(Universe 6)
Cabba the young Saiyan warrior who learned and trained with the older yet wiser Vegeta of Universe 7 said talking to Kale another Saiyan warrior of Universe 6 "Hey Kale...can I ask you something?" She looked over at Cabba and said that would be fine then she heard him say after a small pause "Would you mind training with Thorn at all? You know the Saiyan that fought you and Caulifla when you two fused?" Kale sighed and said while staring at the sky "I don't mind it but...what could he teach me that you or Caulifla can't teach?" Cabba then said to her while laying on the ground staring at the sky as well "Truthfully speaking? Thorn has some of the best control I've ever seen from a warrior. I remember watching him when I trained with Master Vegeta and Thorn was in such control over his energy that he looked like he was just relaxing." Kale noted this then she said to Cabba "Well if you think he can help then maybe we should go and visit him?" As if there was a cue for her the Angel of Universe 6 known as Vados appeared saying after a small chuckle "I guess you want to learn from a true warrior don't you Kale? Or do you have some other ideas?" This made Kale blush at those words however she simply said "N-n-no I just want to...to learn control is all!" Vados said comforting Kale "Oh don't worry sweetie I was simply joking with you. I can take you guys there and maybe while I'm there I'll go and check in on my brother." Vados along with Cabba and Kale then used her powers of transportation and made their way to Universe 7 all while Cabba was thinking (While Kale is going through her training I think I'll ask Master to train with me some more!)

After arriving at where Thorn was which was currently at a mountain range with a nearby lake the trio introduced themselves with Thorn spotting Cabba and saying "How's your image training coming along Cabba?" This made the young Saiyan smile and explain everything until he stopped himself saying "Actually...I'm not here for that. I need your help Thorn." This made the older warrior pause and listen as he heard Cabba say "Do you think you could help Kale control her energy and emotions like you do?" This made Thorn pause for a minute then he said to Cabba "I could...but you should know that my anger works for me in a multitude of ways." Thorn demonstrated this by explaining that anger is the source of turning into a super Saiyan which Kale knew this however what she didn't know was that anger needed a leash known as control which was why Thorn could overpower anyone before losing control and after losing control. He then said to her "Close your eyes and stand right there. I want you to listen to every word of what I say to you as well as focus on CONTROLLING your anger." She nodded then she did as Thorn asked only for a lengthy pause as Thorn thought to himself (I should probably power up just in case she goes berserk.) Thorn went into his God form causing Kale to notice this by the fact she could sense his power level rise only to be told "Just a precaution...this gives me a chance to knock you out before you go on a rampage." Kale nodded albeit slightly then the two warriors clashed exchanging punches and kicks until Kale landed a hit on Thorn's cheek with one of her punches which made her pause and say "Interesting....you're significantly stronger than me in that form and yet I hit you. Why or how is that possible?" Thorn smirked and said crossing his arms "That's simple...you're relaxed and only thinking that this is training. Now I'm going to get serious and this time..this just might hurt." Thorn then started to power up to his SSGSS3 form and Vados along with Cabba and Kale were feeling the planet shake and the atmosphere changed from its calm nature to a near heavy and powerful presence however what the three Universe 6 members saw was this:
After settling his power down to a normal level Thorn took a deep breath then said "This...is my full power Kale. This is Super Saiyan 3 however it's taking the power of Super Saiyan Blue to the extreme." Thorn demonstrated this by moving at such a rate of speed that by the time Kale realized Thorn was behind her he had already slid behind her again as she turned around facing where he just was! Thorn staring at the back of Kale's head said to her "Your job here is to land a hit on me again...power up if you need to but control yourself. Do not allow yourself to lose control." She nodded at this and knowing she did land a hit on him gave her confidence until Thorn used his speed to ruin that confidence. Kale powered up to her Super Saiyan form which to Thorn looked like this:
Thorn smirked and said to her in a firm yet gentle tone "Good! But don't celebrate yet! You still need to land a punch on me!" Kale smiled at this and said just before charging towards Thorn "I won't hold back this time! Get ready Thorn!" The two Saiyans this clashed however Kale was doing majority of the work as Thorn was more or less using his speed to either dodge or block Kale's attacks until finally Thorn was forced to grab her hands to stop her from attacking then channeling his inner Vegeta said to her "I hope this isn't your best..if it is no wonder you and Caulifla got knocked out so easily when you two were fused." Kale was stunned as to why he was talking like this and for Cabba he knew what was going on and he smiled thinking to himself (Looks like Thorn is borrowing a page from Vegeta by talking like that to her.) Thorn then said while tossing Kale aside "Show me that power you have hidden away and stop wasting time! You came here for training on getting stronger by control but all