Gadis itu sedang menata rias wajahnya dengan solekan yang nipis sahaja dan dia mengenakan lipstick bewarna pink, sesuai dengan kulitnya yang putih mulus itu. Rambutnya diikat dengan half-bun style.
Tiba-tiba Amy Wilton masuk ke dalam kamar itu.
"Wow! You look so beautiful, Aurora!." Puji Amy Wilton.
Eve Aurora tersenyum.
"It's just a simple, Amy."
"Less is better, you know." Balas Amy Wilton lalu duduk di atas katilnya sambil memandang ke arah Eve Aurora yang masih sedang bersiap-siap itu.
"Aurora, do you find any weird things on Ryeo lately?." Soal Amy Wilton.
"Nope. I didn't see him lately. Why?."
"It's just weird. He seems like he jealous."
"Jealous?."
"Yup. About you and our guest, Carlisle."
Eve Aurora ketawa.
"... Me and Carlisle Reith? You must be joking, Amy. I don't have a special relationship with him. And Ryeo? It's nonsense for Ryeo to feel jealous."
"But you and Carlisle seem a match for each other, Aurora. It's just a perfect combination!."
"It's ridiculous, Amy. Besides, he's like my brother to me."
Amy Wilton ketawa.
"Mmm.. If you change your mind later, I'll be the first person who's supporting you, Aurora. Remember that."
Eve Aurora ketawa mendengarkan kata-kata Amy Wilton itu. Dia dan Carlisle Reith? Dia gelengkan kepalanya.
"So, where do you taking him for dinner?."
"I didn't know yet. You have a better suggestion?."
"Mmm.. I suggest you to go to Restaurant-café Van den Hogen. It has outdoor seating with a magnificent view over the sea. It serves great cocktails and vegan dishes. And it's my favourite restaurant, I recommended!."
"I have to try it! Thanks Amy. By the way, how do I look?." Eve Aurora memusingkan tubuhnya dihadapan Amy Wilton.
"Pretty as always!." Jawab Amy Wilton tersenyum.
"Oh, Amy! Thank you. I'll try to be back before 11 pm."
Amy Wilton ketawa.
"Aurora, you're not child anymore. You can coming back anytime you want, but please be safe." Pesan Amy Wilton.
Gadis itu ketawa. Disebabkan dia sudah terbiasa dengan peraturan keluarganya, jadi ke mana-mana sahaja, dia akan memastikan untuk pulang sebelum jam 11 malam.
"Alright, Amy." Mereka berdua ketawa.

Ryeo Matthias memandang ke arah laut itu sambil memegang botol beer. Fikirannya menerawang mengingati Eve Aurora dan tetamu lelaki tersebut, entah mengapa dia merasa agak emosi apabila mengingati hal itu.
Dia meneguk beer itu.
"I'm jealous?." Dia tertawa sinis, lalu meneguk beer itu lagi.
Deeply breath.
Eve Aurora tersenyum sambil berjalan-jalan menyelusuri jalan menuju ke arah Restaurant-café Van den Hogen, bersama-sama dengan Carlisle Reith.
"So, Brother Carl, how do you know my sister in law?."
"I'm her big fan. I coincidentally met her when I visited Finland, before she married your brother."
"And do you get close to her?."
"Not really. Because your brother doesn't allow me." Carlisle Reith ketawa.
Eve Aurora ketawa. Ya, Isaac Shiloh seorang yang tersangatlah protective terutamanya dengan orang-orang yang dia sayangi.
"Is she happy with her life?." Soal Carlisle Reith.
"Of course, she's living her best life. With her husband and their kids."
"I'm happy to hear that."
"Do you love her so much?." Soal Eve Aurora.
Manakala Carlisle Reith juga membalas senyuman gadis itu.
"Not really, but I'm truly happy if she's happy. I couldn't do anything else, right?."
"Yes. Absolutely yes, Brother Carl." Jawab Eve Aurora tersenyum.
"Well, Eve or Aurora, which one I should call you?." Soal Carlisle Reith tersenyum nakal, menjadikan kedua-dua matanya sepet.
Gadis itu tertawa.
"I'm still undercover, so I would love if you call me by Aurora." Jawab Eve Aurora.
"Aurora, it's a lovely name. My mother's name is also Aurora, Laurence Aurora."
"It's a beautiful name. She must be beautiful, isn't she?."
"... For me, she's the most beautiful women. Nobody couldn't beat her beauty."
"Including me or Sister Lea?." Usik Eve Aurora nakal.
Lelaki itu ketawa, senang hati dengan usikan nakal gadis di sebelahnya. Dia merasakan senang dengan pertemuan mereka berdua itu.
"Welcome to the restaurant."
"You own this restaurant also?." Soal Carlisle Reith.
"Nope, I didn't."
"You greet me like you own this restaurant, Aurora." Gadis itu tertawa.
"This was my first time to try the foods at this restaurant. It was recommended by my roommate. With this beautiful view, so, I think I should try it."
"So, you brought me here, to try the foods?."
