Saavik and David are indeed rescued but not by who they thought would rescue them Anansa and a somewhere around 20+ year old Spock walk towards them and the Klingon's that surround them as one of the Klingons walk over to Saavik and pull her up by the collar then place his Communicator by her lips "Admiral, this is Lieutenant Saavik" Saavik says into it and they hear Kirk's voice reply through the Communicator "Saavik! is David with you?" Saavik replies "yes".... Kirk hears someone grunt like he has been stabbed then the Communicator fall to the ground and a familiar woman's voice say "I know how you Klingons usually feel about honor but you're not being very honorable so you do not get a honorable death nor will I allow you to live!" and he smiles he hears the Klingons call out a battle cry then one by one make the same noise as the other one "well at least they got to die by their own weapon" he hears Anansa say after a small pause he hears her say "now Admiral, I'm sure you have to deal with their equally dishonorable and now possibly angry Commander so I will leave you to do that though you might want to hurry this planet is very unstable and may self destruct within the next few minutes I do find one thing strange.... I thought Klingons never take prisoners and yet they have two down here and a whole ships worth up there I do believe they're slipping maybe they've been in space for far too long you know what that feels like it's probably why you were stupid enough to take the Admiral position when you should have stayed a Captain!" and he chuckles.... Saavik stares at Spock and asks with whispered tones "how- how is this possible!?!" Anansa replies "with death comes life, with life comes death" Saavik looks at her confused "the Genesis Wave his cells could have been regenerated" David says his eyes widen and he stares at Anansa in shock as he says with a matching tone "it was you!?!" Anansa replies "actually it was my parents I was a bit preoccupied, meditating then dealing with a young man who was going through Pon Farr in just as rapid a rate as his rebirth and growth" he looks at her confused "it's a Vulcan thing I'm sure you wouldn't understand" Anansa says Saavik hides a smile as David says "but there were no other ships in orbit but the USS Grissom!" Anansa replies "as far as you know, my parents ship has a much stronger cloaking device than the Klingons and Romulans put together" they hear Scotty say from behind them "indeed and just how did they accomplish that!?" Anansa replies "magical water" Scotty chuckles David and Saavik look at Anansa confused "I'm guessing we're about to have a visitor of the Commanding kind" Anansa says as she turns to face her Enterprising friends aka the Enterprise crew minus one well two if you count Spock who is at her side sliding his fingers up and down her hand Kirk smiles at her Anansa turns her attention to Spock who she sensed was once again feeling great pain from within as he once again starts to age "look at me Spock focus on me not the pain" she says softly his eyes meet and lock with hers and his body calms "that Commander better hurry it's getting worse!" Anansa says softly without looking at anyone but Spock and she tosses Kirk the Klingon's Communicator "now call for your date and make sure he comes with wine and roses.... that is what you usually bring on a date right!?!" she says Kirk chuckles then says into the Communicator "Klingon Commander, this is Admiral James T. Kirk I'm alive and well on the planets surface I know this will come as a pleasant surprise for you, but our ship was a victim of a unfortunate accident sorry about your crew, but as we say on Earth, 'c'est la vie' I have what you want I have the secret of Genesis you're going to have to bring us up there to get it do you hear me? I'm waiting for you what is your answer?" a second later the Klingon Commander beams down to where they are and Anansa hides her tails and ears so she looks more like a Vulcan "I'll leave this one for you James if I break our connection the pain will come back" Anansa says Kirk nods and pats her shoulder "he's a friend Sunset, nothing more" Anansa whispers when she feels Spock's anger she slides her fingers over his and he seems to read from her that her words speak truth so he calms his anger and once again focuses mainly on her and the calmness she brings "drop all weapons!" the Klingon Commander orders Kirk drops his phaser "over there all but Kirk" the Klingon Commander orders waving his phaser in the direction he wanted them to go Anansa takes Spock's hand in her own and leads him over to where the Klingon Commander wanted her and the others to go and her friends, David and Saavik follow "Maltz prisoners are at beam coordinates" the Klingon Commander says into his Communicator "not the Vulcan!" the Commander says "you said "all but Kirk" which means the Vulcan as well" Anansa replies the Klingon Commander growls then says in Klingon "Maltz, activate beam" Anansa, Spock, Bones, Sulu, Scotty, Chekhov, David and Saavik are beamed aboard the Klingon ship.... once aboard the Klingon