The wind was picking up and the waves were rocking harder, "All Stations, we got big waves, make sure to hook up to a nearby railing, we don't want anyone overboard, MEKA team will land soon, be courteous everyone, just because the boss isn't here, doesn't mean you all can be pigs" we will be raiding the OMEGA Complex, they have gone underground, after stealing ICBMs from the Switzerland, we have tracked them down to an abandoned port on the coast of Greenland, I tapped on my computer, and used my radar phone to contact Kenji, "Hello?" Kiriko's voice crackled over the phone, "Ah, Kiriko, where is Kenji?" "He's right next to me" "can I speak to him" "He's asleep" "Oh, Ok, just tell him I called" "No problem" I put away my phone, and a blast of water crashed down on deck, I tapped the side of my helmet, and spoke, "Phoenix 2 to all stations, we got landfall in 30 minutes, MEKA team inbound" A squadron of Meka armors landed on the deck, out came the team, D.va, Casino, King, D.mon and Overlord, I jumped down and jogged to them, I stretched out my hand, "Levi Abrams, it's a pleasure to meet you" D.va smacked my hand aside, "Get out my way" "Alright, terrible First impression" King glared at me, "The Fuck did you say?" My patience has already hit zero, "Phoenix 2 to all, we got a little scuffle on deck" I felt a bullet hit me in the side of my head, but nanotech saved me, I swept the nearest Meka member's legs they hit the ground hard, they started shooting at me, but I dodged all of their shots, they got into their mechs, I screamed "CONTACT! CONTACT! MEKA TEAM IS CONSIDERED HOSTILE I REPEAT THEY ARE HOSTILE!" One mech started firing on deck, but we are strong, we fire back, Casino dives, and I feel as if the ship is slowly starting to rise, and all of a sudden, I feel a jerk, I crashed and slid down the deck, MEKA had planted boosters on the underside of the ships, I rocked around, "Get Huginn and Muninn ready!" 2 container's tops open, and 2 high tech drones peek out the opening, I rolled down the deck and crashed into a container, Bridge squawked, "Huginn and Muninn locking on" "Fire!"
Kenji POV:
Ugh, I feel like absolute shit, Kiriko was sitting next to me, "Hey, Kenji, are you okay?" "Yeah, I'm fine, somewhat" I move to get up, there was a lot of searing pain, but I didn't care, I have a job, I can sleep, but war, famine, terrorism, crime and conflict never sleep, It's my men putting their lives on the line for what is right, I must join them, Kiriko threw some Ofudas at me, and I felt better, I hobbled and started hyperventilating, I pulled out a stimshot, and stuck it in my leg, and I made my way to the armory, "Phoenix, support me" My Phoenix flew underneath my arm to support me, but my exosuit took over and had full control, now I have complete control, I regained my breath and walked to the door, and slid it open, A fresh smell wafted into my nose, I grabbed some gear, "Where is Levi?" "Who's Levi?" "Jaeger" "Oh, yeah he's inbound to the OMEGA building" I racked my rifle, and slid my pistol in, I flipped the Teleporter switch on, and a vortex appeared, I nodded to Kiriko, and entered, I Immediately slipped, "oh shit!" Jaeger glanced at me, rather his large mech was, "Oh, Boss, Didn't expect to see you here, Kiriko yelled, "Close the portal! Seawater's getting in the armory!" "Oop" I pressed a button on my arm, and the portal closed up, I got up and noticed the wreckage around me, flaming mech wreckages and our 2 elite drones Huginn and Muninn, were flying around, nipping at each other's tails, "just what happened?" "MEKA tried to burn us, but we had the upper hand" Striker and Phoenix teams gathered around as red lights and boats are seen in the distance, along with an aircraft carrier, 2 jets fly towards us, "Huginn, Muninn, make quick work of them" The drones hovered and waved their wings at me, and the drones bolted, lasers warming up. I moved to a panel and typed the code, "6969420" Levi looked at me "Really dude? 6969420? Can't you be any more immature?" a large helicopter with mounted M134 miniguns on each window, and a big railgun built into the side, popped out"I take back everything I just said" "you should" I climbed into the chopper, a loud CHOOP CHOOP CHOOP was heard as the aircraft took off to the base, I got on