Mazikeen put on her gloves and slipped Phoenix in her bag as she walked out of her room. She gasped when she crashed into a foot and winced,
"Hey!"
Jazz chuckled and knelt down,
"Sorry, lil M,"
Mazikeen rubbed her nose and shook her head,
"Aren't you supposed to be in a meeting?"
Jazz crossed his arms,
"I was told I could leave early, we are heading out together,"
Mazikeen chuckled and nodded,
"True, let's go get Eddie,"
Jazz sighed and nodded,
"Yes, why is he coming?"
Mazikeen laughed and nudged his foot,
"Come on, it will be fun! Sam and Mikaela have been wanting to meet him,"
Jazz sighed,
"Fine,"
Mazikeen smiled,
"Anyways, then I am going to Los Angeles with him to meet his friends and his son,"
Jazz sighed,
"I still do not understand why I can not go with you,"
Mazikeen smiled at him and patted his foot,
"Los Angeles is no place for a nice ass car like yourself, it is but I don't think you will blend in very well...plus! You won't be able to stretch around at all if you came with us, and Eddie booked us tickets to fly there,"
Jazz sighed,
"You have my communication number?"
Mazikeen laughed and took out her phone,
"Yes, we already tested it five times to make sure it works too,"
Jazz sighed and knelt down to her level,
"I know...I'm just worried,"
Mazikeen smiled at him and showed him Phoenix,
"Don't worry! I have Phoenix with me, along with my guns, and my lightsaber, I'm a big girl, I can take care of myself,"
Jazz sighed and put down his servo for her to climb on, he quickly placed her on his shoulder and she held onto his shoulder as he started to walk again,
"I know you can...I just don't like leaving you alone,"
Mazikeen smiled and patted his shoulder,
"I know, but I'll call you every chance I get,"
Jazz nodded,
"You better,"
Mazikeen laughed and nodded,
"I want to get updates on how everyone is doing,"
Jazz chuckled,
"Well, everyone seems to like the new Autobots, including the new recruits that just got here,"
Mazikeen sighed in relief,
"I am very happy about that, almost everyone has a squad now, I just gotta finish setting it up when I get back,"
"It is only three days, you need to focus on relaxing,"
Mazikeen chuckled,
"You sound like Ratchet,"
Jazz gasped,
"Ouch, being compared to Ratchet? You are brutal,"
Mazikeen laughed,
"Thanks, I have been spending a lot of time with him,"
Jazz sighed,
"I know, you spend more time with him than me,"
Mazikeen patted his shoulder, right by his neck,
"Don't worry! When I come back we will do something fun!"
Jazz pointed his digit at her,
"I will hold you to that, lil M,"
Mazikeen laughed,
"I know you will,"
They slowly got to the hanger and saw Eddie waiting patiently at the plane. Mazikeen smiled and patted Jazz's shoulder,
"Here we are! Let's go!"
Jazz chuckled and slowly got her off his shoulder and then transformed into his alt-mode. Eddie walked up to them and wrapped his arm around Mazikeen's shoulder,
"I'm ready to meet the family!"
Mazikeen groaned,
"Oh my god, this is going to end horribly,"
Eddie gasped,
"Oh, I find your lack of faith...disturbing,"
Mazikeen groaned,
"I regret this already, Jazz abort!"
Jazz laughed as he rolled into the plane,
"Sorry, lil M but we are far too ahead to back down now,"
Mazikeen groaned,
"Fine fine,"
Eddie laughed, and they walked in. The two partners talked the entire time, Jazz kept quiet as he watched with his spark pulling at him every time he saw Mazikeen laugh at something Eddie told her. They finally got off the plane and Jazz pulled up beside them. Mazikeen got in the driver seat and Eddie got in at the passenger seat. Mazikeen grabbed the stearing wheel,
"Oh, this is weird,"
Eddie laughed,
"Why?"
Mazikeen winced,
"I'm so used to not driving,"
Jazz chuckled,
"Just don't crash,"
Eddie patted her shoulder,
"Come on, just don't get Jazz a speeding ticket and we will be fine,"
Mazikeen's eyes widened,
"Oh, I forgot that we can still get a ticket,"
"What the frag is a ticket?"