Bird of Prey Anansa changes back into her true form and the Klingon's who wait for them became enamored by her beauty and come towards her which pisses Spock off and he fights the Klingons that come towards her killing them "Spock!" Anansa says softly Spock looks at her "Saavik if you can read Klingon we should bring the Admiral on Board" Anansa says looking at the female Vulcan who nods then walks over to the console and beams Kirk aboard the ship when Kirk appears he looks around at all the dead bodies "that'll teach a Klingon not to mess with a Vulcan who's going through Pon Farr's Mate!" Anansa chimes he chuckles then says "let's get out of here" Anansa tells him "Sarek knows what to expect" he nods with a smile "how!?!" Saavik adds "he's my father in law plus I hold his sons Katra and he always answers when I call" Anansa tells her Saavik looks at her confused "it is said you don't need to be touching to Mind Meld well with me you don't even need to be in the same area of Space to Mind Meld" Anansa tells her she looks at Kirk and says "let's get the Vulcan home so he can finally rest" Kirk nods with a smile.... Anansa walks around helping her friends read the Klingon Script at each of their stations which they were grateful that she knew "it's a good thing you all have Uhura you'd be lost without her!" she teases "you as well Dove" Scotty replies she smiles then walks over to where she placed Spock in a chair at "his" station or something like it and reaches out her hand which he takes then she leads him off the Bridge and into one of the Klingon's quarters most likely the Commanders "ugh, this will have to do for now" she says as they walk inside she pulls the sheets off the bed opens her Canvas bag and lays the blanket she made Spock for Christmas out of her own fur onto it as well as one of her pillows then lays him on top of them and whispers as she slides her fingers through his hair "rest we'll be home soon" she starts to walk away and stops when she feels him gently grip her wrist "I will not make love to you here!.... how about a lullaby!?" she says softly his eyes sparkle as though they are smiling and he gently pulls her down so that she lays next to him and she softly sings a Vulcan Lullaby as she massages his chest with her fingers which lulls him to sleep and she falls asleep not even a second after he does and when Anansa wakes up she finds that they are in orbit above Vulcan "make sure he's able to keep the tail I'm sure Sarek will understand" she tells Kirk who came to see how she and Spock were faring he nods with a smile then he, Scotty, Sulu, Bones, Chekhov and David gently maneuver a still sleeping Spock who is now his normal age onto a stretcher laying the tail in his left arm and carry him off the ship Anansa folds the blanket and puts it and her pillow back into her bag which holds Spock's "most precious things" including everything she has ever made him then follows them off the ship once Anansa sees Uhura walk over to where she, the rest of the Enterprise crew, Saavik and David are she rushes over and hugs her dear friend who hugs her back with a smile....
"Sarek" Anansa says with a small formal bow when she sees her father in law Sarek bows formally back and replies "you have kept your promise" she says nodding her head towards Kirk and the others "I had help" he replies "indeed" they walk side by side towards the Temple where the Priestess T'Lar waits Synnøve, Zakiya, Lucien and Cyllene who had joined them as they walked stand by Kirk and the others in the temple as Spock's body is brought to where the Priestess stands and laid on one of the stone altars by a group of women T'Lar places her fingers along Spock's forehead and says "Kaltorfalikal" than he removes her hand from his face then says "Sarek.... son of Skon, child of Solkar.... the body of your son breathes still what is your wish?" Sarek replies "I ask for Fal-tor-pan, the refusion" T'Lar says "what you seek has not been done since ages past.... and then, only in legend your request is not logical" Sarek replies "forgive me, T'Lar my logic.... is uncertain where my son is concerned" T'Lar asks "who is the Keeper of the Katra?" Anansa replies as she takes a step forward "I am" T'Lar raises a eyebrow at her "are you saying a wife should not be able to hold her husbands Katra!? he trusts me with his heart why would he not trust me with his living spirit!?" Anansa asks as she walks over to where T'Lar stands Sarek walks with her but stops when they get to the foot of the stairs that lead to where T'Lar stands two of the women who carried Spock's body to the altar walk the rest of the way with Anansa who lays on the other stone altar which is moved so that it is now next to T'Lar who stands inbetween the two Altars "Ben.... Val.... Navu" T'Lar says the sound of a gong is heard T'Lar looks down at Anansa and places her fingers along the Kitsune's forehead then repeats her motion with the fingers of her other hand placing them on Spock's forehead she closes her eyes and uses her telepathy to return Spock's Katra to his body and much to everyone's