“Ahh it's good to be back!” I can't help but shout
Other people that are there gave me some looks but we're scared away thanks to Carrera's and Esprit's glare
“Well then, let's look around the city first before going to Rimuru”
“Sure”
“Alright then!”
“Understood”

A few familiar encounter later and now here we are in Rimuru's secret house
There's currently only me and my demons, Rimuru, and Veldora in the house
There was Shion here a moment ago, but I managed to get her to leave by asking her new recipe to try
“So am I right in assuming that this is going to be important?” Rimuru asked
“Yes, this is going to be very very important that no one else should know, atleast for now I suppose”
“But Veldora's here, is it fine?”
“Yeah, you're great at keeping secrets right Veldora?”
“Kuaahahahah! Indeed, no secrets will get out of me no matter what!”
. . . ‘Although I'm sure you wouldn't even heard what we're talking about anyway since you're so engrossed in that manga’
“Fine, so what is it?”
“Before going to the main topic, can you please give these two a name aswell?” Esprit and Agera comes forward
Rimuru sighed before saying “I won't even going to ask why, sure go ahead”
I then introduced Esprit first “She's someone who's really similar and close to Carrera, you might as well call them friend. Am I right Carrera?”
“... sure, you can say that” She nodded with her arm crossed
“So you got a name for her?” I asked him
He thinks for a moment before saying “Esprit, I think it fits'
The naming process then happened normally since I didn't tweak anything
After it's done, Esprit kneeled and thanked him for the new name
. . . ‘Thank you Rimuru, I can finally call her name now without worrying accidentally naming her!’ I secretly thanked him before saying my actual thanks
“ain't that nice Esprit? Thanks Rimuru, you're best at naming afterall”
“Yea yea, next?” he looked towards Agera
“... It's safe to say that he's one of the most skilled swordsman in the world, he's also Carrera's mentor for some time now”
“You seem confident in that statement” He commented before thinking for a moment again then saying “Then how about Agera?
The naming process happened, Agera thanked Rimuru, same as Esprit
However I decided to add “little fun fact, he's actually Hakurou's grandfather”
Even though Rimuru is currently in his slime form, I can still see his surprised face behind it “... I beg your pardon?”
“Yeah, he was a human from another world that got transported here and long story short he was taken in by the ogres. Some time later, he died and reincarnated as a demon”
“... That's a lot”
I just nodded “Anyway since these two had been named, let's get to our main topic”
“So what is it?”
“I want you to evolve Carrera into a demon lord using the souls from Guy”
Needless to say, everyone is surprised, even Veldora is a bit intrigued (although he's still focused on reading his manga)
“... Can you repeat that?”
“please evolve Carrera into a Demon Lord using the souls” I smiled innocently
He thoughts for a moment before asking with worry “Isn't Demons don't want to serve someone who's weaker than them? There's a chance she will be much stronger than you”
“It's fine, even if she betrayed me I will find a way to get her back to me. And mark my word, Nothing will stop me when I am fully determined” I said with unusual seriousness
“... I understand”
He then turned into his human form and signalled Carrera to get closer
She looked at me asking for confirmation to which I nodded, and so she kneeled Infront of him
“I will now begin the evolution” Raphael's (somewhat "lifeless") tone of voice came out of Rimuru's mouth
We all just watches as Raphael did it's thing with anticipation and somewhat worries (from me and Rimuru)
A few moments later they're done and Carrera comes out way stronger again just like when she got named by him
And once again, she became the strongest person in the room, excluding Veldora
“Souls used for evolution 100,000 Remaining souls 900,000” Rimuru muttered with Raphael's tone of voice
After his little muttering, we could hear the Voice of The World announcement of Carrera's evolution and how those connected to her getting gifts

I can feel my heart getting colder and tense from anxiety of what's going to happen afterwards

