work for that snake poison but not other threats" Stark said
"He has a point" Y/n said lying down on the bed
"It's true we are at a disadvantage without a healer in our party"
"I'm thinking about it"
"What is there to think about" Stark said
"I smell Sake" Y/n said sitting up
"If you're not going to invite him I will" Stark said heading for the door
"I smell booze that way" Y/n said following Stark.

"Alcohol, Tobacco, Gambling aren't this things too corrupt for a priest" Stark pointed out
"Loosen up a little" Y/n said with a grin taking a sit as one of the dudes handed him a bottle of beer
"I'd much rather prefer sake but booze is booze"
"I'm getting to now these people" The Swamp priest answered Stark
"I want you to Join our party" Stark said
"If you beat me, I'll join"
"Ohhhh, this just got a lot more interesting" Y/n grinned

"Ahhhhhh" Stark yelled
"Shhhh you're gonna attracts Fern's attention" Y/n tried to shush Stark
"Easy for you to say, you didn't lose anything" Stark whined
"What happened Stark-sama I heard you scream"
"Too late" Y/n sighed, After Fern found out what happened Y/n got scolded and had all his money he earned from gambling taken away.
"You're too too harsh Fern" Y/n whined while Fern puffed her cheeks upset at the white haired boy. Frieren went on to explain to whites about how she doesn't like him and how she'll get him to join their party by hook or crook and how he'll regret not going after his friend.
"I'm going to get Stark's belongings back" Fern walked away
"She's mad at us" Stark said as Y/n nodded

"Gambling is for low lives" Fern continued to scold Y/n and Stark in their room. Y/n was looking at Frieren so he got distracted.
"Alcohol is a medicine that cures all" Fern said gaining Y/n's attention
"You finally get it" Y/n said but Fern only looked at him before looking away
"She's still mad at me" Y/n thought as he let out a sigh.

Quite a while as passed now with many failed attempts to recruit the swamp priest.
"Any idea what he likes?"
"He's into older women" His older brother said
"What are we to do with that information"
Friedan muttered
"Nii-San don't you think these new sickles are too small, that can't even cut the grass" The swamp priest said
"Seriously what is up with you guys and miniature things" Y/n said
"Oh it's you guys again" The priest whom Y/n couldn't be bothered to learn his name said before walking away
"Wait" Stark said Chasing after him
"Won't you like to travel with an older woman" Stark said catching up to him
"That's my whole reason for becoming an adventurer in the first place, but where is this older woman?"
"Right here" Frieren said confidently
"I'm an elf so I've lived way longer that you"
"Come to think of it Nii-San did mention something like that, you're not even to be considered an older woman" The priest said
"Hey! Take that back Frieren is the best older woman you can ever find" Y/n protested
"I guess I have no choice then I'll just have to use the seduction trick my master thought me"
"Eh?"

"Hmph, I don't blame you. You're too young for it" Frieren said
"That was way too sexy" Stark and Fern thought
"Eh? Y/n-San?" Fern said looking at the white haired boy who had passed out bleeding from his nose
"Frieren's attack was too deadly for him!" Stark exclaimed as Stark and Fern rushes to his side
"He's turning cold, we're losing him" Fern said
"Y/n-San stay with us" Fern and Stark cried. While the priest went to say how he can't leave his brother behind before being slapped by his brother which made Y/n jolt.
"That was hot" Y/n exclaimed waking up.
"Y/n-San" Stark and Fern sighed in relief before hugging him.

"I just don't get how it works, if the fishes bite on the food and they feel like they're being pulled isn't the natural response to let go" Y/n said to Stark and Fern who were fishing while Frieren was reading a book.
"I mean personally if I was a fish and I'm getting pulled by a piece of food I buy into to just release the food"
"I'm not sure that's how fishing works" Fern said
"It doesn't matter, as long as we catch them let's not question it" Stark said
"You're right but I just don't get it"
"Frieren I apologized to my brother" the priest said
"Oh" Frieren said as Y/n stood up and walked over to Freire looking over her shoulder to see what she was reading before opting to just play with her ears again making Frieren giggle a little.
"Are you ticklish on your ears?" Y/n muttered making Frieren nod a little
"I've decided to travel with you guys, but just to search for my friend. You're right 10 years isn't too late, so my travel with you guys will only be partial"
"I see"
"Welcome aboard matey" Y/n said doing a pirate impression while playing with Frieren's ears.
