"Rubi, you have no idea how much you mean to me. The moment i saw you i knew if it were to be someone it was you for me or else no one. I love you dear."
"Oh, Jeorge! I love you too."
They were about to kiss when Reyhna switches off the TV.
"Gosh! How cliche can a movie be? I mean how can one fall for someone this instant? And that too on first sight? That's just absolute nonsense! I don't believe it can happen irl!"
"Woahh! Look at this anti-romantic person sitting right next to a total delulu like me. You just made me suspect our compatibility. I wonder how are you able to give me realtionship advices when you don't even believe in fate!?" Anika says surprisingly.
"Its not like i don't believe in fate. Its just that its very rare for someone to meet like this-" Before she could complete her sentence there's a notification pop-up on Anika's phone.
"Wait, a second." Anika excuses and grabs her phone from the table.
[From: Kunal❤️]
Let's get married.
Oberoi Residence
As Shivaay sat down at the dining table with his father, enjoying a quiet meal together, his phone rang with an unknown number flashing on the screen.
Curious, he picked up the call only to hear a familiar voice on the other end.
His sister, Bhavya, was on the line, speaking urgently and in a hushed tone.
"Shivaay, listen to me carefully," Bhavya whispered.
Excusing himself from the table, Shivaay went straight upstairs to his room and locked the door behind him. His mind was racing with questions and suspicions. What was really going on here?
Shakti has never been the one to give a damn about what's going on in his life unless it concerns him.
"I've couriered you something. It's an admission form for you along with the necessary documents. Make sure you fill it out and submit it as soon as possible. But make sure dad doesn't find about it. Alright?"
Suddenly, there was a loud knock on his door.
With a sense of urgency, he immediately ends the phone call with Bhavya.
As he opens up the door, Samarth strode in with a dramatic flourish, his presence commanding attention.
Samarth Singh, son of country's richest merchant. Although being financially very strong, his father strongly believes in his roots so he wants him to be independent and earn his own name in this world rather than being called 'his son'.
Shivaay took a deep sigh, a sight of relief appears on his face as he welcomed him inside.
Samarth was taken aback by this unexpected warmth in Shivaay's demeanor. Known for his stoicism and reserved nature, Shivaay's sudden softness was a surprise.
At which Samarth couldn't help but tease him, suggesting that perhaps he had finally found the love of his life, the one who had turned his heart to mush.
Shivaay smirked at the playful jibe, his eyes sparkling with amusement. He tries assuring Samarth that there could never be any love interest in his life, but Samarth continues to push, teasing him further and urging him to introduce her soon.
The banter between the two friends was filled with laughter and camaraderie, when Shivaay suddenly asks the reason for his sudden arrival at this hour.
Rudra's House
Bhavya returned home after a long day of running errands for her brother.
Exhausted and relieved that she had successfully completed her task, she dropped her bag at the sofa.
Rudra handed her a glass of water and she took a sip, feeling the cool water soothing her parched throat. Their eyes met and in that moment, they shared a silent understanding of their love for each other.
Bhavya felt a rush of gratitude for having such a caring and supportive partner by her side.
Just as she leaned in to plant a soft kiss on his cheek, a loud crash came from the kitchen, interrupting their tender moment.
Without a second thought, they rushed towards the kitchen to find the source of the noise. As they entered the room, they saw that a vase had fallen from the shelf and shattered on the floor.
Rudra rushed to inspect the damage while Bhavya stood frozen, her heart pounding with fear. As the reality of the situation sank in, they both exchange a look.

11:01 pm
Samarth barged into Shivaay's room with all the drama.
"Hey Shivaay, can I stay at your place for a few days?" Samarth blurted out.
"Uh, sure... but why? What happened?" Shivaay asked, utterly confused by his abrupt appearance.
Samarth then proceeded to tell him about how he had gotten into a huge fight with his dad over something trivial, and in a fit of anger, had decided to run away from home.
"Wait, you ran away from home because your dad wouldn't let you go to that party? Seriously, dude? Shivaay exclaimed, struggling to contain his amusement.
Samarth sheepishly admitted that maybe he had overreacted a bit, but he still didn't want to go back home just yet
"Then what next?" Shivaay asks as they both settled themselves on the side of bed.
"I have news, my friend!" he exclaimed, unable to contain his excitement.
Shivaay raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Oh? Pray tell, what is this exciting news of yours?"
Samarth took a deep breath and said, "I have found the love of my life!" he announced dramatically, his eyes shining with happiness.
Shivaay couldn't help but laugh at his friend's antics. "Well, well, well, look at you, Mr. Delusional! Who is that girl that's unfortunately stuck with you?"
Samarth blushed slightly at Shivaay pulling his leg.
Shivaay smirked mischievously. "I hope she's ready for this crazy man!"
Samarth chuckled, shaking his head at his friend's teasing. "Oh, but there's one problem. I just didn't get the moment to ask her name.. and yes her phone number or any other contact."
And with that, Shivaay couldn't hold his laugh and laid on the bed chuckling.
"For real this guy is dumb." He murmured.
"Did you said something?"
Reyhna's POV
Anika was giddy with excitement as she rushed towards her home. And why not, she had just received a marriage proposal from the man of her dreams and couldn't wait to share this news with her dad.
I tried to stop her, warning her that it was very late at night and we should wait until morning to share the news. But she was too caught up in her happiness to listen.
The night air was cool and crisp, sending shivers down my spine as i quickened my pace to follow her steps. The moon cast a soft glow over the city, casting shadows that danced in the night as if the whole night was celebrating today.
All my efforts to stop her from leaving right now went in vain when she started the engine and waved at me as if trying to assure me her safety.
I waved back at her and she drove off.
It was about an hour since she left. I was laying in my bed, my thoughts consumed by worry.
I couldn't shake the feeling that Anika was blindly in love with Kunal, a man who seemed to care very little for her emotions. I had observed their relationship for some time now, and it pained me to see how one-sided it was.
Anika would do anything for Kunal, bending over backwards to please him and make him happy. And yet, despite her efforts, he seemed disinterested and indifferent.
I couldn't understand how someone could be so blind to the lack of reciprocation in their relationship. I wondered whether Kunal even deserved someone as devoted and caring as Anika.
As i pondered these thoughts, i couldn't help but feel a sense of frustration and sadness. I wished i could shake some sense into Anika, make her see that she deserved so much more than what Kunal was giving her. But i knew that matters of the heart were not always easy to confront or change.
In my contemplation, I couldn't help but wonder about the nature of love and relationships. I questioned myself why some people were willing to settle for less than they deserved, why they would hold onto something that only brought them pain and heartache.
With a heavy heart, I realized that sometimes, the most difficult thing to do was to let go of someone you loved, even if they didn't appreciate or reciprocate your feelings.
And in that moment, I made a vow to always be there for Anika, to support her and help her see her worth, even if it meant facing the harsh reality of her unrequited love. For in the end, true friendship meant being there through the highs and lows, no matter how difficult or heartbreaking they may be.
The conversation on Anika's phone:
Kunal:
I love you. Let's get married.