the railgun, and aimed at a patrol boat, the railgun charged up and fired, shaking the chopper, but still destroying the target, I discharged a few flares as we touched down on the aircraft carrier, I jump down and kicked a OMEGA soldier down the deck, but he grabbed me and threw me down, ouch, I swept his legs, and punched him in the stomach, a laser gun mounted to the man's shoulder fired off, I grabbed the arm, but the laser grew closer, and started to melt a bit of my armor off, I stabbed him in the stomach with a co2 injection knife, and clicked the button, he started gagging and screaming, clawing at his stomach, the way an injection knife works is:

I pulled the knife out and kicked him to the floor, his stomach doesn't exist anymore, only gurgling was heard, I looked around me, and Muninn swings around and SAWS THE CARRIER IN HALF, I almost fall, but there was a lifeboat on the sea, I fell down, "AHHHHH!!!!" I crashed into the lifeboat, I disarmed the driver and stabbed my ballistic knife into his neck, grabbing his plate carrier and threw him into the sea, the team repelled in the boat, the boat lurched forward and watched as our naval fleet fought a destroyer, we bobbed and weaved among the fire, shooting away, towards the shore, I full sent it, and beached the boat, I got out and began firing at the guards and pilots, FX-67s were taking off, but were shredded to pieces by our XFA-33s and XDF-45Vs along with Huginn and Muninn, we pushed to the floor, only to get mowed down by machine guns, we flopped like a fish, and took cover, I used the teleportation device and made it to the core of the base, a portable Uranium plant, powering everything, threw some c4s at the core, and tried to phase out, and it worked, kind of , I phased 10 feet above where we were holding the MGs, and I hit the ground hard, almost breaking the detonator, I yell "Hasta La Vista MOTHAFUKAS!" And clicked the detonator, only to hear a slight rumble, "Shit" The guns powerdown, I rushed in, and began blasting em, left right, and chucked a knife at a soldier, I placed down a strike beacon, and exited, "HASTA LA VISTA MOTHAFUKAS!" And a large orbital laser obliterated the base, only ashes left, Levi laughed "2nd time's the charm hahaha" I nodded to him, "Omega base down" I hear a loud siren, like BRREEEEEEEEEEP BREEEEEEEEEEEP BREEEEEEEEEEEEP BRREEEEEEEEEEP, "DNA BOMB INBOUND! DNA BOMB INBOUND!" I was confused, "Men, strap your gas masks, we might have ourselves a gas attack" There was a warhead approaching, "EVERYONE! RUN!!" I sprinted to a nearby helicopter, while strapping on a gas mask, The warhead exploded over us, and purple gas descended on us, I was not able to find the nuclear missiles in the base, so this is where it is, coming down on us, I pushed my mask in, "Everyone! Shoot whoever inhales the gas! Even when it is one of us! There is no saving them!" I opened a portal to the american sub from the Trinity Saga, Everyone jumped in, the purple gas was leaking through the DECON feature on the portal I tapped the button on my wrist, and the portal closed up, Striker 3 groaned, "here again?" I pulled out my mini helicopter, I threw it, and the chopper grew, I hoisted myself up and everyone with me, we were quiet, Levi grumbled, "how many missiles did they steal?" "7 missiles" "That's enough to completely send LA, New York City, Delhi, Beijing, Sydney, London and Tokyo into complete discord" Phoenix 3 piped up, "They are probably going to hold the world hostage for money, power and other things" I tapped my comms, "Phoenix 1 to HQ, we lost the bio/nuclear missiles, they have 7, they used one on us, but it didn't do anything to us, put all cities on alert" "Copy Phoenix 1, EAS alarms going off in 3 hours" I sighed, "Great, just great, we lost a freighter with gear, possibly Huginn and Muninn and 7 bionuclear missiles" but 2 portals appeared next to us, and Munnin and Huginn flew through, purple smoke trailing behind them, "Ah, never mind, we only lost the freighter and the nukes" we need to stop somewhere anyway since my armor's power is about to go out, I tapped my watch and the armor retracts into my watch, only leaving me in my casual clothes (A white T-shirt and Jeans) with a plate carrier and a helmet, I spotted land in sight, we were somewhat