about an hour later, when the movie had just finished, you woke up and arose from yuji's lap,
"have a nice sleep?" he asked. you simply nodded and rubbed your eyes. you yawned quickly and checked the time. it was only 5:42pm.
there was soon a knock on your door so you went to open it. you saw megumi and nobara,
"HEY Y/NNN," she beamed, "do you wanna hang out with megumi and i? we wanna have a sleepover! also have you seen itadori? we went to ask him but he wasn't in his dorm-" she rambled, looking around the dorm to which she saw yuji lounging on the couch,
"woowww, so you guys were hanging out without us?!?" nobara put her hand on her chest dramatically,
"i haven't even said anything yet.. and no i was just letting him stay because he was a little down from last night.."
"it looks like you don't like us very much, y/n," megumi spoke with a small smirk,
"you too, megs?" you sighed, "how about i make it up by buying us food for tonight's sleepover,"
"sounds good to me! i want sushi," nobara smiled,
"how did fushiguro even agree to a sleepover," yuji laughed,
"i had to physically drag him out of the dorm," nobara sighed, "he's so fat, it's not even funny. i was STRUGGLING,"
"nah, that's disrespectful.." you fueled the fire,
"right.. fushiguro, why are you letting nobara violate you like this,"
"i'm choosing to be kind today," megumi said quietly,
"that's new.." yuji sighed.

after a couple minutes of you guys just talking about pointless things, nobara suggested that you all go shopping together. everyone agreed to her suggestions because even if you had refused, she would have dragged you to go..
after reaching the shopping mall, you and nobara decided to drag megumi and yuji to a clothing store for women to get second opinions on any clothes you picked out,
you browsed some dresses with nobara since the catalogue the store had here for dresses was really good. yuji and megumi also tried helping the both of you pick out dresses as well, since they got bored just standing there.
megumi was no help. he just picked out the ugliest clothes you had ever seen and said,
"this would look so good on you,"
nobara slapped him in the back of his head while you murmured about how megumi was trying to set you and nobara up for failure..
yuji on the other hand was actually pretty helpful and picked out some nice dresses and tops for the two of you.
once you and nobara were satisfied with the amount of clothes you had, you both trekked to the dressing room and had megumi and yuji sit down to rate all the outfits.
you and nobara decided to try on all the dresses first, starting with your own choices, then yuji's picks, and to both your's and nobara's dismay, you guys would be trying on what megumi picked last..
you and nobara came out of the dressing room in matching dresses,
"what's the verdict?" she asked,
"well i think the style looks good on both of you, but the colour suits kugisaki better. i don't think y/n should get it," yuji said,
"i agree," megumi added
"okay! next!" nobara exclaimed.
you put on a dress that you picked personally that you really liked,
"what do we think?" you asked. yuji examined the dress,
"it looks good," is all megumi said,
"i think it really suits you! but i think you should try the dress i picked out for you!!" he smiled cheekily. nobara then came out of her stall.
"woah, nobara that's stunning on you.." you spoke in awe. she came out wearing a tight fit red dress that was more for formal outings,
"thank you! that dress really suits you by the way!"
"thanks," you smiled, going back into the stall to try yuji's dress on. it was an informal off-white sundress.
once you put it on you genuinely thought it looked really pretty on you. you walked out of the stall,
"woah, you finally found a dress that looks good on you," megumi sneered,
"shut up, megs!"
you looked towards yuji to find a reaction from him, but all he did was stare. you felt yourself getting a little self-conscious,
"bro, i think you broke itadori," nobara laughed, walking out of the stall in a dress megumi picked,
"uhh, if it doesn't look good, i don't think i'll cop-" you smiled sheepishly,
"no! get it, please. you look gorgeous in it!" yuji blurted. megumi started actually laughing at the boy,
"you're so whipped," he whispered to yuji. it was low enough to the point you couldn't hear it,
"oooh~~" nobara cooed, "anyways, fushiguro really sucks at picking out dresses!" she complained, pointing at the neon pink dress megumi had chosen. he simply laughed,
"you look so dumb,"
"i don't think pink is your colour," yuji cackled, tears in his eyes.
you then tried on megumi's choice. it was a neon orange, frilly dress,
"i am not coming out in this!" you yelled,
"come on, y/nn, don't be a party pooper," nobara said menacingly,
"megs, you seriously suck," you walked out and everyone laughed,
"oh my god. you look like a traffic cone," nobara chuckled,
"let me live! at least im a cute traffic cone," you complained, going back in to change into your regular clothes.

nobara went to pay while you were in a dilemma. you only had enough money for one dress but you were in between the dress you picked out and the dress yuji picked out.
you really liked how the one you chose looked on you. the colour and the fit was great. you also liked the sundress yuji got you. it was a whole different vibe and everyone else liked it,
'i guess i'll just go with yuji's pick. but i really liked the other one!! ugh whatever.'
you walked back to the dress rack and put your pick back. yuji came up to you and questioned it to which you responded,
"i only have enough money for one,"
"but didn't you really like the one you chose?"
"yeah.. i did, but i like this one too and everyone else seems to like it as well," you explained.
the boy looked down at you and sighed,
"okay i guess, go pay then," he quickly shooed you off to the cash register, where you paid for the dress and walked out to meet everyone else.
you only saw megumi and nobara, so you asked where yuji was to which they both responded with a shrug. megumi called him up and yuji just said that he was in the restroom and would be out soon.
you all went to the food court and grabbed some food while waiting for yuji. he eventually came down with a bag in his hand and got himself some food.
after eating, you all did a bit of shopping for megumi and yuji, especially megumi, since nobara claimed he had zero sense of fashion, then you all went back to jujutsu high.

you sluggishly walked back to your dorm with yuji while nobara and megumi went back to their own dorm to grab a change of clothes,
"don't you need to get changed, yuji?' you questioned, looking at the boy who stepped foot into your dorm once again,
"yeah, i will get changed, i just wanted to show you the gift i got for you," he handed you one of the shopping bags. you raised a brow and took a look into the bag, seeing the dress that you loved sitting in there. your eyes sparkled,
"why?" is all you asked,
"because you really liked it! you gotta stop letting other people influence your decisions," he exclaimed. you simply chuckled,
"i guess you're right. thank you yuji," you gave him a long hug before he walked out to get changed into his pyjamas.
