after a long mission, you decided to go out with nobara, and yuji. you guys decided to go to a shopping but yuji had different plans,
"do you guys wanna go to the movies? i'm gonna watch human earthworm 4!"
"you're on your own." nobara deadpanned, "i haven't even watched 1, 2 or 3!"
"i'm sorry, yuji, i can't bare to watch any human earthworm movies again," you shuddered, thinking back to the others you watched,
"oh please!!! i think you'd be fine jumping in at number four!" he then started reciting the entire plot from movie 1-3 in less than a minute,
"it's actually a love story!!" he exclaimed dramatically, making nobara stare at him blankly,
"yeah.. i don't wanna see some worm-o man do anything,"
"... he's a human earthworm," yuji added quite obviously,
"whatever, it doesn't matter, y/n and i are going shopping, wanna come?"
"i just spent five minutes telling you i'm gonna go to the movies!" yuji yelled,
"okay," nobara replied nonchalantly, "later then," she dragged you by your hand.
you looked at yuji apologetically and waved goodbye to him as he looked down to the ground. you felt kind bad, honestly. he seemed really excited,
"i can't believe you really watched all of that," nobara said as we walked off from yuji,
"it's not like i had a choice.. it wasn't that horrible though. i feel kind of bad for the poor guy," you sigh, referring to yuji,
"of course you do! you have a big crush on him!"
"no i don't!!" you denied,
"yes!" she retorted,
"no!"
"yes!"
"no!"
"yes!-"
a tall woman with short brown hair then tapped on nobara's shoulder,
"um, excuse me!" she exclaimed,
"mm?" nobara hummed in response,
"you guys were with itadori earlier, were you?"
you and nobara looked at eachother in shock,
"come again?" she asked,
"well, it's a bit to explain, would you guys like- um- wanna come with me to the cafe right there so we can sit down?" the girl asked, pointing to the cafe.
we walked in as the tall girl introduced herself and explained what she looked like in middle school,
"huh, seriously? that was six months ago!" nobara exclaimed. you looked at the phone with your eyes widening,
"wow, ozawa, you had a massive glow up! any tips?" you asked,
"thanks.. i guess i've grown about 15 centimetres since graduation day.." ozawa smiled sheepishly, "plus the stress of moving to tokyo.."
"woah..." nobara gasped. she then zoomed out to see itadori, "that's itadori?"
ozawa looked away,
"that was graduation day when i worked up the courage to ask for a photo with him... i actually wanted to ask for his phone number, but i already knew that we were moving to tokyo," she sighed, "when i saw him with you guys i thought that with the way i looked now, he might.."
"wait, you mean.." you said lowly,
"it's like that?!?" nobara finished,
"yes, that's what i mean.. it's like that" ozawa confirmed. you felt something inside you bubble up yet you didn't know what it was. it made you feel like ass. nobara then starting calling someone,
"what's up, ijichi! is fushiguro still riding with you? i just dropped a location pin of where i'm at, could you please drop him here?" she asked. you still sat there looking around awkwardly. she finished up, "thanks! see you soon!"
she looked back at ozawa, "someone who knows itadori pretty well is on his way right now. i think we should talk to him first,"
"and you guys?.." ozawa asked hesitantly,
"hmm?" nobara replied,
"well, if either of you guys are interested in itadori then-"
"no." nobara cut her off immediately. you stayed quiet, still zoning out into the void. they both looked at you and you finally noticed,
"huh? oh, me neither," you replied a little hesitantly. nobara rose a brow at you but you waved it off. megumi then turned up,
"okay, what's the big emergency?" he asked, looking annoyed we got him to come to the cafe. we then explained everything to megumi,
"oh, so it's like that, huh?!?" megumi exclaimed. probably the most emotion you've heard from his voice in ages,
"yeah! totally like that!" you and nobara confirmed. he told us that itadori did not have a girlfriend and explained why. ozawa then asked if any of us happened to know what his type is. you perked up,
"oh! i remember yuji said something about liking tall girls!" nobara and ozawa clinked their drinks in shock, knowing that ozawa definitely fit into that category.
you wanted to be happy for her but at the same time you didn't wanna think that yuji might actually like her,
"you have a real shot, ozawa!" nobara exclaimed happily, "i'm texting him now, are you okay with that?"