"Yes. You're the chef. And it's my appreciation for your help. Of course, on behalf of Rayne's family. I'm pretty sure my mom would love it if she knew what happened."
"It's just small helps, Aurora. I'm glad that I could help you and your family."
Mereka berdua berbalas senyuman seketika sebelum melangkah memasuki ke dalam restaurant tersebut.
Sementara itu, di Rayne's Mansion, kelihatannya keluarga Rayne sedang menikmati makan malam bersama-sama. Senyuman Ivy Rose terukir saat melihat cucunya iaitu Lilith Ardelia Ruelle yang sedang makan itu.
"Good girl, Lilith." Puji Ivy Rose sambil tersenyum bahagia. Bahagia menikmati hari-hari yang terindah bersama-sama keluarganya. Dia akan terus membahagiakan dirinya, itulah amanah terakhir suaminya yang ingin melihatnya gembira. Dan ya, dia sangat bahagia. Di usia yang semakin meningkat ini, dia hanya ingin menghabiskan masa-masa yang tersisa ini bersama orang-orang yang dia sayang, sebelum dia bertemu dengan Ian Rayne akhirnya.
"I will always wait for you, my Rose." Kedengaran suara suaminya. Ivy Rose tersenyum.
"Lea, Shiloh, do you know what's happened at the hotel today?." Soal Ivy Rose.
"Yes, mom. About the French meals?." Soal Isaac Shiloh.
"Yes, absolutely yes. And I want to say thank you to the chef for his helps." Dia mengetahuinya daripada Alejandro Marco. Dia senang mempunyai mata-mata selain anaknya, Eve Aurora.
"You may ask Angel." Beritahu Isaac Shiloh dengan nada cemburu. Ivy Rose terus menoleh ke arah menantunya.
Lea Heloise Angel mencubit lengan suaminya membuatkan suaminya mengaduh kesakitan.
"Aww! It's hurt, sweetheart!."
Ivy Rose tertawa melihat keletah anak dan menantunya itu.
"By the way, you know the chef, Lea? What's his name?."
"His name is Carlisle Reith. Yes, I know him, mom. He's my friend and also, he's my fan."
"Great! Can you send my regards and thank you to him on behalf of me, Lea?."
Lea Heloise Angel menoleh ke arah suaminya yang juga sedang memandangnya. Dia tertawa. Wajah suaminya itu penuh dengan rasa cemburu.
"Sure, if your son allows me, mom." Jawab Lea Heloise Angel mengusik suaminya.
Ivy Rose tertawa sambil memandang ke arah anak lelakinya itu. Dia geleng kepala, perangai anak lelakinya terlalu menyamai perangai suaminya.
"Shiloh...?." Panggil Ivy Rose.
"Mmm... Alright. But only through the phone."
Lea Heloise Angel dan Ivy Rose ketawa.
"Ibu, ayah macam ini juga ke?." Soal Lea Heloise Angel.
Ivy Rose tertawa.
"A little bit. But his jealousy is the worst!." Mereka berdua ketawa.
Isaac Shiloh melirik tajam ke arah isterinya itu. Biarpun mereka telah berkahwin dan mempunyai seorang cahayamata, namun perasaan cemburunya masih ada. Hatinya hanya milik isterinya sahaja, dan isterinya hanya miliknya.
"... Mmm I was worried about the kitchen. Sepanjang pemerhatian ibu, yang menjadi masalah kepada hotel kita adalah makanan yang diminta oleh tetamu hotel.... Mmm..." Sambung Ivy Rose lagi.
"We'll find another chef later. Tukang masak yang mampu untuk masak segala jenis masakan, termasuklah masakan dari negara lain." Isaac Shiloh mencelah.
"I agree. Lagi pula ibu, hotel itu memang ada potensi untuk naik semula. Cuma ianya akan ambil masa sedikit."
"Lea, what if I hire him to be our chef? Do you think it's a good idea?." Usik Ivy Rose nakal.
"It's a great idea, mom!." Jawab Lea Heloise Angel lalu tertawa bersama-sama ibu mertuanya itu. Manakala Isaac Shiloh hanya menatapnya dengan pandangan tajam.
"I beg your pardon, my wife?." Lea Heloise Angel tertawa nakal. Dia suka mengusik suaminya, dia suka melihat wajah cemburu suaminya itu. Hey, cemburu tandanya sayang, bukan? Dengan pantas, dia menggengam tangan suaminya dengan erat.
"It's good for our hotel, not for me, my sweet husband." Pujuk Lea Heloise Angel tersenyum.
"You're so lucky, mom was here." Usik Isaac Shiloh pula. Bulat mata Lea Heloise Angel memandang suaminya yang sedang tersengih nakal itu. Dia malu diusik sebegitu terutamanya dihadapan ibu mertuanya.
Ivy Rose tertawa lalu bangun dari kerusi itu, dan menuju ke arah cucunya.
"Lilith, come with Nanny. I'll take you upstairs. We let your parents to settle about this matter, privately. Andrew, come and help me."