relief she was successful and when the ritual was over T'Lar was carried on a throne out of the room and Spock's robes were changed from black to white Anansa starts to leave the area Spock now stands but stops when she hears him whisper "Sunrise!?!" she smiles then says softly "It's alright I'm just going to go join your father" he nods and she walks away a few seconds later Spock is lead away from the ritual area passing by his family and friends he stops halfway and turns to face those very people taking off the hood of the robe as he does so Synnøve smiles at him knowing full well she would not get a smile back but she could feel that he had recognized her whether it be as the young girl he played with our his daughter has yet to be determined but at least he knows who she is it was that knowledge alone that made her happy Spock walks down to where his family and friends are looking at each of them as he walks past them he stops at Kirk and says "my father says you have been my friend.... you came back for me.... and my wife" Kirk replies "you both would have done the same for me" Spock asks "why would you do this?" Kirk replies "because the needs of the one.... outweigh the needs of the many" Spock presses his lips together as he turns and begins to walk away he turns back and says "I have been.... and ever shall be.... your friend" Kirk replies "yes yes, Spock" Spock asks "the ship.... out of danger?" Kirk replies "you and your wife saved the ship you both saved us all don't you remember?" Spock walks back over to him and says "Jim your name is Jim" Kirk nods and replies "yes" then he smiles Spock turns and looks at Anansa who says softly "it will take time for your memory to fully return you have just been reborn after all but your parents, myself, our daughter and our friends will help you along the way if you allow us to" he nods Uhura, Sulu, Scotty, Chekhov and Bones walk over to Spock and start chatting with him Anansa smiles at the sight....
The next three months were quite interesting for Anansa and Synnøve Anansa.... in her own way.... learned what it was like to be Amanda for Spock acted as though he actually did go through the Kolinahr Ritual and was "more Vulcan" he showed in his own way that he still loves her and their daughter which she was grateful for Anansa spent a lot of her free time cleaning the Klingon Bird of Prey Bones had "Christened" the HMS Bounty and figuring out a way so that the controls were written in English instead of Klingon she also got rid of all the Klingon food packs and tried her hand at creating a food simulator which didn't work out so well so she converted the Mess Hall.... which just like the rest of the ship was an actual mess.... into a half kitchen with as much human food as she could using a lot of the things she and her daughter planted in their garden at their Vulcan home the only thing that was different was the meat the kitchen has a refrigerated section in it to keep what food she could store inside fresh and the other half was turned into a dining area so her friends had somewhere to sit and eat the food they would have to prepare themselves Kirk had found it amusing that Anansa wouldn't allow anyone on the vessel till she was finished and was shocked to see.... and smell the finished results for she gave her Federation friends a full tour after she finally got everything as close to their liking as possible and smelling as fresh and clean as she possibly could "I just cleaned the rest is up to the rest of you" Anansa says to Kirk who smiles "though I did do one other thing" she says as she turns on one of the consoles on the Bridge which can now be read in English and her friends just about heave a heavy sigh of relief which made her chuckle "all this in 3 weeks!" Kirk says with a surprised tone "I told you I work faster when I work alone and with Spock going back to Kindergarten I have a lot of free time on my hands for he spends more time in school than he does at home" she replies he laughs.... on their first night back home Anansa had prepared herself to be more "separate" from Spock for even though she heard him call her "Sunrise" she was unsure how their relationship was going to "play out" as the humans say Spock had seen her set up one of the guest bedrooms for her to sleep in and asks "what are you doing!?!" she replies "preparing my room" he says "you are my wife you sleep with me" she looks at him and asks "are you sure you want that!?!" he asks "why would I not want that!?!" she replies "you don't know me, not like you used to you just know the "idea" of me what I am by title only...." she stops when she feels him slide his pointer and middle fingers over hers "who says I don't know you!?!" he asks softly "your heart!" she replies she moves her fingers away from his and continue "I am just the woman who "helped" you through the pain of Pon Farr during your time of duress when your mind was empty but your body was still functioning and as of this moment that is all I am to you so why pretend you know when you don't know anything!?!" he slides the tips of his fingers