Now, let's discuss something. I read all of the comments and it's just like some of you blaming Ruhi saying that she is irritating. I second you here and some of you are blaming Yudhishthir, for being grumpy, and even I second you here. But the thing is none of them is to be blamed.
It's their family, who needs to be blamed. Ruhi will behave childish because she is twenty and Yudhishthir is extra mature because he is thirty. The main motive is to show their view points. How they deal with the situation accordingly. Age gap issues. Behaviour problems. I hope you understand.
"Act cool and look at your left side." Ruhi smiled as she pressed her ear pods more into her ear and Ahaan continued over the call,"Now did you see Alex?"
"Humm..." She hummed and took a sip of her coffee. Ruhi looked at Alex, who was standing with a girl near a pole and his expressions were serious. "Who is she?" She asked Ahaan.
"His tattoo artist. Didi now look at the radius of at least six to seven meters from his left side. You will see a man in black shirt and grey pants. He is bulky." Ruhi adjusted her scarf over head and pinched her shades till her temple. She was sitting in one of the best outdoors cafes in the city.
"Great, now listen. He is one of Alex's men. And as per Vardhan's information he is your secret bodyguard appointed by YJ. Now what you have to do is that you have to distract him. He is standing there with his two more buddies. Just walk near him and stumble a bit. You have to fake panic in front of him and pretend that you were trying to escape from his and Alex's eyes."
Ruhi stood and glanced at the black Honda City, in which Ahaan was sitting with his best friend
Vardhan. He ditched his Lamborghini to avoid any suspicion or skepticism. She discreetly nodded at him making him smile. He had always wanted her to stand for herself, which she never did and now her confidence was giving him satisfaction.
" Is chloroform spray ready in your bag?" Ruhi tapped her sling and gave him a thumbs up. "Now they are going to follow you and you have to walk in your west direction after successfully gaining their suspicious attention. Don't forget
they are armed and they are way more powerful than you and even me, physically. But we are going to play with our brains and confuse them."
She gave a curt nod and glanced at Alex, who seemed to be involved in some kind of verbal argument with the girl. He was involved with her and she understood that he won't notice anything.
"Last thing, reach at the end of the west lane and don't worry I am behind you. I won't let anything happen to you. The end of the west lane does not have any cameras. Spin around and spray the chloroform on their faces and rest I will handle. I am cutting the call right now." Ahaan was going to cut the call but before that Ruhi asked him,"Ahaan, how do you know that they are the one assigned with the task of following me?"
"Don't worry Ruhi didi. Vardhan's information is always correct just like your husband's." Vardhan chuckled and Ahaan cut the call and said ,"Her life is in danger just pray that they don't get their guns out. She is having fear of guns."
"How do you know?" Vardhan asked him.
"She is my sister, bro. I know everything." Ahaan said and pressed the clutch of the car.
Ruhi kept on looking back at Alex and walked towards the bodyguards. She was looking nervous, not that she was acting but she was actually nervous. Her heartbeat was escalating
with each and every step.
'I can do it.' She firmly stated to herself and pretended to stumble a bit but she actually lost her balance and fell down on her knees in front of bodyguards. One of them tried to help her but she pushed away his hand and hastily stood up and averted her eyes from them.
Ruhi again glanced back at Alex, who was still busy talking and she adjusted her scarf with shivering hands. She looked at them and they could easily sense fear in her eyes. She traced the string of her sling bag and started to walk towards the west direction or towards the west lane.
Her suspicious behaviour was analysed by the bodyguards when they found her looking at their boss from time to time, they knew that something was wrong.
Ahaan ignited the engine when he saw that Yudhishthir's men started following her but secretly and his heartbeat stopped when he saw the guns in their hands.
Ruhi entered the west lane and noticed that the buildings of the lane were under construction. She sighed and started taking small steps. She didn't hear any noise behind her and thought of giving Ahaan a ring but she remembered that he had forbidden her to call him.
She walking towards her destination quietly but was confused when she didn't felt any kind of moment behind her.
'What if the didn't notice me?' But still kept on walking.
She reached the end of the lane and turned back. No one was there but she failed to notice the shadows behind a broken old car. She thought that she failed and pulled off her scraf making the men following her surprised.
They were taken aback when they saw their boss's wife. The girl who was trying to escape from them was non other than Ruhi Rathore. The lady, who they had to protect.
She pulled out her phone and dialled Ahaan's number, who was busy cursing Yudhishthir. He knew that if Yudhishthir's men caught Ruhi, then he was doomed. If he was the queen's gambit and his moves were strategic then Yudhishthir was the ruler, he was the king and his only one move could change the whole course of the game.
Yudhishthir would never leave him for making Ruhi do all these dangerous tasks.
"I told you to not underestimate your brother-in-law. If you are the best player of the game then he is the referee. He controls the game." Vardhan stepped out of the car and so did Ahaan.
"But still it's the player who plays and wins." Ahaan fired back.
Vardhan chuckled and said ,"But referee can throw the player out of the game."
"Shut up Vardhan or else I will throw you out of the red demons." Ahaan snarled at him but the biggest mistake he did was that in anger he forgot to bring his phone with him.
"You can't." Vardhan gave him a sly grin and Ahaan threw a punch on his back.

"Ma'am what are you doing here?" Ruhi was bewildered when she saw them there. They were following her and she was stupid enough to think that they didn't notice her. She again tried calling Ahaan but he wasn't answering her calls.
"No..thing I...was..ju..st scrolling." She stammered nervously and the main one of them said ,"Don't worry it's not safe for you here. We will take you back."
She cursed herself and tried taking out the chloroform spray from her bag but failed miserably.
"No, you go I will not come with you." She tried sounding intimidating but they remained unfazed.

