Sameer got up after few hours and saw that the sun was at its full shine.He saw the time that ticked 8 am and quickly got up to get ready.
When he came out ready after bath, he headed towards Nanu and was relieved to see him much better, having soup on his bed and Munna guiding him for medicines.
Sameer : abhi kaise ho aap Nanu. Feeling better ?
Nanu (happily ) : Meri tabiyat toh tujhe dekh ke hi sudharne lagi thi. Kitne din baad ghar aaya hai.
Sameer scrunched his nose : Bas bas...ab emotional drama mat suru kar dijiye. Aap bhi jante hai ki main humesha aapke paas hi hun , chahe yahan rahun ya Mumbai me.
Nanu laughed : Chal ...ab aaya hai toh kuch din yahi reh ke kaam kar.
Sameer chukled and sat beside him : main yahin hun Nanu. Aap jabtak thik nahi ho jatey hai tabtak main hun.
Nanu : arey wah....phir toh mujhe thik hone ki koi jaldi nahi hai.
Sameer (angrily) : Nanu...
Munna was seeing to this bond and there was a smile on his face.
When Nanu relaxed after having soup, he turned towards Sameer and said quietly.
Munna : chalo dekh ke acha laga ki kam se kam Nanu ke sath toh tu wahi purana Sameer hai....badla nahi hai.
Sameer looked at him and holding his hand forcibly took him out and made him sit in living room and said : jitna taana marna hai maar le...chahe toh lad le. Kam se kam tere dil ki bhadas toh bahar aayegi.
Munna said sarcastically but calmly : jhagda karne jaisa rishta ab raha nahi....toh kyun kuch bolun....Bhai..Bade logon ke sath soch samajh ke baat karni padti hai.
Sameer got frustrated : Munna ye kya bade log bade log laga rakha hai ? Yaar..Kab tak naaraz rahega munna ? Aisa bhi maine kya kar diya....bas thoda waqt hi toh manga tha na.....Munna gussa ko piche chor ke zindagi ko aagey badhate hai na !
Munna stood with a straight face but didnt utter a word. Sameer took a sigh and asked : Tujhe Naina ki koi khabar hai kya? Usse koi contact hai tera ?
Munna lost his temper and said : zinda hai wo aur apni zindagi aaram se kat rahi hai....aapko chinta karne ki zarurat nahi hai Sameer Maheshwari ji.
It was difficult to say what Sameer felt at that moment when he realised that Munna is in contact with Naina and that he could meet her ,but his heart had an underlying hope that she would be still waiting for him.
Sameer whispered hesitantly : Kaisi hai wo....kahan hai .....uski shadi ho gayi kya ?
Munna (angrily) : sunna kya chahta hai tu....aur kis haq se puch raha hai tu.....aaj jab tujhe teri manzil mil gayi gayi toh tujhe Naina ki yaad aa gayi....itne saal kabhi khayal bhi aaya kya ki uski zindagi kaise beet rahi hogi.....Sameer mujhe majbur mat kar ki main kuch ulta seedha bol dun. Aur is baar mujhse kisi bhi tarah ke support ki ummeed mat karna.
Sameer had tears in his eyes. Munna's anger was tearing him.apart but he knew he had hurt not only Naina but munna too.
Sameer said in broken voice : Munna agar tujhe lagta hai ki main Naina ki zindagi ka sabse bada villain hun toh main phir kabhi tujhe apni shakal nahi dikhaunga.... kabhi nahi....par agar tune kabhi bhi meri imandari aur dil ki sacchai pe yakeen kiya ho toh mujhe ek mauka zarur dena apni baat rakhne ka.
Shayad main sabki nazar me bura ban gaya hun. Par Sameer ka pariwar aaj bhi wahin hai jo saalon pehle tha.
Though munna was angry but Sameer's tears were affecting him to the core.
When it started pricking him in his heart ,he turned towards him and said : Mujhe ghar pe thoda kaam hai...Nanu ka khayal rakhna aur dawai time pe dena. Maine prescription pe sab likh diya hai.
Sameer said softly : Kya main itna bura hun munna ,ki ab meri shakal bhi dekhna pasand nahi karega ?
Munna kept quiet for many seconds and then said : Sham me law garden me milte hai.
Saying so he went out of the house and Sameer smiled softly ,happy with a contentment that munna might soon give up his anger.

Naina and Preeti had decided to go out in the evening to make best use of the time they were together. They got ready in no time and were wandering in law garden .
