The three Mazikeen, Epps, and Will turned to see a young soldier running towards them.
Mazikeen smiled softly,
"Eddie!"
Eddie immediately pulled her into a hug, and the two laughed,
"I thought that it was truly the last time I would see you,"
Mazikeen smirked and nudged him,
"You never could stay away, huh,"
Eddie laughed and shook his head,
"I guess not,"
He looked at the two others looking at them,
"Hey, Lennox, Epps,"
Will smiled and held out his hand,
"It's nice to see you alive, Diaz,"
Eddie smiled and shook his hand,
"Happy to be alive, sir,"
Epps smirked,
"Hey, just you wait. Your life is about to get hella more interesting,"
Eddie chuckled and nodded,
"I can see that, living robots. It reminds me about someone's inventions,"
Mazikeen groaned and shoved Eddie,
"Shut the fuck up! That's what Epps said after we almost got killed in Qatar by a Decepticon,"
Eddie's eyes widened,
"I'm sorry you almost WHAT?"
Mazikeen winced,
"Oh...I forgot that wasn't common knowledge,"
Will and Epps patted her shoulder,
"Hate to break it to you, Mynx, but most of these people don't know,"
Mazikeen sighed and nodded,
"Yeah,"
Eddie shook his head and glanced over at her,
"Are you okay?"
Mazikeen nodded,
"Yeah, Ratch has taken great care of my recklessness,"
Eddie glanced at her and gave her a look,
"Maz, no one can handle your recklessness,"
"Ow! That is so not true,"
Will shook his head,
"You still amaze me that you are breathing,"
"And not because of a ventilator,"
Mazikeen crossed her arms and pouted,
"That hurts,"
Eddie laughed,
"Wait, who is this Ratch?"
Mazikeen's eyes brightened,
"Oh my god! You have to meet everyone! All of the Autobots right now!"
Eddie looked at Will and Epps,
"I don't have a choice, do I?"
Will and Epps laughed. Will put a hand on his shoulder,
"Eddie, when do you ever have a choice when Mynx's eyes light up like that?"
Eddie sighed and nodded,
"If you never hear from me again...Maz got me killed,"
Epps smirked,
"Oh, buddy, we had that down for a long time,"
The two laughed as they left Mazikeen and Eddie. Mazikeen immediately grabbed Eddie's hand and pulled him to the Autobots,
"Ratchet!"
Ratchet looked down and saw Mazikeen cheerfully dragging someone over to him,
"Hello, Maze, how is the sand?"
Mazikeen immediately scowled at him,
"Listen I was going to be nice and introduce you to someone, but I guess I won't,"
Eddie laughed and put a hand on her shoulder and she immediately stopped scowling. Ratchet chuckled,
"I take some of it back. Who is this?"
Mazikeen smiled brightly at him and pulled Eddie closer to her,
"This is Eddie Diaz, we served a tour together three years ago. We met after I was put in my squad,"
Ratchet nodded,
"It is nice to meet you, Eddie, I am Ratchet, the medic of the Autobots,"
Eddie smirked and looked at Mazikeen,
"Now I know why you are close to him. You see him all the time because you are always getting yourself hurt,"
Mazikeen blushed and gasped,
"What?! Me?? Hurt? Never,"
Ratchet narrowed his optics at her,
"Tell that to your stab wound you keep opening up,"
Mazikeen winced,
"Oh, why did you mention the stab wound?"
Eddie immediately turned Mazikeen to face him, and he examined her closer,
"Where the fuck is the stab wound? How old is it? How did you get it? Why the fuck do you keep opening it?!"
Mazikeen groaned and put her hand over his lips,
"Eddie, it's fiiiine. I may have gotten stabbed by a scorpion Decepticon, BUT! That's a story for later on. It's pretty old, like two weeks I think. Like we all know, I'm reckless so I keep opening it up!"
Eddie sighed and Mazikeen let her hand fall to her side and he looked at her,
"Yeah, no, you are officially under the Diaz protection service now,"
Mazikeen groaned and looked at Ratchet,
"You think Jazz is bad? Eddie here won't let me out of his sight for one minute while he's on his lil protection spree,"
Eddie crossed his arms,
"Jazz?"
Mazikeen's eyes brightened again,
"Oh yeah! We have more to meet!"
Ratchet chuckled softly as he watched her drag him away. Mazikeen stopped at her brothers' feet,
"Eddie Diaz, meet Sideswipe and Sunstreaker! They like to say that they are my brothers,"
Eddie's jaw dropped at the end of her sentence, and the two immediately smirked,
"Hello, Eddie,"
Sideswipe waved his hand at him,
"We were very close to shooting that guy, but thank you for stepping in for our sister,"
Mazikeen rolled her eyes,
"Come on, I can handle myself,"
Eddie immediately put a hand on her shoulder and smiled at her,
"But you don't have to do everything yourself,"
Mazikeen sighed and nodded,
"Yes yes, I feel like everyone tells me that,"
Eddie laughed and nudged her,
"That is because you are very stubborn,"
Mazikeen shrugged. Sideswipe smirked,
"I like him,"
Sunstreaker crossed his arms,
"He's tolerable,"
Mazikeen face palmed, and Eddie smiled at them in pride,
"You guys have to get along with these soldiers,"
Eddie glanced at Mazikeen,
"Just give them to my group,"
Mazikeen stared at him in exasperation,
"You are trying to kill me,"
The three laughed as she glared at them,
"Come on,"
She dragged him off as he waved at the twins. Ironhide immediately noticed Mazikeen dragging Eddie and smirked,
"Hey, Maze!"
