Black souls were judged for their curves divine,
Lips full and lush, and bodies so grand,
Divided and shamed, they didn't understand.
Thick and proud, with beauty untamed,
They faced the scorn, the hurt, the disdain,
Yet now the tables have turned around,
The very same features they once put down.
Botox and fillers, they eagerly seek,
To mimic the beauty they once deemed unique,
Thick is celebrated, curves in demand,
Oh, the irony of this changing land.
Promoting what they once called ugly,
Embracing what they once deemed unworthy,
The essence of beauty, no longer confined,
In the hearts and souls of all humankind.