"I asked her to her come here but where did she go?" Ahaan was perplexed. He was feeling frustrated and was cursing.
"I think she took the wrong route." Vardhan concluded. "She might have stepped in wrong lane."
"But I saw her entering the west only." Vardhan nodded.
"No no no no, she might have entered the connecting lane. I have figured out. Vardhan she is in danger. That lane connects with the forest at the end and where's my phone. Fuck I left it in the car." He smacked his forehead when he realised his mistake.

"Ruhi bhabhi is not in her University Bhai. I asked her friends about her but they said that she didn't come to university today." Abhay informed Yudhishthir, who arrived back in his office after attending one of his important meetings.
"I dropped her in front of University in morning. I saw her entering inside. Where is Alex?" Yudhishthir shouted at Abhay.
"I don't know anything bhai. Her friends denied seeing her today. They said that she had applied for a leave yesterday." Abhay told him and Yudhishthir threw his laptop down on the floor in anger. He cut the call and called Alex.
"Where are you Alex?" Yudhishthir barked at him and Alex tried excusing himself, "Yudhishthir I will call you after sometime."
"Dare you cut the call or I will cut off your dick. Ruhi is not in her University and I told you and that those bodyguards to keep an eye on her." Alex was to stunned to speak. He gulped and eyed the girl in front of him to sit in the car.
"She was in University Yudhishthir. Something required my urgent attention that's why I....." He mouth hung down when he saw that his men were not at their place. He looked around but not a single trace of them was not present there.
"Why did you bring guards with you when they were there to keep an eye on her?" Yudhishthir punched the table and Alex lost the colour of his face. He brought guards with him because he saw Ruhi entering inside her classroom and he assumed that she was going to attend her classes.
"See Yudhishthir track her phone. Because she not wearing her mangalsutra today. The gps in showing your mansion's location." Alex cut call and knocked the the glass of the window pane.
"Suchita please don't get out of the car. I have to go somewhere and I will come back soon." She wiped her cheeks and nodded and Alex dialled a number.

"Boss is calling." Ruhi fisted her hands when those words fell in her ears. They had asked her many question but she remained silent and didn't answer them.
She knew that Alex might be calling them. She took a step and pulled out the phone from his hold and threw it somewhere.
"Ma'am?"
"I will get.. you a new one. I am sorry. I am really sorry." She apologized and they looked at her, astonished. She was acting weird. Not ready to answer their any questions or how did she get there?
She looked back and realised that it was the forest behind. To distract them again she took a few steps back and when she saw they were talking to each other.
And very second she ran inside the forest. The bodyguards noticed her action and without wasting a second they also started running behind her.
Tears were flowing out of her eyes as she hid behind a tall Banyan tree. She knew that she made a mistake because Ahaan would never leave her alone. He would never put her in any kind of danger.
She pulled out her phone from her pocket and dailed Ahaan's number. And this time he luckily received her call.
"Where are you didi? I literally waited for you at the end but you didn't come." His voice was filled with concern.
"Ahaan I took the wrong turn and now I am in the forest. Yudhishthir's men are behind me and if Yudhishthir found out about all this. He will bury me alive in the ground." She kept her hand on her mouth when he heard heavy footsteps.
"Don't worry. He won't be able to track your location. I have taken care of it and listen, hold the chloroform bottle firmly in your hands and spray it on them at the right moment." Ahaan and Vardhan entered the forest and Ruhi pulled out the chloroform spray our from her bag.
"I am on the call. Don't worry, nothing will happen. Didi you are the strongest woman I have known in my life. I know my Ruhi didi is confident and she knows how to handle every situation. You handled Yudhishthir Rathore, he is a man who is a mystery book for everyone. Person who is so much dangerous that even I don't know how much approch and intelligence he possesses.
See Yudhishthir jiju's men would be having guns with them and I know that bullet which was fired from Yudhishthir jiju's gun killed that innocent puppy you saved from dying. You were a kid at that time and you were feeding that cute puppy when Yudhishthir jiju's bullet missed it's target and killed that innocent soul, when he was practicing with Dad. Which was shocking.
You were traumatized and developed the fear but you cannot live with it forever. You are strong. I know my didi."
Ruhi peeked a little and saw that the three bulky bodyguards were standing right near the Banyan tree with guns in their hands. She was so lost that she forgot to notice that the story which gave her confidence was her secret.
And Ahaan narrated it to her.
Ahaan knew that the bodyguards would be carrying guns and he knew that Ruhi will get a panic attack if she saw guns. He had to keep her strong, he had to council her.
He and Vardhan were making their way and were trying to search for Ruhi.
Ruhi opened her shoes but by mistake stepped on dry leaves making a little noise, which alerted the bodyguards. She clicked her tongue out and kept her finger on the nozzle of the spray bottle.
'I can do it.'
'I am strong.'
She kept on chanting, slowly and carefully she came out of her hiding place and held the chloroform spray in front of bodyguards'faces and covered her face with a scarf making their eyes go wide in surprise.
Ahaan was still on the call with her and she sprayed it on their faces and Ahaan heard the hiss sound of the spraying. But the next the sound he heard made him stop on his tracks, the sound of bullet being shot. Momentarily, fear gripped his heart and his heart sank down in guilt.

It took me at least four hours to type this chapter. I was afraid that I will make a mistake. I always try to edit the chapter par fir bhi galti reh jati hai koi na koi..