Preeti : aa toh gaye hai ,ab kya karna hai.
Naina : Sabse pehle toh ghar ke liye thode saaman lene hai. Phir pani puri khayenge. Tumhe kuch chahiye. Kuch khareed lo khud ke liye.
Preeti : Main kya lungi ? Mujhe kuch nahi chahiye. Waise bhi papa ke paiso pe kabtak ye sab karun....jab khud ke honge toh dekha jayega.
Naina : arey kaun sa heere moti khareed rahi hai. Chal ek duppatta lete hai. Waise bhi mujhe red duppatta lena tha. Tum bhi le lena. Paise main de dungi.
Preeti : Arey nahi tum le lo. Mujhe kuch nahi chahiye. Waise bhi ab shopping ka koi saukh raha nahi. Haan uske baad panipuri zarur khayenge. Bahut din baad aise sath nikalne ka mauka mila hai. Yahan aa ke purane din yaad aa jatey hai.
Naina (sadly) : hmmm....purane din.
Wahin waqt acha tha na. Na koi chinta ,na pareshani. Na kisi dusre se koi lagao. Na dard. Bas humari family aur unke sath mahine me ek baar sath aana aur khoob maze karna.
Preeti : Haan....wo bachpan hi acha tha na. Bade hone ke baad toh zindagi itne dard deti hai ki zindagi se bharosa hi uth jata hai.
Naina saw preeti going into sadness and pain and so tried to divert her mind.
Naina : arey bade ho gaye toh kya hua....humdono aaj bhi sath law garden ghum rahe hai...Toh bachpan ke tarah panipuri aur chat ki race toh laga hi sakte hai. Chal jaldi se kaam khatm kar lete hai.mujhe toh abhi se muh me pani aa raha hai.

Munna was waiting for Sameer at the entrance of law garden since few minutes when he saw Sameer parking his car and rushing towards him.
Sameer : sorry sorry....thodi der ho gayi.
Bahut der se wait kar raha hai kya ?
Munna (sarcastically) : koi baat nahi.....samajhta hun , bada admi hai tu...agar tujhse milna hai toh tere liye logon ko intzar toh karna hi padega.
Sameer felt pain hearing munna's sarcaam but he ignored.
Sameer : Nanu ke doctor ghar pe the, unse Nanu ki health update le raha tha. Usi me thodi der ho gayi.
Munna felt bad over his reaction.They started walking in while talking.
Munna : sorry....gusse me bol gaya. Ab Nanu kaise hai ?
Sameer : Better hai par doctor ne kuch din complete rest bola hai.
Munna : iska matlab abhi kuch din toh Ahmedabad me rukega ?
Sameer : Haan atleast jab tak Nanu thik nahi ho jatey hai. Koshish karunga ki Nanu ko ab finally apne sath mumbai hi le jaun .par pata nahi wo manenge ya nahi.
Munna : kyun Ahmedabad me kante lagey hai kya ? Nanu ka buisness bhi toh yahin hai . Kabtak bhagta rahega.
Sameer got irritated : Bhag nahi raha hun.
Munna : achaaaaa.....khair chor. Behes nahi karni hai mujhe... bol kyun bulaya tha mujhe.
Sameer looked at munna : Kya rishte itne bigad gaye hai ki milne ke liye kisi wajah ki zarurat pade....Tu bhul gaya hoga par mujhe sabkuch yaad hai...kaise hum teeno isi law garden me masti karte the.
Munna (sarcastically) : waqt ke sath teeno alag alag ho gaye. Pundit se toh ab koi contact bhi nahi hai .
Sameer : kuch din pehle usse Mumbai me mulakat huyi thi. Office ke kaam se aaya tha.Filhal jhansi me hai par transfer hone wala tha. Aaj bhi bilkul waisa hi hai.....kuch nahi badla hai munna....hum zindagi ki jaddojehed me
Bhale hi idhar udhar ho jaye par dost toh humesha hi dost rehte hai. Main tum pundit, teeno aaj bhi wahi dost hai.
Munna (angrily) : itni dosti ki duhayi de raha hai toh gaya hi kyun tha chor ke....Kabhi socha ki teri ek dost aur bhi hai jiski zindagi teri wajah se daun pe lag gayi hogi....jab tu zindagi ki uchayian chu raha tha tab kabhi yaad kiya ki us dost ki zindagi kis tarah bikhar gayi hogi. Wo kis andhi tufan ka samna kar rahi hogi ?