The uneasy feeling gets worse for each passing seconds that I genuinely feel like my heart froze by the time the whole thing finished
Anyway, now that the whole thing is finished, I did a quick analysis of Carrera and confirmed that she have evolved into a Demon Lord and obtained [Lord of Destruction: Abaddon]
Needless to say, I'm a bit nervous of what's going to happen, but I asked regardless
“So, Carrera, we both know that you're clearly stronger than me now. Are you going to stay loyal, or betray me?”
. . . I'm not entirely sure why, but I couldn't see her expression right now
Is it because I want it to be more dramatic? Is it because I want to know the answer from her directly? Like I said, I'm not sure
What I'm sure of is if I hadn't upgraded my brain back then, I would've died just now
Why? Because Carrera tried to attack me with her newly obtained powers
[Abaddon] has scary subskills such as [Dimensional Rupture] that I'm sure could kill even the current me if I'm careless
But since I'm already aware and prepared incase she betrayed me, I was able to fully analyze and asses her attack and calculated a way to stop it
I didn't redirect it back at her since we're in Rimuru's house, so it kinda just floats Infront of me right now
“So... Is this a test or a no?” I grabbed the (way stronger than a nuke) ball of energy and held it on my hand
Carrera, who was still looking away when she threw the attack, turned around with a big smile
A terrifying smile
. . . ‘That smile gave me chills, I like it’
She didn't say anything and just threw another attack at me
But this time she also appeared behind me with an [Abyss Core] in hand
. . . ‘Oh well, gonna have to force her to submit or leave now...’
I held out my hand and made the two balls merge instead of exploding upon impact
At the same time, my other free arm swung around to swat away her hand
Or atleast tried to
After she dodge my arm, I could feel and see that the space around my back distort causing me having to use way more calculation
Although it's not like it's a big deal now since I'm able to stop most of her vectors just fine
Sure she is using her own [Space-Time Manipulation] to counter mine, so right now whoever has superior control over spacetime itself is going to be the victor
However don't forget one thing about me, I will only lose in battle of endurance
Even if she were to defy the laws of physics (which she currently can't) I just need to add more imaginary vectors to my calculations and it'll work out, I think... I actually never tested it since I have no one to test that theory. Either way, I'm still safe for now atleast
Anyway, with those explanation out of the way
I got up and face towards her “Give up, Carrera. You know full well that I will always win in a quick battle”
I allowed her head to move and she immediately snarked “Haa? Never! Even if I have to wait a thousand years!”
. . . ‘that's a shame...’ I sigh before grabbing the [Abyss Core] from her hand
“Heh, are you going to kill me with my own attack?” She taunted, perhaps believing that she'll be able to survive it, or she just find it amusing
I'm not sure, Oh well, it's not important
“No” I put the two highly destructive object behind me and let them delete each other “I would never do that”
My reply irritates her but before she could say anything, I did something unexpected
It's so unexpected that Rimuru and Esprit have their mouths hanging open. Even Veldora stopped reading his manga to look at me
What did I do?
. . . ‘I... kissed her...’
I kissed Carrera
. . . ‘my first kiss...’
Her eyes went wide out of surprise
. . . ‘so this is how it feels...’
But soon enough the surprise turns into anger
. . . ‘it's... lovely’
I think she might've said something to the two demons telepathically because they suddenly get up to attack me aswell
Although it's not like I care about anything else at this point, I just let my subconscious deal with it
After what felt like eternity thanks to [Thought Acceleration] (in reality it's only a minute) I let go of her and sees my surrounding
Agera and Esprit stopped in place on either side of me
Veldora was talking glances between one of his manga and me, curious I looked at what he's holding and sees there's two characters kissing on it...
. . . ‘did he freaking compared me to that manga's character???’
Meanwhile Rimuru is still standing unmoving from his previous spot
. . . ‘I think Raphael still in control’
Anyway, after confirming that everything is under control, I let Carrera's head to move
And she immediately send profanities at me... it's understandable
“-HOW DARE YOU DO THAT YOU #$*%∆¢§€!”
That might be the most terrifying voice I've ever heard... I love it

‘Don't judge me’
Anyhow, Carrera doesn't seems to be going to stop anytime soon, so I did everyone present a favor by cutting the sound waves coming our way
This obviously made her angrier, not that we'd hear her complains
“Well then” I began speaking “I don't think I'll be able to change your mind with the current me, it truly is a shame that we'll have to separate”
I moved back a few steps and began casting a mass teleportation spell similar to Rimuru's, just on smaller scale
“Sorry for the broken promises, I'll make sure to fulfill it someday. So until then, Farewell”
The spell activated and they're teleported away to who knows where
. . . Yeah not even I knew, [Understander] was the one who picked the destination
After that's all done and everything went back to normal. I collapsed on the floor
The sound of Rimuru approaching with worry was the last thing I heard...
. . . ‘I'm glad she turn into how I wanted her to be, although I would've prefer if she stayed with me afterwards’