near Japan, but not this close, I got a bit closer and found out about the Fox Festival being held there, once on the ground, I hooked up my armor and made a portal, everyone but me left, I quickly ran in and grabbed Kiriko, carrying her to the portal, before it collapses behind me, "Hey! Put me down! Where are we?" "Kiri" "Yeah?" "Welcome, to Kanezaka, where we first met" "No Way" "Yes Way" I climbed up the wall, and on top of a roof, "here we are'' Kiriko jumped up, Fox banners, and other stuff were everywhere, I ran along the roof, jumping into a donut shop, Kiriko close behind me, I took off my plate carrier, and walked to the order station, "Mmmmm, Jelly Donuts , and Chocolate Covered donuts" Kiriko hovered above me, "you done?" "Yep, just ordering" I tapped order, and Kiriko pulled me to a table, "Oh Thanks so much for bringing me here!:D ""It's nothing, we barely escaped the purple gas and w-""Purple gas?!" Everyone turned and looked at us with a weird face, especially me, you know, a scar on my eyelid and everything, it looked like I been through hell, Kiriko blended in, since it was the Festival, Kiriko covered her mouth, "sorry everyone" She waved her hand, 3 dozens of donuts arrived, and Kiriko immediately grabs a box, "hey, hey, chill, I get first pick" "aw man!" "don't worry about it" I took a bite out of a chocolate covered donut, and when I looked up, I was greeted with Kiriko becoming a woodchipper of donuts, I took a second bite, and 24 donuts, gone, oh my god, Kiriko let out a burp, "Oops, sorry" I just picked up my box and walked out, Kiriko walked with me, "where to?" "Your mom's house" "Okay" I walked through the valley of the shadow of jeff, after passing the blacksmith shop, I arrived at the swordsman dojo, I entered, Kiriko now taking the lead, A voice boomed, "Who's there?" "It's me mom, and Kenji too" "Who's Kenji?" Kiriko flinched, she whispered, "oh shit I forgot to tell her about us" "Well you better make an excuse fast before she slices and dices me" Kiriko cleared her voice, "It's my boyfriend" "A WHAT?!" "a boyfriend" A tall woman storms in with her Katana already unsheathed, "WAIT WAIT HOLD ON-" I kind of yelped, she swings at me, but I pull out my wakizashi and block her slice, damn she has a lot of power in her swing, "See?! He has a weapon! Did you know that?!" "yeah... he has several weapons" I quickly check my watch and see my armor's almost halfway done charging, I tapped on it as I did a flip over the oriental vase underneath me, armor forms over me, I still had my donuts in one hand, "Please Kiriko's mom I'm sure we can talk this out" I grab her katana with my hand, she pulls on the katana, and I WAS SENT FLYING, "WOOOAAAHHH" and through a window, Kiriko yelled, "Mom! He's not a Hashimoto! He is just a commander of an army that Genji created!" "Genji?" "Yeah!" I stuck my head through the window, "Yeah, Genji Shimada" "I heard he was dead" "People also heard I was dead" "really?" "Yep" "so he's still alive?" "Yeah" I pulled out my cracked holophone and dialed Genji. A picture popped up of Genji, chilling and eating a pancake, "Hey Kenji, what's up?" "Guess who's house I'm at?" I turned the camera to Face Kiriko and her mom, "Genji?" "Sensei Asa?" I was kind of surprised, "Sensei?" "Yeah, she taught me way back when" I came back around through the door, "here Genji talks while I treat my injuries and eat donuts" "Injuries? Let me guess, Sensei threw you down?" "Right on the money" I handed the phone to Asa, who was much calmer now, after Genji explained who I was. I was nursing the cuts I had and ate my donuts, but then Kiriko jumpscared me, "BOO!" "OH SHI-" I almost dropped the donut I was holding, I grabbed the donut with my teeth. Kiriko tried to steal it, but I held firm, and then the donut ripped in half, she flew back, and I fell over, a loud thump was heard as Asa rushes in, only to see Kiriko laying on the floor laughing really hard, half of my donut in her hand, and I was ragdolled on the floor, absolutely frozen, "Kiriko! Get off the floor! And you! You are a commander! Act like it!" Kiriko got up first, my armor recalibrated and I got up, "yeesh mom, why are you so stressed?" "I'm sorry, I'm just worried about you, I didn't know you were in a relationship, and I want to make sure you