Lloyd Point Of View
"We found out that the tea shop was being run by a bunch of onis warriors, they opened it so that they can trick you on drinking their tea, and that he was supposed to power your Oni side"Zane stated, I was surprised.. a bit.
"And...so?"I said, wondering what they are going to do about it, "we're going to construct a ritual to see how stable you are" master Wu said, I'm pretty stable so there's pretty much no need for that.
"Alright, I'll just leave..." I said as I started leaving but then someone gripped my wrist, "I'm going to supervise you" Zane said, as he followed me,"fine" I mumbled.
As I entered my room, I took out my headphones in my comic book, and I started to play my music. "Do you mind if I look around?" Zane asked me and I responded back "yes, I do mind". But that didn't stop him, he started to look for anything suspicious.
It was getting annoying and it irritated me that he was touching my stuff. "Can you just stop?!" I shouted out of annoyance "alright" Zane said as he sat down where my desk was.
I eyed him down and then he opened my sketch book. I jumped up to stop him but it was too late, "NOO!" He then froze when he saw my sketches, and I started to get nervous.
Without thinking, I snatched the book out of his grasp and gripped it tightly, like if my life depended on it.
"What were those drawings?" Zane asked in a worried tone, should I answer? No.. it will weird him out! "Their,..their from a.. dream, I sketched it out to remember it, and when I have more... I sketched them out too", I said all of a sudden.
"Just... Don't tell anyone, please!" I begged as I fell to my knees. "Just for now, I'll keep it a secret" Zane said as I sighed in relief.
"....are.... Are you ready for the ritual?" Zane asked me and I nodded. This is getting ridiculous, the overlord, onis, my form, the tea shop, and that dream, this is too much for me. I-I just...need... Someone to help me through this.
Zane slowly got up and went to get master Wu, I quickly hit the book under my mattress and left the room.
"Were ready for the ritual" I said and followed them to an empty room, it was dark and there were many candles forming a circle and there was white powder forming a circle too with some ancient language on it, I took a look at the walls and there was more ancient language written in a red substance.
"Let's start" Master Wu said as I entered the circle, waves of energy ran through my body and it kind of sting. "Ngh..that stings", I murmured as Master Wu sets up a barrier, "what's that for?" Kai asked and I had the same question in mind, "in case it gets out of control, I set up a barrier to keep you contained" Master Wu answered.
"Will it...hurt?" I asked nervously, the barrier just makes me feel unsure and paranoid. "It might hurt a bit if something happens to you" Master Wu said, but I still didn't understand. Master Wu started to chant, and the pain started to increase, I tried to keep it under control but it started to hurt even more. "Stop...ugh, please" I gasped out a few words as I fell to my knees, my legs felt numb but at the same time, extremely sensitive. Uncle ignored my words and continued, "STOP, PLEASE UNCLE!" I screamed.
I ran towards the barrier and started to hit it, an attempt to escape. "LET ME AHH-" the pain was unbearable, I needed to get out. "Sensei, we should let him out" Kai said worried, my skin felt like it was on fire. "No, not yet, Lloyd's showing the signs that he might be going out of control but I'm not 100% percent sure" Master Wu said.
"JUST LET ME OUT!" I shouted from the top of my lungs.
3rd Point Of View
As Lloyd throws all of his might into breaking the barrier, his skin slowly transforms into gold scales. Then his clothes slowly became apart with the scales, as his face transformed and his hair disappeared. He grew an extra two arms and his eyes glowed purple. "LET ME OUT!" Lloyd screamed again as he punched the barrier again and it formed a crack.
"Once he's out, I will need you guys to secure him down" Master Wu said as he holds his staff. Lloyd then breaks the barrier and runs out of it (he's a runner, he's a track star) and falls limp to the ground as his body quickly transforms back to its former state. The ninjas then held him down as Master Wu checked on him, "he's fine" The old man said as the ninjas then let go of him. "He got burns all over his body" Zane said as he finished scanning Lloyd.
"Why didn't you stop the ritual?" Kai as he looked at his sensei worried, "I needed to complete the ritual to have the final statement" Sensei answered as he looks at Lloyd's face with a sad expression, "and what's the final statement?" Jay asked and Wu answered back slowly, "he's...he's slowly leaning into his oni side, with the amount of tea consumed, it's not a surprise" everyone then grabbed Lloyd and brought him back to his room after Wu's statement.
"Sensei, I... I have something to tell you" Zane said with an uncertain tone, "and what may that be?" Wu said as he sat down next to Lloyd's bed. "Lloyd's been drawing... Some weird things" Zane finally spit it out. Everyone's face turned into a face of confusion, "what kind of drawings?" Nya asked. "He said they were drawings from dreams and visions he had" Zane answered back,"where is it? The book" Cole asked.
"It's in he-" Zane cuts himself off when his hands couldn't find the book. He's just through the desk and still couldn't find it, "the book.. it's gone? Look for it!" Zaid announced as he started to search around the room, as the other ninja started to move the stuff around, "I can't find it!" Jay screeched as his face squinted from the stress, "keep looking" Cole said as he moved shoes around the closet.
"Check under his bed" Kai said as he moved towards the bed, then he noticed something. He lifted the mattress up carefully and found a black box and quickly got a hold of it. "Found it" Kai said as he went towards Master Wu and the others.
"I'm not sure we will find anything that might help, but it's our best shot" Jay said I see watches high hand the book over to master Wu. Master Wu then opens the book and a quiet gasp escapes from his mouth.
"What is it?" Cole asked as everyone got concerned.
Master Wu turned the book open and everyone was shocked by the image shown in the front of it. There were a few words written in the top, vision: the overlord and I will have to fight again but.., the rest of the words were scratched off and the image shows Lloyd in a dark room, chained up in the corner of the room, his face was bloody and tired, but his eyes were glowing purple. Then Master Wu flipped the page and there were no words but another image, and it was the ninjas going inside around the portal but Lloyd looked worried and scared as he entered from the back of the group.
"I'm concerned, he stated that these drawings are based from visions and dreams that he has been experiencing lately" the ice ninja said I see flip the page for master Wu. The next image shows a temple and it's surrounded by black clouds, ghosts, and onis. "Could this be a clue?" Nya asked as she pointed to the temple, "it might" Master Wu said as he flip to the last page, it wasn't finished, half the page was drawn on and the other half was blank.
It shows Lloyd's face on the top as it shows golden scales and his horns. "It's his Oni form, but what could it mean?" Cole asked and master Wu answered immediately, "maybe he must power his Oni form for a battle against evil, that's my best answer" and Jay's face went into shock, "b-but your master wu, you always know the answer" Master Wu nodded a no and responded to his statement. "I'm old and wise, but not that wise that I will always know the answer" then Master Wu places the book back to its original place.
"We should wake Lloyd up right now, but don't tell him that we saw his book" Master Wu said I see approached Lloyd and all the ninja said in the same time, "yes sensei".
Master Wu then shakes Lloyd from his sleep, as Lloyd's eyes started to open. "W-what!" He said in a high and painful tone as his eyes wandered everywhere.
"The ritual went awful" Master Wu said as he sat with Lloyd, "we have to find a cure so your oni and dragon sides can balance once again" The long bearded man said as he glanced at Lloyd eyes, there were still purple and weren't changing for any time soon.
"Right" Lloyd said in a bored and sarcastic tone, Wu realize this but ignored it. "We should all take a break, Christmas is coming soon anyways!" Cole said proudly, "Plus, it'll give you time to relax from your Oni problems" Kai joined in.
"I guess" Lloyd said as he layed backed down, staring at the ninjas.
