clover couldnt help smiling as a tired looking brady appeared on her phone screen.
"hii clover" he spoke out, his voice low and slow
clover giggled softly, "hello bray, you ok?" she asked him, his response being a slow nod
the teen admired the boy as he laid on his side, his chain slanted and his hair fluffy. "why are you so tired, sunshine?" she questioned
the boy blushed at the all familiar nickname, it'd been awhile since she called him that. and he missed every second of it
"i had a lot of interviews today, and i did so much talking. my mouth hurts from all my smiling, my feet hurt from all my standing." brady complained sleepily, his voice steady
clover hummed, telling him she was listening with interrupting him. "and i feel like im gonna pass out" he completed his rant
the girl felt bad, "bray, if you were tired why'd you facetime me?" she asked him, a soft voice to not ruin his sleepiness
brady shrugged softly, "you said you were bored on your story, and since i cant hangout i decided to call you" he explained
"brady... you sleeping, is way more important than my boredom" she lectured, trying to convince brady to go to sleep
the boy shook his head, "no, im fine . we just got on the phone i wont hang up yet" brady refused, he tried to make his voice stern but he ended up yawning mid sentence
clover smiled in awe at the boys pure adorableness. she couldn't help it, she clicked the facetime photo. brady blushed instantly at the words
'pretty girl took a facetime photo'
brady whined, "broo whyy" he dragged his words out as his blinking slowed, he quickened his blinks to keep himself awake
the teen girl felt terrible as she saw him fight his eyes as they tried to close. "brady noon, please go to sleep . i feel so bad watching you try to stay awake because of me . ill see you tomorrow anyways !" she reasoned
"no ! im fine clover, its okay . im not even tired" brady disagreed, trying not only to convince her but himself aswell .
clover came up with a counter offer, "how about, you go to sleep and-" "no clover" brady began to interrupt. "no let me finish ! you go to sleep and ill stay on the phone with you" she offered
brady began to argue, "no clover, you'll be super bored just seeing me sleep" he didnt want to get off of the phone with clover, she was definitely more important to him than sleep was.
clover denied his words. "no i wont, brady. i honestly might go to sleep too, im getting tired"
"are you sure?" brady questions "yes ! now close your eyes" clover told him
brady attempted to but after three minutes his mind wouldnt shut off. his blinked his eyes open, "hey clover... could you just like talk? i need something for my mind to focus on"
clover nodded, "yeah, of course !" she soon began her yapping, "so i was with olive at this diner yesterday for dinner, and oh em gee they had the best bagels on the planet !"
as she began to continue, she noticed bradys breathing grow heavier as sleep took over his body. clover couldn't help but admire the boy
she smiled before closing her eyes herself, excited to see brady the next day.
