you woke up to a pleasant, warm feeling. you looked down and saw yuji holding onto you for dear life like a koala. his arms were wrapped around your torso, with his head on your chest and his legs entangled with yours. it was honestly an enchanting sight for you.
you quickly snapped a picture before waking him up,
"yuji, i need to go now, shoko needs to give me a check up," you spoke quietly,
"noo, just stay for a little longer," he spoke in a muffled voice, burying his face into your tshirt. you sighed,
"five more minutes then.."
"mkayy,"
you chuckled and looked down at the boy,
'oh my god, sleepy yuji is so cute, i feel like im gonna blow up,'
you simply scrolled on your phone for 5 minutes and woke yuji up again,
"alright yuji, it's time for me to go,"
"mmmm, fine," he spoke in a low raspy voice. it lowkey made you get weak in the stomach... he slowly got up and stretched, "you're really comfy, you know"
"you are too," you giggled, "anyways, i'm gonna go meet with shoko, are you feeling alright?"
"i've felt better," is all he said. you went into thought for a little,
"how about you spend the day here. we'll get ice cream and we can have a movie day since we aren't doing anything. it'll be like when you were 'dead'" you laughed,
"yeah.. that would be nice. thanks y/n," he smiled. you left him in your dorm while you went to shoko's office for a check up.
you still didn't exactly know if you were fully healed or not after all. it was only the first time you had pulled off reverse cursed technique.

"alright! it looks like you're all good to go. great job by the way, y/n. learning reverse cursed technique at your age is really impressive," shoko congratulated you once she made sure you were in the clear,
"thank you shoko-san!"
"no problem, now get going. this is your only rest day until satoru comes back," she smiled. you simply laughed in response and waved goodbye before heading out.
you decided that now would be a good time to get some ice cream, since you were up and standing. you stopped by your dorm quickly, finding yuji passed out on your bed,
'poor boy. he must be beating himself up about the curses he killed last night,'
you decided to wake him up by laying on top of him, but that plan backfired on you because he just grabbed you tightly, to where you couldn't get out,
"yuji, let go! wake uppp," you groaned,
"no!" he denied,
"yuji, i'm seriouss, i can't breathe,"
in responsed to that, yuji simply let go of you slightly, but you still couldn't get out. you sighed,
"just let me go, i'll buy you whatever you want from the store,"
"okay!" he popped up from the bed, letting you go immediately,
'it was that easy???'

you told him to hurry up and get ready so he ran to his dorm and threw on a new tshirt and shorts,
"ready to go?" you asked. he confirmed to which you grabbed ijichi's car keys and walked towards the car,
"huh? you're driving?" he asked, "is this legal?!"
"not really, but it's fine, i have permission from ijichi. he knows i am a responsible driver. plus i have a fake license," you explained.
yuji just looked at you skeptically and told you that he trusted you not to kill him. he then asked for aux priveleges. you obviously gave in and said yes.
he started playing a song that he claimed was one of his favourites, and started literally belting out the lyrics. you had to give it to the boy for his confidence, but god, he could not sing. if he had to sing for his life, he'd be dead.
you endured his terrible singing for a whole 15 minutes until you reached the supermarket to which you sighed in relief,
"i saw that! what was that sigh!" he pushed you softly,
"yuji, for the love of god, never pursue a career in singing." you deadpanned,
"huh!" he exclaimed, "my singing is beautiful?!? what do you mean?!?"
"no. it's not. my ears are genuinely in pain,"
"you're mean,"
"yeah, yeah, pick out what snacks you want, dummy.."
he quickly ran off like a little kid into the candy isle, then into the ice cream isle, then the snacks isle. once he was done, he followed you around as you did your normal groceries as well.
you walked around with a calm look on your face, thinking about what you needed for your dorm. that's when you heard yuji call your name,
"hey, y/n, look here real quick!" he called.
you turned your head to see him holding his phone out, quickly taking a picture of you,
"and.. what was that for? you starting to crush on me?" you teased,
"i just thought you looked really pretty right now," he shrugged. you quickly turned around,
"oh, so i'm not always pretty?" you rolled your eyes dramatically, trying to conceal how giddy he just made you feel,
"no! i just wanted to capture the moment! this is a memory we can remember for ages. or at least you can remember.. when i get executed,"
you both went quiet,
"i won't let that happen," you muttered,
"what?"
"i'm not gonna let you get executed, i refuse," you chuckled. yuji laughed along with you,
"i hope your willpower is enough then,"
"it will be because i'm a powerful young woman!" you boasted,
"you sure are," he laughed, slinging his arm around your shoulder, "so what else do you need?"
you turned your flustered face away from yuji and looked over at your phone, checking the grocery list on it,
"all i need is a cart of eggs,"
"alright, i'll go get it for you. you can start paying," he offered,
"alright, thanks yuji," you smiled. he walked off and you went to the register to pay.
once you finished, yuji suddenly decided he wanted to do a vlog. you asked him what for and all he said is that it was for memories.
he set the camera on the dashboard of the car and started recording,
"hi vlog!" he exclaimed,
"uh hi," you said awkwardly,
"guys, y/n is driving, ILLEGALLY by the way! oh and i'm gonna do a haul of what we got! so y/n bought all of this and she got me-..." he started rambling to the camera about god knows what.
at this point you had tuned out his talking and whenever you could, you would take your eyes off the road for a second and just look at yuji.
you couldn't help that he was was easy on the eyes.. and the fact he just spoke to the camera like he was vlogging to the entire world was somewhat adorable..
once you got back to your dorm, yuji made himself at home with a small bucket of ice cream he got and a spoon. you say next to him and put on a movie none of you had watched yet,
"aren't you eating snacks?" he asked,
"oh.. no, i'm not in the mood to eat today," you replied nonchalantly,
"but you didn't eat yesterday either.."
"yeah, because we didn't have time during the mission,"
he simply sighed at your aguments and signaled for you to come closer to him. he got a heap of ice cream on the spoon and held it to your mouth,
"you're worried about me not eating, yet the first thing you give me is ice cream.." you deadpanned,
"it's not a proper meal, but you can't watch a movie without snacks," he smiled, "now eat,"
you took the ice cream from his spoon and continued watching the movie with him.
throughout some of it, you felt yourself get tired and so you told him that you wanted to go take a nap. he refused to let you go to your bedroom and simply laid your head down on his lap instead.
you turned your body around to face his stomach, where you decided to make a bold move and wrap your arms around his waist, shoving your head into his t-shirt and drifting off into your nap.
