Curtis began.
"Yeah except there's no cars beeping this time."
Beth replied as she kept her head laid on his chest.
They continued to lay there for a moment in silence as Curtis gently pressed his lips to Beth's forehead.
"Curt?"
"Yeah."
He said against her forehead.
"Are we the only ones left in this carpark?"
"Probably not, why?"
"Just wondering if we're gonna get interrupted again."
As if on cue, one of the security members knocked on the car window.
"Fuck this is awkward."
Curtis mumbled as he unreclined the seat and rolled down the window.
"Sorry Sir, but we're locking up now. Can you move your car?"
"Yeah no worries mate. We're leaving now."
"Great. Thank you."
Curtis rolled up the window and Beth got up from his lap and climbed over to the passengers seat. Curtis slowly backed out of his parking spot and began to head out of Anfield towards his house.
"So aside from um the last five minutes, is there anything you have to say about what's just happened?"
"What that Jackson's a fucking dickhead and Harrison's an obsessed prick and they both need to stop involving themselves in my life?"
"Right well-"
Curtis was interrupted by an phone call coming from an unknown number.
"Is that them?? I have a few words to say to the pair of them."
"Beth I'm gonna answer but you can't say a word okay? Promise me."

Curtis said before picking up the phone.

Curtis shushed Beth before continuing

"So I'm your girlfriend huh?"
Beth said to Curtis once the phone call had ended.
"What am I supposed to say; the girl who I like and have kissed but we haven't actually had a conversation about that yet?"
"She said Beth as soon as you said girlfriend..."

"Firstly, don't tell me to shush. Secondly, did you just brozone me?? AFTER KISSING ME?!!?"

Curtis said as he took one of his hands off the steering wheel and placed it on her thigh.
Beth was silenced. His hand was on her thigh and he'd just called her 'my love'.
Actually she wasn't silenced for very long.
"So back to the girlfriend thing..."

"Well yes but you can't be asking me like this the fuck."

Curtis fondly rolled his eyes at her before pulling up outside his driveway.
"This isn't my house..."

Curtis said as he stopped midway through taking his seatbelt off.

Beth said as she picked up her bag and got out of the car.
"This girl."
Curtis said to himself as he took off his seatbelt and got out of the car too.
"Well hurry up then."
Beth said as she stood outside the front door.
"Patience woman."
Curtis said as he approached the front door.

The two of them made their way into the house and Curtis led Beth into his kitchen/ living room area.
"Your decor's nice."
Beth remarked.
"Thanks."
Curtis replied.
"Can I have a spare change of clothes please?"
Beth asked.
"Sure."
Curtis guided Beth to the spare room which had a bathroom attached to it.
"Lemme go grab some clothes real quick."
He grabbed a pair of his grey shorts and a white t shirt and handed it to her before making his way downstairs.

Beth would be lying if she said she didn't spend her entire shower thinking about their kiss. It was only when she came out of the shower, changed and brushed her hair that she remembered everything else that had happened. Jackson and Harrison were gone now but she still needed to have a conversation with her siblings. One that was better done sooner rather than later.

Beth was getting ready to go to bed when she saw Curtis stood at the door.
"What?"
She asked him.
"Do you wanna maybe... watch a movie?"
"Aren't you tired after the game?"
"I mean, a little? But like still."
"Sure."
Beth followed Curtis to the room upstairs which was his. The two of them got into bed and Beth cuddled up to his chest. He wrapped one arm around her whilst the other held the remote.
"What do you wanna watch?"
He asked as he placed a gentle kiss on her forehead.
"Pirates of the Caribbean."
"I love those movies."
"Me too."
Curtis found it, put it on and the two of them began to watch. Beth's eyes were focused on the screen but her mind was someplace completely different. Curtis. I mean when was he not on her mind? But right now, with his hand on her waist and her head on his chest he was all that was occupying her mind.
"I see you and Naomi made up."
"Yeah we did."
"That's good."
"Yeah."
Beth looked up at Curtis to see him looking down at her. His eyes looked down at her lips before he moved in and pressed his against hers. The kiss began to deepen slightly, the movie long forgotten, as Curtis fully pulled Beth onto him and the two of them sat there kissing.
"You're beautiful."