Mazikeen chuckled,
"A ticket is something that human cops give out if we break any driving rules, I told all of you about street rules,"
"You failed to mention tickets,"
Eddie shook his head,
"How could you, Maz, you forgot to mention a very important human rule to the poor bots,"
Mazikeen glared at him,
"Shut-up, or I'll kick you out,"
Eddie immediately put his hands up in surrender,
"Okay, I just simply want to meet your brother and his girlfriend, leave me alone,"
Mazikeen laughed,
"Not my parents?"
Eddie shook his head,
"Nope! Maybe your dad but I don't want to get killed,"
Mazikeen laughed,
"You think my dad would kill you?"
Eddie shrugged,
"Did you mention us dating?"
Jazz felt his spark drop in his spark chambers at the word. Mazikeen shook her head,
"Hell no, I don't talk to them, only Sammy and Mikaela,"
Eddie nodded,
"Okay,"
They finally pulled up to a familiar house and as soon as Mazikeen parked, Sam was running out of the house with Rover on his shoulder,
"MAZE!!!!"
Mazikeen laughed and she got out of Jazz's alt-form and hugged her baby brother as soon as he jumped into her arms,
"SAMMY!"
"ROVER!"
Mazikeen laughed as she patted Rover's head,
"Oh, I missed you two,"
She heard an engine rev and saw Bumblebee's alt-form,
"BEE!"
She ran to him and jumped onto his hood as her form of hugging him,
"Oh, it's so nice to see you again! Sammy has been treating you nice, right?"
"Oh it feels good!"
Mazikeen giggled and patted his hood,
"Oh! I need you to meet someone! Get out of the garage!"
The Bumblebee obliged and parked right behind Jazz after beeping his hello. Sam crossed his arms,
"So, where is this Eddie fellow?"
Mazikeen chuckled and Eddie stepped out of Jazz's alt-form,
"Hey,"
Sam's eyes widened,
"Oh shit,"
Eddie and Mazikeen laughed at his reaction. Sam immediately puffed out his chest and poked Eddie's shoulder,
"You may be part of the army, but I will fuck you up if you hurt my sister,"
Rover poked his chest,
"Yeah! I can punch you! And it will hurt because I am made out of metal!"
Mazikeen blushed and glared at the two,
"Settle down, boys,"
Eddie laughed and smiled at the two,
"I will never hurt Maz. She is very important to me, if I hurt her, it will be like I stabbed myself, and trust me. I would rather get shot than watch anything happen to Maz,"
Sam crossed his arms,
"God damn it. Maze I can't threaten him!"
Mazikeen laughed and ruffled his hair,
"Sammy, as much as I love you, there is no way any soldier would ever be afraid of you...you too, Rove,"
Both pouted, and Mazikeen laughed. Eddie smiled,
"It is very nice to meet you both, Maz has never shut up about either of you the past five years,"
Rover saluted at him,
"Nice to meet you too,"
Mazikeen smiled at the three,
"Come on, I want to see Mikaela!"
Sam laughed,
"Okay, I told her we will pick her up and we will go to the forest, so Bee and Jazz can transform and be comfortable,"
Mazikeen smiled brightly at him and wrapped an arm around her brother's shoulder,
"Awwww, he has a heart,"
The three laughed and Sam pulled Eddie with him,
"You are riding with me, I want to talk to you,"
Eddie immediately looked at Mazikeen and she smirked and waved at the two,
"Have fun!"
She watched Eddie and Sam get in Bumblebee and Rover was quick to hop in as well. Mazikeen got into Jazz's passenger seat and patted the dashboard,
"I think that went well,"
Jazz laughed,
"Really? Sam just made Eddie ride with him,"
Mazikeen shrugged,
"Sucks for Eddie...But Sam can't do anything to him, Eddie is my best friend, so nothing bad will happen,"
Jazz felt his spark beat faster,
"Um. Does that mean dating someone equals being someone's best friend?"
Mazikeen burst into a fit of laughter,
"Hey! Don't laugh lil M,"
Mazikeen shook her head and put her hand on his drivers seat,
"Jazz, Eddie and I are not dating! Sure, we did for a bit when we were working together before he left the army...but we haven't talked about dating again at all...and I don't think we will,"
"So...he is here because?"
