Mazikeen gasped as she opened her eyes. She looked down at her hand and saw it was clutching another. She looked to her side and gasped,
"Sammy?"
Sam looked at her with tearful eyes,
"Maze,"
He pulled her into a tight embrace. Then they seperated and looked around,
"Are we dead?"
Mazikeen shrugged,
"I'm not sure,"
"Where are we?"
Mazikeen looked around and gasped again,
"We are on Cybertron?"
Sam tilted his head in confusion,
"Cybertron?"
Mazikeen nodded,
"Yeah...Primus has shown me before,"
They heard a voice,
"We have been watching both of you for a long time,"
They looked up and saw old Cybertronians walking toward them.
"You have fought for Optimus, our last descendant, with courage and with sacrifice, the virtues of a leader, a leader worthy of our secret. The Matrix of Leadership is not found, it is earned."
Mazikeen squeezed his hand.
"Return now to Optimus. Merge the Matrix with his spark. It is, and always has been, your destiny."
Mazikeen walked closer to them,
"Wait! How can I save them?"
The oldest Prime knelt down before her,
"You, who holds the might power of the All Spark, are not ready. There will be a heavy loss today."
Then Mazikeen felt a hand on her shoulder and looked up to see the Holo-form of Primus himself,
"Mazikeen Witwicky is under my direct apprenticeship. She is ready,"
Sam's eyes widened in shock as he watched the exchange.
"Primus, if the young human does this, we do not know the outcome,"
Primus nodded his head,
"I know I do not speak for her, but I do know that this valiant warrior is prepared to do anything it takes to protect her family,"
Mazikeen nodded and crossed her arms,
"What do I need to do?"
The youngest Prime sighed,
"You must let the power consume you, it will offline the unjust Cybertronians and heal the just,"
Mazikeen nodded and looked toward Primus,
"Whatever it takes,"
Primus smiled warmly at her and squeezed her shoulder gently,
"Whatever it takes,"
The oldest sighed,
"Be warned. Mazikeen Witwicky, this path you will tread is a dangerous one. We know not of what will happen to your soul or human body."
Mazikeen shrugged,
"I have survived everything so far...except maybe the last bit,"
Sam walked up to his sister,
"Are you ready?"
He held up the matrix for his sister to see,
"Yes, I am,"