"oh yeah!"
nobara then texted yuji to come to the cafe with no reasoning. it was pretty funny that all nobara had to say was "come." for yuji to show up. he got here really quick,
"what the- fushiguro is here too?" he asked,
"well that was fast.." nobara muttered. all of you guys then realised that yuji might now even recognise ozawa. after all she looked completely different! your face completely dropped,
"oh, wait a second, you're ozawa! what are you doing here?" he asked. you all sighed in relief knowing that yuji had somehow recognised her.
it was definitely a good thing he recognised her, but you soon realised that you were growing jealous for some reason,
"hey, itadori," she blushed. you all sat at the cafe with yuji sat next to ozawa. you were zoned out thinking for most of the time,
'why am i acting like this? someone is definitely going to notice i'm off!! i don't even like yuji like that..'
everyone was conversing with eachother and you didn't even know what to say?!? you hated how you felt. you decided to excuse yourself to the bathroom,
"sorry guys! i'm gonna go to the restroom real quick!"
"no problem," yuji smiled. nobara obviously knew something was wrong but you gave her a look telling her not to come so you don't seem suspicious. you just needed a bit of time to think.
you looked at yourself in the mirror and sighed,
"alright, let's go and let's be chill," you muttered to yourself. you walked back to the table,
"guess who's back," you grinned, shuffling back next to nobara.

soon after you came back, you all decided to leave since the cafe was closing and itadori's movie was starting soon.
yuji went to walk ozawa back to the train station while you, megumi and nobara walked to the movies to meet him there,
"you know, you could at least hide your jealously, y/n," megumi slightly teased,
"what?!?" you exclaimed, "i'm not jealous!"
"lies! you were sooo jealous!" nobara added, "you know how quiet you were at the table?"
"i didn't have anything to say!" you defended yourself,
"yeah, yeah, right.." she responded, "i guess i'm sorry, i was a bad friend and set someone up with my bestfriend's crush!"
"i don't accept your apology because it's not needed!" you sighed, "i don't have a crush on yuji!"
"sure.." megumi muttered. you hit him on the back,
"ow!"
"anyways, you know guys! i've come to a realisation about my feelings!" nobara smiled,
"oh? and what's that?" you asked,
"it's that the thought of itadori getting a girlfriend before i get a boyfriend seriously pisses me off!"
"oh really," megumi smirked a little,
"hey guys! sorry for the wait!" yuji grinned, coming between you and megumi. nobara insisted that yuji walks behind her and handed him all his bags as we walked to the movies. you on the other hand, decided to brush off whatever you were feeling and enjoy the rest of the night.

after the movie was finished, you guys got ijichi to drive you back to the school with yuji rambling on about how inspiring the movie was.
omce you got back to the school you all went back to your dorms to get some sleep yet yuji was following you for some reason. you got to the door with him still behind you,
"are you alright there..?" you questioned his behaviour,
"yeah, i just wanted to ask if you were okay. you were pretty quiet at the cafe y'know,"
your heart most literally dropped to your ass. there's no way yuji could have caught on, he's the most oblivious person on earth.. you decided to just deny, deny, deny,
"yeah, i'm fine? honestly, i was just a bit tired after the long mission we had,"
he looked you up and down, and rose a brow,
"i don't buy it.. y/n, were you- dare i say- jealous? of ozawa???" he smirked,
"wha-?! no! of course not,"
"awww, y/n you could have just said so!!"
"yuji, i was not jealous of ozawa! how could i be jealous?! she's so sweet!"
"i dunno, maybe my charms are just too much to handle," yuji started flexing,
"i'm not dealing with this, i need to get some sleep," you closed the door on him but he stopped it with his foot,
"ow!- y/n, you don't have to be jealous you know, you're gonna be stuck with me for a while!" he grinned,
"i don't know what you mean by that," you tilted your head,
"i guess that's something for you to find out.. just know that i'm not going anywhere unless i'm beside you. so no need to be jealous!"
you paused for a moment,
"yuji, that would have been really nice if i was jealous. but i'm not. goodnight!"
you closed the door once more and went off to bed whilst yuji just smiled and shook his head while he walked back into his dorm,
"how cute.." he muttered.