Mr dost , zaruri nahi hai ki kisi manzil tak pahuchne ke liye aapko kisi humsafar ko beech raste me chodna pade , uske sath chal ke bhi manzil payi ja sakti hai.....Par tune toh bojh samajh ke usey nau se hi utar diya ye soch ke ki kahin teri nau doob na jaye...aur keh diya ki kinare pe khadi ho ke intzar karti rehna.
Sameer kept listening to Munna with his head down and finally asked softly : Tu Naina ke contact me hai na ? Shadi kar li kya usne ?
Munna (angrily): sunna kya chahta hai ?
Sameer heart was beating wildly and without doubt he wanted to hear that Naina was still waiting for him. But he didnt have the courage to speak anything and then listen to an answer that would break his heart and hope. He kept looking at him without any word.
Munna : aaine me apni shakal dekh...saaf saaf dikh raha hai ki tu kya chahta hai....par tuney bahut der kar di. Bahut hurt kiya usey.
Sameer's heart almost stopped beating but he still managed to utter in broken words: Naina ne ....shadi ...kar li kya ?
Munna : pata hai Sameer...insan ki fitrat hoti hai...ki jab koi insan paas hota hai toh hum uski ehmiyat nahi samajhte hai ,par jab wahi insan humse dur ho jata hai tab ehsas hota hai ki humne kya kho diya.
By now Sameer had understood that Naina had got married and he has lost her for ever. He felt a deep pain in his heart and a lone tear escaped out of his eyes. He sat on a bench with his head down , cheek wet with tears. Munna kept looking at him ,his heart filled with both pain and anger.
Sameer : Maine usse kaha tha ki wo mera intzar karey.
This infuriated munna and he shouted : Haan ,tu toh laat sahab tha na. Bol diya aur wo intzar karegi. Uska toh koi pariwar tha nahi jo usko kuch kehta. Wo toh ladki thi nahi jispe koi pressure hoga.....bas jo the wo aap the....the great Sameer Maheshwari jinhe ek mukam banana tha....zindagi me kuch karna tha....baki log toh bas aise hi nikkame nithalle hai. Unhe toh zindagi ki koi padi hi nahi thi na...... Sameer aaj tu bhaith ke aansoo baha raha hai...par jab usey chor ke gaya tha tab ye socha tha ki Naina ki zindagi me uske baad kya beeti hogi ? Til til ke mari hai wo. Maine khud usey dekha hai usey rotey huye ,sehte huye. Kya kya nahi saha usne.Usne kabhi kaha nahi par jo bhi usne saha hai ,usse toh uski atma bhi mar gayi hogi. Sameer sirf Naina hi nahi ,uske pariwar ko bhi sehna pada.
Sameer kept listening to munna and his guilt increased manifold. He could feel pain of losing Naina but the guilt of giving suffering to Naina was killing him. Tears started flowing out of his eyes uncontrollably.
Sameer : Munna maine kabhi nahi socha tha ki main Naina ko kho dunga. Bas us waqt meri priority kuch aur thi. Maine sapne me bhi kabhi nahi chaha ki meri wajah se Naina ko koi.takleef ho.par Break up bhi toh Naina ne hi kiya tha. Maine pehle bhi koishish ki thi usse baat karne ki par usne toh rishta hi tod liya. Agar mujhe pata hota toh main uske sath hota par usne kabhi kuch nahi kaha. Maine usey kuch letters bhi likhe the par ek ka bhi jawab nahi aaya.usne toh rishta hi tod liya tha.
Munna (sarcastically ):achaaaaa....isiliye aaj bhi akeli hai....aur teri tarah accept nahi karegi par aaj bhi bewakoof ki tarah tera intzar kar rahi hai.
Sameer jerked hearing that and felt as if he has got his lost heartbeat back.
He gaped at him and tried to absorb his words. Munna melted to some extent and soberred a little. Sitting beside him ,he said,
Munna : usne abhi tak shadi nahi ki hai. Bahut kuch beeta us pariwar pe.phir bhi Naina ne shadi nahi ki. Pragati vidya ka mandir me higher secondary me padhati hai. ...usi building me ,usi class me jahan tumlog pehli baar miley, jahan tumlog ki gehri dosti huyi aur pyar hua....
Sameer looked at him and said : Munna ...Main ek baar usse milna chahta hun.