"I'm coming, Lady Rayne." Jawab Andrew tersenyum lalu mendukung Lilith naik ke tingkat 2 kediaman mewah tersebut.
Lea Heloise Angel terdiam, tidak terkata apa. Tidak menyangka bahawa ibu mertuanya akan bertindak sedemikian. Manakala Isaac Shiloh tersenyum nakal sambil memerhatikan wajah isterinya yang sudahpun berona merah itu. Dia tersenyum. Isterinya masih kelihatan cantik dan dia masih tergila-gilakan isterinya itu, sama seperti sebelumnya. Dengan perlahan-lahan dia memeluk erat tubuh isterinya itu.
"My husband... Please behave." Bisik Lea Heloise Angel.
Isaac Shiloh tersenyum.
"You ask me to behave when I'm with you? No way, I really can't, my wife." Dengan perlahan-lahan Isaac Shiloh mencempung tubuh isterinya lalu dibawanya menaiki anak tangga untuk ke kamar tidur mereka di tingkat 2.
"I'm punishing you for talking about another guy, my beautiful wife." Bisik Isaac Shiloh tersenyum nakal.
"But it's not my faults, my sweet husband."
"I didn't care. What I care the most is, you look so beautiful right now, my wife.. How can you look so beautiful like this? And you're my wife. My beautiful wife. I'm so lucky to have you." Goda Isaac Shiloh.
Isterinya tersenyum sambil membalas renungan suaminya itu. Dengan perlakuan romantis sebegini pun, tiap-tiap saat dia terus jatuh cinta kepada suaminya tanpa henti. Perasaan cintanya tidak pernah padam atau terhenti untuk lelaki yang bernama Isaac Shiloh Rayne ini.

Ryeo Matthias memerhatikan gelagat mereka berdua yang sedang menikmati makan malam dengan gembira itu. Dia meneguk beer dan merasa sedikit mabuk. Kemudiannya, dia berjalan-jalan ke arah pesisir pantai.
"How many days will you be staying here?." Soal Eve Aurora yang sedang menikmati Fish and chips itu.
"Mmm until this weekend. Then, I will fly back to Paris and continue my routine."
"Paris? It's a romantic city, right?."
"Yes, it is. Come to Paris and I will show you the city of love."
"Someday, perhaps... So, are your parents staying with you?."
"Nope. They're staying in Ottawa, Canada. So, I keep traveling around the world. Sometimes, I'll visit them and sometimes, they'll fly to Paris to visit me."
"It's so much fun, isn't it?." Carlisle Reith tertawa.
"Yes, it is... So, tell me about yourself, Aurora."
Gadis itu tertawa. Apalah yang ingin diceritakan kepada lelaki ini, tiada yang istimewa tentang dirinya kecuali tentang hal tragis yang menimpa keluarganya dan dia tidak mahu menjadikan topik itu sebagai trademarks dirinya.
"There's nothing special about my life, Brother Carl. As you know, my father has been killed by his step-brother. And now, I want to build this hotel again."
"I'm sorry, Aurora. But I don't understand why you want to build up this hotel again? It's look fine, to me."
"Well, after my father died, his step-brother sold this hotel. Selama bertahun-tahun hotel ini terbengkalai tanpa ada apa-apa perubahan, sehinggalah kami membelinya semula. Dan kami ingin membaikpulih hotel ini semula."
"Oh, I see. Hotel ini mesti menyimpan sejuta kenangan, kan."
"Mestilah, terutamanya kepada ibu kami. Hotel ini ada nilainya yang tersendiri. Banyak kenangan mereka berdua disini. Dan saya disini adalah untuk membangunkan semula hotel ini, dan juga memberikan banyak peluang pekerjaan kepada penduduk setempat. Sayang jika tempat indah sebegini tidak dihargai dengan sebaiknya, kan."
Carlisle Reith tersenyum. Dia menyukai pemikiran gadis ini, biarpun masih muda namun gadis ini mempunyai misi dan matlamatnya yang tersendiri.
"Saya yakin awak akan berjaya suatu hari nanti, Aurora."
"Terima kasih, Brother Carl. And please, keep this as our secret."
"Of course! Don't worry." Mereka berdua berbalas senyuman sebelum menyambung menikmati pemandangan indah pelabuhan itu di waktu malam.
Tidak semena-mena, hand phone miliknya berbunyi menandakan ada panggilan masuk. Panggilan dari hotel. Tanpa berlengah lagi, Eve Aurora terus menjawab panggilan itu.
"Hello, Aurora?." Kedengaran suara Kristine Richie.
"Yes, Kristine." Tiba-tiba kedengaran seperti ganggang telefon itu dirampas oleh seseorang.
"Aurora! I want you to come back to the hotel. Immediately!." Arah Alejandro Marco dengan tegas.
"What's happening, Tuan Alejandro?."
"There's huge issues here. Ada pencuri didalam hotel kita!." Jerit Alejandro Marco.
"What?!." Jerit Eve Aurora terkejut sambil memandang ke arah Carlisle Reith yang juga sedang memandang ke arahnya.