Mazikeen chuckled and smiled,
"Because Mikaela wanted to meet the only person I have ever dated...and Sam did too. Plus! I'm going to LA after anyways so we decided to say fuck it and come."
"I guess that makes sense,"
Mazikeen shrugged and poked the seat,
"You have never dated on Cybertron?"
"No...I never found the right Femme,"
Mazikeen shrugged and smiled softly at him,
"I think you will soon, Jazz...I mean your spark is pulling at you, which might mean that you will find the right femme soon,"
"Hopefully,"
Mazikeen smiled brightly,
"I have faith...you are an amazing mech...and any femme would be lucky to have you,"
Jazz's spark pulled at him again and Mazikeen felt her seat get warmer again. She smiled and patted his dashboard,
"Not to worry, I will make sure that she knows to not mess with us,"
Jazz laughed,
"Because you are soooo intimidating,"
Mazikeen smirked,
"Awe, so kind of you to agree,"
Jazz chuckled,
"Sure,"
She saw Bee pull up at Mikaela's store but was quick to start again after she saw Mikaela run in. Mazikeen shrugged,
"I guess we aren't stopping,"
"I guess not, but how are you feeling about this Eddie?"
Mazikeen chuckled and smiled at him,
"Yeah, I guess we never got much time to talk about it...sorry about that...but Eddie is such a great person, kind, funny, and loyal...everything I looked for in someone, but it's done and we are both content on how it ended...and I am at peace with it, sure...I wish it never ended sometimes, but what is done is done, no use moping about it,"
"Yeah...I guess so,"
Mazikeen nodded,
"Don't worry though, you will find someone right for you, and I'll make sure you don't let her go,"
Jazz sighed and tightened his seatbelt around her in a hug,
"Don't worry, lil M...when I find her I don't plan on letting her go,"
Mazikeen smiled and nodded,
"Good,"
Mazikeen relaxed and they finally pulled up in the woods, surrounded by trees. Mazikeen immediately got out and was tackled by Mikaela,
"Maze!!!!"
Mazikeen laughed as she graciously hugged the younger girl on the floor,
"Mikaela! Hi!"
Mikaela blushed and helped her up,
"Sorry about that, Sam wanted to immediately keep going. Eddie is very nice and I accept him,"
Mazikeen chuckled and patted her shoulder,
"I'm glad you like him,"
Mikaela leaned against Jazz,
"So, are you two getting back together?"
Mazikeen chuckled and rolled her eyes,
"I swear, between you and the three kids back at the base...I don't think we will,"
Mikaela sighed and patted Jazz's hood,
"Sorry Jazz, you won't be a godfather just yet,"
Jazz's engine sputtered,
"A what now?"
Mazikeen immediately blushed and shoved Mikaela,
"Mik!"
Mikaela laughed,
"Listen! AM I WRONG?! Wouldn't Jazz be the fucking best godfather? He would be like, 'You have taken the wrong child,' All ominous like...or wait that would be Prime, wouldn't it,"
Mazikeen groaned and Jazz felt his spark tug again,
"What?"
Mikaela smirked,
"Yep! Best godfather ever!"
Mazikeen sighed,
"Wouldn't you want to be the godmother or some shit though?"
Mikaela shook her head,
"Nope! I called dibs on being the cool aunt that takes your child where they shouldn't be,"
Mazikeen stared at her,
"And why would you tell me this?"
Mikaela smiled brightly and shrugged,
"Why not?"
"Why are you two talking about a child?"
The two girls looked at the him and he finally transformed and sat in front of them,
"I am lost,"
Mazikeen smiled at him and patted his leg,
"She is dreaming of an impossible future,"
Mikaela crossed her arms,
"Hey! It might not be impossible,"
Mazikeen chuckled and put a hand on her shoulder,
"Sorry, Mik...but having a kid to me is impossible,"
Jazz tilted his head,
"Why is having a sparkling...uh...a child impossible?"
Mazikeen sighed and sat down by his foot and Mikaela was quick to sit down next to her,
"Well...I am not really equipped to be a mother...I don't know jack shit about kids, and I don't want any kid being raised in the army, which I know for a fact that I won't be letting go any time soon, especially because of you guys,"
Jazz frowned and Mikaela sighed,
"Okay...but in the far future?"
