you all went back to jujutsu high to discuss on what the next move would be. it turns out nanami had contacted the windows who had connections to the residuals that could help find out where the hideout was. unfortunately, it wasn't enough information so you and itadori went with ijichi to have a chat to one of the main suspects, junpei yoshino.
before leaving, itadori ran back to the classroom nanami was in,
"itadori?" you questioned. he just kept running. he stopped at the door and spoke to nanami one more time,
"nanami-sensei! i forgot to tell you, be careful!" you smiled at the boy's strange antics.
"please do not call me sensei, i am not a teacher,"
"okay nanamin!"
"i will smack you!" the blonde retorted. both you and ijichi snickered at him as itadori ran back to the two of you,
"okay! let's gooo!"
you all drove to where junpei's house was. after you spotted him, it was time to release the flyhead curse to test if junpei could see them or not,
"alright, here we go," ijichi spoke, releasing the curse,
"WAIT THERE'S SOMEONE ELSE THERE!" itadori noticed. you started running towards the curse with itadori following behind you. he caught up really quickly, trying to grab the curse before eventually killing it. you did see that junpei did notice the curse, but did not fight back, meaning there wasn't really any threat from him.
the old guy outside junpei's house started bothering us, calling us "rude" for interrupting,
"i'm sorry, sir, but this is really important," itadori shrugged,
"what could be so important you have to interrupt! you are just children!" he yelled.
you were about to retort, opening your mouth until itadori grabbed the guys pants and started running away with them. you laughed a bit at the sight,
"what just happened..?" junpei asked,
"don't worry, he'll be back in a second, then we'll explain," you spoke in between giggles. itadori then came back after running around the block,
"woah, you're back already? that was quick," junpei eclaimed
"yep!" itadori grinned,
"you didn't have to do that you know.. you could have just like, dragged me off or something,"
"yeah, but i could tell you didn't like him, right?"
"yeah.. but how?" junpei asked,
"who would like someone like that," you rolled your eyes. junpei simply chuckled,
"i guess you're right.."
"come on, let's go for a walk," itadori said, pointing the other way.

you guys made your way to this bridge where junpei sat on the staircase, whilst you and itadori tried reaching ijichi,
"he's not answering the phone!" itadori groaned,
"not answering mine, either," you shrugged,
"should we just start questioning him?"
"uhh, i don't know if that's a good idea itadori.."
"forget it! i'm just gonna do it," he sighed,
"uh, okay,"
the two of you walked over to junpei. itadori started speaking,
"hey, people died at the movie theatre you went to. did you happen to see anything weird like this thing?" he said, holding up the flyhead,
"uh, no.. i only began seeing things like that recently,"
"huh, only recently. okay! i have nothin else for ya then!" itadori exclaimed,
"what? that's it?" junpei asked,
"mhm, our superiors are coming soon though to ask more questions, do you mind waiting?" you added, taking a seat beside junpei, staring at the ground,
"sure, i don't have anything else to do,"
it got a little awkward for a second before itadori sat on the other side of junpei asking him about the movie he watched,
"so! what movie did you watch?" he asked,
"ahh, it's an old movie, i doubt you would be interested,"
"tell me! tell me! tell me!" itadori exclaimed. you smiled at the boy's social skills,
"i went to watch human earthworm 3," junpei sighed,
"blegh! that movie was sooo boring! i got punched so many times watching it,"
"punched..?" the ravenette asked,
"well, it is a splatter film so i don't really know why itadori expected so much," you sighed,
"right?" junpei agreed, "you guys really watched it?"
"yes!" itadori exclaimed,
"yep, itadori forced me to watch the entire series with him," you shuddered,
"but you have to agree that the second movie was pretty good!!"
"exactly! it had many redeeming qualities," junpei jumped with a sparkle in his eyes,
"i will say the storyline was a lot better," you added.

the three of you got along pretty well whilst waiting for a call back from ijichi. you actually all had a lot in common, especially when it came to movies, though junpei and itadori were definitely more into it then you were.
junpei was talking about how much better it was watching movies at the theatre when itadori offered for you three to go togesther some day since he hadn't been there in a while. you were about to give him your contact information until we were interrupted by a woman,
"huh, junpei?" the woman squinted, looking at the boy. you all walked up to her,
"who are your new friends?" she asked. you introduced yourself before itadori did,
"i'm y/n l/n, it's nice to meet you!"
"i'm yuji itadori! i don't think spring onions match you really well!" he pointed out. both you and junpei looked at eachother a little weirded out. almost as if he was asking what was going on, to which you mouthed,
"i have no fucking clue,"
the lady laughed before talking,
"thank you. i'm striving to be a woman who doesn't suit spring onions," you chuckled a bit. she had a good sense of humour. junpei scolded her for smoking cigarettes before she invited you and itadori for dinner,
"thank you for the offer, but i really wouldn't wanna be a bother!" you replied,
"it's not a bother at all! please come, i haven't met any of junpei's friends!"
"mom! stop being a pain," junpei groaned,
"you think my cooking is a pain?" she responded. you simply watched the interesting interaction between the mother and son until itadori's stomach started grumbling. everyone went silent.
you sighed and realised that you and itadori would be having dinner with junpei and his mother tonight.

as soon as you all decided to eat, itadori started cracking jokes that made both junpei and his mom laugh. he made referenced a scene from the movie 'cast away' and junpei immediately spat his drink out, laughing his ass off,
"what's that? i don't get it?" junpei's mother turned to you,
"ahh, it's a western movie," you smiled. she smiled back at you while itadori kept joking around. he was the life of the party at the moment.
about an hour later, you all watched a movie and junpei's mother was passed out on the table. junpei pulled a blanket over her so she could be comfortable,
"you have a really great mother," itadori spoke,
"yeah, she reminds me of my own," you smiled softly. itadori looked at you with a bit of pity, knowing that it might be hard for you to be away from her for so long,
"she is great isn't she. what's your mom like, itadori?"
"oh, i never got to meet her. i barely remember my dad," he said nonchalantly, "i had my grandpa though,"
my phone then started ringing. you excused yourself and walked away from the two boys who were chatting,
"ijichi-san?" you answered the phone,
"where are you guys? i'm coming to pick you up,"
"wow, it's about time," you rolled your eyes,
"i apologise." you heard from the other side of the phone,
"we're at junpei's house,"
"you guys are still there? what are you even doing?"
"we were watching movies,"
the call went quiet for a second until ijichi started shouting in panic,
"WATCHING MOVIES WITH A MAIN SUSPECT?!?! WHAT ARE YOU GUYS THINKING?!"
"chill, he doesn't pose a threat, it's fine,"
"okay, well i'm two minutes away so let itadori know to come on out,"
"okay then,"
you hung up the phone letting itadori know that ijichi is close. when you walked back over to them, it got a lot quieter and made you wondered what they were talking about. you decided you would ask itadori about it later.