Mazikeen looked at Ironhide,
"Sup!"
Ironhide looked at the guy next to her, and he immediately transformed his hands into his canons,
"You feeling lucky, punk?"
Eddie's eyes widened, and he gasped,
"Woah! Nice guns!"
He immediately turned to Mazikeen,
"Please tell me in your genius brain that you created a cool canon or gun!"
Mazikeen laughed with Ironhide. Mazikeen winked at Eddie,
"Of course I did! That's literally the first time I met Ironhide too, I showed him my big gun after he showed me his!"
Eddie laughed,
"Of course, but I want to see them too,"
Mazikeen smiled and nodded,
"You will,"
"Maze, who is this?"
Mazikeen smiled and pointed at Eddie,
"This is Eddie Diaz, we served a tour together two-ish years ago,"
Eddie smiled and nodded at Ironhide,
"It's nice to meet you,"
Ironhide smiled at him,
"You too, Eddie. Who else do you have to meet? I am assuming Maze is introducing you to everyone,"
Eddie shrugged and looked at Mazikeen,
"Optimus and Jazz,"
Ironhide smirked,
"Optimus is closer, go to him first,"
Mazikeen shrugged and waved at Ironhide before dragging Eddie to Optimus, who was quietly observing everyone. Eddie gasped as he saw how much bigger Optimus was than the rest. Mazikeen smiled proudly at the Prime as he slowly knelt down to their height,
"Hello, Mazikeen. Who is this?"
Mazikeen smiled brightly at him,
"Hi, Optimus! This is Eddie Diaz. We met a while ago in the army and served a tour together. I wanted to introduce him to everyone,"
Eddie waved at him, and Optimus nodded his head,
"Hello, Eddie. Thank you for your actions earlier against the human who was offending Mazikeen. We can not interfere with Humans as it is against our personal laws. I look forward to working with you in the future,"
Eddie smiled and nodded his head,
"It was my pleasure, sir. No one messes with Mazikeen while I'm around...well even if I am not, she can still handle herself because she has kicked my ass a lot of times, but yeah...I have her back,"
Optimus nodded,
"And we do as well,"
Eddie smiled and nodded his head at him. Mazikeen smiled and looked at Optimus,
"I'll stop by later to talk later. Gotta go find Jazz now!"
Optimus nodded and stood back up,
"Until then,"
Mazikeen started dragging Eddie again, and he just shook his head in amusement,
"Some things will never change,"
Mazikeen laughed and shrugged,
"I guess so, I'm still dragging your ass around,"
Eddie laughed. They stopped in front of the silver Autobot, who was pretending that he wasn't watching them the entire time. Mazikeen immediately smiled at him,
"Jazz!"
Jazz looked down and smiled at her,
"Hey, lil M! Nice punch!"
Mazikeen laughed and smiled at him,
"Thanks! I would like you to meet my old friend, Eddie Diaz. We served together for a bit a few years ago."
Jazz felt his spark freeze up at the name but shook it off as the young man in front of him waved,
"Hi, nice to meet you,"
Jazz nodded his head at him,
"Hello, Eddie,"
Mazikeen narrowed her eyes at him, immediately sensing the negative emotion, but Eddie grabbed her arm,
"Wait, how is Rover and Sam?"
Mazikeen's eyes immediately went away from Jazz and brightened up,
"Oh my sky! I saw them again! I forgot to tell you,"
Eddie's eyes widened,
"No way! That's awesome!"
He immediately hugged her, and she laughed as she hugged him back. Jazz frowned as he watched the two. Mazikeen smiled at Eddie,
"Yeah, Jazz and I went like two days ago before we moved over here. Oh! You would love Bumblebee! He is Sam's guardian-"
"Hold up,"
Mazikeen tilted her head at his shocked expression,
"You are telling me that you. Miss over-protective older sister. Let your brother get tied into the Autobots?!"
Mazikeen groaned and shook her head,
"When I tell you that my baby brother is an idiot, I am so serious."
Eddie laughed,
"What did he do?"
Mazikeen sighed and looked at Eddie,
"He fucking bought Bumblebee thinking he was a normal car,"
Eddie burst out laughing and Mazikeen sighed,
"I knew you were going to laugh,"
Eddie shook his head,
"I will say this again, your family is something else,"
Mazikeen smirked,
"It keeps everyone entertained,"
Jazz knelt down, making sure his presence was known,
"I'm going to go talk about some things with Prime. I'll see you later, lil M. Eddie,"
Mazikeen smiled at him,
"Okay! I'll look for you after dinner,"
Jazz smiled and nodded at her,
"See you then,"
He walked away, and Eddie glanced at him,
"I don't think he likes me,"
Mazikeen waved her hand in dismissal,
"Nonsense, Jazz is extremely nice! He likes mostly every human,"
Eddie glanced at her and shrugged,
"Okay,"
Mazikeen grabbed his hand,
"Come on! I want to show you my newest shit!"
Eddie immediately smiled,
"Oh my sky! That means your big guns!"
Mazikeen immediately nodded,
"HELL YEAH IT DOES!"
The two immediately ran out.