over her cheek and says softly as he watches her close her eyes to his touch "you are so much more than that and I would like it if you slept by my side" she nods her body sighs whether in relief or something else even she was unsure but she gave in to him as she knew she would what surprised her even more was that when they were laying in bed side by side he cuddled up to her hugging her to him as he slept for he refused to sleep any other way she could even see a hint of a smile when she allowed him to do so he understood her pain and in his own way felt it as well especially when she spoke those words he hated that he is the cause of that pain and wished he could alleviate it but he was unsure how he could do so, they kept the tail she had lost placing it in a protective display case on their dresser till they could figure out what they wished to do with it for Spock refused to get rid of it and was even shocked that it still "lives".... Kirk watched how Anansa was reacting to the "new" Spock and it worried him "look at it from my point of view one we're telepathically linked, two I held his Katra within me, three unlike my daughter who got to meet him as a child and play with him as children do I took care of him when he was a teenager going through Pon Farr over and over again and instead of every 7 years he went through it every 7 hours sometimes sooner as he grew in age feeling the pain of not only the planet everytime it became unstable but the pain that comes with going through Pon Farr you must also remember that I can sense and in some ways feel every emotion he does in a smaller yet just as impactful way not only that but my own body was still in the process of healing from the over exposure of the radiation we both went through so in a manner of speaking we're both healing just from very different things we both need the "other" Anansa and Spock and yet we're both dealing with a different version one neither one of us is used to.... I'll put it to you this way while inside the Reactor my regenerative ability was working in overdrive trying to constantly heal me as I worked for I refused to stop until I was finished and if he never came into the room I never would have lost my tail" Anansa tells him he smiles at the last part Spock, Amanda and Sarek who were standing not too far from where Anansa and Kirk were listened to what she told her friend and even Amanda got a better understanding of what Anansa herself was going through "like you and so many others I miss him even when he's standing right next to me but unlike most probably would attempt to do I will not force him to remember before his heart, mind and body are ready to after all if we were to see it from his point of view, one he died from over exposure to radiation because he walked in just as I was working on the piece that carries the most of it, two he was reborn from the age of what I'm guessing was probably 3 for when my parents found him he was 5, three his body aged at a exceptionally fast rate within a few minutes to a few hours, four the pain of not only growing that fast but Pon Farr and the planets instability, and last but not least regaining his Katra which was in my body so he may also be slightly confused about what gender he actually is!" Anansa adds Kirk chuckles "the most confusing part is..... he's always been more "human" around me and my daughter and now he's probably more Vulcan than his own father all in all there is nothing logical about our marriage for it was "born" from emotion as you can see I seem to be unable to create Vulcan children of the purest kind which would be a logical reason to marry.... in a Vulcan state of mind anyway.... but I suppose you can say I fear "breaking the rules" and lowering his reputation even more than it has already been lowered.... in the Vulcan point of view since even he is a "half breed" because he has a human mother in a manner of speaking I no longer know how to act and or react to him in this state I'm "too emotional" and he's "not emotional enough" he knows I'm his wife but the love he once felt for me.... isn't fully there yet at this point and time what he does with me seems more of a comfort thing than anything else if that makes any sense" she adds he smiles sadly "don't get me wrong I'm grateful for what I have that he's even acknowledging the fact that he knows who I am and who our daughter is he's even been very kind to her and doing what he can to re-get to know her but.... it isn't the same and will take some getting used to I won't leave him for I still love him and I definitely won't divorce him for that would be even worse for his reputation than our illogical marriage but until I know what hopefully still exists somewhere inside him is there, until I can not only sense it but FEEL it as I once did even when he hid it I still sensed it I'm just not sure.... I don't want to "overdo" it and make it seem like I'm forcing him to love me just because I want that love back and I won't make him love me when he's not ready to" she says he pats her shoulder with his hand and smiles sadly