were happy and not being forced" "Don't worry about mom, Kenji is a nice guy" "Can I meet his family?" Kiriko gave me a side-eye, "My family died" "I'm sorry?" "My family died while trying to escape my Yakuza father, car crash, I fell out of the car and survived" "My condolences, where are you from?" "Osaka" "Ah" "well go on, the fox festival has a lot for you to do" We were about to head out, but the TV flashed, "J-Alert, J-alert, Your local station is presenting this alert message on the behalf of your national government and the DLA, 7 nuclear missiles were stolen from the Overwatch Switzerland base, the insurgents, known as OMEGA, are launching missiles all over the world, one of these places are Kanezaka, there is about 15 minutes until impact, follow these instructions to certify your safety, 1. Wear a filter mask or gas mask if possible, these missiles are armed with purple gas that is said to turn people feral, 2. If anyone inhales this gas, terminate them immediately, they are no longer in control. 3. Ration food as the gas can settle in for a while.
4. Avoid any contact with infected, they will attempt to maul you, and use some power to resurrect you as an infected. Please, cooperate, and do not panic, the timer until impact will now be broadcasted- BEEP-BEEP-BEEP-BEEP-BEEP-BEEP" I hear a lot of screaming and doors closing, "Settle in everyone, we're stuck here" "what about your portal?" I tried to create a portal, but my gauntlet overheated, "I cast too many Portals, and there is no more fluid left" I pulled out some gas masks, "these are INF- Filters, they are resistant to most gasses, even this one, take these helmets, they have thermal goggles mounted to them, if you have weapons, try to clean up the streets, I'll hand out gas masks so everyone can leave this nightmare" "Got it" "Got it" we strapped on our masks and helmets, I pulled my rifle out, Kiriko spun her kunai, and Asa sheathed her katana, I grabbed the wall, "brace, here comes the gas!" A rumble is heard and I was knocked to the ground, I was launched into and through a wall, I covered all the seams and visor of my gas mask to prevent breaking the mask, I rolled to a stop, purple gas descended upon us, people were screaming and crying, I ran to the yelling to see a kid being left to his death, the gas was close, but I shoved the gas mask onto his face, and tightened the straps, he started breathing normally and thanked me, he was young, about 13 or 14, "Man, My parents left me to die, what pieces of garbage" "Hey, family is not who you are born to, It's someone who loves and cares about you" I give the kid a handgun and tell him, "Protect the ones closest to you, and they will do the same" "I don't know how to shoot" "Oh right" I gestured for him to follow, Kiriko and Asa were waiting, "who's the kid?" "His family locked him out of the house, so I gave him a gas mask and told him to follow us" "Okay" Asa mumbled to Kiriko "Wow, he's a keeper" "Mom!" Kiriko blushed heavily, "Hey kid, what's your name?" "Kenji" Everyone froze, I slowly turned to him, "what happened? What's your name?" "Kenji" "What?" "My name's Kenji" "No way!" "Anyways, let's go, we got people to save" Kenji2 said "let's go" I moved through the streets, I needed to find a way in to give the gas masks to the people inside the buildings, I set up small decontamination chambers on every door using my nanotech, I handed a few masks to each of us, 10 for Kiriko, 10 for Me, 10 for Kenji2 and 10 for Asa. after knocking on many doors and delivering many masks, we all filled up inside a small boat, I took off, leaving gassed Kanezaka behind, the Fox Shrine's Fox Statue nose was sticking out, I sighed and radio'd our evac team, I heard a hum and a helicopter emerges through the gas, "Plague Actual to Phoenix 1, Helo inbound" "Much obliged Plague Actual, Phoenix out" I turned on the radio, "The following cities have been airstriked by OMEGA, New York, Kanezaka, Gibraltar, Sydney, Toronto, Delhi, King's Row and Busan" Kiriko almost gasped, "Oh no! Hana!" My blood ran cold, Levi told me about MEKA's attempt at betrayal, and it became even colder when Hana's voice came over, not from the radio, but from the skies, I looked up to see Plague Actual crashing into the port, "I finally found you ,little