Mazikeen laughed and nudged her,
"You just want to be called the cool aunt,"
Mikaela smirked,
"Possibly...I mean, if Sam and I decide...you would definitely make a cool aunt,"
Mazikeen smiled and hugged her side,
"I appreciate it,"
Jazz tilted his head again,
"Would I be the godfather of your child?"
Mikaela chuckled,
"A godfather is someone that will take over if anything were to happen to the child's parents,"
Jazz frowned,
"So...if the carriers of the sparkling were offlined, the godfather would raise the sparkling?"
Mazikeen nodded,
"Yep! I'm the godmother for Annabel, don't ask me how that happened though,"
Jazz nodded,
"Okay, that does make sense...why would you want me to be the godfather of your child?"
Mazikeen smiled up at him,
"You are my guardian, Jazz...Only fitting if you watch over my kid, just like Bee would watch over Sammy's kid,"
They heard a beep and looked over to see Bumblebee proudly puffing out his chest in a superhero pose. Mazikeen laughed and hugged his leg,
"You are a fantastic guardian,"
Sam laughed and smiled at her,
"Bee is the best of the best, no offense Jazz,"
Jazz laughed and raised his hands in surrender,
"Hey, none taken, Sam,"
Eddie nudged Mazikeen,
"What, you got the baby talk again?"
Mazikeen groaned,
"Yeah, can I adopt Christopher so we can call it a day,"
Eddie laughed and nudged her,
"Come on, you never take the easy path,"
Mazikeen sighed,
"But, I'm sure he would love Sam and Mik,"
Eddie chuckled and nodded,
"I'm sure he would, but he has the 118 as his family too, and I think you would have to fight some of them to get Christopher,"
Mazikeen sighed and shrugged,
"Bet, I will,"
Eddie shook his head in amusement. Mikaela ran up to Eddie,
"You have a son?!"
Eddie laughed and took out his wallet,
"Yep! His name is Christopher,"
He showed the three adults the picture from his wallet. Mikaela's eyes brightened,
"Maze, steal this child,"
Mazikeen laughed and poked her,
"I can't commit a crime, sorry,"
Sam chuckled,
"You are always fine with punching people in authority,"
Mazikeen shrugged,
"That doesn't count,"
They all laughed, and Bumblebee dragged Jazz to the side,
"What's up, Bee?"
Bumblebee smirked proudly and pointed to Mazikeen subtly,
"Can you feel the love tonight!"
Jazz immediately felt his cheeks heat up and the airconditioner turn on at the song Bumblebee played and he shoved his friend,
"What? No! That would never happen, she's my charge,"
Bumblebee crossed his arms,
"So, baby, pull me closer. In the back seat of your Rover"
Jazz narrowed his optics,
"Bee!"
Bumblebee smiled at him and patted his arm,
"Time to be brave,"
Jazz sighed and crossed his arms,
"Never going to happen...I don't care about her in that way, she is my friend and I am her guardian,"
Bumblee rolled his optics and nudged him,
"Love the way you smile,"
Jazz sighed and shook his head,
"Nope, never going to happen, Bee,"
Bumblebee nudged him again,
"Come on,"
Jazz shook his head,
"Nope...she is a human, I am a Cybertronian, it is impossible,"
Bumblebee shrugged,
"Defy the odds,"
Jazz sighed and glanced at the group,
"She deserves someone that will be able to help her no matter the place...I can't even go with her to that Los Angeles place...but Eddie can,"
Bumblebee nudged him again,
"Let's rewrite the stars,"
Jazz laughed and smirked at him,
"I don't think that's how it works, buddy...but I will never let her down,"
Bumblebee nodded,
"Good,"
The two Autobots quieted down as they watched the four have fun and catch up. Then it was time to leave. Sam sighed,
"You sure you don't want any food?"
Mazikeen laughed and nodded,
"Yes, we have a plane to catch. Don't worry, Sammy,"
Eddie nodded and wrapped his arm around her shoulder,
"Maz will be well taken care of at my house,"
Sam sighed and shook his hand,
"Just remember to call,"
Rover nodded and poked Eddie,
"Yeah, and make sure she takes care of herself,"
Mazikeen groaned,
"Okay! BYE!"
They laughed and Mazikeen and Eddie got into Jazz's alt-mode,
"Off we go!"
Eddie chuckled,
"To the airport,"