I'm seeing is you lacking effort to get stronger! You can't live in Caulifla or Cabba's shadow forever you know!" Kale shouted as she threw a ki blast at Thorn in anger "SHUT UP! You don't know anything about me!" Thorn used his speed once more, then he held Kale in full nelson saying in a whisper tone in her ear "Oh but I do...I know your power is immense but you become a mindless brute and to top things off....you and your sister Caulifla got your asses handed to you by an exhausted Goku and me who was so low on power that they somehow overpowered you in that Kefla fusion of yours." Then he said to her using a low growl of his voice "Anything else I could be missing Kale or am I right on what was said by yours truly?" She went to surrender and this didn't go unnoticed by Thorn who switched to a chokehold then he said to her "If you surrender her I'll go find Caulifla and I'll let her know just before I kill her that she was better off fighting without someone who starts to cry whenever they get challenged. You should know one thing before you get upset with me...my son has fought me like this and he lasted longer than you did and he can barely turn into a Super Saiyan so what does that say about you?" Kale felt her anger boiling over and Thorn knew that one more push could send her over the deep end or this could send her power skyrocketing to a new transformation and with the same or better control. He then said to her with a smile much like Goku Black had when he told Goku about how he killed Chi-Chi "What's wrong? Did I hurt your little feelings? You gonna cry about it or are you gonna fight back?!" Kale then swung her head back smacking Thorn on the bridge of his nose then she threw him over her body towards the ground and all Thorn saw was Kale powering up much like how Goku did when he went SSJ3 against Janemba:
Thorn smiling at this said softly "Good...show that power you have Kale. I wanna see what you can really do with it." She continued to power up pushing her body and power past their limits until finally in a bright yellow green flash of light Kale was hovering in the air and from Thorn's perspective what he saw was this:
He looked at Kale who was currently a Super Saiyan 3 with her own version of it and this made her stare down Thorn as if she wanted to kill him however she stopped when Thorn powered down to his base form saying to her "Congratulations Kale...you're officially a Super Saiyan 3 now!" She looked at herself until Vados appeared holding a mirror saying to Thorn as she did "Good work by the way, looks like someone is a phenomenal teacher!" Thorn blushed at this causing Vados to say playful tone "Shame you're married...I'd love to see that expression on your face in more....intimate surroundings." Thorn didn't speak as he simply crossed his arms looking away from the angel until Kale finally said "Amazing! How did you know what you did would work?" Thorn then said to her while facing her "I'll be honest...I didn't think it would work. You are powerful Kale of that we can't dispute but your rage takes over and you just turn into a brute so doing that to you had risks but when never snapped even when you had numerous opportunities I knew you were in the right direction but those pushes could've easily backfired so in short...I took a gamble and it paid off." Kale approached Thorn sill in her SSJ3 form then she gave him a hug saying "Thank you for that...you really are a great warrior and even better teacher." Thorn smirked and said to Kale hugging her back "Anytime..I'll train you whenever you want." Kale backed away from Thorn and said that she wanted to keep training for the day and Thorn simply told her "Bring it on Kale! Let's see how well you can manage that form!" The two Saiyans clashed throwing kicks and punches all while Cabba simply watched thinking to himself (Amazing! It's like Kale almost needed to fight Thorn just to find this power.) Thorn being fairly stronger than Kale proved his strength wasn't just for show and finally overpowered Kale but it wasn't without cost as Kale was able to land a kick of her own sending Thorn flying backwards a little bit or rather it would've been just that if Thorn didn't feel the familiar feeling of blood running down his body from combat. He felt where the blood was and noted that Kale's boot was able to leave a small cut on Thorn's forearm when he blocked the attack. This made him say mentally (Well how about that? She still landed a strike to me. I'm proud to be her teacher if that's the case.) Thorn landed near Kale saying as he powered down to SSJ2 "Not bad Kale...you've managed to land attacks on me a few times and you've managed to pass Cabba in terms of power however!" She looked at him carefully only to hear "Don't slack off on your training now! It won't be long before Caulifla realizes you two are training with us and if you two aren't careful she'll pass both of you. With that said....nice work today, you've earned my respect and you've earned the right to train with me." Kale powered down to her base form and said to Thorn while bowing in respect to him "Thank you for this training Thorn, maybe one day I'll have that power you do!" The Saiyans as well as Vados shared a laugh then Vados said after a few moments "Alright you two...time to head home for today, thank you for being hospitable Thorn and tell your wife to come next time I want to meet the woman who snatched you up!" Thorn blushed again and said "Get out of here already!" Vados laughed again and she along with Kale and Cabba disappeared leaving Thorn to say to himself "Damn angel....why does she have to be so flirty?"