birdie" I pulled out my Katana, Kiriko was surprised, "Kenji? What happened?" She turned to Hana, "Besto Friendo! Come down here!" I climbed up to the bridge, Katana ready, she was supposed to die, how is she here?, "Numbers reincarnated me, I'm Faster, stronger, smarter, I'm better! I AM BETTER!" after hearing Hana repeat Homelander's rant, I was pissed, she almost killed my best friend, I'm gonna kill her, for good, I jumped at her, swinging my katana, it dented her mech, before she grabs my katana, snapping it, before punching me back into the bridge, splintering it and falling into the sea, my armor goes offline, I was falling, quickly, I'm also running out of air, I can feel the water seeping into the suit, through the cracked helmet, water started to back up inside my helmet, I can't get it off, shit! Shit! What will Hana do to Kiriko? What about the civilians? I pulled with all my strength to the emergency life jacket tab, grabbing it and pulling it, I heard and felt a loud explosion above, I rose, fire and purple gas above me, I reached the surface, and everyone was gone, along with Kiriko, I see the mech flying away, over comms I hear Kiriko, "Hana what are you doing! Get that Syringe away from me! Hey! Stop! Let the Kitsune- guuiiiiiiiddddeeeeeeee" Shit! I heard a lot of random noises before clear as a bell, I heard, "I'm ready, Hana" in a sickly voice, I started kind-of-choking, I knew she was injected with the serum, straight into her bloodstream, I didn't want to believe it, I need her, I don't know what I'd do, I pulled out a railgun and tried to open my wingsuit, "Hey, Phoenix" My phoenix summoned, "Yeah? What's up?" "It's been a while since you talked" "yeah, your girlfriend's spirit is more chatty I swear" "ha, anyways, I need you to power my armor" "I'll do you one even better" he hovers over me "get ready Kenji, when this happens, you fly, as fast as possible" "got it" He dropped down and locked onto my shoulders, then, he started to infuse with my armor, I felt more warm, and ready, I jumped off the burning wreckage of the ship and took off, flying faster than ever, in no time, I caught up to the mech, Hana shot at me, but I dodged them and deflected one, shooting into the Mech's thrusters, diving down, I pulled up next to the mech to try to grab Kiriko, only to get hit several times with rockets and Kunais, I pulled out a shield to try getting closer, but Hana grabbed me by my wing, and broke, I heard my phoenix yell "Shit!" I rolled and tackled the mech, I pulled out my knife and stabbed the bubble-like cockpit, chipping away at the glass, before the mech grabbed me, and threw me into a boat, I landed in the deck hard, breaking my other wing and my arm, I stood up, and breathed heavily, Sailors hurried to the deck as I gazed at the mech, who was taking away Kiriko, I shot at the mech, but it did nothing, I dropped on the ground and started hyperventilating, I tried to create a portal, and it worked, I trudged through into the lobby of the overwatch base, and face planted, I coughed up blood and Genji and Levi ran to me, I was only able to groan out "They got Kiriko, Hana's Alive" and fainted. I woke up in a hospital bed for maybe the 4th time in this story, I looked down to see aquamarine hair, I was almost ecstatic with happiness, thinking Kiriko came back, only for it to fade away, only another fragment, I was pretty banged up, I need to get her back, and distribute the cure, I turned to Angela, who was working on the desk next to me, "Hey Angela, how's the cure coming along?" "It's almost done" "Great, I need a lot of them, along with an armor upgrade" "got it, Genji already asked about the armor" "Thanks" I relaxed, and thought of where Hana could have taken Kiriko, Levi and the rest of Phoenix team was next, "Boss-" "Please, call me Kenji" "alright, Kenji, we have tracked D.va's mech down to a Hashimoto stockhouse, the gas has dissipated, and people are roaming free, it's almost as if nothing happened, the Hashimoto safehouse had been repurposed into a fish market, so there will be civilians, so no airstrikes" "Got it, let's move out" "What about your armor?" "I can make it on the Orca, let's go" I unplugged everything from my body and fetched my weapons, after sprinting to the bay, where the Orca was in idle, Athena spoke up, "going somewhere?" "Yeah, Hashimoto Stockhouse, we tracked Kiriko and Hana down there, we're stopping this right here right now"
We hopped into the orca and we took off, I started designing my armor, gold outlines, sort-of medieval knight look, glowing red night vision goggles, perfect
Levi looked at it and whistled, "looking good, can we get our own armors?" "Sure" Levi made a quick sketch and copied it onto the terminal Everyone was glued to the windows and made their own armors,
Before we landed we were all kitted out. Tracers, and everything, I can hear some clamoring, meaning we were close, I jumped down, people are a bit scared, "don't worry, it's us, the DLA, we heard about a kidnapping of an overwatch agent, we won't be long, just stay out of our way, thanks"
I used a few secret routes, and we were looking over the fish market, we positioned ourselves over a skylight, I wrap up a knot on a chimney, and lowered myself down, I was a bit taken aback, there was a main market, and a little cranny covered by crates, I landed on the ground softly, and climbed the hay bales,taking a quick peek, plopping down thermals, I dug through a bale, and got my gun ready to engage, everyone behind me, I dashed through the bale, hay flying everywhere, everyone followed, immediately I locked onto Hana, firing 5 shots into her chest, purple blood splattered on the wall, A kunai flew past me, I yell, "Secure Hana, I'll get Kiriko" I gave chased, multiple kunai flying at me, rolling and dodging and everything, grappling at the rafters, swinging and kicking the hooded figure down, the figure fell down, and stopped moving, I caught up to them and pull the hood off, PURPLE hair shot out, I almost started laughing, and then injected the syringe, or at least, tried to , she kicked me, and I landed in a cart, fish covered my brand new armor, "aw come on Kiri! Look what you did!" I cleaned the fish guts off of me, and felt a barrage of 100 kunai just blitzing through my overshield, I covered my mask, which was cracking a bit, she twisted my arm and threw me off the port and into the water, I got out using my boosters, Infected Kiriko jumped at me, clawing and destroying everything on my armor, I tried to stay in the air, but Kiriko wrenched my booster, before making it overload, exploding it, we flew straight into the stockhouse, where Phoenix team was still fighting the undead Hana's mech, I landed on the ground, I heard Kiriko yell, "Let the Kitsune Guide you!" And a PURPLE FOX jumped up and started BITING MY ARM, I tried to get it off, before calling on my Phoenix, "Dude, get her off me!" "My Pleasure" He shot out a beam of flames, burning the hay and floor underneath us, but getting the fox spirit off me, "Now, do me a favor and restrain her" "Ok" Kiriko randomly stopped attacking me, and stared, before her eyes became brown instead of the sickly shade of blue before, "Kenji, what's up with that armor? What's going on? Why is your team fighting Hana? Why are there Bite marks on your arm? Why do you have so many kunai stuck to you?" I ran at her, Syringe ready, blue started to return, but I grabbed a Suzu and made her chug it, before sticking the syringe into her neck, she tries to attack me, but she fell asleep mid swing, falling on top of me, "phoenix 1 to all stations, Kiriko is secure, how about Hana?" "We stuck a syringe in her, she's chill now" "Great, Phoenix out" A helicopter landed near the port, bearing a special emblem, Omega's here, I duck, after gently setting Kiriko down, I began firing at the men, who were pouring out of the helicopter, Levi pulled the pin on a Semtex grenade and it stuck onto a turbine, the helicopter exploded, sinking into the Kanezaka waters, "Omega knows we're here! Let's move!" I opened a portal and everyone ran in, I stayed back to help everyone leave, I positioned myself over a building, and jumped, sniper rifle in hand and yelled, "360 LOLOLOL" I fired off, making a crater in the OMEGA soldier's head, landing flat on my back, at shot at the storming enemies, throwing a C4 explosive, sticking to the face to an Omnic, and I smacked the side of the detonator,hearing a loud explosion and fish flopping everywhere, I took Kiriko into the portal and closed the portal behind me, god I'm exhausted...
